My nephew that lives locally recommended this place and it did not disappoint! The restaurant was super clean, and the waitress wasted no time to get our order/ We ordered Lao sausage with sticky rice, Kao piek, and Nam Khao. The sausage was on point with lots of herbs, khao piek looked like the noodles were made in- house. Nam Khao was a bit too sour for me, but satisfied my craving. Coming back here next time we are in Vegas.

I wanted to get an early dinner before a show and this is in a plaza with which I am familiar. Once again, thanks to Yelp for helping me find what has been there all the time. Their menu is mostly Lao street food but with a number of Thai dishes and some influence from Vietnam and India. Looking over the extensive menu, I ordered their Crying Tiger, marinated grilled beef brisket cut in small slivers for sipping in the crying tiger sauce. I also got an order of plain white rice. The crying tiger sauce is spicy but not too spicy for me. The Thai iced coffee I got to drink also helped with the spice if needed. The beef brisket is nicely grilled and the thin strips were somewhat rare which is the way i like beef. It was a very pleasant dish. For dessert, I got their roti. Knowing the size of roti, I wondered if it was too much for one person. The server told me it was one roti. Their menu describes it as fluffy, freshly made flatbread. In short order, the dessert arrived. The roti is folded and cut into small squares. It is glazed with a small amount of sugar and served slightly warm. There was also a small amount of sweetened condensed milk for some moisture. The Lao roti is similar to Indian. One website describes the Thai roti like this: "The Thai version is made from a dough that is stretched very thin (often with a theatrical flair from street vendors), folded to create layers, fried in butter and oil, and then served as a sweet snack or dessert. The result is a combination of crispy, flaky, and slightly chewy" What a treat! Service was very good. Coming in the late afternoon, the restaurant was empty except for people at one other table. Since their menu is so extensive, I will be returning for this very good food!

I couldn't describe how amazing the food was. But we all love it. Katai was our server. She nailed it!!!

I couldn't explain how amazing the food was. We were a group of 4 . We ate all what we ordered. It's so so good. Katai was our server and she nailed it!!

Absolutely amazing food and great atmosphere at Lao Kitchen!. The flavors were authentic, rich, and full of spice. I especially loved the grilled meat, sticky rice, and papaya salad -- everything tasted fresh and homemade. The staff was super friendly and the service was fast. If you're looking for real Lao/Thai food in Vegas, this place is definitely worth visiting. Highly recommend!

The real deal Laos food. Food is authentic and very tasty. Nice to have one in the area without going all the way to the east side. Go and try a few different dishes with friends to see what's your favorite! Service is friendly as well.

Came in on a weekday and were seated quickly. There was 1 other table. We tried to order a bit of everything to try. Service was great! Our server is also the hostess so she was working double time serving and seating. Food was good! Everything had great flavor and an adequate spice! Overall, great service and yummy food!

Decided to visit Lao Kitchen on a whim, so glad we did! Dining area was empty when we arrived on a Sunday afternoon, so we had the whole place to ourselves! Our server was very attentive and was always checking on us. We ordered the Lao Sausage for appetizer and it was very flavorful with a nice snap. The sausage paired great with a side of sticky rice! We also ordered the papaya salad with raw shrimp, and this was the star of the show. The spice was on point, shrimp was plump and fresh, and salad had that crunch and distinct flavor that we love. Pad See Ew was pretty good also, it had a smoky wok flavor and portion size was on point. We will be back to check out more of the menu.

The experience was terrible, I wished I didn't have such a high expectation, I was reading all the great reviews and lately it's been going downhill . Maybe you guys should hire back a real Thai cook, because who's ever cooking in the back, is just winging it. This is unacceptable-prob won't be coming back. ...... For an entree, I went with typical chicken pad thai which is my go-to. The space itself is inviting with stylish décor and a warm, modern atmosphere that makes it perfect for both casual dinners and hosting friends. Service is consistently excellent--attentive, welcoming, and polished every time we visit. Our Usual Order: 1) Garlic Herb Crispy Prawns - Hands down some of the best in the city. The prawns arrive perfectly crisp with a generous coating of golden garlic and herbs. Each bite has that satisfying crunch before giving way to tender shrimp. 2) Mango Crispy Catfish - A beautiful contrast of textures. The crispy catfish is topped with bright slices of mango and finished with a chili-lime dressing that ties everything together. The dish is vibrant, colorful, and bursting with flavors. 3) Crab Fried Rice - The rice comes generously packed with large pieces of crab and works perfectly alongside the other dishes. It's hearty enough to share. 4) Dessert here is as much about presentation as it is about enjoyment. The Mango Sticky Rice is beautifully plated, and the Egg Yolk Ice Cream is a unique treat that's rich and creamy without being overly sweet--the perfect way to end the meal. The wine list is surprisingly impressive for a Thai restaurant. We usually pair our meal with Orin Swift Blank Stare Sauvignon Blanc, which complements the dishes wonderfully. There's also a full bar, and the Lamaii Old Fashioned is worth trying--smooth, aromatic, and beautifully balanced. If you're looking for a spot with great atmosphere, attentive service, and dishes that are consistently well-executed, Lamaii is always a solid choice.

Coming from LA, we have decent Thai food, but honestly this place blows everything else out of the water. Tucked in the corner of a shopping mall with quite a few other restaurants, you might miss it if you're driving by. Here are the dishes we've tried so far: Pad Thai (9.5/10) - The best pad thai I've had - nice and moist, with great flavor. I'm normally indifferent to pad thai but having this one makes me realize that most of the other pad thai I've has been dry - no wonder I enjoyed this one so much more. Garlic Herb Crispy Prawn (10/10) - The star of the show - nice, large prawns fried to perfection and covered with a tasty garlic sauce. This is the one we get every time we go. Gang Pu (7.5/10) - Solid amount of crab meat in a curry sauce. The vermicelli noodles come on the side and you can add them into the sauce when you want. It's good but I wish there was a little more curry sauce in the dish. Pra Dook Pad Pren (7/10) - On taste alone this probably gets a 9/10 but we thought the portion was a bit small. The catfish is very tasty and the sauce was on point. Just wish it was a little bigger portion. Panang w/ Crispy Duck (9/10) - the duck is very moist and flavorful, swimming in the panang curry it's really a wonderful dish. There is a good amount of sauce which we like so we can add it onto the steamed rice. Panang w/ Crispy Prawns (8.5/10) - See above but with crispy prawns instead of duck. Enjoyable but I think I prefer the duck a little more for this type of dish. Garlic Green Beans (9.5/10) - Didn't know what to expect but really pleasantly surprised with this dish. The green beans are covered with a super flavorful garlic sauce. A nice compliment to any of the other dishes considering there's not a ton of vegetable options on the menu. The tasteful traditional decor and dark wood sets a nice mood for a pleasant meal. Sure, the view out of the window could be better (you just get a view of the corner of the parking lot) but other than that I can't complain. Also, the service is really stand out - they always treat us very nice and check on us regularly. Shoutout to Pinky - she's super sweet and they've given us a little ice cream dessert when we've come on our birthdays. In a city with so many great food options this one stands out for me. Can't wait to go back!

Our food did take quite sometime to arrive, but when it did come it was piping hot and smelled absolutely heavenly. The Pad Thai noodles were cooked to perfection, the sauce had the right amount of umami flavors, and the fresh veggies and peanuts mingled everything together beautifully. As for the curry, it was just okay but it didn't have those rich aromatic flavors we're accustomed to. The curry may have not been our favorite, but the rest of the food we've tried has been pretty spot on.
