Miso broth, vegetarian style, with two seasoned eggs. Love!!!
    Laura D.

Got the make your own ramen; built it with the miso broth, vegetarian style and added seasoned eggs. Boy oh boy! That was a flavorful soup! The seasoned eggs were TO DIE FOR! The restaurant is small but roomie. Staff were very polite. They accept card, and bathroom on premises. Coming again!!

During my visit, I experience good customer service; employees are very helpful and kind (like check in from the kitchen helpful and kind). My order is with a form of vegetable noodle (perhaps spinach). Not salty though savory. The additional optional seasoning is cooler, offering a tasty tinge of spikeless spices with each bite. Very filling. The ingredients are soft to chew. The meal travels well. The warm meal is really nice to eat during a rainy day. The interior of the eatery is somewhat cozy, somewhat tight. Chill vibes. The positioning of the doors with certain seating areas means one must be aware of the potentials of variables of outdoor-atmospheric parameters engaging with the interior (like weather conditions, smells from outside the eatery). The eatery accepts different forms of payment.

Their soup warms my soul man. So happy ramen gami is back. I drag my coworkers here even in the summer. Their tonkotsu is my absolute favorite.

Lovely place, can't complain. The cashier was professional, polite and very quick in the way he serviced me. This place has delicious ramen and sushi, both of which I had on my visit. It's a small, cozy place but there are an ample amount of seats if you'd like to stay and eat.

I only order takeout since I was not sure if it is easy to park around this area. There is actually lot of parking spots available. I ordered Dagon Roll and RG Roll. They are well prepared with great sushi quality. The RG roll had too much spicy crab covered the sushi. Will have to come in to try the ramen next time. The price is very reasonable and there is no credit card surcharge.

Eaten here since my college days! Really great staff in a cute clean shop with lots of great sushi options. Really wish they'd bring back the OG way of making the spicy tuna and spicy salmon rolls with the large pieces of fish and green onion instead of chopped up

Great ramen! Close to Rutgers Newark so the prices are reasonable. The service was fast and amazing. We went during the lunch rush but we were still able to spot to dine in. I love that everything is customizable.

Tonkatsu ramen with extra noodles, pork, egg and a salmon avocado side salad

Killer spot, excellent food, nice workers, clean place 10/10. Little pricey in my opinion but you get what you pay for. Pretty easy parking out front for Newark as well

This spot is tiny with a very small seating area, but the food was served quickly and it was delicious. The create your own option was a little intimidating for a first-time ramen orderer (that's me), but my friend helped to navigate their menu and the staff was patient with us. The green tea mochi was a perfect ending to our meal.

Nice casual spot for some ramen! Was enjoyable to come after a long day. The tonkotsu was good as always

To be honest, it's not entirely authentic Japanese, but it's pretty good for a gaijin. I only tried the okonomiyaki since it's impossible to find where I live, and it's been 15 years since I last had one. It was not even in the printed menu. I ended up adding spicy mayo because it didn't quite have enough mayonnaise, but overall, it was pretty good. I liked the option to customize Soups with your own condiments, though it might be tricky for someone unfamiliar with the dish. That said, I left satisfied. Go try!

Went for lunch since it's somewhat close to my office and was highly recommended by a coworker. OMG! Best ramen I've had in Jersey, I got a spicy tonkotsu with chicken and egg (I usually get tofu but unfortunately they didn't have that protein option) and it was delicious. The broth felt "homemade" with the perfect amount of spiciness and was such a comforting meal! 10/10 recommend

The food here is always made fresh and brought to you, I love the sushi, ramen and side dishes they have like curry bowl and okonomiyaki they have on Wednesday and Thursdays. Definitely a nice spot to go with friends, family or even a day alone

I got to try the chick soup dumplings, edamame, takoyaki, and the dragon roll. All of the items were really good. Dumplings had good quality of soup. Takoyaki was soft and fluffy with large pieces of squid. The dragon roll had all fresh ingredients. I also got to mango lemonade tea that was refreshing. The town it self was having some pavement work being done and it was difficult to find parking. I was driving away when I eventually found a spot and walked about 6 minutes to the location. As I got there I could see that the restaurant was full and lively. The hostess was friendly and communicated our wait well. It did look like that they were struggling a bit with tables staying longer than they expected which caused a few reservations to be backed up while we were the walkins. I do recommend getting reservations here. I/we ordered a ramen, the cola wings, and the detroit style pizza. They were nice enough to separate the single serving of ramen into two bowls which was really nice of them. The Ramen was good but a bit salty. The cola wings were alright I wouldn't say they were the best I ever had. As for the pizza it was good, however when comparing with similar offerings in the area, Buckys in Chatam, NJ is superior for Detroit style. While, the this particular place did not meet MY standards I would still recommend as a nice date spot!

We tried the following: Chicken Karaage Bao $12 - Very good +!! Crispy chicken and fresh pillowy bao Pork Rice Bowl $12 - disappointing. Very dry and off putting smell and taste of pork. Duck Dynasty Dumplings $12 - Ok. Dumpling wrapper excellent , filling very dry and again off-putting taste. I like duck, but I should have went with the regular pork mix. Barely any sauce as well to dip. Signature Tonkatsu Ramen $20 - Good! Best part was the egg! I've had better ramen elsewhere. For $20 I expected more flavor and fillings. You can definitely customize and add, but at this price point I would rather have had base start at $24 and include wood ears, more veggies, bamboo, etc. Mine was basically the fat part of pork slices with 20% meat, one veggie, whole egg (which definitely was excellent), and a good broth. Thin ramen on this one, but again I've had much better broth, noodles and fillings. Burnt Honey Calamansi Tea $8- very good for about 12-14oz, but expensive. I understand Calamansi is not typical here in north Jersey and I'm certain they pay higher pricing wholesale, but it wasn't that superb to pay $8 for again.
