Spicy salmon roll

I came closer to closing time but they sat me and served me. I've been wanting ramen and a bit of sushi and that's what I got. It was tasty. There were a few other people there and several take out orders being filled. The atmosphere was chill.

T2* Ahi Tuna Nori Taco
Kayla L.

First time i ordered from here was in Uber Eats I have the salmon taco which is by one get one on Uber Eats and had the special roll combo where you get to choose to chef special rolls. In my more recent visit I went and pick up my order very cute place many tables. I had the salmon taco again the and Ahi Tuna taco. The tuna taco was okay the wasabi sauce take away from the flavor and the tuna just take like regular raw tuna missing that Ahi flavor. The kani salad was a great. The surume ika (bbq squid) was as 10/10, a big portion and great flavor, perfectly good not too chewy definitely gonna re-order again. Only reason I took off one star is because of the tuna taco the wasabi sauce and the bland to a really took away from that great taco.

3 roll sushi: Spicy Crunchy Salmon Roll, Salmon Avocado Roll, Spicy Crunch Crab Roll

This spot is perfect for a quick lunch during the week with co-workers or a friends catch-up. I love getting their 3 rolls sushi for lunch or dinner Ambiance: - modern East Asian style decor - plenty of seating Service: - staff is friendly and attentive - sushi is made quickly Food: 3 roll lunch for $15 was such a good deal! - salmon avocado roll has fresh avocados and large chunks of salmon. I knew that the sushi here would be fresh because the avocado was perfectly ripe - crunchy salmon roll was delicious and slightly spicy. - miso soup: lightly seasoned standard miso soup

Salmon teriyaki bento

The service was great, good came fast! And the bento box is great, it's always a good choice they were $21 per bento box. The shrimp fried rice was amazing, some of the best I've had! The salmon in the bento box was disappointing, it was the thinnest piece of salmon I have ever had over a bed of onions. I wish I had gotten chicken too. The ramen was tasty according to my husband. Portion sizes were good. There was only one other person dining in, ambiance is nice for a casual spot.

Miso Ramen

4 star sushi / 3 star Ramen The Sushi: - Quality & Quantity - Ordered the 3 Rolls Special via uber eats for $26.00:  - Spicy Crunch Crab Roll - Spicy Tuna Roll - White Tuna Roll - Salad - All 3 rolls were good. I particularly enjoyed the Spicy Crunch Crab! The Ramen: - Ordered: - Black Garlic Ramen x2 (BOGO) - Miso Ramen - Quantity over quality: I have never not finished a bowl of ramen...until now. With the miso ramen, the meat was tough and the broth was lacking flavor. I had to add chilli oil, which helped bring out the flavor slightly, but not enough. Ordered via Uber Eats. The meal was still hot and fresh when it arrived, and service was super friendly and convenient. All in all, I would not recommend the ramen. But if you're looking for a good sushi place, Yasuo is worth a try!

I come here frequently and it hits every time, I think I came on an off day only once. During the week it's pretty calm which is great for a quick bite, I went as a group of three and we were out in 40 minutes on a simple Monday. The take out is also fresh and convenient as well. The staff is always nice and efficient even when it gets busy (typically weekend nights). My favorite on the menu is currently the sushi deluxe, but I also get a variety of different special rolls in their maki special combo.

So I finally came to check this place out . Some parking in the back - other than that- it's street parking Inside is cute- I like the booths Food is ok . Tried one roll- spicy crunchy tuna . Also tried the truffle shrimp ramen soup.

We called to do a takeout order as their website was closed for orders. Small bummer- no lunch sushi special today but understandable. We ordered 2 salmon avocado rolls, one spicy salmon roll, one seaweed salad, one avocado roll, one cucumber avocado roll - total cost came out to $42. Overall unimpressed with what we got but not dissatisfied, don't think we would return- but the restaurant interior looked nice

Yasuo has such a huge menu, I had a hard time deciding between ramen or sushi (or both)! I went with the Sunshine Roll, and let me tell you, it was amazing--super fresh and packed with flavor. Exactly what you want from sushi. I can't wait to come back and try more of their menu. Just a heads-up, the parking lot is tiny (only fits about 4 cars plus 1 handicap spot), but the service was super fast when we came around 4:30 pm since it wasn't too busy.

Update review!!!!! I ordered chicken tempura and they gave me SHRIMP AND CHICKEN on Uber eats!!!!! I literally had an allergic reaction :( I didn't notice until I saw pink in my sushi and thought I had raw chicken when it was shrimp! I was so upset

I ordered a shoyu and miso ramen but they look identical except the broth

I got my order to go so I didn't get to dine in. The ramen was very tasty, and sooo gooood. Loved the pork belly and the broth was delicious. Would definitely order ramen from here again :)

My original review was my first time at Yasuo, and since then, I cannot say I've had as quality of an experience. I've tried ordering takeout twice, the second time giving them the benefit of the doubt, but was unfortunately disappointed on both occasions. During the first, the employee taking my order was terse and unfriendly, and actually put the phone down and left me hanging on the call for at least five minutes after asking a question about one of their menu items. This led me to eventually having to hang up. I called again and just ordered; after picking up and trying our food, my family had mutually agreed that it wasn't very fresh. During the second, after a long day of work, I ordered online for delivery from Yasuo. I try to give grace to workers in food because I know it's not easy, but it took over an hour to get my food after an expected 25 minutes listed on the delivery. I tried calling in for updates twice after the 25 minutes passed, even asking for some kind of discount or accommodation once it hit the 1 hour mark, but was met with no info but "it should be coming". I absolutely love supporting small businesses, but I believe good customer service is an integral piece in any successful restaurant. If they had just communicated the first time that they were busy or the second time that my order would take longer than expected, I wouldn't have been upset at all! I'd love to dine here again if they improve on some of these elements, but for now I sadly would not recommend!

Pass by this little ramen shop many times and decided to give it a try today. They opened at 11:30…read moreso I was there right when they open.. the store is not huge, but with cute decoration on the wall with hand drawn picture of ramen and simple menu.. and with some Asian style decor on the other wall.. I ordered a black garlic ramen and a kids meal (katsu) for my son, they came pretty quickly and they look delicious!! My son's katsu is super hot and crunchy (he said he doesn't want to eat it prior the food come, and ate 1/2 of the chicken!!) that means did you great!!! Rice was a little hard to be honest and corn was ok.. I kinda put them in my ramen.. the black ramen was good.. lots of spinach and thick piece of pork (chasiu).. soup was thick but not too thick!! Noodle was cool perfectly.. only thing is I have to pay to get the egg, but it was cook perfectly!! My son agree since he ate the entire egg.. would definitely come back again.. I wonder if it would get super busy at lunch time since they don't have too many tables (10 maybe), they might be a line out the door.. but 11:30 was a great time!! And parking is just across the street!!

Ordered a strawberry lemonade, fried gyoza (with chicken; not pictured since I was starving and ate it too fast), dumplings (also with chicken) with crispy onions and bean sprouts, I got the miso ramen (with chicken...appears to be a theme), and my GF got the Katsu Curry (yep, theme confirmed. Came with chicken). Fried gyoza was an easy 5/5. Perfectly cooked and the dipping sauce was divine. Will definitely order again. Dumplings had a nicely-sized piece of shrimp along with ground pork inside. Dumpling skin wasn't too thin and wasn't too thick. The sauce they came in was also quite tasty. 4.5/5. My miso ramen was delish. Broth was savory, ramen noodles had a nice chew...would also reorder. 4.5/5. My GF 's Katsu Curry...she said it was decent enough but it was kind of bland because there wasn't enough curry sauce. She gave it a 3/5. All in all, we both said we'd be back. Next time I'm sure she'll try a ramen dish instead, I'll probably reorder what I got this first time.

The place is pretty good. They have tablets for you to order on, so it makes ordering the "Build…read moreyour own" pretty easy. It's also a nice little spot, there's a lot of seating and they have some cute wall paintings and decor that make it feel nice. We had went after it had just opened, so it was also clean and not busy at all. I had ordered the "Build your own" sushi bowl with white rice, shrimp tempura, tamago (sweet omelette), seaweed salad, romaine lettuce, soy sauce, and sesame sauce. They have a lot of options to pick from so it's nice to customize it to your likings. My only thing is that I had ordered a bowl and I'm sure that's what I picked, but they ended up giving me a sushi burrito. I was a little disappointed at first, but at least the sushi burrito is really good. It's essentially a jumbo roll of sushi. I really enjoyed mine and each of the individual ingredients tasted really fresh and good. You get a lot with your order so I felt really full. I definitely do want to come again, and I think next time I actually would want to get the burrito.

I'm surprised this place got a remodel/renovation. It looks much more modern and has several Asian…read morethemed murals (like Naruto and Doraemon). I wasn't too impressed with the food. I felt like my sushi burrito was kind of dry. I made my own sushi burrito and all my ingredients were there. Inflation has really increased the price of this item as well as the food choices. The topping list is somewhat limited, and now you pay $2 extra for masago. Portion looks small but it was filling. Everything is online so customer service was limited. There's three kiosks on the wall to order. Parking except on Sundays is very difficult to find. It's a block away from a paid parking lot if you can find a spot though.

Maybe as a ramen snob i had low expectations but I really liked this place. The ramen broth was…read morelegit authentic. And portions were very generous. The pork slices were big although I wouldn't say they are as good as those found in very traditional and higher end ramen places in NYC. But at this price point in the suburbs, the place is absolutely a 5-star. Look it's not Ippudo or Ichiran... it's part of a small group with various locations... but it's also not your typical suburbia mall Japanese spot either. The drinks are very well priced too. Service was very friendly, it's convenient with lots of parking, and they seem to be quite busy midweek for early dinner. I've yet to find a go-to ramen place in NJ... Ani Ramen is popular around here though I think this is better. It's good enough for this ramen snob to not make me want to drive into Manhattan to seek out ramen even if it's not exactly quite like the very best in the city.

They also brought out a complimentary bowl of kimchi to start the meal, which was lovely. Everything was pretty good. The ice cream came with a disposable soup spoon, which was too weak and deep to easily eat the ice cream. I wish they would provide regular flatware instead of disposable, but that was the only issue. I had the donut for breakfast the next day and it was still nice and chewy.

If the kitchen is running behind they'll often give us a free appetizer. The space gets a little loud at times but it's part of the ambiance. Our favorite appetizers to order include: Bao Buns, Edamame, and Cucumber Salad. For ramen our go-to is always the Spicy Miso, but will sometimes mix it up and get the Chef's Special or the Shoyu. Endless great food options and I love coming here!

But we were just dropping by one of our absolute favorite places to eat in Summit. Summit has a great downtown with many restaurants and let me be brutally honest. Many will disappoint. My experience is a lot of muted flavors. Not too spicy. Some honestly pretty bland. Not so here. We get the ramen fairly often. I get the chefs special or house special? Something special. And it is. My wife gets the vegan one. She gets it with no bamboo shoots. Not a bamboo shoot fan. She would make the perfect panda roommate. They are crazy about them. Her panda roommate would not even need to put his name on them in the fridge. She wouldn't go near them. They wouldn't need to have that awkward conversation where he would say, "I'm pretty sure I had like 3/4 of a container of bamboo shoots yesterday," She hates them. Be careful. I am pretty sure they are not called bamboo shoots on the menu. I think they use the Japanese name for them. And we always get the tofu bao buns because she's pretty vegan. Not orthodox vegan. She might have an egg. Especially here. Add an egg to her ramen. Ramen is terrific. And we've had it delivered as well. Packed really well. Actually maybe not delivered. But take out for sure. We ate in tonight I had the Kimchi pork bao buns. Wow. People will write songs about them. And I had the sticky chicken wings which are only available for dine in. Super crispy super sticky. If people are writing songs about the bao buns they would go to war over these wings. Even a panda would be like Why was I eating sticks? What's wrong with me? These are amazing! The place is really cute inside. I see it described as hipster but this is definitely a popular family spot in Summit. When it is nice out they slide the front of the restaurant open to let the fresh air in. So that's nice. Super cute. Great food. Fast friendly service.
