Da Vien is our GO TO coffee shop! Been coming to Da Vien since they opened their first location on Bolsa in 2021(?) and since then we probably grab a drink here every 1-2 weeks! We're so happy they opened up this location, which is closer to us, but it's also much bigger inside than the other two locations, AND it has a drive thru. We've tried a lot of their drinks but our favorite is the black sesame latte with an extra shot of espresso! We like to get an extra shot so there's more taste of coffee than milk. The sesame cream is very rich and flavorful and blends really well with the coffee. By the way, the drive thru has two lanes. Left is for drinks, right is to exit. So if you happen to park in the lot that's in the drive thru, and can't get out because of the line, use the right lane! read more

Love the drive thru. The service is quick and friendly. I primarily order the iced banana latte, which tastes so delicious. I did try the brown sugar fresh milk, half sweet, and it was good but that brown sugar taste just stays for hours. In any case, this is a new favorite for me. Before leaving the OC from visiting my parents, my husband and I stopped by Da Vien's newest location. We decided to go through the drive-thru this time because the line wasn't long. Service was quick and friendly. We ordered the egg cream coffee and the coconut matcha. We both loved each drink and honestly would've loved a larger size LOL I love anything coconut water and matcha. Their matcha cream tasted amazing! My husband said his drink reminds him of tiramisu - which we both love that dessert quite a bit so it was perfect. From the outside, the interior looked warm and inviting. Went to Da Vien for the first time after hearing so much about it! The first thing I noticed was the interior design. It has such a clean and cozy aesthetic I could see myself coming by to get a drink and read a book or study. For six dollars, I expect coffee, not a cup packed with ice and a splash of liquid. What I got was basically a few ounces of coffee buried under a mountain of ice. I love davien, in my opinion best place for coffee in OC. The staff here is great. I ordered a banana matcha latte and it hasnt beat any other place for me. We come here often since my dad loves the ube vietnamese coffee here. We have been to every single location and you cannot beat it. The line here wasnt too long when we arrived but they also provide a kiosk and there was no wait at all and paying for our drinks were at ease. The ambiance is very clean in here and I would be able to study here from time to time. If you are here in OC this is a must try spot. read more

On a saturday evening, I pulled up in the driveway and there wasn't a long line today! The worker greeted us & was very nice. We got a regular matcha latte & a sesame matcha latte which only took 5 mins to make.. so fast!! They tasted very balanced not too sweet or earthy. This used to be my favorite matcha place of all time. Not sure what happened, but they have since changed their matcha recipe or the way they make it, because it tastes completely different now. Their ube matcha was my absolute favorite but any time I order it now it tastes super off. Also they recently upped the prices of their ham and Swiss croissants which was one of my favorite reasons for going there was getting a decent sized croissant for under $4. Now it's up to $5. I fear they're worried too much about expanding to more locations and becoming a popular chain rather than the quality of their matcha or drinks anymore. read more

A lot of parking space ; Drive thru is available as well as online order ; mostly every week they had promotions with the mobile app ; The space inside is huge and safe for you to hangout ; free wifi ; restroom is clean and very nice crew. I've tried multiple of their drinks at multiple different times and every time they've been perfect! The best thing about da vien is it really caters to people who like flavored coffee but ALSO who just like coffee in general! Despite being so busy, they're able to quickly keep up (but def expect a line at all times). I normally order online for pickup since I live nearby and my order is always ready on time. This location has drive-thru but it also has sit down area inside. It's really nice and modern with plenty of space if you want to work from a remote place other than home. I tried the marble drip, da vien and sesame flavored coffee. I also had the han and cheese croissant which is small but packed with ham and very cheesy. If you like creamer coffee, the marble drip is your choice. If you want it stronger, the regular vietnamese coffee or da vien is great. Almost as good as Lee's (still my favorite). Service was very quick and the staff call out your order when ready so pay attention. You can order from the kiosk or through your phone on the app. If you order on the kiosk, they will call your name. Pricing: In this inflated economy, $6- 7 is average price now, their coffee is worth it. Service: quick & efficient! Throughput was quick after ordering. Ambiance/Environment: This location is their first ever drive thru and you can still come in-person to order if you prefer that. The interior is so spacious compared to their other locations. I love the decor and how clean it is. Plenty of indoor seating and some outdoor seating. Perfect for a study session, coffee date, & simple hangout. Parking: Ignore parking in front of the shop . It'll be difficult to leave since it's only one way (you'll have to exit through the drive thru). They're located alongside a large plaza with plenty of parking, so I'd suggest parking on that side instead. read more

Absolutely love this new drive through location of Da Vien! It is always busy both inside and outside, but the line moves quick. I appreciate that they have a kiosk for self ordering inside too. Their drinks are always made well and taste delicious. My favorite is the matcha cream coffee with 30% sweetness. Today, I got their banana matcha since they are doing their buy one get one free deal from 4/1- 4/3. The banana matcha was delicious, smooth, silky, and creamy. I would give this a 5/5 since they put a lot of effort into the banana cream. The service was fast & employee is very nice and friendly. There was this one employee that complimented my rings, which I love that! There are a few parking spaces. All time favorite cafe for matcha lattes! Consistently delicious, with amazing service and high quality drinks. I've tired the matcha with matcha cream, caramel matcha with matcha cream, ube matcha and sesame matcha. Each drink has a smooth creamy texture, cream with the perfect amount of sweetness, the right amount of ice and matcha with a deep rich flavor. I've been to Da Vien's Westminster's location for their soft opening a few years back and had a subpar experience however, one key factor was that their drinks were delicious! Seeing that this location has a drive-thru, I had to stop by on my way home from work! The drive-thru line was pretty much wrapped around the shop and was contemplating whether waiting or not but I took the risk. There were some cars in front and behind me that left to go inside but I wasn't in the mood to do so. The line moved fairly quickly and was in and out within 10 minutes which averaged to about one car per minute. I got a large Matcha Cream Coffee, half sweet. The coffee portion was delicious and so was the matcha cream. I remember the matcha cream being thicker during my previous visit at the other location but nonetheless, still amazing! My drive-thru experience was great. The guy that took my order was patient and friendly. The girl that was at the window up front was the same. Sure, it's a newer location, but everything went smoothly for my visit. I will definitely be back to this location because of the convenience and the friendly staff. read more

I wanted to stop by the Da Vien in Orange County with a drive thru and I was impressed with how quick the line went despite the 10 cars in front of me. It is definitely a popular spot but there is plenty of parking in the shopping center which is always nice to not battle with. I got the Banana Latte which is just absolutely incredible. I dream about it and what makes it different than the others I have tasted at other coffee spots is their banana cream. So elite! The employees are very kind and I could see plenty of seating inside as I drove by with people working on their laptops or just interacting. It was such a beautiful day and there was plenty of spots in the patio where people were just relaxing. Definitely worth a drive and I will be coming back.
