Decent selection with unique Knick knacks that everyone in my family found enjoyable. Storage cases are affordable and esthetically pleasing for the home

Can you saw $1.50 store (or $2.50 for some items)? Honestly, didn't know what to expect when I walked in. At first it looked like a grocery store, but it really it like Japanese Dollar store. The store is extremely bright and very clean. They seriously had a mishmash of items, some from Japan, but I laughed that I saw a couple items made in the USA! The items found here are perfect for a small apartment and maybe a dorm room. I ended up buying a couple small spray bottles, but that's all. it was fun to browse though!

I love this store, it is a traveler's paradise! I am completely obsessed with anything travel related and purchase travel merch at least twice a week (mostly from Amazon, yikes!). Not only does Daiso carry travel supplies, they carry items small enough to be used for travel. They have a large selection of pouches, packing cubes, compression bags, toiletries, liquids bottles, refillable perfume bottles, compact travel duffles and backpacks and a whole lot more. One of the items I purchased was a collapsible travel cup which I had been searching for ever since I saw someone else with one and thought it would come In handy. Now, is this stuff great quality? Not by a long shot but the prices match the quality so their products will last until they don't. I'm thinking I will get at least 5-10 uses out of most of these pieces. If they last beyond my upcoming trip in May, it will be worth the few dollars I spent in this store. Daiso is comparable to dollar tree or 99 Cent store but they only carry Japanese products. Of course they carry a lot more than just travel merch. They have a lot of household and beauty supplies as well but the quality of their merchandise is pretty consistent throughout the store. Their staff was just ok, not much in the way of personalities but check out was pretty quick.

Daiso is the Japanese version of the dollar store, but the items starts at $1.50 instead of a buck. Not all items are $1.50, as some (not many) are marked as high as $4. If you like the cutsie Asian stuff like pseudo Hello Kitty, you'll like this store. They have almost every kind of knick knacks from snacks, school supplies, cell phone accessories, make up, dishes, pet stuff, and household stuff. This particular Daiso is located in a strip mall off Yorba Linda, about a mile from the 57 freeway next to a JoAnn's. Plenty of parking in the front, and a decent size Daiso. While it is well laid out, the inventory is not very large. It is rather deceptive that you think it would have more choices on their goods, until you peruse the section and realize the selection is quite limited. This store is just A OK. I didn't find what I wanted, and will probably go to the Anaheim one, or maybe even a Dollar Tree/ 99c only store and see what they have. Also, no public bathrooms, but don't ask the girls where you can find one. One girl suggested the Carl's Jr across the parking lot. Lucky I remembered that JoAnn's has one, and went next door, to the rear of the store. Whew.

First time here. It's bright. It's white. Kids will go nuts and you may find a thing or two, you need also.

We love coming here. But watch out that you don't spree spend. It so is to pick up a thing here and there . . . and well that adds up.

I was looking more for shoes at my recent visit, but didn't find a very good variety of suitable work shoes. For some reason, this shop has a lot of athletic shoes...like almost two aisles of them. So, at least I know where to come to for sneakers. Maybe it's just the season right now, but they didn't seem to have the full variety stock of things. Wasn't too impressed this time around, maybe I'll have to come back sometime to see what's new. Hopefully there's more things to find here. Parking was easy, lots of parking up front.

In about an hour, I pulled around 18 pieces to try on and found several great additions to my summer wardrobe while staying within my budget. The only frustration was that many items in the XS section were mixed with M, L, and other sizes, making it a little harder to shop efficiently. The associates at the register were friendly and professional, and they listened when I shared feedback about the loud music in the fitting rooms. Overall, I'm glad I finally found a shopping method that works for me. What used to feel intimidating now feels manageable, and I left with some wonderful pieces for my summer wardrobe.

What disappointed me most wasn't that the staff appeared busy or understaffed--it was that many employees seemed busy talking to each other instead of acknowledging customers. Throughout my visit, I walked through multiple departments without a single greeting, smile, eye contact, or offer of assistance. Twice, I observed employees standing together on their phones or handheld devices, laughing and talking about how much work they had to do while customers were nearby. Being busy is understandable. Ignoring customers while socializing and openly complaining about your workload is not. One employee even walked directly in front of me, stopped to hang merchandise on a rack, making me wait, and then walked away without a single acknowledgment or "excuse me." It was a small interaction, but it summed up the overall experience. When I finally reached the checkout counter, the cashier asked whether I needed help and whether anyone had assisted me. I told her no. She simply entered her employee number and continued the transaction without any follow-up or acknowledgment that no one had helped me. She wasn't rude, but there was little eye contact or engagement, and I left feeling as though the goal was simply to finish the transaction and move me along. It made me question why I continue to shop at Nordstrom. If the merchandise selection is becoming more limited in store and the customer service no longer stands apart, what is the reason to choose Nordstrom over countless other retailers? For decades, Nordstrom built its reputation on two things: a thoughtfully curated selection and exceptional customer service. Merchandise trends come and go, but the service was always what differentiated the brand. Unfortunately, during this visit, neither lived up to that reputation. I don't expect employees to hover over customers, and I understand retail can be demanding. However, I do expect basic acknowledgment, professionalism, and the feeling that customers matter. That was entirely absent during my visit, and it was one of the most disappointing retail experiences I've had in a long time. I hope this feedback is taken seriously because the culture I experienced does not reflect the Nordstrom brand that so many customers have come to expect.
