So I've been going to this little spot for more then a decade now, and I can say that they've had their ups and downs, but their food is definitely good! The ambience is like your typical Vietnamese reasturant, with rustic furnishings. Id usually order a pho tai, (pho with sliced beef filet) and a roi coung (a rice wrapped with veggies and pork). Their service is fairly good, and they get alot of customers daily. I belive this would be a good spot for newcomers and locals,

Pho Saigon 8 was really good! The food was fresh, flavorful, and the portions were generous. Everything we ordered came out delicious, and the service was friendly and attentive. I had a great experience and highly recommend checking them out!

I tried the shaken beef, and it was okay. It was a little sweeter than I personally prefer. The service was okay, and the overall experience was decent.

Pretty solid Vietnamese spot in Vegas. The service was so quick when I went and the portions here are pretty big. We got a couple bowls of their pho, their com suong, their egg rolls, and their salad rolls. Everything was good but I thought that their rice plate was a bit dry and underwhelming. Overall, not bad but I think there are better Viet spots in Vegas.

We came in here on Friday morning and it wasn't too busy. They had free parking lot in front. We got seated right away. There were lots of tables and chairs and the place was big. We ordered two pho bowls, one vermicelli bowl, and banh canh soup. This place was a very authentic Vietnamese restaurant. We also got three Vietnamese coffees and one egg roll appetizers. The coffee was real strong but it tasted good with a fair amount of sweetness. All the food was really good. The broth for the pho and banh canh was super rich. The egg rolls were fried very well. Everything was great but the down side was that their system was not working so we were waiting for a bit to pay the bill. We ended up just paying in cash.

Had lunch here today. Food was solid. We had tofu spring rolls, chicken, bun cha gio, Vietnamese coffee. Service was good and the ambiance was decent. In town for a wedding. Parking lot is small and cramped.

I got one of the bun bowls with pork and shrimp and it was delicious! My mom got pho and she enjoyed hers as well. Service was fast and the food came out quick. Would visit again when in the area!

Decent spot for pho, but not my favorite in Vegas. My party of 3 was seated immediately on a Friday evening. I got #18 pho which comes with rare eye round, flank, fatty brisket, beef ball and tripe for $19.15. Their pho ranges from $18-$20 depending on your choice of meats. Portion size was good. Generous with meat. I really liked the fatty brisket, and the rest of the meat were tender and not tough or overly chewy. As for the broth, it tasted very clean and a little on the sweet side. I'm used to pho broth that tastes more heavily of spices and has more fragrance, so Pho Saigon 8's was a little too light for my personal preference. Service was attentive and they were constantly topping off our water cups. The place has a large dining room, which stayed about half empty the whole time we were there. Very homey/mom-and-pop shop type vibes. You pay at the register when you're done.

I've been to Pho Saigon 8 so many times and can't believe I've never written a review -- because it truly deserves one! As soon as we walked in, we were greeted and seated right away. It was late afternoon, so the restaurant was nice and quiet with only a couple of other tables, which made for a relaxed and comfortable dining experience. Our server promptly brought us ice water, and since we're regulars and already knew what we wanted, ordering was quick and easy. My cousin and I each ordered a banh xeo, and we shared a bowl of combination pho. Everything came out incredibly fast, hot, and fresh from the kitchen. I also treated myself to a Thai tea, which paired perfectly with the meal. The pho was absolutely delicious and flavorful, with a generous portion of noodles and toppings. The hot broth truly hit the spot. The banh xeo was beautifully crispy and filled with shrimp, pork belly, and bean sprouts. The fresh vegetables and dipping sauce had the perfect balance of sweetness and saltiness. I devoured everything so quickly -- it was just that good! The restaurant itself is bright and open with minimal decor, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. Every visit here has been consistently great, and this time was no exception. It was a wonderful meal and experience as always, and I'm already

I was referred this restaurant from a friend. Small clean place with ample seating. There were a couple of diners there when I came. We ordered their combination pho and their Vietnamese pancake (banh xeo) Everything was nicely presented and looked good. The portion was ok, but I thought it was kinda pricey for 2 people. The servers were friendly & helpful. I would come back since it's close by.

Best spot after a massage. People already know we only want lime, no bean sprouts no veges hehe. Service always good, Great ambiance, less crowded,

    Plastic in my drink

Ordered a avocado shake to go. On the way home felt hard pieces in drink. When I got home poured into zip lock bag and figured out it was a plastic utensil that was blended in drink. Contacted restaurant and gave them notice to ensure no one else gets served crushed plastic in their drink. You can clearly see a handle in zip lock and unsure how much plastic I digested before figuring it out.

Food is overpriced. $13 for plain pho just noodles and soup. Nothing special. Won't return.

On top of that, the A/C was blowing hot air, and the chairs are still hard and uncomfortable. One of the biggest problems with restaurants in Las Vegas is consistency. A place can start out great, get people coming back, and then slowly let the quality slip. There seems to be very little effort to maintain the same standard once a restaurant becomes established. I'm being honest because it needs to be said: good restaurants shouldn't become comfortable or complacent. If you're charging premium prices, the food, service, and overall experience should consistently justify what customers are paying.

It's one of those longtime neighborhood spots that's built a loyal following over the years. The menu focuses on traditional dishes, everything is well prepared and authentic. Flavor-wise it's good, though not the best Vietnamese food I've had, especially compared to what you'd find in SoCal. The last time I was here I got the bun rieu and it was ok, not my favorite version of the dish. I'd stick to the pho which feels like a safer choice here and more in line with what they do best. The space itself is spacious and casual. Back in the day, I would have considered this a solid 'cheap eats' option, but that's no longer the case. Like everywhere else in Vegas, prices feel high for what you get. That said, service was good, the staff was efficient, and the food came out quickly. Overall, it's a reliable choice for quality Vietnamese food that I'll keep in my rotation.
