Everything was delicious and the portions were satisfying. The service was also very nice and welcoming, which made the experience even better. What really stood out to me was the interior -- the ambiance and decor are very cool and unique. It actually reminded me of Washington, DC during cherry blossom season, which gives the restaurant a really nice atmosphere. The broth was on point, the noodles were perfectly cooked paired with a very generous portion of protein. It felt like an endless amount of protein. We are from Los Angeles so it's really hard to beat finding great pho places here in Las Vegas but this one did it for us. Boy oh boy, this place had delicious food and excellent service, reasonably priced and a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. so let me tell you all about it. The food, as always, is the centerpiece of my reviews as this is the reason for the event. The pho and the broth was so so good and had lots of meat in the combination version. My new new favorite pho to eat resides at this place. My wife got the Korean short ribs, and she (and I) was glad she did, they were excellent. Precisely seasoned, expertly cooked, and plated to start the senses. We had such a great time here, and we were full by the time we left and didn't feel like we emptied our pockets as a result, so try a few things on the menu like we did, and rest easy you won't break the bank. This place is a must-try if you're craving Vietnamese food. Got the combo pho and it did not disappoint, the broth was so flavorful and packed with beef. I enjoyed this family-run Viet spot. The colorful decor is fun and inviting, the portions are great, and it is slightly more wallet-friendly than surrounding pho places. I tried the lemongrass chicken rice plate was delicious. The lemongrass flavor was excellent and the chicken thighs were very tender. Needed a quick lunch and stopped here. It's a hit or miss if you judge a place on decor but I liked it. The spring rolls were fresh, the vermicelli bowls were excellent and that fish sauce that came with it was oh so good. Also the service didn't suck. Came here looking for something warm and soupy and this place was great for a quick bite. There was no wait when we arrived, the restaurant was super clean, and the service was really nice and friendly throughout our visit. My friends gave the pho around a 7.5-8/10 overall! The soup came out hot, which I really appreciated. The broth leaned a bit on the sweeter side, and the noodles were softer than I personally prefer (I usually like a chewier noodle texture), but it was still really comforting and satisfying. From you outside on the front windows hangs two shaped flowered heart shape hanging decor, which the owner made by hand. The other side talks about their story and beverages. We ordered the combination pho, grilled Pork chops with rice and egg quiche and for appetizers we had their Vietnamese egg rolls. Their pho broth was very flavorful their tendon and tripe was soft. The porkchops were also flavorful. Their egg quiche was different they incorporated pig ears which I like but the first I seen in a Vietnamese restaurant. Our waiter was super nice, she had very well customer service. I'm not sure if we came in on an off day for the staff or if things just aren't the same anymore here. The broth in the pho was great, and the egg rolls and meatball were good but service was horrible. It was so bad that I feel like 3 stars is very generous for the overall experience, but hey it's the holidays. We took our own seats and grabbed menus from the counter because no staff was present when we came in, and it took an extremely long time for anyone to come to our table. She brought waters and we let her know we were ready to order, then she disappeared for another long spell before returning to take the order. The egg rolls came out without lettuce to wrap them (which is different from the past), and the pho came with no bean sprouts or side veggies. We asked for the bean sprouts 3 times and after a while finally got a plate with mint and a bunch of lettuce (half of which was comically dirty), but no bean sprouts or jalapenos. One table near us complained to the staff in Vietnamese about the service and ended up walking out (we were too hungry for that). My husband and I saw a Facebook posting for Pho 79 DC, with their grand opening on Saturday! Pho 79 DC is located at Spring Mountain and Westwind Road. It's right next to the One Piece Café. There are plenty of parking spots available. We decided to stop in at Pho 79 DC as soon as it opened, around 11:00 A.M. There was only 2 other customers inside the restaurant. The restaurant is beautiful! There are plenty of tables inside the restaurant. It was open seating when we went in. We ended up sitting next to one of the windows at the restaurant. As we sat down, a team member brought over the menus and waters for us. Looking over the menu at Pho 79 DC, the restaurant specializes in Pho, grilled meat vermicelli, chicken, pork chops and much more! I haven't had a Pho in at least 6 months so I just had to order the #18 which was Pho Ga - Chicken. My husband ordered the Pho Chin Gan (Brisket). The team member assisting our table recommended the egg rolls too, so we ended up ordering the eggs rolls as well. While we waited for our meal, we had a chance to look at the restaurant. There is a large painting of Washington D.C. with the Cherry Blossoms. There was also another painting that was cherry blossomed theme as well! It was stunning! We didn't wait long for our order, less than 15 minutes for the Pho and egg rolls. My chicken pho was delicious! There was thinly shaved slices of chicken in the broth! I ended up eating the meat first! At the bottom of the pho was the noodles. I mixed it in the broth and ate most of it! It was quite filling! The egg rolls were outstanding! You could tell that they made them from scratch! The egg roll wrapper that was fried was put together with all of the different ingredients! It was super scrumptious! The restaurant is brand new! The team member assisting our table was friendly! He did mention to us it was his first day working at the restaurant when we asked where we needed to pay. We ended up just going to the register and paying for our meal. I'm sure as the restaurant is open for the next few weeks that some of the service processes will become smoother! The service is okay, I asked for fish sauce and she gave us nuoc cham. I don't think she understood me but the owner was also very kind. The portions are typical but for $18 a bowl of a pho. The broth could use a bit more depth and salt in flavor. The rice plate was very delicious and standard. There wouldn't be any particular reason I'd pick this place over others though. Saw a post on Facebook about Pho 79 DC's grand opening and they were going to do a BOGO deal. Since Vietnamese food has gotten so pricey, I figured this would be a great time to get my Viet craving out of the way! Pho 79 DC, I believe, came from Washington DC. This might be their first Las Vegas location so welcome to the valley! Today was their grand opening and we arrived around 11AM. They are located in the same plaza as SK Seafood and took over the old Pho4Real location. We were seated right away and they weren't as busy as I anticipated. We were handed menus once we sat down and they told us that for grand opening, they had a 50% off pho special. The 50% off is for pho and pho only. Well, that's a bummer. Felt like their grand opening post and poster was misleading. Anyways, I decided to get a #8 pho tai bo vien which was a pho with rare steak and beef balls. My husband decided to get a #1 pho tai which was a pho with rare steak. We also decided to get their their 2pc cha gio aka eggroll. Unfortunately, I was not a huge fan of the broth. It was a bit on the bland side and lacking serious flavor. Not sure if they just didn't have time to shimmer the broth enough or maybe they just didn't put in enough beef for the flavor. You can taste the spices but just not the beefiness to it. There was a decent amount of meat. The noodles were a bit overcooked though. When I was moving the noodles around in my bowl, I noticed that it was easily broken. Usually when that happens, it means they cooked the noodles a tad too much. The egg rolls were pretty good though. Tasted like it was freshly fried but the flavor was a bit on the lighter end. It didn't come with pickled veggies, which was a bit odd. Overall, it was pretty average. I think there is better in the valley. The portion size was a bit small so at the regular price of $17 per bowl, I don't think it's worth it. Had to write a review for this place after my experience! I ordered via Grubhub & I got a call from the restaurant after my driver was already on the way. They notified me that they had mistakenly not sent my lemongrass chicken with the rest of my food. To my surprise they asked for my address & brought it to me themselves immediately. They were at my door in less than 20 minutes. I barely even got my first bite of pho in before they arrived with the missing dish!!! Outside of the outstanding customer service, the food itself was delicious. We got the Pho Tai, lemongrass chicken, & Thai tea. All of which were still hot and fresh upon arrival. Went for lunch today for the Grand Opening of Pho79DC [5600 Spring Mtn Rd] in the former location of Pho 4Real. There is no atmosphere, the walls are bare, and at lunch time there were lots of empty tables and very few customers. I would not recommend this Vietnamese restaurant to anyone. There are several pho restaurants on Spring Mtn Rd, such as Pho #1, Pho #7, Pho #8 and even the former Pho 4Real had better food at lower prices, larger bowls of pho, and far more ingredients. The owner's Pho79 restaurants in Washington, DC and Garden Grove, CA may have earned 4 of 5 stars on Yelp, but not here in Las Vegas. I ordered the #16 Special Pho and 4 Shrimp Rolls. The pho was supposed to have 4 different kinds of beef, beef meatballs, and beef tendon. The bowl of pho I received had a few pieces of what appeared to be only one kind of beef [see photo], one meatball cut in half, and one thinly sliced piece of tendon about the size of a dime [it must have fallen n accidently]! There was no sliced scallion in the soup, the bean sprouts and 2 sprigs of mint leaves were not fresh, and there was no sliced lime. When I complained about the lack of meat and tendon, they brought a few very thinly sliced pieces of tendon! The broth was so-so with a taste of too much cinnamon. The "be careful hot" tea was lukewarm. The wrap of the shrimp rolls was like rubber and the ingredients were not what you would expect. Besides the thin slice of shrimp and noodles, there was shredded carrot and a thick center rib piece of romaine lettuce. read more

The service was great, we got our food in just minutes and the food tasted like it was freshly made for our order.
