Diamond Pho is a brand new Vietnamese restaurant in a plaza on South rainbow and blue diamond in the Southwest part of Las Vegas, Vegas. It's only been open a couple of months and I went there a couple of weeks after they first open to try some pho. They serve what they call a Hanoi style pho and some street food dishes. At this visit, I did try the combo pho, egg rolls, and their steak and eggs. Everything was good, nothing stood out too much as being exceptional or way better than other spots, and prices seem average to high. It is a newer area though so makes sense. The inside is pretty small. I don't think it seats ton of people. It's pretty simple. They have a TV going and tables for two or four. Service was good. Overall solid spot for the more south ish south west part of town. I'd give this spot closer to a 4.5 read more

I wanted to give this place a try since it's new. I ordered the combination pho, but for a combination pho, it was missing a lot of the usual ingredients. The to-go Sriracha sauce wasn't even real Sriracha--it was an imitation, and it made the pho taste sour, but not in a good way. The other dish I ordered was the banh xeo. It was super soggy, mushy, and mostly filled with bean sprouts. At $17, it definitely wasn't worth it. Stopped in and tried the combo pho and the chicken & shrimp vermicelli. First impressions: the interior is really nice- clean, well done, better than you'd expect for the area! The pho broth was very clear and clean-tasting, not salty at all, which I appreciated- though it leaned a little bland for my taste. Could've used a bit more depth. The vermicelli was the winner for me, especially the chicken. Service was a little slow considering we were the only ones in the restaurant, but everyone was friendly. Overall a solid spot! The hubby and I were out running errands. The hubby wanted pho but wanted to try a new pho spot. So...we tried Diamond Pho! Service was good and very tentative. The decor was basic but CLEAN. As for food, price and portions I felt it was reasonably priced and big portions! My husband got combination pho. He said it had good flavor broth and was packed with a lot of protein! The noodles were cooked perfectly, not too hard or soft. If you know my husband he is a food critic, because he is a cook himself, so if he saids it's good IT'S GOOD! After a loong weekend I got sick and needed some comfort food after the doctors visit. Our other go-to pho restaurant wasn't open yet til 11. So we found Diamond Pho. I was a little skeptical about it because it was new and only had 13 reviews but hey it was 4.5 stars and we were hungry so there we were. We were immediately greeted by the nicest guy there, and we're told to seat anywhere we wanted. The place is new brand, soft opening, clean, simple and quaint. Even the entire shopping center was new cuz I've never seen it before till today.. so I bookmarked a few places. We ordered 2 pho tai with meatballs and it definitely hit the spot. Quality of the broth was flavorful and clear, very close to how my mama makes it, so we really enjoyed it. I didn't use any of the sriracha or hoisin today because I didn't want anything irritating my throat but I didn't even need it.. there was enough flavor packed in. Went here due to promising reviews. Not sure if it was an off day but we got Bom Bo hue and Combination pho. The bom bo hue broth was watered down, a bit different in color (way lighter) than what I think it's supposed to look like. Flavor tasted like it wasn't really it. The pho-- I wasn't a huge fan either. It tasted a bit light and lacked depth. It sorta reminded me of the instant pho powder you use to make the broth. I likely won't be back. read more

Finally, a pho spot I can keep coming back to because it's that good! The broth is what makes or breaks pho for me, and Diamond Pho absolutely nails it. The quality of the meat in the Pho Dac Biet was tender and delicious, and the vegetables were fresh and crisp. Beyond the food, the service and hospitality were outstanding. Gross. Dont listen to the AI reviews. Walked in and the server and a cook were in the kitchen crouched on the floor. I thought they were looking a a phone, when the noticed me they got up and it wasnt a phone, they were cutting meat on a dunnage rack 6in from the floor. The restaraunt was empty and the kitchen was clearly filthy. Food, pots and pans on the floor. Pho was greasy and not very hot. Great addition to the area. We've been a few times now since opening and are hooked. Good clean eats and everything here is good. The spring rolls are nice and fresh, the crispy rolls are addicting and while we haven't had this pho, we always opt for a broken rice becuase the plates are so good. I wanted to like this place so much but unfortunately pho broth was lacking. I got the combination pho and it was missing so many ingredients. Immediately I can tell the broth was off just by the color and clarity of the broth. It had half the amount of meat it should have had. There was no depth of flavor and tasted watered down. This was a $19 bowl of pho. At that price it should be much better I did love the grilled chicken spring roll. Their vinegar and fish sauce that they serve with the spring roll was the best I've had. Maybe there is potential in their other items but their broth is a no for me. Their service was ok. They gave members mark bottled water. One bottle at a time for two people. The space is very small, formerly the Cookie Plug. I'm surprised they actually fit a decent number of tables. I tried a variety of items on their menu, and everything was disappointing. - Banh knot: very soggy and mushy in texture - Spring rolls (pork, shrimp, chicken): hardly had any protein, way too much lettuce - BBQ pork and chicken vermicelli salad: for $18, there was a few pieces of protein which was pork. The chicken was missing. We had to flag the server and tell them to add more protein, which they did - Bun bo hue: Hardly any meat, the broth too sweet - Combo pho: The broth was very sweet, lacked depth, and didn't taste like it was made from scratch. I could be wrong, but I've had pho in Garden Grove/Westminster/Little Saigon in Orange County, CA for over 20 years I wish them well, but it's going to take a lot to succeed long term. There is no shortage of pho/Vietnamese restaurants in Vegas, but many many of them are mediocre with very high prices. I don't mind paying high prices, but the food better deliver. read more

This was hands down the best pho I've had in Vegas! I ordered the Pho Dac Biet. The portions are extremely generous, with plenty of noodles and meat but also tons of broth to accommodate. IMO, what sets this place apart are the thicker cuts of rare steak, brisket, and shank. The meats are super tender and delicious. The broth is super clean and tasty. My wife ordered the Com Tam Dac Biet, which was also quality. The grilled pork chop had a good char flavor and it came with all the usual stuff you want with your broken rice, including a small serving of broth!! 10/10 Would recommend and I'll be coming back next time I'm in town read more

I ordered a Pho Dac Biet to go. Just a small suggestion: it would be better if the noodles could be cooked before being placed in the to-go container. I really wanted to like this place because it's close and most of the reviews said it was good but unfortunately I was disappointed. I write this review not to criticize this place but in the hopes that there is improvement. I got the com tam dac biet, pho dac biet and the banh xeo. Twenty dollars for com tam and $20 for pho dac biet was really disappointing based on the quantity of food you get. There was barely any meat for the com tam and barely any bi (shredded pork skin) and the meat was really dry. For the pho dac biet meat was lacking as well and they even forgot the meatballs. Also, the soup was very bland. The $16 banh xeo was probably the best of everything as it was crispy. The only thing was again, barely any meat in it. It was mainly just bean sprouts. I have no problem paying$16 or $20 for an entree but it just has to be worth it and unfortunately I think this place has to step up its game if it wants to charge these prices. Super friendly service! My wife has food allergies so eating out is a challenge sometimes but they were so nice and helpful! I got the broken rice with grilled chicken breast. It was delicious and the dipping sauce was spicy which was a nice surprise. We also got the spring rolls and the beef salad. Everything was tasty and better than I expected for the price. I ordered the Cơm Tấm Đặc Biệt -- the Saigon Special Combination with charbroiled pork chop, baked egg, and a sunny-side up egg -- along with egg rolls. Everything came out hot and fresh. The employees were friendly and welcoming. The restaurant has a small, clean, family-owned atmosphere. They recommended that I try the pho the next time I visit. Horrible experience. Never ordering from here again. Employees were unprofessional that forget orders and make fun of the situation. I placed my order over the phone at 7:46pm. I received a text at 8pm saying the food is ready. I enter to see 2 tables of 2 at the end of their meals, see no food ready, and the cooks laughing about the orders they just realized were on the screen. The lady at the front, maybe 5'9 mid 20s, says 10 more min. I go back outside to wait and I get a second text at 8:09pm saying the food is ready. I come back in to see half my order bagged and the cooks in the back realizing they missed half the order. I see them urgently pull it out of the fridge and throw it on the grill as they joke and laugh in Vietnamese. They peak out the window and see me waiting and all they can do is laugh, joke with each other saying "doh ma" this and "doh ma" that, all smiles. I step outside to wait and get another text at 8:14pm saying that my food is ready. Cooks are still grilling the meat and the lady at the counter is just talking to them and joking and laughing along. I asked "what happened?" And she simply replied "it takes time." The lady grilling the meat was in her mid 50s and the 2 others (1 girl 1 boy) in their mid 20s, just kept laughing and joking in vietnamese as they finished up my order. Finally at 8:19pm I was handed the rest if my food. No eye contact, no apology, no explanation at all. Spring rolls were mediocre - they only give 1 tablespoon of sauce so it was finished before we even got to the 2nd roll Pho was ok - ok proprions, ok flavor Bun bo hue was very bland with not much meat. Good thing I asked for extra shrimp paste as I had to pour all of it in there just for it to be decent. read more

I honestly don't like pho all that much, but I was in the mood for the other foods often offered at Vietnamese restaurants, so I decided to try Diamond Pho since it's the closest Vietnamese restaurant to me. I got the combo plate and it was very good and service was fine. Biggest complaint is that the place is really small and I can see it getting jammed at peak hours. Came to Diamond Pho with a few of my Vietnamese friends who were excited about trying some comfort food! First things first, the egg rolls were absolutely incredible. Crispy, golden, and gone way too fast. I'm pretty sure our table collectively decided they were "for sharing" and then immediately forgot what sharing meant. We also ordered the shrimp cold noodles and the rare steak pho, and both were fantastic. The cold noodles were fresh, flavorful, and perfect for a warm day, while the rare steak pho hit that magical comfort-food sweet spot. Rich broth and tender steak. The service was also excellent. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. The only small disappointment? They were completely sold out of chicken. My friends had come specifically planning to order chicken dishes, so there was a brief moment of collective heartbreak at the table. On the other hand, if they're selling out, that's probably a sign that it's really good. Still, we were a little bummed. Overall, the food, service, and atmosphere more than made up for it.
