Of all the pho places I have tried, this place is offers a variety of traditional Vietnamese dishes! It is family owned and you can tell the quality of each dish They serve the best BUN RIEU of Las Vegas! The broth itself is so flavorful and they serve with crushed red Thai chilies on the side for extra spice. They also have the eggrolls with the traditional rice paper, so they are super crunchy! Paired with the vegetables on the side and the nouc cham (dipping sauce) sooo bomb! It's a hidden gem on Sahara and Rainbow, every time I come here the restaurant is busy, and the ambiance is cozy. Pho sing sing from the outside looks very unassuming. Inside, you'll find it to be the same with menus that have handwritten prices. Staff are super friendly and conversational. The pho here is on the sweeter side which may be due to regional differences. The pho was delicious though. Ended up at Pho Sing Sing with my mom for dinner last night. Tucked away in the plaza at the corner of Rainbow & Sahara (Southeast corner). Lots of parking. Free. Most of the establishments in the plaza appeared to be closed so the lot was empty. I don't know what it's like during the day during business hours. Walk in - heed the sign about holding the door until it closes. Door basically would have shut on me had I not caught it in time. I don't think it's intentional as there's a handwritten note on the door but make sure you don't get yourself caught as it swings shut. Empty. One party in the place. Appeared to be a two person show. While one handles the kitchen, the other the FOH. The gentleman who helped my mom and I, was friendly. Efficient. Nice. Remember, place was empty. Three more parties came in before we left but it was pretty quiet. Food was ok. My dish (Broken Rice) - dry and small portions. See pics. I didn't think to take a pic of the pork but you might get an idea from the egg. My experience with this dish - the egg has always been runny or slightly jammy. Small portion for the Spring Roll as well. When I bit into it, the pork portion was so small I had to dissect the roll to find the piece. There was a sliver of pork - I should have taken a pic of that - but it was thin - take a few sheets of paper together thin. I would have enjoyed my dish had it not been dry as the flavors were fine. Overall, its a nice and small local spot. Inside is your classic vietnamese styled resturant. Ive always came here as a little kid, so the staff are very friendly. Service is also pretty quick, as there's not many people here. I don't really eat here often, but i love to pick up their Beef Jerky that they sell daily. It has a nice kick of spice whenever you eat it, pairs well with some rice too. I'm a bit sad that this place is going to close soon. read more

AMAZING! One of the best viet places I've ever been to. My boyfriend is Viet and this tastes just as good as his mom's homemade meals. The menu is handwritten and authentic, fairly priced for the amount of food they give you. The staff is very nice, it's family owned and they've been open for around 20 years! The bun bo hue is my absolute fav, it is so rich, generous amount of meat, and not too spicy. The broth is more on the rich and savory side, i added just a lil fish sauce and lime and it was perfect! The veggies are fresh and washed and perfectly crispy. Pho broth is well prepared, you can tell it's been boiled for a long time, even without condiments it is rich and flavorful. Noodles are cooked welll. The vermicelli noodles were so refreshing, the spring roll outside layer was made out of rice paper than the traditional egg wrapper, the nuoc mam was so good and so fresh. When my nail tech (a really lovely Vietnamese lady) told me to try Pho Sing Sing, saying it was'authentic', I had to give it a go! My daughter loved her seafood Pho and my son and I enjoyed our # 15 & 16 (bun thit nuong with the vermicelli noodles and lots of fish sauce)! The staff were friendly and the food was delicious and if I'm in the area and have a taste for Vietnamese, I'd return. And maybe it's more traditional than other places but overall, I still prefer my OG location which is also closer to home. read more

Huge parking lot, located in a massive shopping center off of spring mountain. Once you enter you are immediately greeted and seated at a table with a number on it. Menu is readily available. Tried the vermicelli bowl (chicken comes with one cut up egg roll), the egg roll appetizer comes with lettuce, mint, pickled carrot and other yumminess and a dipping sauce, and a beef noodle pho (small size). Everything was so flavorful and filling. The small pho and vermicelli bowl was plenty to share between two. Chicken wings were good and the fresh rolls were too. Citrus table water is a nice touch. Pho was ok, we were first in, so maybe the broth married more during the day?. Hidden place for some good Viet food! Wifey & I ended up at Pho Sing Sing one day because we wanted some Viet without the traffic on Spring Mountain! Got there and the place was pretty much empty except for 3 other tables, but glad we stayed! Sat down and tried: -03 Goi Cuon - Shrimp and Pork Roll -Special Hu Tiew Ca - Fish Noodle Soup -21 Com Tam Bi Thit Nuong Opla - Shredded Pork, Charbroiled Pork & Egg w Broken Rice Very good Shrimp and Pork Rolls! So addictive with that peanut sauce, wish the order came with more than 2 rolls! I would have ate half a dozen myself! Wifey had the Fish Noodle Soup Special, she really liked it! It's different! But what made it was their pho broth! Their broth is super flavorful, salty but not overly so! Tender fish, good crunch with the addition of bean sprouts. Add a squeeze of lime for a good time! I often opt for broken rice dishes in Viet restaurants over pho because I love my rice. And Pho Sing Sing was no different! Their Shredded Pork, Charbroiled Pork & Egg w Broken Rice dish was very good! Mix some pork with that runny egg over a bite of rice, with some of their house fish sauce? OMG so tasty! They never came back to check on us so I go to cashier to pay and it's almost $20 for one bowl of rare steak pho...that's it! She gave me an excuse that is what the owners said to do, when I know damn well she's the owner. They have the audacity to not disclose this information A. And B. This is my go-to Vietnamese restaurant! They have really good everything! I usually come for the banh canh tom cua (crab and shrimp udon noodle soup,) but I found out they have the best pho and bun rieu as well. I also discovered they make bot chien (fried rice flour cake) I haven't had that since childhood, only my grandma and mom made it. I never ordered it from a restaurant. And they do not disappoint, it brings you joy and reminds you of home. They also have a homemade chili paste, that's so spicy, it takes your soul but in a good way. They sell this in a jar! This place is a hole in the wall restaurant. They were considered the best of Vegas pho in 2015 according to the articles they posted around. Maybe we came on a good night or got lucky?? Monday night around 6pm, the place was 50% full? Apparently there's vegan pho too. It's a good sign when you enter into a restaurant with what looks like 3 aunties chatting it up and then serving us. With a larger group of Vietnamese elders coming in for dinner behind us. $13.99 (+$3 XL) Pho Beef Noodle Soup - Meat quality was better than expected. The broth was a bit sweeter but it hit the spot. $17.99 Banh Canh Tom Cua (Udon noodle soup w/crab, shrimp, pork). - Super flavorful. I got this because of all the Yelp tips about this. Some reviewers mentioned soups to not be flavorful but we experienced it differently. Maybe we just got lucky? We've tried maybe 3 other places for pho and haven't found a beef pho place we liked. This is going to be our spot until otherwise. Tips from other reviewers.. - Hygiene, sticky menu....the menus could be sticky but so far hygiene was normal hope in wall standards when we visited this time? Maybe they cleaned up more? - Double check there isn't any over charging. There is a 30% charge for using a credit card. "Sometimes we create our own heartbreaks through expectation." This is the best quote I could've used to describe the experience here at Pho Sing Sing. Food was mediocre at BEST, service was ok, hygiene is awful, and value was terrible. The short and sweet: Go ANYWHERE else for Pho in Las Vegas, and it will be better. For the sake of your stomach, your wallet, and your tolerance to restaurant hygiene, do not come here. I cannot recommend any other Pho place in Las Vegas, but still, it will be better than Pho Sing Sing. In the beautiful city of Las Vegas, good Pho is very, very hard to find. Actually, still haven't found good Pho in Las Vegas. Pho from the west coast in areas such as San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Gabriel with busting Asian culture and people have AMAZING Pho which will spoil anybody. Pho Sing Sing is located in a strip mall off Sahara and Rainbow right behind a Turkish Food restaurant. Upon entering, you notice a sign that says, "No credit or debit cards". USUALLY, that's a sign that the food is going to be good, as restaurants that don't accept electronic payments are old-fashioned. Upon entry, the lady inside waves you to sit down wherever you like, and hands you a menu. The menu has some crazy prices for what you get. For (4) egg rolls it costs $9.99. A "normal" sized combination Pho was $13.99. An order of Lemongrass chicken and rice was also $13.99. A quick comparison of price is at Sidestreet Pho and Grill, a combination Pho around the same size is $11.99, Lemongrass chicken was $10.99, and (4) egg rolls are $6.99. Then the hygiene...oh boy. Trust me when I say I usually tolerate hygiene to a certain extent if the food is amazing. That was not the case here at Pho Sing Sing. Before coming here and reading other reviews, I thought it was an exaggeration, but it was not. Hygiene and sanitation concerns: #1. The male server would pick up dishes after customers leave, put away the dirty dishes, then dip his hands into a red sanitary bucket, and wipe his hands with a towel. #2. The male server would take the same towel he dried his hands with, dip it into the same red sanitary bucket, and wipe down tables with the towel. #3. At no time did the red sanitary bucket ever have its contents emptied. HOPEFULLY, the male server washed his hands in the back prior to serving customers. #4. Finally, upon receiving chopsticks and a spoon, what looks like a greasy noodle from a previous customer fell onto my hand. Do note, I've been to some places in the past where the food wasn't kept in amazing condition as the restaurants were old-fashioned, but at least the utensils were clean! Now for the food itself, there isn't much good to say. The egg rolls were small, and somehow very dry. The Nuoc Cham dipping sauce was just lightly sweet with no acidity and did not help the egg rolls. The male server came by and told us how to eat it by putting an egg roll into lettuce, carrot, and cucumber. That was nice of him but did not improve the dish a whole lot. The worst offender was the lemongrass chicken. The chicken thigh meat was 30% grizzle, and what was edible just tasted like burnt chicken. There was no flavor to the meat, no flavor to the char, and no lemongrass flavor. It felt like what soul there was in the chicken just flew off, and became sadness in a solid form. The Pho was OK. The soup base was not terrible but was lacking soul somehow, lacking a solid foundation. The annoying part was the severe lack of noodles. It seems at most there was half a pack of rice noodles at the most inside the soup. The meatballs were mediocre, there were maybe two pieces of flank and brisket, and 4 pieces of thinly sliced steak. Very meh. Overall, do yourself a favor and go anywhere. Avoid the show of questionable hygiene that might make you sick depending on your tolerance. I tried my best to enjoy the food here, but too many factors including hygiene prevented that. You can find much better Pho elsewhere in Las Vegas, at least in comparison to Pho Sing Sing. read more

We've been searching for a nice pho place, and this place is probably in the top 5 in Vegas. It was very homey and welcoming. It definitely gives a mom and pop vibe- from the menu graphics to the hospitality. We wanted to get pennywort, but it wasn't in season-- so the owner suggested a passion fruit drink instead. It had basil seeds, mango, jelly, strawberries, and other cut up fruits and toppings. What I really like about the pho was that they were super generous with adding the beef balls. Most places just throw in a few 1/4th cut balls, and load it with noodles. This place gave me like 12 pieces of half cut beef balls. It was great! 3 1/2 Stars: Quick lunch with a co worker. Pho soup was delicious and it reminded me of a restaurant in SD that I love. The soup is a little sweeter than other Vietnamese restaurants. Not a crazy huge menu selection which is perfect. My friend had the special pho while I had the egg rolls and a bowl of Pho Soup. The rolls were amazingly delicious but the service was slow.
