I'm honestly surprised this place isn't busier. The food is easily on par with, if not better than, many Chinese restaurants serving similar dishes. We started with the onion pancake and spicy pork wontons. The onion pancake was hands down the best I've had--perfectly crisp around the edges, not greasy or oily, and full of flavor. We then had the Beef Brisket Noodle Soup, Beef Shank Noodle Soup, and Dan Dan Noodles, and everything was delicious. The portions were generous, and you can really taste the freshness in every dish. The service was also excellent. The two ladies who helped us were incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful, which made the experience even better. I was so hungry when my Beef Brisket Noodle Soup arrived that I completely forgot to take a photo until I had already eaten most of the beef! Definitely a place I'd come back to--and one I think more people need to discover. read more

Super solid place for noodles, spicy wontons, and more! I came here with roughly 10 of my friends and the restaurant was very accommodating and inviting. Our waitress was extremely nice as well and gave several great recommendations to our group. I got the Szechuan beef brisket noodles and everything about it was hands down one of the best bowls of noodles I've ever had! The brisket was oh so tender and the noodles were very al dente. You can really tell that they're freshly made because the texture isn't super soft or stringy. The broth was bursting with flavor depth that cannot be replicated by a regular cook. Only an elite master of their craft can make a broth this good! I can still taste the broth as I'm writing this review and the beef was so succulent and juicy. It really retains and soaks up the broth well! read more

Still tasty, but strangely the Szechuan Beef Brisket Noodle Bowl we ordered didn't seem any spicier than the regular Beef Brisket Noodle! We'd have questioned our server except it'd already taken a surprisingly long time to get our food in the first place and we didn't wish to wait any longer to eat. The restaurant was clean and spacious, and about one-third occupied when we arrived, but filled up very quickly. I'm guessing our order got mixed up in the ensuing rush! read more

We came here waking up after EDC Day 3. All the places we tried were packed so we were glad to have found Noodlehead. It was such a gem find. The food was fantastic and reasonably priced. We got a fried rice and noodle soup. It was so delicious and what I needed to replenish. I definitely plan on coming back when I am in town and craving Chinese food( or need a soup dish). The venue is cute and very intimate located in a big plaza with many other businesses. read more

The food was delicious. I had the dry hot noodles with peanut sauce and chili oil...it was fire! My hubby had the Chicken Ranen soup. It was a large bowl and has leftovers. He said it was very good...he even commented, I woukd come back, and we will. The server was good. After our arrival it quickly filled up and she handled it like a pro. Eventually, I believe who are the owners, also stepped in to help. They were all so nice. The place is cute, although it's not that big, everyone was accommodated. It filled up quickly because the food is that good. Oh and they have decent restrooms! read more

Nice chill and very bright atmosphere. Wall are very bare and gray. And the other side is just covered in mirrors. Not much but it does the job. But I came here for the food and not the aesthetic cause I am very hungry and my stomach is growling lol. One oddity with the place being so bare. A robot server came up to us and dropped our drinks to us. Kinda cool. Seen them in a few upscale places. Didn't expect it here. We got the beef brisket (D1) and (D2) and asked for mild. They may look and sound the same but they have 2 distinct tastes due to the meat used. D2 was beefier and D1 had more of a kick. For the appetizer we got the Crispy Satay Tofu. Let me say this. If you enjoy tofu and you enjoy spring rolls (the one with the white clear wrap) you will at least hopefully enjoy this. It's basically crispy sliced tofu and stuffed with similar things you would find in a spring roll and topped with a peanut top and chunks. At the end of the day. The food is a 5 stars so far based on what I had. Update as I try more dishes read more

Very few customers when we arrived at 6pm, but it quickly filled up. Took 25 minutes for our two bowls of beef noodle soup to come out, unusually long in my book. I tried the non-spicy version and it was very good with a deep beef flavor in the broth and melt in your mouth chunks of beef brisket. Five stars for sure, just wish the service was faster. Located in Spring Mountain Center, across Jones Boulevard from Amador and China Mama, Noodlehead has quietly been earning a reputation thanks to handmade Noodles and Asian small plates offered at bargain prices with exemplary customer service. Offered at a range of spice-levels, Malaysian Curry using Coconut Milk to keep Chilies in check, Dan Dan Noodles come tingly but not fiery in a huge bowl for just $10.95 while similarly priced Chow Mein performs well for more timid palates. Adding Chinese Beef Rolls that come densely packed with Meat, or faultless Scallion Pancakes for those seeking something lighter, Yibin Burning Noodle are a worthy "signature" from the Chef's home town that adds Pickled Vegetables and Peanuts to the mix. Open for lunch and dinner daily Noodlehead also offers exceptional Vegetarian options such as Black Fungus and Cucumber Salad or Crispy Satay Tofu across a diverse menu from which almost anyone can find something to suit their tastes. read more

I wanted to try out a new noodle place other than the popular spots in town. I walked in at 6pm and noticed there was not a single other customer. Even so, i wanted to be optimistic. Back again, their noodles are sooooo good! I had the beef brisket noodles this time. The brisket wasn't very tendoney, it was more meaty. Since they make their noodles daily and they know what they're doing. In my opinion, their noodles rival even some of the crappier so called hand pulled noodle places that are popping up simply because a lot of people think hand pulled noodles should have the consistency of spaghetti pasta and that's really really far from the true consistency of good hand pulled noodles. The robot was on a union break while we were here tonight and the workers actually had to di the serving, but then again, the food came out a whole lot faster. read more

The great thing about Noodlehead was the simplicity. Not only was the location conveniently located in the Chinatown district, the atmosphere was clean, friendly and modern. Ordering was made through our phone and a robot delivered our drinks and meals. The food was very good (we ordered their signature beef noodle soup, fish noodle soup and a chicken chow mein) and were able to receive our food with little wait. Overall, a solid meal that was easy to navigate from a smartphone. read more

Date night in Vegas and you're craving noodles? Head to Chinatown and check out this hidden gem off Jones and Desert Inn in the northwest shopping center. Noodlehead definitely is hidden, tucked away inside a thriving and bustling strip mall, but they have ample parking. We did call ahead for a table, just in case, as it was Saturday night, but it wasn't too crowded when we arrived and we were seated right away! Our waitress was lovely! She asked if it was our first time in and then explained the menu to us - everything is customizable so you don't have to stress about screwing up your order (cough, me, cough) and it being too spicy to eat. We started with shrimp tempura and ordered dan dan noodles and beef brisket noodles. The portions are excellent for the price and the smells will make you drool for days! The hand-pulled noodles are delicious, the broth is outstanding, and the meat was tasty. Overall, we are more than happy with this choice and we will be back to try the chow mein and fried rice! read more

Sunday at noon, we (4) were seated right away and warmly welcomed in. It was our first time trying this place and we were quite excited to see what the menu had to offer! The waitress was very patient and sweet in introducing us to the restaurant. She explained that they specialize in their freshly pulled noodles, which must be made fresh every morning as they don't last well through the night. We ordered: 1. $9.95 Popcorn chicken: 1/5 Taiwanese popcorn chicken (Yan su ji) is usually made with coarse sweet potato starch/potato starch, which gives it that signature crunch and craggly texture. Texture and flavor were definitely lacking and chicken was very bland. Chili powder sprinkled on top did not supplement any flavor either. Considering this was labeled as a "Chef Recommendation" on the menu, this was pretty disappointing. I highly recommend you choose a different appetizer. 2. $13.95 Beef Brisket Noodle: 3/5 3. $13.95 Szechuan Beef Brisket Noodle (substitute with shank): 3.5/5 These were packed with noodles and lots of beef and portion sizing was very surprising considering the price point! We definitely preferred the shank substitute as it was much more tender and juicy. Noodle textures were great and cooked to perfection. We found the soup to be too salty and had too much of a soy sauce taste. I prefer these kind of soups to have a stronger spiced flavor, where you can distinctly tell the different kind of aromatics that are used. I found the medium spice level (2) to be a bit too much for me so I recommend light spice level (1) first and then add in some of their house made chili oil to add some more spice if needed and extra flavor too. Given we only really tried two items from the menu, I don't believe this review is comprehensive or a complete representation of what they have to offer here! I will definitely be back to try their other dishes. read more

Stopped in for a cheap dinner--at just $15 for a big bowl of beef brisket soup, this was a no-brainer! The restaurant Is located in a shopping plaza, next to the 168 Market Asian grocery store, so there is ample parking. (At this time, there is some construction on the north end of the plaza, so you have to enter from Jones or W Desert Inn streets.) There's about 7-10 tables in the restaurant, with one or two bigger, round tables for families. There's not a host stand but the staff is quick to greet you when you walk in. This is an authentic establishment, so the staff does speak mandarin if your English is still beginner level! I ordered the Szechuan beef brisket noodles (D2) with medium level spice--this was definitely spicy enough for me!!! The food came out piping hot and the noodles were perfect. The beef was also really tender and flavorful. I wish there were more bok choy in the soup, but overall this was super delicious and I would come here to order it again! I contemplated giving the place 4 stars because it was very hot in the restaurant. They had several fans and one big fan, but the AC is not very functional in the establishment. Eating hot soup on a hot Vegas day in a very warm room was not the most pleasant thing I've experienced. The staff was very pleasant and apologetic about the heat though and always made sure I had cold, ice water in my cup--so I didn't think I should only give them 4 stars for a mostly minor inconvenience when people might not read my long review to gather the "why" behind the rating. In summary, delicious food, welcoming staff, and won't break the bank if you're looking for authentic food that warms your belly and soul! read more

One of my favorite things about living in Las Vegas is the access to so much amazing Asian food! While I have my favorite spots, I try to get out and try a new spot as often as possible because there are so many left on my ever growing list. Today I opted for Noodlehead as it has been on my Yelp list for quite some time. As it's the 4th of July, the restaurant was pretty empty with only a couple other diners. The space inside is small but can definitely accommodate groups. The one ding against this restaurant is the lack of vegetarian options. Obviously not every restaurant is going to cater to vegetarians, but I've had success at many other places in Chinatown with having a few options to pick from. I was pretty much limited to three dishes, of which only one appealed to me, which was the Tomato & Fried Egg Noodle. Note this is not completely vegetarian as the waitress was kind to ask if I was okay with fish sauce, which I am. I'm not a fan of eggs, so I asked to have that removed and if they could add some extra vegetables in its place. The waitress was very kind and said while she couldn't guarantee, she would ask. I assume they were able to add more veggies as the dish was loaded with yummy roasted tomatoes, broccoli, baby bok choy, and a mystery ingredient that I think may be a mushroom (delicious nonetheless). The broth was very deep and rich, which surprised me as the tomato broth made me concerned it would be a little bland. I did add some chili oil to add a bit of heat as I love spice. The portions here are huge and I ended up taking half of mine to go. My fiancé ordered the spicy wontons and the Szechuan Beef Brisket Noodle, level 1 spice. He's usually sensitive to spice, but said he would get a 2 next time. I couldn't taste his dishes as they were obviously not vegetarian, however he could not stop raving the entire meal about how delicious everything was. It was almost annoying lol! The star for him was the beef noodle soup, he described the broth as being very rich with a deep flavor that is only accomplished by hours of simmering. He said the beef was extremely tender and well seasoned on its own. We've tried a lot of places in Chinatown and around the country and he declared this spot as one of his absolute favorites. For me, it was definitely good and you receive a lot of food for your money, however it wasn't in my top 5. Would I go back and recommend it to others? Absolutely! I just have many more places to try first. So, with that said, I do recommend checking this place out for yourself! read more

Let me tell you about this little hole in the wall, i heard good things about it, but i really didn't know what to expect. That being said the Szechuan Beef Brisket Noodle had my nose running like it was about to get jumped. I was not expecting that, it wasn't extremely spicy, but it had a good flavor to it. The employees were very polite and courteous, including the little random robot they had rolling around dropping off plates. I'm not really into Ramen like that, but it was good eating. I would come back again. read more

Nice quaint restaurant on Spring Mountain and Jones. I have been to a few restaurants in the area and glad we stopped by here. The service was good and the server was very nice. Food: Schezuan Beef Brisket Noodle Soup Popcorn Chicken Crispy Satay Tofu My least favorite would be the tofu. I was not a fan of it, and it could be the sauce used.
