Ended up at Pho Sing Sing with my mom for dinner last night. Tucked away in the plaza at the corner of Rainbow & Sahara (Southeast corner). Lots of parking. Free. Most of the establishments in the plaza appeared to be closed so the lot was empty. I don't know what it's like during the day during business hours. Walk in - heed the sign about holding the door until it closes. Door basically would have shut on me had I not caught it in time. I don't think it's intentional as there's a handwritten note on the door but make sure you don't get yourself caught as it swings shut. Empty. One party in the place. Appeared to be a two person show. While one handles the kitchen, the other the FOH. The gentleman who helped my mom and I, was friendly. Efficient. Nice. Remember, place was empty. Three more parties came in before we left but it was pretty quiet. Food was ok. My dish (Broken Rice) - dry and small portions. See pics. I didn't think to take a pic of the pork but you might get an idea from the egg. My experience with this dish - the egg has always been runny or slightly jammy. Small portion for the Spring Roll as well. When I bit into it, the pork portion was so small I had to dissect the roll to find the piece. There was a sliver of pork - I should have taken a pic of that - but it was thin - take a few sheets of paper together thin. I would have enjoyed my dish had it not been dry as the flavors were fine. Overall, it was ok for me. If I do make a return visit, I'll try the Pho. I almost did but called an audible at the last second.

Overall, its a nice and small local spot. Inside is your classic vietnamese styled resturant. Ive always came here as a little kid, so the staff are very friendly. Service is also pretty quick, as there's not many people here. I don't really eat here often, but i love to pick up their Beef Jerky that they sell daily. It has a nice kick of spice whenever you eat it, pairs well with some rice too. I'm a bit sad that this place is going to close soon.

Wow. I just happened to stumble into this place. Some of the best pho I ever had. The broth was amazing and the egg rolls were really good too

This Vietnamese place serves the best Vietnamese coffee in town. The coffee wasn't too sweet or bitter. The shaken beef dish is great. The texture of the beef is delicious it feels like it melts on your mouth. The service was good; the lady that took our orders was vattentive and gave us options. We will definitely be coming back!

Bun mam If you know you know. Hella good!

Really good food and really cute service - fast and efficient. Never saw a Viet place with bun mam on the menu, and this dish is Southern Vietnamese deliciousness! Gotta eat super spicy.

Probably the best pho I've ever had. The broth was rich, buttery, beefy, and still light. There was a good portion meats and they were pretty good too

AMAZING! One of the best viet places I've ever been to. My boyfriend is Viet and this tastes just as good as his mom's homemade meals. The menu is handwritten and authentic, fairly priced for the amount of food they give you. The staff is very nice, it's family owned and they've been open for around 20 years! The bun bo hue is my absolute fav, it is so rich, generous amount of meat, and not too spicy. The broth is more on the rich and savory side, i added just a lil fish sauce and lime and it was perfect! The veggies are fresh and washed and perfectly crispy. Pho broth is well prepared, you can tell it's been boiled for a long time, even without condiments it is rich and flavorful. Noodles are cooked welll. The vermicelli noodles were so refreshing, the spring roll outside layer was made out of rice paper than the traditional egg wrapper, the nuoc mam was so good and so fresh. Definitely will be coming back, such an underrated place! Place was clean as well as the bathrooms!

Best Pho in town! A quaint mom and pop shop that is calming on a Sunday afternoon. All the food is wonderful and the service is great. This is our favorite spot! We'll be back

I must have been Asian in another lifetime! I love Thai, Japanese Vietnamese, Korean, Chinese and Filipino food so much that I can eat it almost every day! When my nail tech (a really lovely Vietnamese lady) told me to try Pho Sing Sing, saying it was'authentic', I had to give it a go! My daughter loved her seafood Pho and my son and I enjoyed our # 15 & 16 (bun thit nuong with the vermicelli noodles and lots of fish sauce)! The staff were friendly and the food was delicious and if I'm in the area and have a taste for Vietnamese, I'd return. And maybe it's more traditional than other places but overall, I still prefer my OG location which is also closer to home.

Ask the Community - Pho Sing Sing

Do they use styrofoam containers for food for delivery?

They are temporary closed due to "electrical problems"?

Is the vermicelli with tofu and veggies prepared in a vegetable broth, I'm looking for a vegetarian option?

You can get whatever broth you want, and yes they have a vegetarian broth.

I looked at the menu on-line and I am not seeing vegetarian pho - is it called something else? Or would I have to ask specially for it?

I am actually eating at Pho Sing Sing right now and asked the server. She states to ask for vegetarian version. It has carrots.. cauliflower..tofu..etc. sounds pretty yummy. I hope this helps.

The best price in this area for a combination pho (pick up to 3 meats). They also have curry chicken (ca ri ga) which I can't often find. Even with ordering late, the food was good. Each item was large enough to last me 2 meals each. The only thing is the bean sprouts didn't look fresh, but that was on me for having to order so late and I'm really picky about veggies being fresh. Staff were nice and didn't give me any attitude for the late order. Restaurant looked clean and spacious. Next time I'll dine in.

You can sit wherever you like, and the staff is always friendly and accommodating--even when my whole family shows up with a party of eight! They always keep up with our orders and make sure everyone is taken care of. I usually order combination pho at most Vietnamese restaurants, but Sidestreet completely won me over with their Ribeye Pho. The ribeye is sliced super thin and incredibly tender. You get your bowl of noodles and broth, and then you also get a broth separately on a side burner, so you can dip the ribeye in as you eat. It keeps the meat perfectly tender and your soup piping hot. The broth is flavorful and hits the spot for me. Especially when I am not feeling good. And you cant forget the starters! Their fresh spring rolls and crispy egg rolls are also a must-try. Our family gets both everytime. On my last visit, I treated myself to a Thai tea instead of my usual tri-color dessert, and wow--it was one of the best Thai teas I've had in a long time. It absolutely hit the spot!

The tide may finally be turning for good Vietnamese food in Vegas…read more This new-ish restaurant, sometimes called VT Mania or Pho & More (or VT Mania Pho & More), has a very small Yelp presence and is perched unassumingly on the second floor of the Pacific Asian Plaza on Spring Mountain. That's the plaza which others may know more for being the home of the smaller SF Supermarket, or both Sushi Neko and its younger sister Neko Supremo. This spot is above Supremo, and ideally you'll wanna park in the small uphill parking lot that's the same height as the second floor. I was born into the Vietnamese diaspora and have experienced some of the best of what California has to offer. Since moving to the Vegas area over a decade ago, I've tried Vietnamese restaurants here. Very few have come close to approaching the variety or quality of what I know great Vietnamese food can be. But when I ordered the Pho Dac Biet ($17.00) here today, I was surprised to find myself enjoying it more and more with every slurp of broth and bite of the various proteins. A small squeeze of lime helped a lot even though the broth wasn't on the sweet side. The spice profile lingered even after I left the place. Most of the meats were great except for the rare steak tasting a bit bland. My main issues were the basil portion feeling a little stingy, the overall portion also feeling pricey (it's not a large bowl), and the flank steak not being cut into small enough pieces. Those hunks were way out of proportion compared to the quartered meatballs and everything else. I also noticed a happy hour special masquerading as lunch: two specific grilled pork entrees offered at a discount 2-6pm on weekdays. I took home a Banh Mi Thit Nuong ($3.99 special price) for dinner. The marinade is strong enough and sweet and there may be some very slight charring, which makes a huge difference in the rare cares I get it in one of these sandwiches. The other ingredients are fresh enough. It is a justifiable buy at regular price ($7.00), but is an unbeatable deal when discounted. Pho & More is a huge step in the right direction for a Vegas Viet food scene that is seemingly in perpetual failure to launch. This is the strongest recommendation I have to give for something that is not a real 5-star spot: please go and support them if you want the Vietnamese food scene to succeed here, get a good bowl of pho and/or a cheap weekday grilled pork dish, and maybe gasp at the actual durian in their fridge while you're at it.
