It's such a joy to visit Pho Ga Bac Bac at this late. And by the time most Asian restaurants in town already closed after 11pm this one turn out to be one of the option that open 24/7. I was amazed how good the food is. I order a glass noodle with dark meat - i always go for dark meat I like the texture better. The quality definitely up there yall. We placed an order 30 minutes in advance specifically so it would be ready when we arrived. When we got there, the employee at the front didn't apologize for the delay or explain the situation. Instead he chastised us for showing up, said they had too many orders, then turned to talk to other customers without resolving anything. Delays happen, especially at a busy shop. What's not okay is making the customer feel like the problem. A simple 'we're running behind, it'll be another 15 minutes, sorry about that' would have been completely fine. I had contemplated going to the Izakaya spot in the same plaza. However, that place had a wait time that prompted me to walk in here. I have been here once before many years ago. The place is absolutely spacious and massive, and while there were people it was certainly not as busy in the best way. You got seated immediately, we're giving waters immediately, pretty much got our food immediately. It was everything I needed it to be considering I was hungry and it was late at night. Service was lacking. We walked in to only one other customer there. Should've left but we had Ubered from area 15, so we stayed. Waiter we only saw once and then I think owner or manager took over. We ordered through the app but for some reason nothing would come out unless he confirmed it, so not sure why he just didn't take the order himself, why make us order only. Half our party had to wait 20-30mins after we got our food to get theirs because what they ordered wasn't confirmed. Overall, pho broth was simple. It was good don't get me wrong. Could have done with more protein. It was a good size. However the banh khot was undercooked and stil very watery at the center. We basically forced everyone to take one so we didn't leave any behind but we weren't sure if we were going to get sick with it being underdone. No one ultimately got sick. Trendy hipster vibes. Stopped by Pho Ga Bac Bac and ordered the Crispy Pork & Shrimp Crêpe (Bánh Xèo) and it was absolutely amazing. The crepe had that perfect golden crunch when you break into it, and the pork and shrimp inside were seasoned just right. Fresh herbs and greens on the side tied everything together and made every bite pop. Service was great and super welcoming. They made me feel comfortable right away and the food came out fast, which is always a plus when you're hungry and ready to eat. There was a time when another pho spot (#1) claimed the 24 hour throne of the Las Vegas late night food scene, but now that title belongs to Pho Ga Bac Bac. Their all day availability, along with their variety of foods is impressive, but unfortunately that's where the appeal ends. The dining room is modern, spacious, and very group-friendly. Even at their busiest, parking is still abundant, and the place never feels too busy. I am still undecided on whether lunch or late night is better, but either shift has had its shares of service woes. The staff needs a lot of work with prompt service, cleaning tables, and handling orders in a timely manner. Like some of the Chinese restaurants, food is ordered through their website and brought directly to the table. The variety is a bit overwhelming for first timers, but I applaud them for offering more than just pho, even if the prices are a bit on the high side. My group and I managed to order a hundred dollars worth of food, which included both chicken ($17) and beef pho ($17). whole Hainan style chicken ($38), fried rice flour cake ($17), banh cuon ($18), banh khot ($18), cha gio ($10), goi cuon ($10), bac bac short rib pho ($20), chao ga ($17) and chao long ($18), and a com crispy chicken leg ($17). While the chicken dishes held their own, the rest did not. The banh khot lacked the crispiness I was hoping for and the beef pho was very unmemorable. Banh cuon as well as the banh bot chien was dry and unappetizing, even when drenched in sauce. I would highly recommend not ordering the beef short rib to just simply save some money. It's not a complete farce and I would never rule out a return. After all, once most everyone in Chinatown is closed, Pho Ga Bac Bac will remain. Came here early in the morning since it's one of the few places that's open early (or 24/7 in this case). I will say the flavor is good -- it's a unique mix of chicken and beef pho. I think the only downside is the portion size and the price. It's Vegas, so I guess a bowl of pho runs about $16-$20. The portion was on the smaller side, and they definitely skimp on the amount of noodles. I left satisfied but not entirely full. As a Vietnamese person, I'd say the pho is solid and the flavors are good, but the portion and price bring it down a bit. I'd say the flavor itself is a 4/5, being good but not the best. Some plates came warm which tells us it was just sitting there and they would mess up on some of the other orders The good reviews you see is because the staff asks for a good review and to show it to them so you can get a free drink, so don't believe all the reviews. Tables would arrive after us and would get their food before us. At least serve the appetizers we ordered to curve the frustration. My friend had to grab the utensil and get the waters, serving us. I get that sometimes it low staff but the complete disorganization, no communication, lack of accountability and lying faces and even the staff seemed like they didn't know what they were serving and/or saying to us and eachother. And this is not what I would expect from a 24/7 restaurant. Who ever creates their work flow strategy needs to seriously consider a new line of work and get some help They didn't comp or discount anything, they gave us two free rice rolls but in reality they messed up on everything they should've provided a discounted rate for the whole table and the audacity to ask us for a good review for free drinks is crazy. When they provided the check they tried to charge us for everything. They ignored the one who was paying the whole check trying to ask questions about it. They even tried to charge us for the drinks they gave to us for "free." The fact that we had to sit there for 45-50 minutes arguing with them and they were still demanding the service tip was absolutely insane, they denied us to talk to a manager. They just wanted us gone, they didn't want to comp us. The waitress lied and acted like she was a victim and that she did serve us the napkins and utensils, mind you our friend served us and we have video proof. I'm from out of town, but I haven't saw this place on Instagram. It was really excited to try it. First, you order your food by scanning the code on the table. Which is fine, but no one really explained that to me when I walked in. The staff seems kind of rushed and not very personable. I try to ask one of the waiters for something three times. The spring rolls were really good. I love that they came with pickled vegetables. The caddy was impressive. I've never had it with sliced garlic. I enjoyed that. The pho was good. I would probably try a different protein next time the chicken was tender, but with it being in the broth, the skin gets kind of soggy and chewy and I'm just not a fan of that texture. I gave it three stars because I think my expectations were so high and I've actually had better for at home I also didn't care for the staff interaction. I placed an online order around 5 AM, and when I arrived they were incredibly busy, I belived because of the EDC crowd. Even with how hectic everything was, Nike handled our order professionally and made sure everything was correct. Honestly wish I could give this place a better review because the food isn't that bad whatsoever. I'd recommend the spring rolls, chicken pho, and the shrimp tempura. However the service was horrible. To be fair me and my partner have come here in the middle of the night (4ish am bc of our jobs) about 4x now to really try and see if the service changes but it doesn't. We noticed that it's always the same guy as well. Every time we have come in we seat ourselves because no one comes and greets us, ( I genuinely do understand the guy is on graveyard and it's hard but this is a service industry job) then we wait another 15-20 minutes for anyone to come by and give us silverware/water. There's a QR code on the table to see the menu and order but what I don't understand is the server has to confirm the order for it to be sent to the kitchen (as it seems) but every time we do that again we wait the 15-20 minutes and wait even more time for the food to be ready. So it honestly seems like a very inconvenient system if anything. Anyway what makes it worse is the guy is always on his phone watching people come in and not really caring ? I at first assumed he was on his break but it's all the time like dude hello . The only decent service we ever got was the bus person lady. Bless her souls because it seemed like she was doing most of the work if anything ( cleaning tables, bringing waters, even taking orders). Overall wish there was more pho places open 24 hrs.
