    Strawberry smoothie
    Sanny C.

I have been to quite a few Vietnamese restaurants in Vegas now. This was prob one of the best so far. You can't go wrong with the Banh Hoi Thit Nuong here. Good portions and everything was flavorful. The Banh Hoi had flavor to it as well. You can actually taste the pandan in the green color Banh Hoi. I was surprised. Thit nuong was delicious. They do need to cut the pieces smaller. The carrots & daikons were a bit tough to chew. Bo Ne was pretty good. I like it that they included the pate. Most places now skip on it. It came with one banh mi. Right amount of sweetness to it. I don't like it when foods are too sweet. The strawberry smoothie was not that great. It was creamy. That was all I tasted. Not much strawberry taste. and not sweet enough. Service was slow. Even trying to pay took a pretty long time. I don't mind coming back

VT Mania Pho & More is a fantastic mom-and-pop spot tucked away in the Pacific Asian Plaza in Chinatown Las Vegas. It's a little hard to find at first--located on the second floor above the plaza where SF Supermarket, Ninja Karaoke, and Sushi Neko are--but absolutely worth the extra minute of looking. Once you're inside, it's clear you've found one of those places locals keep to themselves. I ordered the Pho Dac Biet, Spring Rolls, and Bun Thit Nuong Cha Gio, and everything came out fresh, flavorful, and well-balanced. The broth of the pho was especially good--rich, clean, and comforting without being overly salty. The grilled pork and egg rolls on the bun were cooked perfectly, and the spring rolls had that nice fresh crunch you hope for but don't always get. I was a little sad they didn't have banh khot or che ba mau that day, but what they did have was solid across the board. This is very much a family-run, mom-and-pop environment, so service isn't the polished chain-restaurant style; you occasionally have to flag someone down for attention. Personally, I didn't mind--everyone was friendly once you had their eye, and the food speaks for itself. It feels like you're eating in someone's kitchen, and that's part of the charm. Overall: 5/5. Hidden gem vibes, authentic food, and a cozy atmosphere that makes you want to come back. I'll definitely return and hope to catch those additional menu items next time. If you're in Chinatown and want good Vietnamese comfort food, go find this place. It's worth it.

The sizzling beef sandwich was tasty and we enjoyed the ban hoi wraps. Usually they come with rice paper but not this one or we didn't ask or idk. Nice little place on the second floor. 90s music and several Vietnamese customers stopped by who seemed happy as well. I liked the fresh lime drink. It was very refreshing.

Banh khot...batter was mushy and thick!

Tried this new Vietnamese spot in Chinatown. I had the Bo Ne, Bun Mang But and banh khot! Food was kinda mid for my likings...the banh khot was not good at all... hopefully they do well in the future but I probably won't come back a second time Bo Ne (3.8/5) Bun Mang vit (4/5) Banh khot (1/5)

Had no idea this place was here! It's tucked away upstairs in the corner. Quaint inside, cute tiles on the kitchen wall. Plenty of seating but I have to say the booth seats were too high for the table height, it was awkward positioning to eat, but I prefer booths over tables and chairs so we stayed put where we were. Pho I'd give 6/10, grilled bbq pork 10/10, fish sauce lacked acidity but I asked for lime slices to adjust taste to my liking. It would be nice if they offered broken rice. Special Combination Bánh hỏi platter was tasty but messy, wished they served with rice paper to roll but I need up asking for a small empty bowl. Service was ok - they were nice and were attentive when there were a couple of other patrons there, but once it was empty, we had to wait a while to get the check and had to go back there to find staff to help. Overall, not a bad place and glad I tried, but don't see myself returning very likely.

The food here was made fresh to order and was very authentic and flavorful! The place is on the second floor of this plaza in Chinatown so you have to be looking for it to find it. It's quaint and walk ins are welcome. We got our food in a timely manner while it was still hot, however it took a while to flag staff down again to get boxes and the check after we got our food. Would come back again for some good Viet food!

First time trying this place. It's a hole in the wall and hard to find if you don't know it but it's upstairs on the right corner. You can drive up the parking ramp. Anyways once you come in the staff is very attentive and nice. Cushion booths and tables inside with AC and relaxing music playing. Food was excellent and very tasty. Very glad we found this place. If you don't search you wouldn't know this gem is here. Definitely a go to when in Vegas.

Hu Tieu Nam Vang $17.00. Banh Hoi Dac Biet $25.00, nice touch with the egg rolls for this special. A lot of food.

The hot chilis and nouc mam were spot on. A very delicious and very fresh tasting Vietnamese restaurant. I'm sure once the word of mouth goes out I hope they can keep up on the quality once this place gets super busy. Hu Tieu and Banh Hoi was authentic and delicious. Best Chao Thom. I love the variety of fresh vegetables and herbs too. No frills solid Vietnamese joint. Will be back to try the Pho and Bo Ne.

Very extensive menu to choose from, food seems authentic! The inside is simple, nothing too fancy, but most importantly feels clean and the staff is welcoming. I tried the dry noodles (Hu Thieu) which comes with broth on the side, and it was delicious. We also ordered grilled pork spring rolls which were really good. Try them out!

Terrific Beef Stew with bread. Correctly served with basil, salt&pepper and lime. The cafe sua da was also fantastic and not too sweet.

My 2nd time here. This time I tried the Bánh Mì Bò Kho, Vietnamese beef stew with bread. Fantastic. I dare say it's better than how I make this dish. The broth was subtle and superb, not too sweet or salty. Just right. I'm very impressed by what I've tried here. It happens to be across the street from another favorite of mine, Pho Thanh. Both are great and I'll be sure to visit both on my Vegas trips.

Bo Ne (steak and eggs) very tender

On top of that, the A/C was blowing hot air, and the chairs are still hard and uncomfortable. One of the biggest problems with restaurants in Las Vegas is consistency. A place can start out great, get people coming back, and then slowly let the quality slip. There seems to be very little effort to maintain the same standard once a restaurant becomes established. I'm being honest because it needs to be said: good restaurants shouldn't become comfortable or complacent. If you're charging premium prices, the food, service, and overall experience should consistently justify what customers are paying.

The broth had a lot of flavor, there was plenty of meat, and the portion was huge. It's probably the best bowl of pho I have had in Vegas. The service was really the only thing keeping this from being a 5-star experience for me. The restaurant didn't seem particularly busy, but our server wasn't very attentive. Our drinks sat empty for quite a while and we had a hard time getting his attention. One other small thing--I wish they served the pho with traditional Vietnamese chilies instead of jalapeños. After eating pho in Vietnam, I definitely miss that little bit of extra heat and flavor. Overall though, the food was very good and I'd absolutely come back.

It's one of those longtime neighborhood spots that's built a loyal following over the years. The menu focuses on traditional dishes, everything is well prepared and authentic. Flavor-wise it's good, though not the best Vietnamese food I've had, especially compared to what you'd find in SoCal. The last time I was here I got the bun rieu and it was ok, not my favorite version of the dish. I'd stick to the pho which feels like a safer choice here and more in line with what they do best. The space itself is spacious and casual. Back in the day, I would have considered this a solid 'cheap eats' option, but that's no longer the case. Like everywhere else in Vegas, prices feel high for what you get. That said, service was good, the staff was efficient, and the food came out quickly. Overall, it's a reliable choice for quality Vietnamese food that I'll keep in my rotation.
