Tried something new other than one by the house .Delivery service was fast. Being 5 miles away and getting the order out and delivered before yelp eta. Food is alright for a quick bite. But nothing to crave for. Orange chicken batter was falling apart so it felt like un cook for some. The sauce was good with the added chillies slices. The shrimp was awesome I like the garnish green onions with that fish sauce taste. I would order that again.

This was my first time trying China Mama and I was really excited. I regret going to the express location. Maybe the restaurant locations on Spring Mountain or Palace Station would have been better. I see a lot of videos on social media. It looked delicious. However, the food was awful. Biggest disappointment was the rice. How do you mess up the white rice? It was old, dark yellow, and hard. Ruined my appetite for the whole meal. The noodles were dry, tasteless, and bad. Crispy beef was hard as a rock. Was really disappointed. Crispy duck was tasteless. We could not finish the food and threw it away. Waste of money. I'm still considering trying the restaurant locations.

Got to try a whole lot from their menu because it is family style dinning and came with 5 other people. Each of us got something different off the menu and shared. The rice and fish soup, Crispy beef, and eggplant were my favorite dishes from the night, I give those a 5. My friends like those and also liked the tofu dish. The sweet shrimp appetizer is delicious too. I could have done without the crispy duck, it was kind of on the dry side to me and the sauce wasn't enhancing its taste. The ambience of the restaurant is very nice on the inside, dim lighting. The parking is tough though because the lot gets very packed at dinner time. The service was wonderful, all the food came out quick, and the waitress was helpful and attentive.

The service was fast! The food looks good! Just picking up! Still gotta try it! Faster than regular China Mama for sure!

If you know, you know. And if you don't, let this be your introduction to China Mama Express--an absolute gem serving some of the most consistently excellent Chinese food in the Valley. The crispy beef is our go-to favorite: always hot, crunchy, never greasy, and packed with flavor. It rivals--and honestly exceeds--versions we've had at upscale restaurants. The wontons in Szechuan chili sauce are a must: tender, perfectly seasoned, and swimming in a rich, spicy broth that hits all the right notes. The stir-fried pork with dried tofu is subtle but deeply satisfying, and the salt & pepper shrimp? Easily some of the best we've ever had--light, crispy, and bursting with garlic and chili flavor. We always get two orders of the house special fried rice because one just isn't enough. Every dish feels thoughtfully made, not rushed or reheated, and the quality shines through. No frills, no fluff--just top-tier cooking, generous portions, and bold flavors that keep us coming back. A hidden standout in Vegas Chinese cuisine. Highly recommend.

Where to start? In Vegas with some buddies and we try this place based on a recommendation from our Uber Driver on a previous trip. Located in Shanghai Plaza away from the strip this place could double its size and easily keep the tables full. In fact, if you have a group larger than 6 you will end up being shoehorned into a table. But the food and service easily make up for that. We had a group of 7 so our seating arrangement was a tad tight but they made it work. Sapporo beer and Sake helped wash down some of THE best Chinese food we've enjoyed anywhere. Seriously. We had several appetizers and 7-8 dishes and they were all fabulous. From Mama's Famous Pork Buns (you gotta try them) to the Twice Cooked Pork (spicy), the Orange Chicken, Kung Pao Chicken, Lo Mein, Mama's Special Fried Rice etc, the meal was spot on. Mama has another place opened in the Palace Station Casino which I can only assume is bigger. So next time in town we'll have to go there. China Mama is the real deal.

SOOO yummy! Had shrimp fried rice (honestly, it was just so-so) ginger scallion fish filet (OMG SO GOOD) honey walnut shrimp (delicious) and roasted duck (delicate and nice.) Erika was super sweet and helpful-- excellent customer service! Sure, it's a really small space, but it's also a nice place to sit and enjoy high quality food. Great people, too. Highly recommend this location!

Congrats to China Mama for being glossed as the eighth best Chinese restaurant in all of America by Yelp. Holy Pot Stickers, there are about 50,000 Chinese restaurants in the U.S. so that's quite the honor! (though I don't necessarily agree) Of the four entrees tasted: Mongolian beef - generous portion of nice tasting steak pieces with most of the fat and gristle trimmed off. Crispy beef - a mound of beef slivers that are battered, fried, then coated with sweet and sticky spices. Comes with rice and tastes almost dessert-like. Beef roll - looks like a wrap rolled up with paper-thin slices of spiced beef and then fried. Nice taste (hoisin flavor, as in Mu Shu dishes?) but could have used some dipping sauce like their website photo shows. Chicken fried rice - drab tasting with pre-frozen peas, carrot cubes, and under-spiced chicken pieces...the dish is prepared with little or no soy and a packet or two of imitation soy sauce added after the fact does not rescue it. Pass on such a weak attempt at this 'non-gourmet' version of fried rice. But aside from the traditional, there's also a nice option to order lesser known dishes which is always tempting to do. I was all set to try the 'Husband and Wife Lung Slices' for $15.99, but collapsed under pressure because a visual of Hannibal Lector saying, "Bon appetit!" appeared inside my head and wouldn't go away. In the end, I like most of the food at China Mama Express although they could class things up a bit. It's in a tight space and upon entering, there was one customer waiting for a takeout order while a staff member chowed down on a mini-feast in front of us at one of only three tables. After I ordered she disappeared into the kitchen, presumably to help cook it, while her half eaten meal sat there. She emerged a couple times, went back in, never wore gloves, her late lunch sitting there interrupted. An employee stuffing her face is never a good look for the diner to see when entering any small restaurant. C'mon, do better! But despite the weird vibe, the food mostly does taste good. Maybe they can improve on a few things to make it more worthy of the high ranking.

Not crazy spicy, but you can always add. Pork Belly Noodle ($12): Very generous with their pork belly in their noodle soup; my husband was very pleased. Grab this if you want a sweeter-sided soup compared to the beef noodle. Spicy Wonton ($9): Little wontons but pack a lot of flavor! Save the sauce for rice/noodles ;) SKIP: - Tomato Egg Noodle: We got this for takeout because we are tomato Cantonese rice/noodle fans as a wildcard but most of the flavor came from soy sauce rather than tomato.

We didn't really look into it, but saw that they had udon which my son loves. Everything was delicious and freshly made. I kept telling my husband, "This place is legit!" From the Japanese chefs and kind waitress, to the music, and, of course, the food. The ohitashi was a nice start with just the right amount of dashi to bring out the flavors of the veggies. I had the kimchi udon hot pot which comes with pork. I thought it was going to be slices of pork, but it was actually chashu that you would find in ramen! The chashu was tender and the broth was amazing. When I say amazing, it wasn't overly salty where it makes you feel bloated afterwards. My husband enjoyed his salmon avocado poke bowl as well. The kids had kake udon and a beef bowl, which they devoured. Glad we found this place!

Our waitress and waiter were both very nice. Service is great here. I have no complaints regarding that! I started by ordering their Hot Tea Pot in the Genmaicha Tea, which is refillable ($3). The tea was good. I must've had it refilled about three times. The husband got the Asahi draft. For the food orders, we started with the cholegi salad, takoyaki, and chicken karaage. While the cholegi salad was good, I'd have to say I've had better chicken karaage elsewhere. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to skip the chicken karaage next time. It was lacking in flavor so I asked for table salt to sprinkle on top of it. For the main dish, our party ordered beef sukiyaki udon, tendon, tuna and avocado poke don, nabeyaki udon, and kake udon. Everyone enjoyed their entrees. For dessert, we got everything that was on the menu so that we could sample them. I particularly enjoyed their matcha pudding in that it was more than what the picture showed. There were layers of azuki beans and black sugar syrup underneath the green pudding. This one was my favorite! The sweet potato ice cream was the party's favorite. Overall, I really like the vibe of this restaurant. I'll be back again to try other things on the menu that I didn't get to try this time.
