My teenaged daughter loves Daiso and made me come with her one day, presumably to pay for her purchases. Expecting something like a Big Lots or a 99 Cent Store, I was pleasantly surprised to find an impeccably clean, well-ordered, organized store. They have really cute items in the store and most items are $1.50. We have found everything from clips for sunglasses, to household brushes, to anti-cat spikes, all for the low price of $1.50. A lot of times, I have found clever items that I didn't know existed that save time or make life easier. It's a fun store, I will definitely be back. read more

Why or why don't we have Daiso out in Atlanta? This place is like a Japanese Dollar Store. I don't normally shop in dollar stores, but I would definitely shop at Daiso. Everything is so stinkin cute. I saw oil pastel crayons at the Daiso in Chino Hills so I figured this location would have them too. I was wrong. Plenty of parking. I usually like the other locations better. This Daiso was very small, not much of a selection of anything and didn't have the oil pastel crayons. Since I had my niece with me, I let her pick up some stuff. I'm going to take this off of my bookmark and go check out the Daiso in Anaheim. Hopefully that one is better. read more

I only walked in for an item and was amazed with the type of items they have. Of course the better quality the pricier the item is. The cashiers who helped me were very nice I did not quite catch their names but they work Friday afternoon one had glasses and the other had long hair. When I was going up to pay they sanitized the pin pad and the counter. When I asked if they had buckets one showed me where the item was while the other continued to ring up and bag my items. Anything that was over 1.50 was brought to my attention and was asked if I still wanted the item, both young ladies had really good conversations with me and made me feel extremely welcomed! This is a nice, big, clean, bright, inviting Daiso store. It had the advantage of being open for only about a month when I visited but hopefully the cleanliness won't degrade over time. This one is a decent sized store with the core Daiso merchandise and some things that were either unavailable or out of stock at the Chino Hills Daiso (that I visited earlier in the day). That there is a large parking lot and they are located in a decent neighborhood make this location a pleasant visit even in the evening. read more

The newest Daiso is now open, and I couldn't be happier, that it's so close to my home. They have all the same items as the other Daiso's, but everything is brand spanking new here. If you ever go dollar store shopping, then you NEED to shop here. Everything is $1.50, and straight from Japan. Lots of great unique items that you won't find anywhere else. read more

I love diaso HATE this location, the young Hispanic gals were super rude and the whole time shopping I had to listen to their juvenile conversations since they didn't know how to use their inside voices. Maybe its due to their ridiculously loud microphones they use to communicate with other employees using retail robbery codes. Also they say this long announcement that talks about their store being patrolled by security, I looked around and saw none, but they did use one of their employees to follow me around the store ! Every isle I was in she was in the next one over trying to be inconspicuous. She was not by any means inconspicuous, in fact she was their biggest employee...... IT WAS VERY OBVIOUS. They also had "secret" shoppers who weren't so secretive. The oriental man and woman who seemed to be pretending not to know eachother were also in the same aisle I was and at the same exact time as well as in line at the same time as me where they starred at me, the oriental woman directly starred while the oriental man was starring at me through their drink coolers reflections. They too didn't do a good job at not knowing the employees. Also it definitely is not necessary to announce every 5 minutes what time they close. Its rude and shows they don't appreciate the business people are bringing in. If i were these employees I would be grateful to be working in these difficult times, instead they seemed as though they couldn't wait to close because they hate that atmosphere just as much as I do. read more

This is the best Daiso I have been to so far in terms of cleanliness and design. The color palette of the store is mainly white, so it gives it a very sheek look. The workers are constantly on their feet: stocking the aisles or helping customers. Everything is organized well, and it is pretty easy to find what you are looking for. I prefer this Daiso over the other ones I have been to. I am an avid Daiso shopper, so I can vouch for their products. Do not expect the items to be super high quality as the majority of everything is $1.50, but items are decent in terms of how much you paid for the item. I mainly try and shop smart in Daiso, meaning: I will not buy a pan here, because I would rather purchase a more high quality pan for a bit more money, however, I will buy a wastebasket at Daiso because I just need a plain one that can do the job. They also have many cute items that I will be willing to purchase such as cute animal mugs. I MEAN WHO DOES NOT LOVE CUTE ANIMAL MUGS. This Daiso will be my go to one instead of others! read more

Employees were very nice and helpful here, I was greeted at the door as well. Nice, clean store but smaller than the one I normally go to off El Toro rd. Plenty parking. I love Daiso period. Daiso used to be $1 store but most is $1.50 now unless they have a price tag for more. read more

My daughter loves Daiso so when we heard one opened up in our neighborhood we had to check it out. They just opened so staff is still working the kinks out but the store is super clean and smells the same way. Same stuff as the other stores, cashiers are very nice and it's in a big parking lot. A lot of space for this location. They have been here since July of last year and recently underwent renovation/remodeling (as the cashier told me). It honestly looks like this store just barely opened because there are so many empty spaces for more random things. I can't wait until this store is completely filled in so I can browse even longer trough the aisles. Other than that, very clean store. It's an alright place filled with different Japanese products for a very low price. It's convenient if you need to pick something up quick while having a small amount of cash. There's a few products that I couldn't find that I needed, but what they had worked too. I like this store and wish they could expand their variety a little more. read more

We got home and they had charged us for a "shoe brush" that we did not want and was not in the bag, anyway. In addition, two packages of hideous nail art made their way into our bag -- we didn't grab those but they charged us for them. Thought I'd give this Daiso a review after visiting a few times. Same atmosphere as others, clean floors and layout. The floors seem a bit whiter than other locations but that's because it's new. It's just too bright and eventually gives me a headache so I book it when I have my stuff ready (often times only Calpico!) Their selection is lacking compared to other locations, so I'd probably have to go out of my way to the one off Euclid for small stationary and notebooks that they don't have. Service here prior to today's visit were usually top notch: always attentive, polite, and greetings too and from the store. Today, the cashier did not greet me (which is whatever, they probably didn't see me walk in or chose not to) and I wasn't asked for help even when I asked past a few employees. Those weren't really anything to gripe about because stores have employees and their off days. Except when I get to the register, the cashier was so rude. I would give you guys her name but the receipt didn't have who cashed me out but if it happens again and it's the same girl, I'll get her name and call her out on it. She had me stand at the nonexistent line while she was staring at the table of the register. Now, the bells that I purchased made a large deal of noise when I walked to the line. The girl organizing the section of goods in front the line was polite and had to "psst" the girl at the register to cue her to ring me up. Points knocked off for the lack of attention from the only cashier there. Once I got to the cashier, she didn't greet me or asked me if I found anything alright - the first thing I look for in customer service - not an apology for waiting a bit longer. I then asked her if she was getting something back in stock, and she said in a snarl, "I can't give you an answer to that." Well, alright then. Next she didn't mention that sales were final nor a thank you/have a nice day. She basically shoved the receipt in my direction as well. Look, girl, we've all got our bad days but when you're in retail, you suck it up once you get to your workplace and the duration of your time there. You're being paid for prompt customer service and interactions between the consumers that walk into the store. If you can't handle this, call out or quit. Just thought it was so rude of her and just made my experience here go from a 5-star to a 3-star. read more
