The quality of the vermicelli is refreshing and flavorful. The Pho was a bit bland with the broth compared to other places I've had Pho but still good! Came near opening time so the ambiance was quiet and peaceful and the atmosphere is so cute with all of the cherry blossom decor! Service was attentive and also took trash out the way! We would most likely return back to this place if we're ever in the area!

Haven't been back in a while decided to stop by. I got the chicken, which was really good. It comes out hot and the broth is really good. Try the mango chicken wings, which is new. Also very good not traditional actually taste like a sports bar wings very crispy kind of like Korean fried chicken actually. Owner is very nice. Give us Vietnamese coffee on the way out.

It was our first time at this pho restaurant. It is located in a busy plaza. There is street parking as well. The inside is well decorated with beautiful murals; especially of Washington, DC (guess that's where their name came from) Service was a little slow and they weren't even that busy. The food was decent and good; served its purpose of filling our tummies. Nothing really stood out.

    Grilled lemongrass chicken

The lemongrass grilled chicken was phenomenal. Chicken was crispy , yet juicy and tender. Paris well with the sauce and rice. My husband ordered pho tai which was also so good. Broth was very flavor and food was fresh . Service was great as well, would recommend to others and would definitely be back ! Also the restaurant is very cute.

New Pho ownership and gotta try the broth. Decent Pho broth. Had to add sauces to add more flavor. Normal service. Normal ambiance. Try have the rare steak on the side and dip in broth for medium rare.

My husband and I saw a Facebook posting for Pho 79 DC, with their grand opening on Saturday! Pho 79 DC is located at Spring Mountain and Westwind Road. It's right next to the One Piece Café. There are plenty of parking spots available. We decided to stop in at Pho 79 DC as soon as it opened, around 11:00 A.M. There was only 2 other customers inside the restaurant. The restaurant is beautiful! There are plenty of tables inside the restaurant. It was open seating when we went in. We ended up sitting next to one of the windows at the restaurant. As we sat down, a team member brought over the menus and waters for us. Looking over the menu at Pho 79 DC, the restaurant specializes in Pho, grilled meat vermicelli, chicken, pork chops and much more! I haven't had a Pho in at least 6 months so I just had to order the #18 which was Pho Ga - Chicken. My husband ordered the Pho Chin Gan (Brisket). The team member assisting our table recommended the egg rolls too, so we ended up ordering the eggs rolls as well. While we waited for our meal, we had a chance to look at the restaurant. There is a large painting of Washington D.C. with the Cherry Blossoms. There was also another painting that was cherry blossomed theme as well! It was stunning! We didn't wait long for our order, less than 15 minutes for the Pho and egg rolls. My chicken pho was delicious! There was thinly shaved slices of chicken in the broth! I ended up eating the meat first! At the bottom of the pho was the noodles. I mixed it in the broth and ate most of it! It was quite filling! The egg rolls were outstanding! You could tell that they made them from scratch! The egg roll wrapper that was fried was put together with all of the different ingredients! It was super scrumptious! The restaurant is brand new! The team member assisting our table was friendly! He did mention to us it was his first day working at the restaurant when we asked where we needed to pay. We ended up just going to the register and paying for our meal. I'm sure as the restaurant is open for the next few weeks that some of the service processes will become smoother! We had a wonderful meal at Pho 79 DC.

Stopped by as we were so hungry and couldn't fight Shanghai Plaza peeps for a parking spot so we came here. It happened to be the grand opening day & we got seated quickly. The service is okay, I asked for fish sauce and she gave us nuoc cham. I don't think she understood me but the owner was also very kind. The portions are typical but for $18 a bowl of a pho. The broth could use a bit more depth and salt in flavor. The rice plate was very delicious and standard. There wouldn't be any particular reason I'd pick this place over others though. Relatively costly for pho but food is consistent with Vietnamese flavors. Parking is easy but I don't find a rush to return over other pho restaurants in Chinatown.

Saw a post on Facebook about Pho 79 DC's grand opening and they were going to do a BOGO deal. Since Vietnamese food has gotten so pricey, I figured this would be a great time to get my Viet craving out of the way! Pho 79 DC, I believe, came from Washington DC. This might be their first Las Vegas location so welcome to the valley! Today was their grand opening and we arrived around 11AM. They are located in the same plaza as SK Seafood and took over the old Pho4Real location. We were seated right away and they weren't as busy as I anticipated. We were handed menus once we sat down and they told us that for grand opening, they had a 50% off pho special. The 50% off is for pho and pho only. Well, that's a bummer. Felt like their grand opening post and poster was misleading. Anyways, I decided to get a #8 pho tai bo vien which was a pho with rare steak and beef balls. My husband decided to get a #1 pho tai which was a pho with rare steak. We also decided to get their their 2pc cha gio aka eggroll. Unfortunately, I was not a huge fan of the broth. It was a bit on the bland side and lacking serious flavor. Not sure if they just didn't have time to shimmer the broth enough or maybe they just didn't put in enough beef for the flavor. You can taste the spices but just not the beefiness to it. There was a decent amount of meat. The noodles were a bit overcooked though. When I was moving the noodles around in my bowl, I noticed that it was easily broken. Usually when that happens, it means they cooked the noodles a tad too much. The egg rolls were pretty good though. Tasted like it was freshly fried but the flavor was a bit on the lighter end. It didn't come with pickled veggies, which was a bit odd. Overall, it was pretty average. I think there is better in the valley. The portion size was a bit small so at the regular price of $17 per bowl, I don't think it's worth it. I'm not sure if I would be back but I wish their business the best of luck!

Tried this place out on their grand opening! Was able to get seated quickly and overall had a quick and great experience. Forgot to take a picture of their menu but it seems very simple with different Pho and Rice plate options. Got their combination pho and their Viet Ice Coffee! Their broth was clear and flavorful! They only have one size but was definitely a lot. The restaurant itself was very clean and had beautiful decoration. The staff are very friendly and attentive!

The Pho was as flavorful and very filling. The pork and beef Bún Thịt Nướng was very delicious and very little fat unlike some places that give you all pork fat. The Beef chow fun was heavenly, so good I've ordered it 2 times now. The spring rolls are fresh and hefty. The egg rolls taste homemade and has the flavors I've been looking for. I've never had Vietnamese Pan Cakes before and don't have any comparison, but I'll definitely be ordering them more often and I have a feeling other places will have a hard time comparing to this one. The Fried Chicken Rice was also delicious. The chicken is not breaded but crispier than most fried chicken that is breaded. The rice was really good especially with the sauce they gave to put on it. The jasmine milk tea and passion slush were very satisfying. The atmosphere was also really good and the place is kind of big. I love watching the tv's with the beautiful scenery of Vietnam. Service was ok, especially for how slow and empty the restaurant was when we arrived. The timing of the food was poorly managed. My wife's entree came out far before mine, and she had already finished eating before my dish even arrived. Also, while she was still eating her egg rolls, the server brought over the rice paper with hot water in a plastic container and placed it right next to her plate mid-meal. The service felt unorganized and awkward overall. The egg rolls tasted like they had been refried. The veggies and herbs looked stale and close to going bad. The vermicelli with pork patties had a very small amount of meat and tasted like it had been reheated in the microwave. The hot water served for rice paper came in a plastic containers, "Hot water in plastic". The peanut sauce also had an unusual coconut flavor that did not taste right. We also ordered the Vietnamese crepe. It was burnt, the pork tasted awful, and the shrimp was overcooked. Again, the vegetables and herbs did not taste fresh. The fish sauce dip was probably the only thing that tasted decent. Sadly, this place is not what it used to be. This place is now on our "Do not eat at" list.

I remember their pho being much better before. I normally order pho tai but went with Shaking Beef Pho this time. Prices have for sure gone up! $25 for a bowl of pho that barely tasted like pho!! This one adds some sate or chili in it but it still lacked any of the pho spice flavors. One of my friends also ordered this as well and agreed. My other friend ordered the Oxtail Pho. I tried a sip of his broth and it was the same. No pho spices at all. It's already a bad sign when you walk into a pho spot or when they bring the bowls out and you don't smell the aroma of pho. My friend's oxtail wasn't even cooked long enough. The pros: the noodles were cooked perfectly and the shaking beef in the pho was tender. Our server was also nice. Not sure if maybe it was just an off day or maybe they were still making the broth and forgot the spice. Idk but I will be choosing a different pho restaurant next time I'm in Vegas
