Beef Bulgogi
Monique W.

After grabbing drinks at Molly Tea, my husband and I ended up stopping by Ramen Tatsu for dinner! It's also conveniently located near China Mama, so the whole area has a great food scene if you're exploring Chinatown! When we first went inside the restaurant, we noticed that there was plenty of open tables and booth seating available. A team member provided us waters and the menu. Ramen Tatsu has a wide range of options on their menus Rice & Bowls: Katsu Curry, Beef Bowl, Fried Rice, Chasiu Bowl Side Dishes: Gyoza, Karaage, Takoyaki and more! Ramen: Spicy Miso, Tonkotsu Shoyu, Shio, Veggie, Chicken Paitan and more! For an appetizer, my husband and I split the Gyoza. It was good. For an entrée, I ended up ordering the beef bulgogi, and it was excellent. The beef was super flavorful, tender, and cooked really well! It was a perfect sweet and savory balance you want from bulgogi! My husband went with one of the ramen bowls, and it looked amazing too! The broth smelled rich and comforting, and from what he said, the flavor definitely delivered! The service was amazing! Everyone was super friendly, attentive, and welcoming! The food also came out pretty quickly too! Ramen Tatsu ended up being a great dinner stop. Delicious food, fantastic service, and an amazing atmosphere. I'd stop by here again for a ramen bowl!

GYOZA

Definitely a hole in the wall ramen spot. Very cozy with a cute Japanese theme. Service is friendly and fast. The curry ramen I ordered seemed a bit on the smaller side and not as thick as I would have anticipated, though it was reasonably priced at only $13! Gyoza was hot and had a nice sear on the bottom.

Great and Authentic Japanese food! And affordable price! Come one come all! It is certainly a local favorite

Smaller restaurant with about 9 tables or so. Service was friendly, and it wasn't busy at all on a Tuesday around lunchtime. The takoyaki had a nice crisp to it; they seem on the smaller side, and there could've been a little more filling. I got the tonkatsu shoyu, and it was okay. The broth was a little bland the first few bites but then got a little too salty. The pork was tender but didn't have a lot of flavor. I added an egg, but it was overcooked, so that was disappointing.

Shoyu Ramen

We walked in and waited to be acknowledged. Some lady sitting at a booth ended up grabbing us some menus and telling us to sit down. Ok, odd. We ordered our ramen, Shoyu and a Deluxe. They came out at a decent time given they were a bit busy. What was odd is the same lady, who was eating at that booth, got up and brought our food to us. Yeah how about no to that one. For the Shoyu, $11.99 you get some broth, noodles, green onions, half a hard boiled egg and three pieces of pork. The quality of broth and noodles seemed a bit light for the cost The real concern came to flavor, or really the lack of any. My wife's also lacked flavor and she said mine was bland as well. Very disappointed as we were looking forward to some ramen. This is a one and done for sure.

This is one of my favorite ramen spots in Las Vegas, and firmly ranks among my top five ramen shops in the city. Expect tasty, satisfying ramen that won't break the bank. They serve authentic Japanese ramen and are family-owned and operated by a husband-and-wife team from Japan, with consistently top-notch quality and service. The ramen is also a bit more affordable than most places in the valley, which is a nice bonus. For starters, I tried the Seaweed Soup, which was piping hot and tasty, and the House Salad, with a ginger dressing made in-house that I absolutely loved! I also had the Tonkotsu ramen, while my friend ordered the Spicy Miso, which I also sampled. Both broths were flavorful, and not overly salty, but fair warning: even the medium spice level of the spicy ramen is extremely spicy!! The shop is small and cozy and tends to get busy, with only a few tables and limited parking; it is located within one of the busiest complexes in Chinatown, and arguably in all of Las Vegas, so plan accordingly! That said, it's truly a hidden gem, and well worth the visit.

Stumbled into this place after my original lunch spot was closed. The service was genuinely nice and polite right from the start. I got excited when I saw you could pick your spice level, so I went with jigoku entry and yeah... it delivered! But honestly, I really wanted to like the food more than I did. The broth felt like it was lacking in flavor for me and karaage was also on the bland side... If I had to highlight something it would be the tsukemen, not the best I've ever had but it has stronger flavor compared to the other dishes I tried.

SPICY MISO Ramen

I've been wanting to come here for a few years but every time I decided to go, it was during busy time; which means lack of parking. I finally got to come here on a weekday, right at opening time. It was just me there and I had the best service. I spoke with the server and the cooks. They were really nice and suggested the spicy ramen as their more popular item. Boy were the right! The broth was amazing and the thick noodles hit the spot. I took home the half that I couldn't finish and my daughter said it was the best ramen she's ever had. I'm planning on taking her this weekend so she can experience it fresh and hot in person.

First time here and noticed that the entire staff at least appeared to be Japanese! We figured the food would be authentic and tried the Shio Ramen with medium spice (extra $1.50 for the spice), fried rice, tonkatsu, and takowasa. The flavor profile in everything was amazing! The spicy shio ramen had the comfy-warm-soup-for-the-cold-weather vibes, and I loved how chewy the noodles were. I'm not a huge fan of pork but loved their tonkatsu! It was a good balance of lean but not dry. The dressing to the shredded cabbage was so good; I devoured that real fast. The fried rice was yummy and reminded my friend of the fried rice she had in Japan. The portions were on the smaller side, but the meal was definitely high in quality. The servers were super friendly and checked on us multiple times throughout the night! They were also really nice about letting us switch tables when we wanted to move to the booth. I'd definitely recommend this place.

Having lived in Japan for 12 years and then coming back to the States, that hard craving for authentic Japanese food is real--and honestly, it's wild how difficult it is to find a ramen shop that truly hits the spot. We've tried so many places, and Ramen Tatsu is one of the few that really stands out. Once we found out the owner is Okinawan, we already had high hopes--and wow, they did not disappoint. The ramen is packed with flavor and genuinely takes me right back to our days living in Japan. Every bite feels comforting and familiar. The beef bowl is a huge family favorite, the fried rice is always satisfying, and the takoyaki balls are consistently made to perfection--crispy on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside. The only reason I'm giving Ramen Tatsu a 4 instead of a 5 is due to some inconsistency during our last few visits. It felt like there wasn't as much heart put into the food as usual. Our ramen and fried rice came out a bit oilier than normal. I'm not sure if it was a new or different chef, or just someone having an off day (or days), but the consistency hasn't quite been there recently. That being said, we will always stay loyal to this shop. Our family truly enjoys the food, and coming here makes us feel like we're back home in Japan--and that feeling alone means so much to us.

Cute displays all over the restaurant of Japanese food stalls

This place is a gem hidden inside a small but busy strip mall. Tiny and very cute and cozy.Prices are very good. They were also very nice and allowed us to sub some of the toppings. Ramen was chewy the way I like it. The broth was flavorful and rich. The egg was perfectly seasoned and jammy. Be warned that "mild" turned out to be still pretty spicy.

Tonkatsu

Ramen Tatsu Big size bowl of Ramen. Small local business with a great vibe and atmosphere. Tonkatsu Ramen was excellent and a gut puncher with the generous amount of food! Potstickers are a nice compliment to the Ramen and would highly recommend along the Karrage chicken. Add in a variety of items with your Ramen to enhance your bowl. Highly recommend this restaurant

Ramen Tatsu is hidden in an extremely busy plaza, but it had amazing reviews, so we decided to stop in while in the area for a quick date night. The biggest issue of our night was finding a parking space, but we were seated right away when we finally made it in. I don't know if I set the standards for this place too high, but unfortunately, I was not a huge fan. I started off with the Takoyaki appetizer, one of my favorites. They were good, nothing too crazy that you can say about a Takoyaki, unless it's overcooked, old seafood, etc. I opted to try their shoyu ramen, added some corn. My husband tried their Miso ramen, added egg. Typically, I love a shoyu broth for my ramen, but Tatsu's broth did not hit the spot for me. It tasted oily, the pork was seared but didn't really add any depth of flavor to my dish, and the broth just lacked that simmering flavor I expect with a ramen. My husband whose favorite is a miso broth, did enjoy his and he was able to finish his dish without any issues. His miso looked really flavorful, but he said his pork also didn't add a lot of taste to his ramen. The service was quick, and it was good, the location was not busy for it being a weekend. You have to ask for any chili oils, soy sauces, etc. if you wanted those on the side since our tables only had their drinking menus to browse while you waited. The price you pay for the bowl or ramen you receive is not bad, though. Maybe there are different broths I should try, but sadly for me, Ramen Tatsu is nothing I would run back to.

Ramen Tatsu Reviews in Other Languages

Ask the Community - Ramen Tatsu

Do you have Hiyashi chyuka?

Yes, but only in the summer season. Usually from late May or early June until about early October. They have several different sauces, shoyu, yuzu, and sesame, and a spicy variant of each.

Do you take reservations or how to get on a waitlist?

They are taking reservations more than 5people

Which casino are you closer too? Are you close to Las Vegas strip?

We’re about 3 miles west of the strip near Spring Mountain and Jones Blvd. I guess the closest Casino would be Mirage, Palazzo, Wynn and also Fashion Show Mall since they’re all located on Spring Mountain/Las Vegas Blvd intersection

I tried to order takeout, is your number disconnected? It rings and then says this number is disconnected

Our phone works. We have been getting calls today. The number is 702-629-7777

Is there a non-pork base tsukemen available here?

Yes:)

Hi. Is the curry made using any beef or beef broth?

Yes we do cook with beef. The broth is predominantly chicken, but it does include beef as well.

Do they have a spicy tonkatsu offering?

You can make any ramen spicy(additional charge), they also have chili oil available with the table condiments.

Do Tatsu have vegan options?

Tatsu has some vegan options, such as a Veggie Ramen broth that is vegan.

Do we need reservations?

No reservations are not necessary.

Is there a vegetarian option? I saw that there's a "veggie" choice on the menu but a finger is covering the description. I mean strictly vegetarian - dairy is OK but no fish, chicken, pork, or beef broth/ingredients in the ramen. Thanks!

Hello. I’m sorry for the late response. We do have veggie ramen available.

Any vegetarian ramen options?

Yep! And it's actually pretty good!

Do they use msg in their ramen?

We do put msg in our ramen, but you can ask for no msg... miso, spicy miso, and curry already have msg in them.

We missed happy hour by one hour. Ordered the Hakata Tonkatsu DX, Chicken Paitan DX, and Chicken Karaage. I originally ordered the Hakata Tonkatsu without the DX but they made it as a DX and brought it to me and asked me if I wanted it and would still only charge me for original one I ordered. This was very nice of them. You can choose your spiciness, but my party agreed that they are conservative with the spice. I ordered mines mild but didn't taste any spice at all (I don't like spicy.) The Chicken Paitan is limited daily and by the time we got there for dinner they only had 2 left, so we claimed one. All in all, I enjoyed my experience here. Their ramen taste like typical ramen, nothing too special. I would come back here for their happy hour (2-5 pm daily) to try other things!

Great, if you're dining by yourself at one of the bar seating or if you're with a group of friends, they have tables in the back and then I believe they also have outdoor seating from what it looked like. (I was there at night.) I am so grateful for our server. He really was a trooper, we were trying to figure out some of my allergies, and he really went above and beyond to doublecheck things. I got an iced Matcha, and my friend got a non-alcoholic Sapporo. And we both enjoyed our beverages. Prices were pretty reasonable and they do have happy hour and deals throughout the week. For a starter, we ordered the Marufuku bites: Pirikara Chicken. It was the perfect level of spice. The ratio of bun to vegetable to sauce, was really great and we quite enjoyed it. It was a perfect little starter snack while we were waiting for our food. I ordered the Chicken Paitan with spinach noodles and my friend ordered the Hakata Tonkotsu DX ramen. There was a mixup with my noodles and they quickly remade my Ramen with the correct noodles and I really appreciated how swift they were able to do that. From the outside, the bowl looks like it isn't holding that much when in reality when you start eating, you realize that there is a lot in there! My only complaint is that I wish there would've been more chicken. The egg was fantastic and I absolutely loved the spinach noodles. They gave a really good amount of noodles! The broth was fantastic! It was the perfect comfort food. We sat there in complete silence as we happily ate our food. I finished the bowl clean! Overall, it was really great experience and I'm excited to go there again in the future. Especially more in the winter! Sometimes parking can be a little difficult because it does get really packed in that area, so just keep that in mind, especially on weekends at night, you might need to park farther down closer to mothership.

I feel bad for this, but I didn't enjoy the ramen. Back in 2021 - 2022, I would come here often and I remember it being so much better. I got the DIY tonkontsu ramen with extra chashu, bamboo shoots, and black garlic oil. The chashu tasted very plain and had a weird taste like reheated meat??? The broth also fell short on flavor, I think I tasted more of my vegetables being cooked in the broth than the broth itself. Like it wasn't bad, but I also wouldn't necessarily choose to come back for this meal either. I orginally was planning to live this out, but then my friend mentioned it: There was another server working the floor with Tristan, might've been a manager. He wasn't necessarily the friendliest and was really passive agressive. I was talking to my friend and I was telling her I didn't really like my food and that the other place was a lot better; I wasn't whispering, but I also wasn't yelling either. Anyways, the manager/server must've overheard because he checked in on us and was like "Is ramen okay?" and we said the usual, everything is fine, and he said okay good; and then under his breath muttered something like "Yeah, we have the best ramen in town." Also at some point he was yelling on the phone about someone owing him money. I'm not necessarily bothered; but yeah it was strange. Overall, it generally wasn't a bad experience; it was just okay. I wouldn't choose to eat here again.
