11/10. This is the second time I visit Da Vien and the first time I visit this location. I came during the week at 8am and the line was quick and I was able to get my coffee within 5-10 minutes. It's so nice inside. There's lots of seating and many people set up to stay a couple hours. They offer free wifi however I didn't see if there were outlets. One of the great parts of this location is that they have a drive thru. When I went there wasn't a long line so it's worth it if you're in a bit of a rush. I grabbed the banana latte. It was so good. It's one of my favorite coffee drinks of all time. I can't wait to come back. read more

I went here today and it was crowded. But not so crowded that it becomes a crowd crush. The counter was busy with orders and such. I was able to use one of the service machines to fill out my order. It was easy and simple. This one guy, I'm guessing it was the manager, was kind enough to inform two women that they had arrived to the wrong location to pick up their drinks. Their drinks were actually at the Garden Grove location. He was quick to point that out to them without any kind of judgement in front of lots of people. I really appreciated that he didn't do that. I can resonate with those two women because as a 20-year-old woman with CPTSD, I have memory gaps that have caused a lot of issues, such as struggling to remember some addresses of places. So I'm glad the manager was incredibly understanding. I got my orders and it was so refreshing and good. The banana cream was tasty af! read more

Really excited to find Da Vien opened a Stanton location! I really, really love their drinks, but they're so far away that going there is rare. I went on grand opening day on Saturday, came really early because I wanted the aesthetic tumbler they were giving away lol. Was it worth it? Ehhhhhhhhhhh, but I was just doing errands while waiting anyway. They cutoff the giveaway line at like 7:40am;; Interior design of the store is nice! Trendy and chic. Employees were nice and fast even though they had a huge line to get through. I ordered a half sweet ube coffee and it was delicious! I love that their drinks are consistent across stores. Yesterday I came a little after 12pm. This is my second time coming to Da Viên, first time here in Stanton. When I went to GG, I got the Ube Matcha Latte. It was good but I felt it mostly tasted like Ube. I got the Coconut Matcha this time and thought it was really good since I like coconut water but definitely the matcha flavor wasn't strong. As time passed, it mixed together more I started to taste the matcha but it was really subtle. There were quite a few people in line when I ordered however the drinks were served quickly! I HIGHLY recommend to park in the external parking lot across from the store rather the ones next to the drive thru. It was my mistake because when I arrived, there wasn't anyone in line for it but when I exited, so many cars lined up and it was hard for me to get out! read more

A lovely spot for good coffee, fun matcha, and a lovely atmosphere. I went around 8:30 so I didn't want to get a strong Vietnamese coffee. Tried the brown sugar milk boba... it's delicious, but it really is just milk, brown sugar, and boba. The boba was like crystal boba, which I honestly enjoy, but it might surprise other people who expect tapioca. It's a bit sad for a non-caffeinated option, but I wasn't feeling tea. I used the kiosk, which is convenient. Just wish I could sign up for points AT the kiosk. Most times I've gone to this location before, I put my order in with one of the baristas, and they are always kind and knowledgeable. We were in the area and decided to check this place out. I had initially drove by there a few weeks back and thought I saw a drive-through however, when I pulled up to the plaza, it wasn't very clear. Therefore, I opted to park my vehicle and just walk inside. It was confirmed once inside that there is indeed a drive-through. The location itself is in a rather large plaza with ample parking, flush itself is very spacious and bring me perfect for meeting a large group of friends. Ofc we ordered the coconut coffee and my daughter ordered the strawberry Matcha. Both were good, however could have been sweeter. The barista was informing me the marble trip as a popular option not as strong version of the OG Vietnamese coffee. Maybe I'll try that next time because the coconut coffee was not hitting. TLDR: Delicious coffee, good vibes, terrible service I cannot say enough about how delicious the coffees are here. The flavor is just amazing! The variety is also very good! I don't care for every single flavor but the ones I like are so good and the ones I don't, I can appreciate what they were trying to do. The set up is beautiful and feels like a studying space like Starbucks but brighter and less dim and depressing (which can be nice in the right mood but the brighter ambiance is highly appreciated). This place gets a 1 star though because the service is absolutely awful. I've been here half a dozen times and it never seems to get better. The most recent time there happened to be a buy-one, get-one free coffee deal and I ordered online and waited almost 40minutes, meanwhile I saw at least 6 people walk in and order the same drinks I did in person and leave after 2 minutes. I showed my receipt to 3 different employees and the first 2 just walked away and helped other people (who walked in after me) get their drinks. It wasn't until I showed my order to Ash, where she saw when my order was placed, and when it said it'd be ready, she ran to the back and in like 2 minutes I was given my order. Again, the coffee is delicious, the prices are reasonable, but the service is so horrible that I only entertain getting coffee here when there's a special because on a regular day it still takes forever and it isn't worth the hassle. read more

Best way to take care of your community is to put it to use. I was so excited when I found out Da Vien Coffee was opening a bigger location a tad bit closer to my house. I love this location, it's so spacious, but come around on weekends and it is already packed! They have very robust Vietnamese coffee and offer a good variety of flavors. Lately I've been on a banana kick and both of their Banana Matcha and Banana Lattes are delicious! If I'm not feeling banana the Marble Drip (Bac Xiu/white coffee) and Ube Coffee are my backups! This morning the staff was super nice and helpful with my mobile order. I orders 5 drinks and it was all neatly packed in a bag with a cup holder. Unfortunately, during transit the matcha latte spilled and got all the other drinks and straws wet. Located in a plaza so there's plenty of parking. At the moment this location is the only one that offers drive through which is quite convenient! The line moved fairly quickly which I appreciated even with bit of a line that wrapped around. The drive through staff was friendly and patient, double confirming my order with me. I tried the coconut matcha and it was refreshing. The matcha itself is perfectly delicious and I love that you're able to control the sweetness level. I got half sweet for my order which balanced well. My sister got the banana matcha latte and it's her new favorite drink. I was in the area and so glad to had stumble this place. This location is much spacious and eaier to find parking. This is a great hangout spot since there's so much tables than their other location. They also have a drive thru here which is so convenient. I tried the matcha coffee and it was delicious. Their coffee is good and sweet but the matcha creme on top was the best part. Went to go try this coffee spot near Westminster and this place was OK! We got the Banana Crème Matcha Latte ($6) and the Ube Matcha Latte ($7). The banana crème on the matcha coffee was really good though i wish it was more combined with the drink and the Ube Matcha Coffee was really rich and creamy, though a bit heavy! Overall this place is definitely not bad but I would probably choose another place next time for matcha. HOWEVER! I've tried many drinks and some of my fav are the egg coffee (it's a classic and I feel it's "how they first blew up" but just my opinion), coffee with Ube or matcha creais good too! I wish they had a pandan one! Their marble drip is good too! For matcha, I love their banana matcha or just regular iced matcha is good too. Some of the best Vietnamese coffee I have had in a very very long time! We got the regular large and egg cream. Crushed ice, strong coffee and the cream was egg-cellent! This is currently my favorite Da Vien location I came here the day after grand opening and was impressed by how organized it was. I love that they have an online order option and soon a drive through to make things more convenient. But if you want to stand in line it goes pretty quickly. I usually get some sort of matcha here and I like that they have different versions. Surprisingly my favorite is their black sesame matcha latte with oat milk. But if you prefer coffee, their egg coffee is really good. And you can adjust your sweetness and ice level. The inside is casual but nice. Matcha drinks were good as usual but I'm not sure why the regular matcha was shorted in volume vs the black sesame matcha. This doesn't happen at the Garden Grove location. I was in the area when I discovered that Da Vien had replaced the old Lee's, and since I had a hankering for Vietnamese coffee, I pulled into the drive-thru line. There were a few cars ahead of me which was a good sign in terms of the place's popularity. When it was my turn, I quickly decided on the egg coffee because I've only had it one other time and remember it being delicious. I was not disappointed. My drink was absolutely delicious, and it was actually Vietnamese coffee. Some places will say they serve Vietnamese coffee, but once you take a sip, you immediately realize it's a weak imitation. They're located alongside a large plaza with plenty of parking, so I'd suggest parking on that side instead. Ambiance/Environment: This location is their first ever DRIVE THRU! Don't worry, you can still come in-person and order if you prefer that. The interior is so spacious compared to their other locations. I love the decor and how clean it is. Plenty of indoor seating and some outdoor seating. Perfect for a study session, coffee date, & simple hangout. Service: Everyone was sweet, quick & efficient! Throughput was quick after ordering. Drinks: I've tried every drink from their menu. Their Vietnamese coffee is absolutely strong & creamy, and their foam is thiccckkk. When I want a Viet coffee, THIS is what I mean by Viet coffee. My go-to is the Egg Cream Coffee! I also love all their matcha drinks; tastes premium & sweet. When I want something refreshing, I usually get one of their iced teas or Coconut Matcha. Da Vien had a BOGO marble drip promotion, which was the optimal time for me to visit their new location on Beach Blvd. The interior seating is very well designed with optimal space to hang out while still giving the feeling that it is spacious. Very good job on the design and they continue to get better with every new location. I went to pick up my drinks at 9pm on a Thursday as I was heading home from LAX. I couldn't believe how busy they were and most people were not drinking the BOGO drink. It's an organic busy that can only be achieved by offering a tasty menu, which they do. The store is in the corner of the center which is good for the drive through because the line can block traffic but the shopping center isn't too busy which is good for car traffic.
