Dada is located in a house with a comfy / homey vibe. There is a parking lot one street down and it's free. I believe at 1st Ave and 1st street. It's easy to walk to the strip as well. The burger was decent and the staff was friendly. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. read more

We had so much fun last night at their 22nd year in business celebration. The place was decked out with decorations,they had an Elvis impersonator singing and a band Our table of nine people was seated outside in their lovely garden area. Our waiter Carlos was great, friendly and knew all about the dishes. We enjoyed the mezze appetizer that Chef Daniel sent us. My friend Henry and I had the pleasure of meeting Chef Daniel a month ago when we stopped by the restaurant to see the menu. We also tried the fried cauliflower which was delicious and the Truffle fries. I have the swordfish that was crusted with lobster and mixed vegetables on a puree of cauliflower. I really loved how they did the vegetables and the cauliflower puree was so good. I saved room for dessert and had the creme brulee which was covered in berries. They have a full bar with cocktails, beer and wine. I did not try the Mojitos but look forward to having one next time read more

Came here for brunch for my birthday on a Sunday and the girls had a blast. The server was prompt and friendly, including the host that I called a couple weeks prior to make a larger party reservation. They had us seated in the hot air balloon room and the decor was so cute. Wonderful dining experience at Dada last weekend. Had tickets for the Delray Playhouse. They had valet parking, big plus. Started off with bacon wrapped dates-spectacular? Cool vibes, and service was good. I think brunch might have been better. We came for dinner and sat outside, the lights are pretty and it was fun to learn about the history of the property. Drinks were fantastic, their take on the yuzu martini was super fun. We had the ahi to start and that was great. The cauliflower was also really good, although I asked our server if it had any spice and he assured me it didn't (I explained I wouldn't want anything over literally a 0 spice level); I'd have placed it at more of a 2-3, definitely a little kick, just something to be aware of for anyone who is sensitive. Then the butternut squash ravioli were extremely underseasoned, especially considering it's the only veg-friendly item on the menu. I would say it's really more like a 3.5. Made a reservation over 30 days ago for a Prime Time Saturday night table. The restaurant confirmed it as well. When We 4 show up for our 6:45pm confirmed reservation they tell us that it will now be at 7:45pm due to the "rain"! WTF...it rains everyday here in Florida! Apparently they made the poor jr. executive decision to reseat everyone who was eating outside when it began raining to come inside... why would you do that! Those guests took the risk of outdoor dining when they were seated. You should have offered them to stay seated and get wet or prepare there orders as to-go meals and not give them Our "inside table" which we reserved ahead of time just because of the chance of rain. By telling us we should wait in the COVID "Bar area" like cattle without any apology or free drink inducement shows that you certainly didn't value our reservation or business. I'm sure I wasn't the only one who felt this way as the screaming masses at the check-in stand validated this ...what a Sh*t show. Perhaps a lesson in managing your seating would be appropriate.... Too late for this past Saturday night as we educated consumers left and most likely won't return as there are many choices in the crowded Delray /Boca dining market. It's not like you have superior food or anything & now we know you have sub-standard management. All that adds up to moving on... I haven't been to Dada's until recently. I wasn't too interested in the menu they had beforehand but I revisited the menu and it looked like they added items that I would order. I arrived on a Saturday night and it was packed. We had a reservation and there were very few tables that I could see that were open. I sat outside to the side of the building and it provided really great shade for the hot summer night. We ordered some mojitos and they were okay. Not that tasty. We tried a pork belly burnt ends appetizer and it tasted really good with a bbq like sauce. I ordered a bolognese pasta for $27 and it was huge. I had enough food to break up for 2 meals. I thought they added too much whipped ricotta but it was very flavorful. Our server was nice and helpful. There were times we couldn't locate him but we're sure it was due to the restaurant being so busy. It was a decent meal and now that I've dined here once, I would definitely come back again. read more

Came here on a Friday night. We sat outside which was lovely. Our waitress was heather, she was AMAZING!! She was accommodating and provided us with suggestions. We did the restaurant month prefix menu. Here is what we ordered and loved. Starters we had the cauliflower and the dada dates. For entrée we had the salmon which came with quinoa and asparagus, Holderness, and the short van. For dessert we had the banana nut muffin which came with Häagen-Dazs ice cream. For drinks we had the blackberry Mojito, South Beach Mamosa beer. Overall we had such an amazing experience it's such a cute restaurant and we loved everything we ate. Highly recommend. We have not been to Dada in a while, since the fools that govern Delray Beach could not agree with the operators of the Crest Theatre to keep the theater open. As such, many local residents have not spent as much time as we typically would have, had the theater been kept open. As such, we hadn't been to this restaurant in a while. I FOUND A PIECE OF A GLASS in my shortrib last night at dinner. It was about a half an inch sharp clear piece of glass. I told the waitress who didn't apologize or bring out the manager but just asked if I'd like to get something else. Pretty concerning considering that it could've caused serious injury or that more pieces could be in other dishes. They didn't care at all. They took the short rib off the bill, but that was about it. I've never written a review before, but I think it's necessary. Quite possibly my favorite meal of our trip to Delray Beach. This little gem of a find is located in a converted historic home and has such a fun vibe to it. They have seating outside in the front yard under a huge historic tree, or inside in a variety of themed rooms. We ate in the "ant" room that had ants drawn all over. The tables can be turned into art masterpieces by using the chalk placed on each one. Our server was so sweet and we had to order their famous dates and artichokes. We were mixed on the dates, but the artichokes were universally loved by our group. Our meals were delivered quickly and piping hot, just the way I like it! Everything was delicious and portions were generous. It was a little on the expensive side, but worth the splurge. Would be a great date place. Check out the bathrooms - very funky indeed. I am not sure why it has taken me so long to write a review for Dada. It is one of those places where the food and service are always outstanding, and yet for some reason, it seems to fall off my radar for months at a time. In part, that is because it is so darn popular and it can be challenging to get a reservation in-season. That does not give me any excuse whatsoever for not spending more time dining here during the off-season. Definitely will be correcting that moving forward! Alrighty, now on to the review. First off, we sat in the lovely garden which IMO is a big upgrade to sitting at a table in front of the restaurant. It's nice to be away from Swinton Avenue, and it really does have a feel of being in someone's backyard. Service was wonderful as always, and we started the evening with a few different cocktails. Appetizers shared were the grilled artichokes which are simply the most delicious I've ever had. They come with a lemon parmesan aioli and toasted breadcrumbs. I order these every single time I go. Our second appetizer for the table was a grilled brie, which really comes with a lovely accompaniment including sliced apples, grapes, and toasted bread worthy of the brie. Our main courses included the Dada meatloaf entree (which is my favorite main during the 'cooler' South Florida months), and appetizer portions of the Togarashi seared tuna and jumbo lump crab cake. The appetizer portions are really quite generous, and if you're having appetizers and sides, worth considering! For sides, we went with the french fries (always done just right at Dada) and the gruyere risotto, which is a real treat. We could not part with tasting something sweet, and our table shared the fried cider cinnamon glazed doughnuts with vanilla ice cream and the warm banana bread muffin. I did not see the check but prices at Dada are incredibly reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. Appetizers run between $10 - $18. Entrees are more pricey, between $17 - $37, but again, portions are incredibly generous. My only question is, when can I make it back? read more

We are visiting from Nashville, TN and our bnb was located right across the street from Dada. We decided this would be the easiest place to go after a 13 hour drive and it did not disappoint. We were pleasantly surprised that we didn't have to wait on a table. Don't let the crowded atmosphere when walking/driving by steer you away. We found it had plenty of seating and we didn't even have to wait for a table at 6pm! The sever was attentive and friendly, and most importantly, was extremely knowledgeable about the menu. I highly recommend the grilled artichokes! They were so tasty we ended up getting two orders of them. We also ordered 2 rounds of Orange Crush drinks and mojitos. You could tell these were freshly made, no sweet and sugary BS. For our entrees, we all had the salmon and added an order of truffle fries. Coming from a household that cooks salmon regularly, we weren't super impressed, however the place was still incredible overall I just think next time we'd order something different! We also followed the servers suggestion for the chocolate brownie with homemade cookies and cream ice cream from a local shop and it was 10/10! We will most likely be back before the end of the trip.
