On the outside, the restaurant is called "Fortune" but it seems to be a combo of Chubby Boy BBQ and the Noodle Man restaurant as well as Fortune for dim sum. We came here for dim sum and the receipt said "Chubby Boy BBQ" when we paid. Maybe they all are partners in this joint an whatever it is called, as long as the food is good, whatever they call it is fine with me. :) So the inside has 2 dining areas and the center of the place is a BBQ place where you can see roast ducks and Xa Xiu Pork hanging there like any China Town BBQ joint would have. Maybe this is their "Chubby Boy BBQ" here. The BBQ place also offers Soy Sauce chicken, Pork Belly, etc. and you can get half or whole chicken. The Pork Belly (Xa Xiu pork) is per pound. When you are seated for dining in, they will give you a menu as well as the Dim Sum menu, where you can visually see the items and you can check mark or put down how many you want per item. The Dim Sum items are per category of A, B, C, D and the pricing will apply to those areas. eg. items in the A category is $, B is $$, C is $$$ and so on. Once ordered, they will print out the items you ordered and give you that list. As they bring out the ordered items, they will cross that off the list. This system is quite neat because there is no misunderstanding of what was ordered, what has been brought out and what is still "outstanding" till they bring them to your table. It's very efficient and transparent, which I really appreciated. The Food: You can see the quality of the food here which is pleasantly and thankfully very good! We were very pleased that everything looked really fresh and very tasty. Definitely a step above other dim sum places we have had. The staff is very friendly, very quick to respond to you. They were jammed packed for a Sunday lunch time and the staff was running around like crazy. Despite how busy and chaotic things were, they seemed to have managed very well and were quick to respond to tables calling/waving them down. They were very friendly and courteous, unlike most Chinese restaurants where cracking a smile or a friendly look would have been uncalled for. The dining areas are very clean, though, and the decor is nice, not overly done. Overall, a very nice, clean look. The majority of the patrons are Chinese, so that is very telling cuz Chinese patrons are some of the hardest patrons when it comes to services and food quality. lol The bathroom could use some attention but maybe because of the lunch rush, it wasn't as kept up. Definitely a step above other Dim Sum places. Other places are like a Walmart of Dim Sum, this places is like a department store Dim Sum, like Kohl's or Macy's. Glad we found this place and will come back for sure.

Solid spot with good ambiance. A little hard to find from the sign but once you open the door it's actually really big. The roast pork and cha siu were really good!! This is definitely more of a roast meats and dimsum spot. The wonton soup was okay, it was good for me since it was clean and clear soup and I needed that but would probably stick to the dimsum and meats next time. Overall def worth a visit!

Ordered duck. It was cold and all fat and bone, no meat. It was gross. The lady at the front was very nice but I'll never come back here

Pretty easy to get a table, fairly clean restaurant compared to equivalent Chinese restaurants. The food is great, the best dish is the salt & pepper dish filets. They're super crispy and big pieces of fish. As far as other dishes, the hot and sour soup was not too sour, but the right amount of spicy. They also have tasty and chewy handpulled noodles, which are tasty for stir fry dishes too. 1 of the dishes I ordered was the long life noodles. It has the right texture, but could use more mushrooms. Would go again to try some soup noodle dishes.

In A Nutshell: -Chubby Boy BBQ is a great find. -It's co-located w/ a new restaurant called Fortune so just walk inside. -They have a lot of options for duck like Roasted Duck or Peking Duck. -The large Roasted Duck was $40 & you get alot of delicious portions. -Their Green Beans are superb too. -Their classic Fried Rice is another great side dish to order, you get a nice healthy portion. -The service is very friendly & attentive. Overall, I would definitely eat here again, they have a really good food & great service.

Pretty tasty but salty too. Everything we ordered was delicious. Roasted pork: perfectly executed. Crispy skin. Very tender and moist meat. Flavorful. The sauce they provide added even more umami. String beans: people have been Ravi g about these string beans. They were indeed worth the hype. Must be a sprinkling of crack magic. Dried scallop fried rice: again, so tasty and delicious. Rice shouldn't be that tasty. Uncle Roger's favorite ingredient must be in there, right? After the meal, I found my mouth craving a waterfall. I would gladly go back though.

Awesome!!! Among the best Peking Duck if not the best Peking Duck in Las Vegas. The food is very, very authentic and each item ordered was perfect. I went with the Peking Duck, beef chow fun (dry), salt and pepper shrimp, and the sautéed bok choy with garlic bulb, The restaurant itself is beautiful and very very spacious. The front door is extremely deceiving and so out of whack I thought it was hilarious. The kitchen and rest rooms are spotlessly clean. The Peking Duck was perfect. Crisp skin and tender juicy meat. Plenty of buns, Housen sauce etc. The beef chow fun was delicious as was the salt and pepper shrimp. I love. Bok choy. Plenty of parking out front. Noodle Man posters on the wall and the name Noodle Man on the door. Another funny aspect

Char Sui Pork (BBQ pork) YUM!!!

A Hidden treasure for Chinese BBQ! Found this eatery, just by chance! Roast Duck , Roast Pork CharSui Pork all delicious & good size portions. Service is good, & efficient & the ong choy is a good compliment & the pan fried house special noodles are the best I ever ate! With all the food we ordered, I felt it was very reasonable. Nice spacious dining room & clean. We'll be back to try other dishes! The BBQ is the Bomb! Broke da mouth Good!!!

The lobster was delicious! Is on Special now $19.99. This is highly recommended. The dim sum was pretty good.

Soy sauce chicken. Sooo good. Everything else I eat was demolished before photos but we caught this one by luck!

For sure one of our go to Chinese restaurants period. There's a few go to dishes that we order everytime we are here. Stir Fry Green Beans in XO sauce- It's at the top of our list. We eat this dish with whatever we are doing creating our meal from start to finish. It's a must there hasn't been any restaurant close to executing that dish this good. Fish egg and crab meat fried rice- Probably my favorite place to get fried rice. It's their wok and it's delicious and will order this every meal here too. Those two dishes are our base. Depending on your mood you can go with your BBQ which is roast duck or soy sauce chicken or roast pork all of those dishes are solid picks and noodle dishes from chow fun to chow mein to pan fried crispy chow mein. Also their salt and pepper shrimp was bomb! They deep fry well and batter is also good. Very crunchy but you have to like eating shell and the shrimp head. Otherwise it's probably not for you. Me and my wife love coming here. It always hits the spot if your really hungry.

Stopped in this place on a lazy Sunday afternoon. The place was pretty quiet as it was around 4:00 Pm. We ordered 2 item combos since we wanted to try different things. The food came out pretty fast and was good. Pretty typical but solid. The portions were a bit small but they matched the prices which were good too. Service was decent, except it took a while to get the check as a huge party of older people came in and since there was only one server it took a little while to take their order. Quick, good, and easily accessible.

Bbq Combo - roasted duck and pork

Was craving Chinese style bbq and stumbled upon here. Place is clean and service was friendly. We ordered the roasted duck, salted chicken, roasted pork, and stir fried crispy noodle. I don't know how they do it but the roasted duck was succulent and maintained its crispy skin throughout the entire meal. The salted chicken wasn't oily (which I appreciate) and wasn't overly salty like how other places prepare this dish. The roasted pork was tender and had its signature crispy skin- I recommend asking for the belly portion. Overall, I would go here again. Prices are fairly decent too considering how pricing everywhere for food has been raising pretty high. For example the crispy noodle we ordered here was $5 less than another Chinese restaurant nearby.

Hands down the best BBQ in Vegas. I crave this place often!!!…read more I esp love the burnt ends. The pork ribs and sausage are my next favorite. Brisket is delicious too. You seriously cannot go wrong. I've yet to try the shrimp or turkey or chicken. The sides are all delicious too. My favs are the coleslaw. It has a mild honey mustard flavor which I love. The eggplant is insane. It has an Asian flavor which is my favorite. Corn muffins are fire and the pickles are delicious and available to buy by the jar which I have multiple times. They have some daily specious too like the burger which is fire. The musabi is soooo good. I wish they had it everyday. The pastrami sandwich is so good too. Is thick cut like brisket and doesn't taste like regular pastrami but still so good. I love this place

I keep coming back, which says something in itself…read more Every Thursday they feature burgers, and they always have their signature Dandan: two 100% brisket patties quick-fried in tallow, topped with cheddar cheese and Dandan sauce on a butter-griddled brioche bun. This week they also offered two specials -- the Oklahoma (Dandan with grilled onions) and the Jalapeño Oklahoma (Dandan with grilled onions and jalapeños). The Dandan has been on my list for a while, so I finally pulled the trigger. I called around 11:30 a.m. and was promptly helped by a friendly employee. After a quick chat about which of the three was best, I went with the Jalapeño Oklahoma and a side of Brussels sprouts. I've had the sprouts before and really liked them -- they felt like a slightly healthier alternative to the usual fried sides. (Though when I arrived to pick up my order, it seemed like everyone else was happily devouring onion rings, which made me second-guess that choice.) As expected, there was a line stretching out the door. I quickly realized I was the only one actually waiting outside. Several people walked straight in, bypassed the line, and got helped right away. Turns out a group of 3-4 people had already ordered and were just hanging out inside in the AC while they waited. Lesson learned: if you've already placed your order, just walk in next time. While I waited, the staff brought out an ice-cold cup of their fresh cantaloupe juice. It's very sweet and genuinely delicious -- highly recommend. I took everything to go and ate at home, so I can't speak to temperature. The burger was big and loaded with meat and cheese -- you couldn't really see the jalapeños or onions at first, but they announced themselves with the first bite. The brisket patties cooked in tallow deliver a deep, rich beef flavor. They're a little firmer than a standard burger (as expected with brisket), so if you're someone who likes a lot of vegetables and toppings, this might not be your ideal burger. But if you're after a straight-up, beef-forward, no-frills experience, you won't be disappointed. The Brussels sprouts were excellent as always -- perfectly balanced with a sweet-tangy balsamic glaze. Let's be honest... I'll definitely be back. Next time I'm trying the classic Dandan -- and those onion rings.

Food: We ordered two brisket burgers, sliced brisket and St Louis ribs. It took 30 minutes to get our food which seemed odd since the place was mostly empty like I said. We got our food and the brisket and ribs were lower end of mid level bbq but this isn't Texas and we expected that. The burgers were absolutely unacceptable! Dry with zero toppings and looked like they were stamped for shape then frozen. The burgers had a smell like the meat was rotten or had turned and then cooked anyway. The sausage was a jalapeño cheddar sausage. For my side, I had mac & cheese and coleslaw. To start off, this is a great place. If I could give it 4 1/2 stars I would but I like to round up. Brisket is really good but a little dry in the mouth. Great Smoky flavor. The mouth-feel was just a little off. It was a little dry, but not bad. The pulled pork was wonderful. Nice Smoky flavor. Nice and tender and juicy. Felt great to chew in my mouth and did not feel dry. A+ for the Pork. The jalapeño cheddar sausage was amazing. Really well done. Flavor was great texture was great. Just a little kick, which was great. I always wish there was more kick, but I understand you got a cater to your customers. One thing I was kind of concerned about was the temperature of the coleslaw. It should be really cold, but it was just kind of a little bit of above lukewarm, but not really cold. Coleslaw should be cold. The mac & cheese was pretty good. Needs a little bit more liquid in it but the flavor was awesome. And it looks like they prepackage the Mac 'n cheese in containers and then sprinkle some cheese on top. That's a nice touch, but it makes the whole container of mac & cheese dry out. They only have one barbecue sauce. It was pretty good. But to me the best way to judge barbecue is if it doesn't eat barbecue sauce. And this did not need barbecue sauce. It was just a nice addition. Food: For the cost, the food was underwhelming. Portions and flavor didn't match what I expected at this price level, and nothing really stood out in a positive way. Even the items that looked promising ended up tasting fairly average. Considering how expensive it is, I expected much better quality and balance. Service: Service was okay, but nothing special. Staff was polite, but the experience felt pretty standard and didn't add anything to make up for the food. Price: This is where the biggest issue is. The pricing feels very high compared to what you actually get. It doesn't feel like good value at all. Ambiance: The vibe was average. Not terrible, but not memorable either. It felt pretty standard and didn't elevate the experience. Pros: Clean space, decent service, modern setup. Cons: Very high price, underwhelming food quality, and overall poor value for the experience. Overall, I left feeling disappointed. For the price, I expected something much more impressive. I wouldn't rush to come back unless there were major changes or I heard things improved.
