I came here for the first time with my friends on a Sunday night. We had to make a reservation and you could tell it was a popular restaurant. Lighting is dim, the restaurant is lively and the ambiance feels very elegant as soon as you walk in. We ordered the patatas bravas (9.5/10), queso de cabra (9/10), Gambas al Ajillo (8/10), main course: Valencia Paella (10/10), drink: Apasionada Margarita (8/10), Sangria Blanca (8/10) and lastly dessert: basque cheesecake (9.5/10). Everyone loved the food, drinks and dessert. You can go downstairs to the bar before or after eating. When we went afterwards, the bar seemed crowded but we were able to get seats and order another round of drinks. The staff was beyond sweet, and very attentive. They even give a aesthetic postcard of the restaurant which was very unique. I'd absolutely come here again.

TikTok viral rarely turns out with quality, and unfortunately that's the case with Dalia. The host was as cold as the food (and a little sassy), the menu was overpriced, and the wine recs were basic. The sommelier came to our table because the wine we ordered was out of stock and gave us a rec for a good bottle similarly priced, but no discount or anything for the inconvenience. I don't know how, because the servers seemed like they were bringing food out as it was ready, but every bite was lukewarm (especially the churro and patatas bravas). The paella came out significantly later than everything else, and was pretty flavorless (not worth the wait.) Great spot for a photo opp, and not much more than that. When you're paying $200+ for dinner, you want it to at least taste good.

I wanted to try Dalia after seeing a bunch of tiktoks about it! It was much bigger inside than I initially thought, and I quite liked the decor. We tried the octopus carpaccio, pluma iberico pork, wagyu sliders, and valencia paella. Everything was pretty good, but I would recommend the sliders and paella the most! We also had sangria, which were refreshing and came in pretty large glasses!

dalia totally lived up to the hype and is worth the reservation war! the interior is stunning, it has a almost regal feel about it while also being very homey. I loved the moody ambiance that makes it perfect for a date night or night out with friends. Service was very attentive and friendly and gave many great recommendations. We started with the sangria - all three flavors are fantastic and HUGE (for $16 in boston this is a steal). Tapas take a modern unique take on Spanish classics. The patatas bravas, gambas, and goat cheese were all highlights (they are expensive for small plates I will say). For our main we had the Valencia paellla - this had everything I wanted as a seafood lover. So flavorful and crisp while not being dry. I cannot wait to take people here!

Been meaning to try this place since seeing videos prior to its launch and finally had the chance to this week at the chef's counter to celebrate my birthday. The ambiance is as beautiful as posts have shown and really enjoyed the kitchen seating while watching the coal fire cooking. If you're lucky like the couples near us, you may also get samples from the crudo station. Service was excellent between our server Sara and relatively expeditious kitchen staff. We ordered the crudo, matrimonio, patatas bravas, setas y huevo, pulpo and Valencia paella. The food was good but still on the search for a paella with socarrat. The dessert tarta tartin was our favorite and would impress even a banana hater. The drinks we ordered were good with the sangria rosada best if you want something sweet and fruity. Tldr: beautiful ambiance, excellent service, good food

Went to Dalia with a couple friends and had a really great experience. We made a reservation, showed up on time, and were seated right away. The space itself is absolutely gorgeous and way bigger than it looks from the outside. There are two bars, tons of seating, and an open kitchen in the middle of the restaurant. There were three of us, and we ordered the Tortilla Española, Patatas Bravas, Croquetas de Pollo, Pan Frito, Bikini, and Hamburguesitas to share. Everything was really good, and we got the Basque cheesecake for dessert. My friend loved the Sangria Blanca, another got the Apasionada Margarita, and I had a Mexican Coke. The portions are pretty small, even for a tapas restaurant. A few dishes - like the croquetas, bikini and hamburguesitas- only come with two pieces, so if you're with three or more people you'll probably want to order a few.

The decor and vibes are amazing here! Service was pretty good too. All the food looked so good so i kept ordering. You can't go wrong but the dessert with the ice cream was a game changer!

I was so excited to try Dalia and am happy to say that it surpassed all expectations! The vibes inside are unmatched and the service was great. I would definitely recommend getting any of the sangrias, they come in huge glasses and are so refreshing. My date and I shared the croquetas de jamon, crab churros, and wagyu flat iron. The wagyu was perfectly cooked and came with the best mushrooms I've ever had. I was so impressed and can't wait to go back.

Service: 10/10. Tori was an amazing server and made the experience Food: 7/10. It's a unique menu for Boston. It may be too "niche". For someone that lives in NYC, I personally loved it, but I saw everyone around us ordering the same thing. Drinks: 8.5/10. the drinks were good, the wine was good. They have a sommelier which, I did appreciate, and he was very knowledgeable about the wines. Ambiance: 10/10. They took antiques from all over Boston and the surrounding area to furnish this place. I LOVED that vibe and had seen the girl on TikTok decorating this place. Definitely a good idea by the Broadway Restaurant Group.

    Whitney R.

Very overhyped. The portions are very small for the price, quality and flavor complexity. It feels like the restaurant is pretending to be an authentic tapas restaurant but is missing the mark. We started with anchovy toast which was fine but over priced for a single anchovy on a crostini with butter. The hamachi crudo was fine, nothing special. The crab churros were also fine with a mild flavor portfolio. The seafood paella was small for 36$ with again, mild flavor. Everything was just ok, definitely paying for ambiance and the the service. It feels like someone invested a lot of money into the vibe of the restaurant before making the food match the high quality feel. Definitely would not be considered fine dining. However if you want a place for instagram story pictures and sangria this is it!

An unforgettable night at Dalia. While we were seated about 20 minutes past our reservation, the manager came over to apologize and give a complementary glass of wine (to celebrate a graduation). The acoustics and lighting of the room set a great scene for dinner, without being too loud but also fun and lively. We loved the wagyu with chimichurri, the hamachi, the pulpo, the mushrooms and egg yolk, and the croquetas de jamón. We'll definitely be coming back here!

Firstly Thank you to our server Jacqline? (Sp) she was handling the bar. Top Tier customer service, personable, and a gem! protect her at all costs, she's good for the business! This place was popping and we understand why! I typically dislike tapas but this has changed my mind. Quality, flavorful and didn't feel like i got ripped off after haha. - Hamburguesitas Wagyu sliders, juicy (typically sliders at other spots are dry). Flavorful, buttery, and not too much bun. - Croquetas de Pollo - more marinated or seasoned protein ratio would be nice, felt i tasted mostly just cheese. - Patatas Bravas MUST order. Layered crispy potatoe blocks with aioli, spiced red sauce. Just order it... in fact order at least TWO! - Churro (crab meat & caviar) - thank you for this it was a surprise gift because our paella was taking much longer than expected. Warm churro bites with crab meat and caviar. Salty, creamy, GOOD. (Two pieces) - Pluma Iberico pork well cooked, chopped cutlet, i wasn't too big of a fan of the pairing for the garnish and side tho. - Hamachi crudo - fresh hamachi, nice bite of the fish. The yuzu citrus didn't shine for us, i love ginger but that's all i tasted. - Valencia Paella (half size) even at half size i thought the rice portion was very shallow. Flavorful, extremely well seasoned, ample bits of seafood and chicken! -Tarta Tatin- warm banana, rum caramel, vanilla bean gelato. OOooOooOoo this was a HIT! Most people i think order the basque cheesecake but im telling you try this one. Yummm Great spot for group dinner, date night, or like us a post workout meal. I everyone was dressed nice but we showed up in workout gear and it wasn't an issue. Definitely coming back!

It was quite busy due to the tall ships on a beautiful and sunny Saturday afternoon, but I was happy to have made reservations a week prior. This restaurant is known for an eclectic Asian seafood cuisine, but they also have a few meat options such as a duck breast which was recommended for larger parties to share. Since it was just the two of us, we did have some cocktails which I thought were OK not great. What we did enjoy were the Japanese fried chicken, I highly recommend this and it was perfect for two people to share. The pan roasted dayboat scallops were also delicious but a little bit on the salty side, and the roasted beet salad was also good, but lacked some savory notes. Due to the unexpected wait, they actually comped our dessert which was very nice of them. Overall, I did enjoy this restaurant and really liked the view of the tall ships. I think if we decided to come again, we would probably come back on either a weeknight or maybe in the fall/winter. It can be pretty expensive as well but I do feel this restaurant is of quality. Total came out to approximately over $40. What's Hot - Menu. Simple and straightforward. It's not a large menu and easy to figure out. - Quality. Pretty delicious, with the exception of the greco fries, which I explain below. For my build-your-own salad, I ordered spicy whipped feta as a topping, which was probably the best part of my salad. The spice doesn't hit you right away, but it's definitely spicy, which my husband and I liked, especially because we have a pretty high tolerance. My husband liked his hot honey chicken wrap. The hot honey was spicy, as well, which is a good thing, because every place is different. The loukoumades was pretty good. No skimping on the toppings. - Location. Fairly easy to find and right by the harbor. As such, it's conveniently located to other attractions, shops, and restaurants. - Price. Fairly good value for money. That we were able to order 4 dishes for approximately $40 is pretty good value. - Service. They use paper containers for the food when dining in, which I like, because it may be more environmentally friendly. There are 2 kiosks where you can order, which is pretty straight forward. What's Not - Service. My issue is about a specific incident that happened while we were there. The staffers were putting our order together at the pickup counter. As such, some items were on trays on the counter, while other items were being put together. There was another customer there, who had his large dog with him. He allowed his dog to put his head and paws on the pick up counter, where our order was being put together. None of the staffers said anything. As such, my husband instructed the other customer to take his dog off the food counter. This other customer's dog did not appear to be a service animal. The other customer responded to my husband that no one else had a problem. The main concern is sanitation. A dog is putting its head and dirty paws on the counter where food is being served. Had the dog put its head and/or dirty paws on our food, or licked our food, or made a mess, or whatever, that would have been a concern. That none of their staff said anything was not a good thing, because it directly affects food sanitation. - Quality. The greco fries are nothing to write home about. Not flavorful and did not stand out. They also skimped on the feta cheese that topped our fries. Would not order again and would not recommend. Also, a couple of the olives in my salad still had the pits in them, which I didn't like. Just something to be aware of. For the loukoumades, all the flavor came from the topping. The fried doughnut holes didn't have any flavor and we're uncertain whether that's intentional. - Portions. The portions tend to be on the smaller side. This is not a place where one dish will fill you up. Final Answer Willing to return, but not a first choice.

The Tall ships are in town so the restaurant is probably busy. While this presents new challenges, it also gives most of the employees an opportunity to make more money so I'm not putting a lot of stock into that being the reason why the service was so poor. I asked my server what they thought about these two dishes and they didn't immediately say I shouldn't get the tuna burger, which I find fascinating given how absolutely terrible the dish it is. As you can see from my photo it is literally an entire tray of french fries and then a tiny little Tuna burger which was fine ish? Pretty dry but I was just astonished at how many fries we got. And they were like a bad version of McDonald's fries. It was hot and humid outside, and I was begging for water. Every single time the server came over I had to ask for water, despite having an empty glass that I strategically put at the end of the table. We had a service animal with us and we did ask for water for her which she forgot , but honestly that didn't bother me much because we should have brought her our own water. There were no server assistants, or managers , or busses to fill water I guess ? It seemed like this girl had an entire section to herself, and she did not seem very happy. This was an overwhelmingly disappointing experience given how expensive everything was, and with so many nearby options we don't feel any reason to ever go back.
