The food is out of this world!!! Delicious all around! My favorite dish is the crispy rice wrap with sticky rice--I highly recommend this for your first time (: I can eat this forever if I could. I'm also very picky when it comes to green thai tea and this restaurant does it best. Additionally, we had a good chat with the owner of the restaurant, bonding over Lao and Thai culture. She is so sweet and welcoming. Tamara served us and she was so helpful and kind! It really felt like I was transported back to Thailand. I knew right away this wasn't your typical sit down restaurant, but more of a nighttime grub spot with Friends for drinks and dancing , chilling eating and more drinking. Which was cool with me cause the music was good . I'm sure they have sports on during whatever is in season and Karaoke. If you're not here for that and here for the food, it's legit Laos food. Get the Thum platter , it has a little bit of everything in there and the their Lao papaya salad was bomb, make sure to ask for Thai chili peppers on the side if they didn't make it spicy enough for you . We might have been served by the owner of this place, she was very welcoming and invited us to come back if we needed a place to after party since there was a concert in town that weekend. The drinks are readonably priced. I recommend bottle service for special occasions. C3 serves authentic Laos & Thai food. The first time we met with friends and ordered the papaya salad party tray which came with grilled pork, grill chicken wings, grilled Lao sausages, noodles and 2 small bags of rice, and 2 dipping sauces. I decided to stop in because I was craving pad Thai and didn't want to stray far from home. This place is tucked into the shopping center but there is lots of parking. I am here on a Thursday and glad I came on a quiet day. No other patrons are here, which worried me at first, but I quickly realized why. This place doubles as a lounge and has lots of pretty cool events that they seem to get very busy with on the weekends. It's a huge space and with all the disco balls gives it's a fun and cute atmosphere. I tried the pad Thai but will come back and try some Lao dishes next time as recommended by our very friendly server, Tamara. (Hope I spelled her name right). C3 Kitchen & Lounge is such an interesting space. It's a full-service restaurant but also is a lounge/entertainment space in the evening. The restaurant serves up Thai & Laotian food but also has a seafood boil section. I tried calling ahead to make reservations, but no one answered the phone. We arrived with a party of 12 and they were able to put some tables together for us. (The music was pretty loud inside, which is probably why they couldn't hear the phone.) This is what I mostly tried: * Lucky 7 Platter $49.99 - Lao Papaya Salad, C3 Wings, Lao Sausage, Riblets, Nam, Pork Loaf, Vermicelli Noodles, Veggies, Sticky Rice, Shrimp Chips and Lao Dipping Sauces. It's a pretty presentation with everything laid out on a giant platter. Perfect for two, or maybe three to share. The Lao Sausage was my favorite of this platter. It was super flavorful. We chose the Lao Papaya Salad with salted baby crabs as our Thum choice. There wasn't quite enough crab flavor and only one little crab sitting on top. Out of all the Lao Dipping Sauces, the Lao Jeow King was our favorite as it's the ginger one. * Fried Shrimp Heads $7.99 - These were eaten up quite quickly. * Fried Calamari $12.99 - These also were enjoyed. * Fried Pork Belly $12.99 - The majority of everyone in our large party ordered this dish, some even ordering another round. They all enjoyed it. On our next visit, I would probably focus more on actual specific dishes. I appreciated the variety of the platter but now know what I like on it so would just order those a la carte. Our waitress was super nice and friendly. She gave us her recommendations when asked and was just such a pleasant person. There were some dishes that took a little longer than others and we had to remind the kitchen. As it was mostly just the one waitress working, we did have to get up a couple of times to request a few things. There were some other dining parties on that Saturday afternoon. FINALLY...got to try this new Lao restaurant and it was good! It was a drive for us but this has been on my Yelp list since they opened. The ambiance is setup like a lounge/bar! There is so many options for the space and how they have it setup. Our waitress mentioned the bar just opened and will be selling cocktails as well. I'm not a drinker so this review is not about that. The food was good! Portions are shareable and come with plenty. Hubby and I had a lot to take home. The food is very affordable, which I love! Highly recommend the Lucky 7 Platter! It comes with everything! A breakdown is in the menu I posted. The sauces that come with the dish is BOMB! The Kapoon was a special menu item! So happy they had it when I went bc it's my FAVORITE! It reminds me of my mother in law's recipe! Just wish they had more veggies! Overall we had a great time and experience! Food was good! We just happened to drop in on this place because we attempted to go to the brunch spot across the lot and we couldn't get in without a reservation. Lucky for us, we found this lounge. Our server was awesome! We were in Vegas to celebrate my mom's 80th birthday. It came up in conversation and our server kept it in mind. Tried this spot out last night and went for the platter that had a little bit of everything - papaya salad, fried pork, fried chicken, fermented pork, steamed pork, and grilled meatballs. The papaya salad was at spice level 7 and it hit just right, though it was a little sour. The fried pork was tasty too, though the fried pork came out raw inside. We chose the Lao Spicy Sausage, Riblets, and Thum Mak Thang (cucumber salad).It was my first time have cucumber instead of papaya and it was yummy. We got a level 7 but next time I will try spicier. My Laos friend can handle a level 10, so I am working my way up to her spice level. Lao spice is a whole another level!! Lol. Our server was very informative and she checked back multiple times. We came in on a Wednesday night around 7pm and there was 1 other table. The host is also the server and she was really nice! We ordered the lucky 7 platter ($49.99) and the c3 seafood combo ($59.99). For the platter we ordered it with Laos papaya salad at a 5/10 spice and the seafood combo at a mild in c3 style. The papaya salad was sooo spicy for a 5/10 but the flavors were good. Everything on the platter tasted good in my opinion, but felt kind of small for $50. I also felt it was weird that the platter didn't come with any sauces to dip the meat. On the menu, if you order the meats on their own, they each come with a dipping sauce but none of that came with the platter. I wouldn't recommend anyone come here for the seafood boil. The seafood felt reheated and not fresh and the c3 sauce just isn't that good. It felt like there wasn't much flavor besides some cajun dust sprinkled on top. There definitely also isn't enough sauce given for the seafood combo. Everything just felt lightly coated with nothing to dip the seafood back into. We went in and only one gentleman was in there. Perfect, no sitting issues. Our server was Tamara, who was very friendly and inviting. My sister and I shared the 2 person seafood boil with an extra lobster. My dad had a salmon dish with rice. My mom, drunken noodles and my younger sister a rice dish. We all ordered oysters. My dad was the first to taste the oysters with the sauce, which was hot. He YELPED, but said it was good. She bought out some mild sauce. The oysters were very fresh. We all wished we ordered the 12 piece. We got the medium sauce boil. Everything was fresh and good. We had the Thai tea. My first time it was good. We were also given shrimp chips. We shared the mango rice dessert. OMG, it was so comforting and good. Delicious. Tamara bought out some birthday ice cream and the Dj announced her birthday, played a birthday song. Even the owner came out. They had a full bar, huge TVs for sports, Dj, karaoke and different activities. We were comfortable. We will be back and may make it our new family spot to get out. We were craving seafood boil but had an early afternoon flight. This was one of the few places we saw that opened early enough for us to eat and make our flight on time. We arrived shortly before they opened so had to wait a minute before the waitress came to get us seated. We ordered the Vegas Feast combo (2 pounds of Shrimp, Crawfish, Mussels, Clams, and Snow crab legs, 6 corn, 6 potatoes, 24 pieces of sausage, 3 eggs, 2 orders of fries, and 4 Orders of steamed rice), lao papaya platter (Chicken wings, Lao sausage, Riblets, Nam, Pork loaf, Vermicelli noodles, Veggies with a side of shrimp crackers), fried pork belly and yum talay. I didn't even realize it then but our seafood combo was missing the sausages, fries and rice. We really enjoyed the lao papaya platter, pork belly and yum talay. The wings, lao sausage and riblets were well seasoned and very tasty. The pork loaf was pretty bland. The nam was different than what we are used to but not awful. The seafood boil was awful. Definitely one of our least favorite boils we have tried. It tasted like they either overcooked or reheated leftovers. There was no flavor to the seafood itself. We chose the C3 flavor for the boil and it just tasted like cajun season was sprinkled on top. The only thing that helpes were the delicious sauces! We loved the tamarind sauce the most. I could put their sauces over everything! The lao food, those sauces and service were what brought the stars up to a 3. If I were to base my review on the seafood boil alone, I would give this place a 1. It looks like a cool lounge so if we were to come back we would definitely stick to the lao food! read more

We also got the lao papaya but this time it was a miss... first bite was good but then the more I ate it, it was missing something, was able to get sugar & limes to doctor it up, but still just blah, hope they can keep up with consistency all across the board, thats what will keep me coming back. This place looks like a hole in the wall on the outside but once you entered the front door, it opened up into a cool restaurant with modern and cool vibes! I have heard good things about this place so we decided to uo check it out and we were not disappointed! It was pretty empty when we went for lunch on a Sunday but that's because it seems the time to be there is in the evenings when they have different entertainment for different nights: comedy night, karaoke and special events etc. The place has a cool club/lounge vibes (hence the name i suppose). Modern, cool Thai music and big, open space. The lady server was nice and greeted us when we entered. We were seated right away cuz we were the only ones there. We ordered the: 1. one of each of the grilled skewers except for the beef sticks (they ran out feom the night before). The baby octopus, squid, pork and meatballs had really nice grilled flavors and quite tasty. The dipping sauce (jeow) that came with it was too salty for us so we did not enjoy that. Other than that. the skewers were delicious, esp the squid which was tender and not chewy. 2. Lao beef jerky: very flavorful and delicious. You can taste the lemongrass and spices . Definitely would order this again. 3. Beef larb with 2 thai chilis as rhe spice level: It was not hot at all and needed some tartness to it which was taken care of after we asked for some lemon and lime to add to it. It was good but I would have liked it to be more authentic in flavors cuz it was a little mild for me. But it was still very good! 3. Lao papaya salad: This was flavorful andI wished I went higher in spice level cuz 2 thai chilis were just not cutting it. The flavors are outstanding and quite authentic. We really enjoyed this too and really liked the shrimp chips that came with it. It was presented quite cutely too. 3. We ordered 2 orders of sticky rice cuz they were on the smaller side. Their desserts look good too but my diabetes would not appreciate it so I stuck to 1 scoop of vanilla ice cream. I wish they would consider adding coconut ice cream to their selection cuz that would finish off the meal wonderfully. The scoop is also on a smaller side, so don't expect much for $3/scoop sadly. Overall, the meal was superb in flavors. We finished everything although their portions were just enough for 2 people and their prices are reasonable!
