We were recommended this place and it heard it was good, but unfortunately in the parking lot of this area people broke into our rental car. They had stolen our important documents and bags. We told the management of this restaurant for camera/security footage of what happened and essentially told us to deal with it ourselves. They knew the security camera was broken for weeks and did not put any effort into putting adequate lighting in their parking lot. Keep in mind, this was not late at night and they did not put effort into upkeep of the security of this place. FOR TOURISTS: Be aware of this place.
The service was quick. We got ramen and fried rice. The fried rice was authentic and really good! The ramen was little too salty for me, but had a good taste. The price was reasonable.
Just another great ramen shop in LV. Ramen Sora and Monte Ramen are our favorites. Sora ramen has been here for as long as I can remember and the food quality is consistently excellent. I've been here all time so the day and have never had to wait. I highly recommended the Ma-Yu Ramen (black garlic ramen) for the taste of the broth.
I've been to Ramen Sora before and even wrote a previous review where I gave them five stars -- and I still stand by that experience. Because of how great our last visit was, my family and I went back today expecting the same hospitality, kindness, and service. Unfortunately, it's a bit heartbreaking to say that this time just didn't live up to what we experienced before. Our waitress today came off a bit rude, and the service overall just wasn't there. It felt like we were more of an annoyance than welcomed guests, which made the whole experience feel a little weird and awkward. While she was going back and forth between tables, we overheard her having a conversation with a coworker in Thai. Realizing she was Thai, my dad -- who is also Thai -- spoke up to let her know he could understand as well. After that, her attitude seemed to change, but by then we were already getting ready to leave. On a positive note, the food was still super yummy and delicious -- just as good as we remembered. The quality and flavor definitely remain consistent, and that's what makes this experience even more disappointing because we truly wished the service matched how amazing the food was. I would still recommend this spot to anyone wanting to try it, especially for the food alone. I'm hoping to come back again in the future and be able to update this review with a better overall experience.
Ramen sora is a great, cozy spot for inexpensive yet delicious ramen. I love their gyoza, and their spicy miso ramen is yummy. Servers are very nice and attentive. My friend and I came here on a Sunday evening, there was a wait list but we didn't have to wait more than 10 minutes. We got food to go as well. We were both happily surprised with how much our totals came out to be. Love their prices and the food is tasty. Definitely will be coming back!
I have been wanting to try this place because I've heard so many great things. I was a little disappointed to find there was no options on protein only pork belly. I ended up just getting the miso basic ramen with no meat. The flavor was pretty good but I wished for tofu or maybe chicken to be added. My Boyfriend tried the Gyoza and said they were decent. I don't recommend ordering the Iced Green Tea because it tastes like water, and when you try to sweeten it, it becomes sugar water. The service was good. Everything came out quickly and I was able to switch out my drink for a sprite.
Whenever I'm in town, this spot is always a must-stop for my family and me! We took an Uber from our hotel, and thankfully, the wait wasn't too bad this time around. This place has never disappointed us, and tonight was no exception! The broth was rich and full of flavor, and the noodles tasted freshly made--comfort food at its best. The service was fast, friendly, and attentive, even with a full house, which made the experience even better. I had the ramen and fried rice, and both were absolutely delicious! If you're in the area and craving something warm, flavorful, and satisfying, this place is a definite must-try.
This is one of my all time favorite spots for chashu bowls. My boyfriend and I always pick this spot for a quick and delicious bite to eat. The prices are incredibly reasonable and the portions are perfect. I always have great food and even better service. All of the staff are incredibly friendly, and I have never had a bad meal here! Will definitely be back soon for more grub!
Finally tried this ramen spot that people have been telling me about. It is cheaper than other places and the portions were a good size. I ordered the black garlic and my boyfriend ordered the no.1 with everything. I really liked mine with a lot of garlic flavor. I do wish it came with more broth. The noodles are cooked al dente too which I liked cause it does soften while you eat it. The staff were very nice and patient. They explained the menu well too. The restaurant is small with about 7-8 tables with a long counter top in the middle. The food came out so quick in about 5 min I was guessing. We ate there for about 20 min.
Recommended by friends of Reddit, Ramen Sora did not disappoint. I'm on another extended Vegas trip and decided to do a ramen tour. I had Ramen Sora first and the subsequent places I've been to just seem to be bad and worse. Ramen Sora is my favorite so far. You can tell their noodles are handmade and it's thick with a good bite, just the way I like it. I got the Killer Spicy Umami. The broth and noodles mentioned earlier were fantastic. A few gripes is that it's just a medium spice (less heat than cayenne pepper). With the name killer spicy, I'd like to at least break a sweat. Second, they don't do Kaedama, so plan accordingly. You can opt for a "Large" which is 50% more noodles or "Super" for double noodles. I got the large and there were still less noodles than the normal size of other places I've been to. Otherwise, I love the ambiance, it's in a tiny standalone building with its own small parking lot. When I arrived, there was a waitlist with several parties ahead of me but since I was one person, my table was ready almost immediately since I got to sit at the large shared table. Quick service and no fuss. I was in and out in 30 mins.
Every time my wife and I are in Vegas, we go to Sora Ramen. Their prices are super affordable and the food is delicious. I always get a Spicy Umami Ramen, and my wife gets the Corn Butter Ramen. She also always gets a small curry bowl which is simple but wonderful. One of our favorite spots, we'll keep coming back!
A small ramen shop in Chinatown. We tried most of their ramens and their broths were yummy but kind of on the fattier and creamier side. I liked the cream but it was a little salty. The bowl was kind of small. It could use more meat. But overall the taste was there. Service was fast, staff were nice.

Staff is very helpful! They really give you options and and very patient. They are very attentive when your drink is running low they bring more if it's free refill if it's not they. Their food is always fresh and delicious... If you do get super spicy, it really is really spicy... The place is always clean and organized however, I can't tell they need to upgrade something but for the most part it's always clean read more

We came to Ramen Sora based on a Yelp Elite recommendation, and when you first pull up, it definitely gives you that little hole-in-the-wall vibe. But honestly, sometimes that makes you think, "Okay... if it looks like this, the food MUST be bomb." And thankfully, it was! When we first walked in, we checked ourselves in through the Yelp waitlist, but nobody greeted us or explained what to do. As first-timers, that was a little off-putting because we weren't even sure if we had checked in correctly. Eventually we were seated, though, and once someone attended to us, everything moved pretty quickly. We ordered the spicy umami ramen, garlic edamame, and nigori sake. For our son, we ordered the veggie ramen but asked if they could make it super simple with just the noodles, broth, and corn because he is VERY picky. They were totally accommodating, which we really appreciated. Now THE RAMEN. My first bite was honestly like, "Okay, this isn't bad." But then I kept eating it...and the flavor just kept opening up. Then we took a sip of the nigori sake, went back to the ramen, and OMG. It completely changed the experience. The spice was SO GOOD. It's the kind that catches you in the back of your throat before it even hits your tongue. It might have you coughing for a second, but somehow you're coughing while immediately going back in for another bite because YOU CAN'T STOP EATING IT. The flavor just builds and builds. So good! And the biggest win? OUR SON ATE HIS RAMEN. He actually really enjoyed it, which is huge for us because now ramen officially goes on the list of foods we can all go out and eat as a family! As far as atmosphere, this isn't really a fancy date-night spot. It's more of a casual ramen joint where I'd come with family, friends, or coworkers when I just want some really good food. The only thing keeping this from five stars for me was the service experience. Not being greeted or told how the waitlist worked was confusing as a first-time customer, and there wasn't much checking back once we had our food. If that doesn't matter to you, then honestly, you're good to go because THE FOOD DELIVERS. Overall, four stars and definitely recommended. Come for the ramen, don't expect a whole meet-and-greet situation , and prepare yourself for that spicy umami because it was BOMB. read more

You're here for a review and I'm here to give you one, a nice whole in the wall spot found deep near Shanghai Plaza! You want ramen for a fair price and a very good portion? Come to this spot, the pork was a very good fatty with a nice umami flavor highkey I wanna go back. Service was pretty good considering we went during a Friday night and we got water refills even when the place was packed. Reserve your spot early though it was maybe a 10 to 20 mins wait on Friday night keep that in mind when you come! The only reason for 4 stars is just my pickyness on ramen, I like ramen super duper hot so if you're a spice lover don't come expecting a super spice filled dish it's a nice spice that'll have you sweating with a tingle in your throat? Generous portions, rich and flavorful broth, perfectly cooked noodles with just the right bite, and a solid variety of options make this a must-visit spot when in Vegas. Food (5/5): this was my first time trying Ramen Sora and it was one of the best ramen places I've had in Las Vegas! I had the spicy umami ramen (2 star spice level) and it was just the right amount of heat and food for me. The broth was very flavorful and the toppings were very umami, especially at a good price point too. Service (5/5): we had a party of about 9 people and the service was incredibly fast and friendly. Our food came out in just a few minutes, even when we came around a busier lunch time. Their ramen is so flavorful and tastes really clean. The portion is good, just enough to get you satisfied. I always get the corn butter ramen; the butter in it sounds strange, but I promise it adds good flavor in it! Their japanese curry here is also really tasty as well! This is my favorite place to go to whenever i'm in vegas. It's very close to the strip. It's small inside, so when it gets busy, you may have to wait a bit. Best ramen in Las Vegas followed by the kindest staff in Nevada. I came for dinner and was seated right away. They had the basketball game on so I could watch while I ordered. A colleague of mine recommended this location specifically. He wasn't wrong! I order the edamame which came out quickly but was a little smaller than I expected. Exactly enough for one person. It was a little over cooked. I ordered the spicy ramen with shoyu broth. I also ordered a can of starry soda. I respect a location which overs Pepsi products. They brought out the can and a glass of ice. The spicy ramen was delivered in 5-10 mins. It was incredible! The spicy is just enough for someone who is starting to try spicy and wants to tip toe in. If you're looking for a very spicy dish, you may need to add some toppings to jazz it up. The meats were very tender and not over cooked. I ordered the large and that felt like a reasonable portion for dinner. Looking at other tables, regular appears small. The team cleared my bowl the moment I finished and brought the check. I appreciate the digital checkout to make the whole process quick at the table. I took a photo of the menu on the way out and the team offered a set of chop sticks and shared the QR code on it offers their menu and also their sister location. Great experience! As someone who is very particular about ramen this is easily my favorite ramen that i've ever had. I ordered the spicy miso ramen with seaweed and black garlic oil and the broth was very flavorful and the noodles were fresh. there was a good portion of meat as well. i also ordered the gyoza and it was very flavorful. i will definitely be coming back. read more
As a vegas local, probably one of the best ramen spots around. I will say.. be prepared to wait 15-30 minutes but the food is so worth it. We were a party of five so we ordered a few things. We ordered the chashu rice which was one of my favorite bowls. A regular fried rice which was so flavorful with little pieces of green onion, beef, and egg. We also ordered a curry rice bowl. The person ordering it said that the recipe may have been changed but it was still yummy. As for the ramen, we ordered the Ma-Yu (black garlic oil) and Nori (seaweed) ramen. Both were so flavorful and fulling. Favorite of the night was definitely the chashu rice bowl and the Ma-Yu ramen! If you're in town stop by for a nice filling bowl! read more
Small no frills ramen shop. Mini curry bowl - rice was so hard and meat in it was dry. Husband had the nori ramen and I had the spicy umami. Broth and meat were good in both, but the noodles were so thick and extra Al dente and broken up into short strands and not longer strands. The bowls come with a slice of meat and 1/2 an egg. No bamboo shoots, etc. everything is additional. We came at 3:45pm on a Saturday and there was no wait. read more

Had my first somewhat mediocre experience at Ramen Sora today. Been here multiple times and the Ramen is always pretty on point. The inside ambience is very on theme with Japanese artwork also up. I arrived around 12:30p and checked into the Yelp waiting queue as dining as one with a request for a table. I quickly noticed that other groups got seated before me. Even a couple arriving and checking into the iPad at 12:45p was seated before I got seated at 1:08p. The Ramen was solid, as always. Love the bamboo shoots and fresh chopped scallions. My only gripe is that once again price increased as their Deluxe Sora Ramen is now $15.30! Customer service overall is on point. They were quick to take my order and my food came out in less than 10 minutes. Ramen makes me thirsty since it is salty, so I appreciate that they kept my water cup full. read more

Had about a 10-15 min wait but was seated promptly and orders were taken. The place was busy on a Fri night in Chinatown. Went with my fiancé and 2 friends. Ordered the veggie ramen. Ramen is definitely meant to be eaten fresh and not for takeout. Tasted so good and would go back again! read more

One of the best Ramen Places in Vegas. I found out about this place because of Hachi (Sister Restaurant) . They had business cards, and I realized that some of the restaurants was actually in San Diego and not in Las Vegas. If you want Ramen, look no further. If you want a Delicious Cha-Shu Bowl, look no further. The place isn't that big, but it has its own parking lot. You have to look where the entrance is, as it is a bit hidden. I liked that there was a Yelp Waitlist, but just note that even with Waitlist it may take a bit of time to get seated, as they seat as people leave. So if people are taking a while, unfortunately, the wait will be longer. One more note is that the gentleman that took our order was super friendly and helpful to get our order down. We tried the Mini Curry bowl, Cha-Siu Bowl, Otsumami Platter, Spicy Ramen, and the Chashu Ramen. Keep in mind that you can order larger portions of Noodles (I thought it was thicker noodles), and depending on which ramen you choose, you can still choose your broth style. They have Miso, Shio, and Shoyu. Spicy Ramen Miso hands down, so good. Cha-Siu inside just melts, the Ramen was perfect texture, and broth was delicious. The Otsumami Platter is a no brainer, and a real deal. Seared Chashu wasn't like the bowl with the fatty on it, even though it was more lean meat, it was tender and packed with flavor. Gotta come back next time I am in Vegas. This place, just like Hachi is now a must stop place. Wished there was more places like this in LA. Until next time! read more
Great welcome and service by what seemed to be Japanese people! Hard to find Japanese places with Japanese people working, gives it a more authentic feel to me. The original ramen comes your choice of broth: miso, shio or shoyu flavored. I went for the miso and was glad I did. Great unique flavor that I couldn't quite place the flavors. I ate a lot of bowls of ramen in Japan, but none had this flavor. But soo good! I drank every drop of the broth and think I shocked the server when he took my bowl away. LOL Ramen comes with a super tender piece of pork, crisp yet tender menma (marinated bamboo shoots) and medium thickness noodles with a great bite and chew to them. Cooked perfectly too. Next time I will add a side of lightly cooked bean sprouts to give it some additional crunch. Egg was cooked a bit more than I like, but I'll easily overlook that as everything else was soo good! Will definitely be back, maybe as soon as tomorrow! My mouth is watering for another bowl as I write this... read more

Far as chill environment yes far as in regards to diet they don't have options specifically.so depending on what your friend likes or depending spice level sugars id take a look at menu options. Very good ramen place though

No. They just recently got a vegetarian broth, though.

No. Coming here with a vegetarian/vegan is problematic.
