Everyone was happy with their meals; a few of us got spring rolls to share. I got a bun bo hue with thin noodles, which was very tasty. Came here for lunch before heading back to Phoenix on a Monday afternoon. Ordered Combination Pho 2x and Combination Bun Bo Hue. Flavors and portion size were decent. Nothing spectacular tbh. IMO overpriced. At the premium price point, I was expecting premium quality/portion size - neither bowl hit the mark. Service was solid. The server spoke Vietnamese and great English which is not always the case with Vietnamese restaurants. Food came out fast, though the restaurant was not very busy. Had steady customers but less than half occupied. The interior was nice. Their waiter station could use a revamp and bathrooms could be kept a little more cleaner and brighter. But overall clean, modern and spacious. Lunched here with my mom, wife and 2 young kids and were accommodated very well. Overall, based on food quality and value - 3 stars. Nothing special for the premium price point is an average restaurant in my book. I'm not a local but if I was, there's no way this is my go-to Vietnamese joint. Not in this economy. Am I cheap? No - I'll pay the higher price tag if it's worth it - give me generous amounts of meats and noodles and the value will be there. The bun bo hue broth lacked a depth of flavor. You tasted the fish sauce but it missed the punch of chili oil and the broth overall was weak. I didn't notice any pork blood or pork hock but there was a nice piece of beef bone in there. 7/10 overall. The service was attentive and nice but the broth for both dishes need work. This location of Pho & Beyond is very well decorated and very spacious. What drew us to coming here was the were open early and the affordable prices. They are located in a strip mall with plenty of parking. The moment you walk in you see a nice waterfall set up and neon signs and a display of Vietnamese cultural decor. Staff were so welcoming the whole time. Everyone with a smile on their faces as if you were being hosted inside their home. The location is huge bar-top seating area. They were 10 plus tables in the main dining area as well all varying in seating size. We decided to get the shrimp spring rolls and the grilled beef banh mi. They bring over a pitcher of water for the table and utensils/plates. The springs rolls were displaying nicely and taste very fresh. The banh mi was crispy and flavorful. The beef was cooked perfectly and the banh mi was well put together as a whole. I loved eat bite and it tasted like an authentic style banh mi. Total bill came out to $24 for both items. The prices were great and totally worth it for a party of 2 people. A solid spot for Vietnamese cuisine in this part of Chinatown Vegas. I highly recommend! I came here with my husband on the last day of our Vegas trip. We needed a quick bite before our long drive home. We came shortly after they opened. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was the highly decorated waiting area. I appreciated their effort in transporting their guests to Vietnam. We were greeted by the staff members and were sat right away. The seating area was very nice too. There were many tables and booths, and there was artwork along the walls (if I'm remembering correctly). I decided to go with the Shrimp Spring Roll appetizer and my husband ordered the Grilled Beef Bahn Mi. The spring rolls were good. The shrimp pieces were sweet and evenly distributed. The veggies had that nice, fresh crunch to them. I appreciated that they were cut in half so I didn't have to worry about the contents falling out each time I took a bite. I was excited to see they serve Banh Xeo (Vietnamese pancake) and Bun Bo Hue, however both dishes did not meet my expectations. For food, we got the brisket pho and Combination rice (pork chop and broken rice) The pho was delicious, flavorful broth, good portion of brisket and veggies on the side. The brisket was really good quality. My only complaint was that the noodles were a bit too tough for my liking. The combination rice was great. We went for a late dinner and is more easily one of our favorite Vietnamese restaurants. They open late, and the food was really good. I got the satay beef noodle. I asked for egg noodles and pho noodle and added shrimp. It wasn't very spicy but it was good. The service was good. Very friendly. Portions were generous, maybe because I added a bunch of stuff lol. Really disappointing experience at Pho & Beyond. We were seated immediately and the restaurant wasn't particularly busy -- there were plenty of open tables and multiple staff members on the floor -- yet somehow it took almost 20 minutes just to have someone take our order. We eventually had to flag a waiter down ourselves because nobody checked on us. After ordering, we then waited another 45 minutes for two bowls of pho. We checked in with the waitress twice during that time and still received no real update or sense of urgency. Altogether, we spent over an hour waiting for what should normally be a very quick and straightforward meal. (I'm Vietnamese, so I'm very familiar with pho restaurants and how efficiently they usually operate.) Pho is not the kind of food that should take this long, especially when the restaurant isn't slammed. The excessive wait completely ruined the experience. Beautifully decorated restaurant. There are plenty of tables, including bar counter seats. With how nice the restaurant was, I didn't expect the regular, wrinkled, stained paper menus. As for the food, it was quite mediocre. We started with the chao tom cuon, which was nicely rolled but lacked flavor, even with the dipping sauce. We then moved onto the pho, bun bo hue, and banh canh cua. The pho's broth was a tad sweet if you like that. The bun bo hue was said to be lacking some flavor, even with the lemongrass sate provided. It needed a little bit more salt content, whether it be from shrimp paste or fish sauce. And, the meat bone that came with it was too tough, hard to eat. As for the banh canh, it smelled more fishy than it tasted. The broth had a slight, starchy consistency and came with large sized, deveined shrimps, which was nice. Was it the best banh canh? No, but it's enough to cure your craving, I guess. Service was nonexistent after the order was placed. Pretty much the expected, standard Vietnamese restaurant service. Looks like good pho is still beyond the Nevada state line. Pho & Beyond has been impressing the heck out of social media and live visitors with the gorgeous decor at this second store of theirs. Located next to Ramen Boys on Decatur, they were pretty packed on a late Sunday morning and built a large queue of waiters by the time peak lunch rolled around. I was fortunate to get seated right away. Unfortunately, the meal had a less than ideal start when they forgot my drink order totally and took over 15 minutes to prep the food. I really wanted to love them though, and the first sips of broth of my Pho Dac Biet ($19.00) were savory and appropriately spiced. The meat was plentiful too. However, I started noticing the pho noodles disappearing too quickly halfway through the bowl and was left with insufficient amounts for the last several bites. Also, some of the tendon pieces were too chewy. I would also be remiss to ignore that the portion of basil on the side was a little low, although at least it was fresh and fragrant. The Hu Tieu & Mi Thap Cam ($18.00) was also not that great. The wheat noodles were pale and not the golden, distinctively colored strands I'm used to. There was also only one piece of shrimp. The broth was pretty nice at least. When I finally got my Ca Phe Sua Da ($5.95), or Vietnamese Milk Coffee, I did enjoy it. It's strongly coffee-flavored, has the right complexity and richness, and feels balanced between intense bitterness and intense sweetness. It isn't the absolute best in town, but the best one is kinda a mecca anyway. Oh, and it's in a plastic cup by default for portability. Pho & Beyond is a very pretty restaurant and may have some great food items somewhere on their menu, but it doesn't meet the standards of pho I've been fortunate enough to experience throughout my life in California.
