    Original Chicken Yakisoba

Always a pleasure to dine here. Lovely ladies work here who makes us feel like we are in Japan. Food is tasty and narutotai is always delicious. They open til late so come check this place out. New menu of yakisoba was so good. Can't wait to try other menu items.

Always incredible!! Super delicious food every time we visit. After finding this place, my partner and I go about once every week or two. It's become a staple in our lives and we tell all our friends about it! Feels like a hidden gem, always cozy and clean. They have an incredibly diverse menu, we tried nearly everything else before even getting to the ramen!! My favorite dish is the pork fried rice, we often get an additional to-go because it's SOO delicious. The food is consistent and fresh without fail. We often come here for comfort meals. Our main reason for coming back so often though, is the primary server, Chi. She is so wonderful and always provides the best service. She takes so much pride and care of the guest, that we thought she was the owner for a while. Come to find out, she is just a server that loves her job and strives to give the best experience. We heart you Chi!!!! Recommendations are the pork fried rice, takoyaki (well done), and the sake jelly shot (mixed berry is my go to)!

Wow... what a wild experience! Service is an absolute 10/10. The server was attentive and nice. Since it was absolutely empty, I appreciate the server making an effort to keep the space clean by actively cleaning. THE FOOD... I'm sad to say a strong 0/10. As passionate supporters of Izakaya Go (whose quality has unfortunately gone down this year anyway) this absolutely broke our hearts. We used to go to Izakaya Go atleast once a week but it seems that their whole sisters of spots have gone down down down down down (dooooooown). The ramen- WHY DOES THE BROTH TASTE LIKE A PLASTIC BAG? And the meat was like cured pork but just the fat. Absolutely atrocious broth tho fr, it was like melted plastic with some sort of fake meat juice. Sad to say, the small sip of ramen broth we tried was so bad we had to excuse ourselves out. The salmon - bro look at the picture attached. It's basically gray. We could not even touch it out of fear. Brothless ramen- honestly after a taste of that ramen broth, I could not do it. This was a heartbreaking experience. I hope they can find a way to save themselves because we used to be real supporters and even took hella people to try Izakaya Go. Until then, we're off of them. Sadly!!! Even the water was nasty.

pork and chicken fried rice, spider and California roll, spicy takoyaki, yellowtail carpaccio, truffle edamame, gyoza, and miso soup

This has become a staple for me and my girlfriend, we started dating because of Chi and something she said to us made us realize we were meant for eachother. It is now "our spot" and every time we go everything is perfect. We love everything on the menu but our favorite part of every visit is seeing Chi!

I had a rough day and decided to treat myself to a ramen date. I would like to say this place is a gem!!!!! I got the Tonkotsu Miso ramen and it was so good. They were so fast with my order and so polite and kind, and honestly the $$ was very reasonable. I can't wait to go back, that first bite made me never want to have any other ramen again.

In all honesty, we didn't know Ramen Show 2 existed on Spring Mountain until the Ramen Show on Rainbow closed down a few years ago. They had mentioned that this location also had handrolls, which was what had initially brought us to the Ramen Show on Rainbow. (I do believe they used to go by another name before - Takopa, and it specialized more in Japanese street eats.) Tucked away in a corner in Chinatown Plaza and hidden behind some stairs, Ramen Show 2 can easily be missed amongst the AYCE restaurants neighboring it. We've been fortunate to never have to wait when we showed up for a bite to eat - even on Christmas night! Despite having ramen in its name, we actually rarely order any ramen when it's the Husband and I dining. Sometimes, the Little Guy will order a bowl of ramen for himself but the rest of us like to enjoy the shared bites. Some of our favorites: * Show Style Spicy Cold Tofu $4.95 - The Husband just loves the leaf mustard, spices, and other toppings on this simple dish. * Tako Wasabi $3.95 * Gyoza $6.95 - The Little Guy loves his gyoza, so that's always a given when we come here. * Grilled Pork Belly $6.95 * Shishito Peppers $4.95 * Grilled Salmon Collar or Belly $6.95 - Very generous. Order some steamed rice to go with it. * Grilled Yellowtail Collar $12.95 * Agadashi Tofu $5.95 * Soft Shell Crab $7.95 - They do a very light batter here and it's just lovely. We often get two. * Handrolls - Ranging from $3.75 to $4.95, we'll often get a few of these - Salmon Skin, Scallop, Ikura, Salmon & Ikura, Spicy Tuna, Salmon, and Soft Shell Crab * Sashimi Bowl $16.95 * Mitarashi Dango $4.95 One of things we really appreciate it that the prices haven't changed a whole lot in the past few years. We noticed most restaurants have increased their prices every year, sometimes even multiple times throughout the year. But Ramen Show 2 has been a steady ride. You can get some great grub without feeling like your broke the bank. There's one large table near the front, counter seating to watch the cooks at work, and a handful of 2 and 4 tops. Service is always efficient and pleasant. Ramen Show 2 will definitely remain in rotation when we're craving handrolls or some quick bites.

The ambiance and service was great. Very similar to (I believe) their sister restaurant, Izakaya Go. Unfortunately the food was very disappointing. The curry fries came out fresh, but didn't have much of a curry taste in my opinion. Wish they weren't crinkle cut fries, especially for ~$8. Scallop carpaccio was good for the price but lacked in flavor (~$13). It was the ramen that was the most disappointing. The Show Black (~$16) broth lacked depth and flavor. It felt like they didn't simmer the meat long enough to bring out any rich flavors. Also felt like they may have used jarred minced garlic because the garlic wasn't very strong at all. The noodles almost tasted like Chinese thin egg noodles. Had really high hopes for this place, hope it was just an off day that we came.

It has the score it has for good reason. Service was excellent and the noodles were perfect. We also had dumplings which were nothing necessarily special but just right. Very dependable. Ambiance was perfect, it's quiet but music is loud enough to feel good having a conversation.

That ramen craving hit and I wanted to try a new place, so I hit the Google and found this place, lots of good reviews on Yelp. We did not make a reservation, although you can online, because it was Monday before 6pm. We parked and walked in and were given a table right away. Shockingly, most of the tables were taken, either early bird dinner eaters like us or really late lunch-ers. The atmosphere in here is great. Very traditional izakaya vibes going on with the wood, the seating and the general décor. It smells nice in here and there isn't too much clutter around. The menu was slightly different than the menu online, which made me a bit worried. My husband doesn't eat pork and I have to ensure we go to ramen places that have non-pork alternatives. Luckily, they do have chicken base, it's just different from the online one. My husbands chicken yuzu ramen was excellent. 5 stars for that one. My tonkotsu miso ramen was...interesting. It wasn't bad per se but there was a weird off taste that I wasn't familiar with, even though this is my fave type of ramen. The broth was eh. The chashu was extremely weird because it tasted like Chinese BBQ char siu. I didn't like the veg or the egg either. We opted for spicy karaage and I also wasn't too impressed with this. I know Japanese isn't a typical "spicy" cuisine, but there are other nice hot sauces that can be used other than the one that this place (and quite a few others) have been using. Great pricing though, so I would come back for a second chance. The chicken ramen is worth coming back in as well.

Plain but filling Ramen had a bit of a bland flavor, which was weird given that it was a curry that was supposed to have a bit of a kick. The rice looked pretty unappetizing with the stick of butter just randomly placed on, but was otherwise pretty standard. If it wasn't for the place being open late, I probably wouldn't have come, and I still would probably go to another place for my ramen cravings in the future.

Tried Japanese ramen and ordered a spicy vegan ramen at this small little Ramen store in Las Vegas. There was a full house when we stepped in here for dinner time. The lady at the front was nice and got us seated ASAP. Overall the vibes made me feel like I was in Japan. The portion size though is huge so come hungry! My spicy Vegas ramen had so many ingredients inside that I couldn't believe it fitted in the bowl. I like the soup base itself but overall I didn't finish my bowl just because it was stuffed with a lot of tasty vegetables. For the price and amount, I think this place is a deal! They do sell regular ramen and sashimi too!

Saw the menu and thought it would be perfect to grab a couple of dishes to share. We started with the caviar buns. While the chicken was crispy, it was slightly dry, and the flavor completely overpowered the delicate caviar, making it difficult to appreciate what should have been the star ingredient. It totally did not worth the piece. The pork belly buns were also a little disappointing as the pork lacked the tenderness and juiciness I was hoping for. The ginger and scallion noodles with shrimp had a nice al dente texture, and the shrimp were the highlight as it was well prepared and flavorful. However, the overall seasoning felt a bit underwhelming, and the dish could have used a stronger depth of flavor. The standout dish of the night was definitely the rice cakes. They had a great contrast of textures, with a lightly fried exterior and a wonderfully chewy interior. The sauce was well-balanced, with just the right amount of spice and sweetness without becoming overpowering. Overall, there were some enjoyable elements, especially the rice cakes and shrimp, but a few of the signature items fell short of expectations given the price point.
