The bánh mì sandwiches are good here! They bake their bread in-house. Try their Pho bánh mì, which I haven't found anywhere else in Vegas, has beef slices cooked with pho spices. The sandwiches have good amount of stuffing. They have broth noodles dishes too (written on a cardboard?) , but often runs out before dinner. Family and I went here end of December because my older sister's friend's brother owned this restaurant. The food price is very reasonable. We ordered half dozen sandwiches and these literally at least 30+ minutes to make. My sister, her sons and my mother got there at 15 minutes before I arrives, ordered the food, then I went next door to get boba before the sandwiches arrived. I don't think they were prepared to serve many people as most of the people in the restaurant were waiting just as long. The soup came out right away because the broth was pré-made and both bun were delicious. We also got the desserts as well as a baguette to go. The ambiance is a typical quick deli/to go place. Your basic quick asian deli with some premade options in the display case. There's quite a few tables to dine in. It's clean. The gentleman that might be both making the sandwiches and taking orders at the register is very nice and polite. I ordered a grilled pork banh mi and picked out the premade banh cuon for my lunch. The sandwich could have a bit more stuffing but I also like a lot of vegetables. I have coworkers that will order without any vegetables. Been seeing this place for months now and today I made a point to check it out for lunch. The place is bigger than Dakao, has a few tables for dining in. They have the banh mi menu on the wall and seemed to have added a few noodle items on the side (Pho, Bun Bo Hue, Bun Rieu, etc). Here is our takes on them: -baguettes were crunchy but cold, not toasted or room temp -grilled pork banh mi: The meat was a bit salty for me and they were in tiny pieces scooped into the baguette. Didnt have any flavors for me and was not warm or hot - pork belly banh mi: the meat is very fatty, as expected since it is pork belly cut, but it was a little on the cold side, not even room temp or warm, my wife said it wasn't pleasant to eat (cold fat just isn't something you want) . The star of that sandwich actually was the pâté they had in it. I tasted her sandwich and really liked the pâté. The gentleman taking the order was very nice. Let us know that for every 5 sandwiches you order, you get the 6th one free. (So 5 = 6, 10 = 12, etc). No frills amazing Viet cuisine. I am always greeted by the same individual and he always recognizes me. I can say this is one of the best bahn mi outside of Vietnam. The bread is light and airy with perfect crunch from the baguette. I always order the dac biet and everything is perfect about this sandwich. Came here on MLK day. Ordered from their specials: banh mi pho and banh mi heo quay. $6.75 each. Service was really slow but the male staff (owner?) was nice and had a smile. Credit card is accepted. This is our go to spot for our bahn mi and Vietnamese coffee and other small things but this weekend we did try they Bun bo hue me and my husband both got it and let me tell you this small little sandwich place don't play with the flavor. One of the best Vietnamese spicy noodle soup for sure! So flavorful and price is reasonable. Everything we got was amazing. The guy who is always at the register is just very friendly and he always has the big smile on his face. This place now that it's gotten the rhythm is one of my favorite Vietnamese places to eat. While they don't have pho yet, their Bún bò Huế is REALLY good and a great deal! It comes with a side of fresh vegetables which balances out the rich broth and spices. Their Bahn mi are excellent as well and are some of the best that I've had here and in general. I was right, got home opened up the sandwiches and literally nothing inside. #1 had three slices of standard cuts you'd expect in a combo, pate and minimal veggies. Upon first bite, the meat and veggies were cold and bread was really hard and stale. Flavor was there... Bummer. #14 had barely any roast pork inside and the pieces that were there were small and fatty. Again, minimal veggies, and hard ass bread! Total bummer as I was hoping to make this a go to spot for banh mi. Had to toss it in the trash. Gave this place a shot, will never return. There are other banh mi places in Chinatown with better sandwiches. $6-7 per sandwich.... dont have high expectations or else you will be let down and feel like you just wasted your $$$ To the owners of the shop, don't use stale bread from the day before and fill the sandwiches up a little more.
