I ordered some Pho and some spring rolls to go. Taylor helped get my order ready & was very nice! The restaurant looks like a nice, fun, and clean place to eat in, but, it's just easier to get this to go as this location is close to home and I'm taking care of a sick spouse. We got a vegetarian pho, rib-eye pho and tofu spring rolls. We both enjoyed our soups & spring rolls. Everything from the broth to all the ingredients were fresh & flavorful. Perfect balance of spice & flavor. I highly recommend!

I enjoyed the eggrolls tonight and I liked it that the lettuce is already included in the order. The crispy fried noodle with chicken and vegetables are tasty and I always love the edges where it's is not soaked with gravy. Our waiter is prompt in taking our orders and our food arrived promptly as well. Very attentive staff. This restaurant is always full, a very popular spot at this side of town and I think the only Vietnamese restaurant around this area. It is a very relaxing night with Christmas songs played in the background. However hubby is sick of hearing Christmas songs after 10 minutes. lol

Pho with Rare steak and Tendon. Rare on the side.

Another review and this time egg noodle with soup on the side. Other than price higher than others, portion is adequate. Nice portioned if nears, noodles, and vegetables. New owner has done well with the flavors.

This place offers quite affordable food for the price. I got a Thai tea and found it to be quite expensive but good. The garlic noodles had a nice flavor and the beef was thinly sliced and tender. The service was friendly and the food was served quick. The restaurant was clean but difficult to get to based on its parking lot configuration.

Been passing this spot a few times and we finally made it for lunch. We went on a Thursday afternoon and while the you can't tell from the outside how busy it is since the windows are pretty shaded, there were quite a few patrons already sitting inside. While we were there, a few more people came in, so this is a good sign. We ordered 2 of the "make your own Pho" where you can pick up to 3 different protein choices (all beef, didn't see chicken). For a small size (there are 2 sizes), each bowl is actually quite filling and it is a good price for a small ($15.99). The Pho was a 3/5: While it is good, I find it bland, doesn't have the depth that we liked comparing to another restaurant we often frequent. If there some depth in the flavors, I think we would definitely give it a 4 star. Another reason for the 3 star is: The spring rolls were expensive. We saw the price and thought, ok, it is expensive but maybe it is excellent, so we went ahead and ordered it. It was $10.99 for 2 rolls and they were just like any other spring rolls, with lots of lettuce, vermicelli and some boiled pork and shrimp. The sauce was also okay. For 2 "okay" rolls, I find the pricing was too much. That's about $5-something per roll and I didn't think they were that worth it. They staff is very friendly and the place is clean. And while the "make your own Pho" was cheaper than most places but the broth was lacking depth and the spring rolls were just okay to be so expensive. This was a miss, not a hit for me.

Clean restaurant with nice and friendly staff. We ordered rare steak pho and vermicelli with grilled pork (they have multiple meat option). Food came out within 4 minutes of order, very quick. I love the vermicelli. The meat here is not over seasoned, egg roll is not burnt and still hot when food came out. Pho broth is clear, but too much five spice scent for me. But that's just personal preference.

I've been coming to Side Street Pho and Grill for over 3-4 years now, and honestly, I don't know what took me so long to write a review because this place never disappoints. The food is consistently flavorful, beautifully presented, and clearly crafted with care and intention. You can taste the quality in every bite. From the moment I walk in, I'm greeted with friendly, professional service -- they're quick to bring water, take my order, and make sure I'm taken care of. The restaurant is always clean, the music and vibes are just right, and the atmosphere makes you want to stay awhile. My personal go-to? The pork bánh mì and the fried egg rolls -- chef's kiss! I love the freshness of the veggies and how thoughtfully the plate is put together. Also, their Thai tea is a must! So smooth and perfectly sweet. Oh, and today they even brought me a slice of watermelon at the end of my meal, which was such a sweet and thoughtful touch. Whether you're in the area or willing to make the trip (trust me, it's worth it), you will not be disappointed. This place holds a special place in my heart -- and their bánh mìs? Yeah, they live rent-free in my head I'll definitely be back again and again until I've tried every single dish on the menu.

Went for lunch and it was pretty empty for noon on a Saturday. Ordered c3 pork rice dish with a side of shrimp paste wrapped in tofu. And a chicken curry with baguette. The shrimp paste wrapped in tofu was amazing and tasted so fresh. Their rice dish was on point, definitely getting both again. The chicken in the chicken curry was very soft and pulled apart very easily. Very flavorful. Baguette was soft, the outer layer was crisp but still tender. Would highly recommend it. Bought shrimp spring rolls, the wrapper is a little chewy but the basil flavor was nice. Also bought Banh mi to go, but unfortunately completely forgot to take it out. Left it at the restaurant so couldn't try it. It was in a small box. Thai tea was refreshing. Loved the fresh coconut. Definitely coming back, there's a lot of dishes I'll like to try.

Came here from a recommendation of a coworker. I got the S01 w/ BBQ Pork Very very good, clean and light and topped it off with a Vietnamese coffee to carry through the rest of the work night. I would come again and will likely try their pho. The staff were very pleasant with happy energy.

New management and thought to check it out! This location has been here for a while, so I'm used to the previous quality. The broth is very tasty yet very oily. Walked in and was immediately greeted. We were shown where to sit and began to order the usual. We ordered seafood pho, beef pho, coffee, egg rolls and fresh lime soda. Unfortunately the fresh lime soda was made with lemons and the black coffee my aunt ordered was Vietnamese coffee. Despite making it clear that she wanted a simple coffee, was told that she would receive just a black coffee, and was charged with a Vietnamese coffee. Both drinks were good. Just not what we ordered. When the side of bean sprouts and herbs arrived, we only got one lime for two orders of pho. Extra limes would have been nice! Overall, the food was good and the experience was fast and simple. A bit on the pricey side. So I recommend looking up the menu beforehand!

This place has some amazing Pho!!! I've been craving a good Pho for the past few months! My husband and I decided to stop by Sidestreet Pho and Grill for lunch, around 11:00 A.M on a Saturday morning. Sidestreet Pho and Grill is located between Durango and Desert Inn Road. It's next to a few businesses such as Joy Burgers and Easy Life Boba. There is a spacious amount of parking spots available. As soon as we walked into the restaurant, a team member greeted us and walked us over to an open table near the window. There were only a few customers inside the restaurant at the time. Once we sat down, menus were provided. The interior is beautiful. The tables looked like they were of marble pattern. The bar area had some Buddha statues! We waited about 5 minutes and then one of the team members came over to our table to take our order. Chicken Pho (Large) ($17.00) Bahn Mi (Lemongrass Chicken) (Approx. $11.00) My Chicken Pho came out immediately!! I was in awe at how fast it was prepared! The beef broth with the chicken was so good! The chicken was tender and juicy! The chicken itself didn't have too much flavoring. The Broth was scrumptious, though! There were so many rice noodles in the large pho. My husband ended up finishing the meal for me! The Banh Mi came out about 10 minutes later. All of the ingredients were cooked fresh to order. The bread felt like it was just baked! The lemongrass chicken was tender and was packed with flavor! The Do Chua consisted of pickled carrots and daikon! There was also jalapeno, cilantro, cucumber, and mayo! My husband would order it again! Portions were large! The food was slightly expensive, but the food quality and quantity were totally worth it! I would stop by here again if I'm in the area and craving some Pho!

It's delicious! Visited Las Vegas this weekend and was craving for some Vietnamese food away from the strip. Coming from Orange country,we're used to good food. Food here was great! The staff was very helpful. We loved the decor inside. Just like the side streets you can find in Vietnam

How do I drink the Vietnamese coffee? Hot or cold, what is the best way?

I prefer cold. If you order Vietnamese coffee, you may receive it while it is still brewing along with condensed milk and a glass of ice. Once the brew is done, pour the condensed milk into your glass and the coffee brew over it (or vice versa). Use… Read more

It is located in a strip mall with an abundance of convenient parking. Inside, they had nice tables and bench seating and also had a couple of nice sized round tables with lazy Susans for larger families. We arrived around 7:30-ish and it was quiet with one or two other parties dining. Their take-out business appeared to be robust, which was a good sign that they must be doing something right with their offerings. Menu is pretty standard fair. Noodles in broth with beef shank, various dumplings, rice plates and dry noodle dishes. We started with the deep fried spring rolls which were tasty. The wrapping was very thin and delicate and had a nice crunch for each bite. There are six in an order, which is a great value. Wife ordered the Lucky Beef Noodle which has a mildly spicy broth. She asked for half the normal amount of noodles, as she feels that the noodles end up soaking up a lot of broth. I ordered the Beef Soup with Dumplings, which is basically what my wife ordered without the noodles. I wanted noodles added, so they were gracious and added the noodles my wife did not want to my order. The broth was flavorful and mild, not much of a kick. But the pork and cabbage dumplings included in my order were out of this world delicious and paired perfectly with the beef and its broth. I highly recommend this specific dish! If you are in search for Taiwanese food, give them a shot. Good quality, fresh food that is nicely flavored!

We didn't really look into it, but saw that they had udon which my son loves. Everything was delicious and freshly made. I kept telling my husband, "This place is legit!" From the Japanese chefs and kind waitress, to the music, and, of course, the food. The ohitashi was a nice start with just the right amount of dashi to bring out the flavors of the veggies. I had the kimchi udon hot pot which comes with pork. I thought it was going to be slices of pork, but it was actually chashu that you would find in ramen! The chashu was tender and the broth was amazing. When I say amazing, it wasn't overly salty where it makes you feel bloated afterwards. My husband enjoyed his salmon avocado poke bowl as well. Our waitress and waiter were both very nice. Service is great here. I have no complaints regarding that! I started by ordering their Hot Tea Pot in the Genmaicha Tea, which is refillable ($3). The tea was good. I must've had it refilled about three times. The husband got the Asahi draft. For the food orders, we started with the cholegi salad, takoyaki, and chicken karaage. While the cholegi salad was good, I'd have to say I've had better chicken karaage elsewhere. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to skip the chicken karaage next time. It was lacking in flavor so I asked for table salt to sprinkle on top of it. For the main dish, our party ordered beef sukiyaki udon, tendon, tuna and avocado poke don, nabeyaki udon, and kake udon. Everyone enjoyed their entrees. For dessert, we got everything that was on the menu so that we could sample them. I particularly enjoyed their matcha pudding in that it was more than what the picture showed. There were layers of azuki beans and black sugar syrup underneath the green pudding. This one was my favorite! The sweet potato ice cream was the party's favorite. Overall, I really like the vibe of this restaurant. I'll be back again to try other things on the menu that I didn't get to try this time.
