    Spiced butter latte

Really yummy coffee! We got the seasonal drinks, pumpkin smash and spiced butter. Spiced butter is really good and I like that it's different! Also, you can bring a personal cup and they'll make your drink in it :)

This was my first visit to Cyclops Coffee. This whole plaza has been updated with new stores and it looks great. I love the new modern look and the addition of this café. The café has outside and inside seating. I prefer to sit outside since there were a lot of students working on their laptops and I didn't want to cause any distraction since we were there to mingle and chat. Being outside was nice, but you also still have other people seated outside, or in passing. The barista/cashier was friendly, especially when I let him know that it was my first time. He asked me what my likes were and said he can make that for me. I went with a hot honey cinnamon vanilla latte and it was good. It may have needed more to it because it was not flavorful and sweet enough. I couldn't taste the honey or cinnamon. It tastes more like a vanilla latte. But I think this is an easy fix next time I order. They also have a restroom for customers which I visited, and it was clean. There is plenty of parking and this is definitely a college crowd, but welcome to everyone.

Came here around 9:30am on a weekday to do some studying and also try their matcha. I gotta matcha latte with oat milk & honey. I would give their matcha a solid 9/10. I love how natural tasting their matcha is. It isn't overly sweet or bitter. I also got a chocolate donut, it was ehhh. It was cold af lol and not worth the price. It was pretty packed in there when it comes to finding a study spot. They do have a decent amount of tables as well as the counter tables. It is not quiet tho, so don't expect a calm, quiet coffee shop. It does get pretty loud in there!

Ahh I wanted to like Cyclops so bad, I was so excited to finally try it after hearing great things about it. I'm really hoping I went on an off day. Their drink options are great, I love the creative flavor combinations and I love banana lattes and ube lattes. The cashier was very sweet it was a good start. I decided on the Banana Ube latte- they made me the cookies n cream one accidentally & handed it to me but didn't tell me as I was leaving, I had to come back in and then they said they knew it was supposed to be banana. They remade the other one and let me keep the old one which is nice- but upon taking a sip I was hit with really really sour espresso and graininess that I wasn't sure was coffee grinds or their ube. I couldn't really taste the banana and the espresso tasted bad in each. I unfortunately could not and did not finish either :/

I ordered a Matcha Latte for $5.50! That's pretty darn good. I really hope they don't raise their prices. There were a few tables along side the wall, however, they were all taken. It was about 10am when I got there. They also had lawn chairs outside, and since it was a nice day -not too hot- I decided to sit outside. I was comfy.

Side quest in Long Beach had me dropping by Cyclops for a quick caffeine pick me up. Compared to other coffee shops, it's open late and I appreciate that. Seems like a good spot to do work or just yap with the homies. My bourbon vanilla drink did the job but I just enjoyed the overall atmosphere and late hours. They also sell locally made candles by the register that smell great!

Nice coffee shop with unique flavors and takes. The orange blossom latte was delicious, or at least the few sips I stole from my wife was. The stretcher was new to me. Felt like a new take on an iced americano. At least new to me. If I was in the area again, I'd visit to try out the seasonable flavors.

Around 12pm on Tuesday I came here. When I walked in the place was clean and there were many students working with their laptops which is a good sign. I ordered an iced banana latte. It was 8 dollars. It came fast and the guy even walked out from the counter to personally hand it to me. Excellent service. The latte was TOO good. Oh my god it was delicious. It had just the right amount of banana flavoring and sweetness.

The service is top notch. The person who helped us at the register was friendly and super helpful. While I was waiting for my matcha she saw a dad with two kids sitting outside on the ground enjoying their treats. She went out and brought them chairs because the other seats were taken. Super sweet and thoughtful! My matcha was delicious. They have the ever so popular vegan donuts my kids love so we grabbed two of those too. There are about 10 tables with chairs inside as well as a counter to sit at towards the back. It's clean and welcoming inside, everything you could want at a little coffee shop. Definitely recommend.

Caramel Latte will Vanilla Cold Foam

Recently started going here and I am hooked. It honestly never fails me, the ambience is so welcoming from the moment you walk through that door and leave. The staff is always kind. Earlier today I placed an order via their website, but when I got there the parking lot was full. I didn't want to park far since I had both my kids so it's rough getting in and out of the car for something that'll take 10 seconds. I called the location and the employee who answered (I wish would've caught the employees name, he has a sleeve tattoo) was kind of enough to bring my coffee for me. Thank you so much for going above and beyond especially for me as a mama! My drink was also amazing as always, not sure how they always manage to make the coffee taste the exact same as before!

Vanilla Iced Latte with Strawberry Cold Foam & Oatmilk

Came to the area for an errand and decided to stop by for a cup of coffee. I ordered the vanilla iced latte with strawberry cold foam, and wow -- the foam tasted super FRESH. You can actually taste real strawberries and not artificial syrup. The guy working at the front was really friendly and welcoming. I chose this drink because I saw it posted on Yelp, and it definitely lived up to the hype. The only thing I'd change is wishing the coffee flavor came through a bit more, but overall it was really good. The place was clean and cute!

    Matcha Latte

Matcha was mid. The barista said it was ceremonial grade but it didn't taste ceremonial grade. It tasted very milky than matcha. Price is a bit more than average so I expected to truly enjoy my drink. Paid $17 for a small and a large matcha. Took a cute picture for aesthetics but it's not that green in person.

Iced latte w/ banana syrup on a lovely June morning.

Definitely a coffee date spot. Came later on a Thursday morning and it was livelier than I would have expected: the tables were occupied with lots of friends chatting over their iced lattes. With the clean, warm ambiance of the space, it made me want to stay! Service was friendly and remarkably fast! It took less than theee minutes for my latte to be uttered from my lips to manifested in my hand. $6.50 for a small iced latte with syrup hurts the pocket but it's 2025 and helps the soul, so definitely worth it. I ordered an iced latte with their seasonal banana caramel syrup (funky monkey). The espresso dominates the top half of the drink, which is creamy, smooth, and pretty mild. Once the heavier syrup hits, it's slightly sweeter and somehow richer. Definitely more low-key than some of the banana lattes I've tried recently. I recommend checking this spot out! Bring a friend.

Ask the Community - Cyclops Coffee

Hello! I have been trying to find dog friendly spots to go to in Lb, is cyclops coffee dog friendly?

Technically no, but we do offer doggie treats and your pet can wait inside with you while you order. Many customers bring their pets before and after their vet visit. They can hang outside by the chairs as well. Hope this helps!

Noticed it's a new spot in Long Beach and was wondering if there are any part-time/weekend jobs available to apply to. If so is there an online application? If not no worries!

You can drop off a resume!

Is this shop open yet? If not, when is the opening?

Yes, soft opening with with abbreviated hours for now, from 7am-2pm. Thank you for your interest and support!

It's probably not somewhere I'd personally plan to sit and hang out for a while, but they do offer online pickup through DoorDash, and the service was quick (for reference, I went at around 8:45am on a Sunday). The employees were also friendly and helpful when we had questions about the menu. What really stood out to me was the flavor! The drinks are rich, flavorful, and really well-balanced. It's not bitter, overly sweet, or too plain. Everything we tried tasted consistent and intentional. The prices are a little on the higher side, but based on the quality, I think it's worth it. I'd definitely come back, especially for the Madagascar Vanilla Latte, the matcha, or even to just try something new on the menu!

The decor is cozy and chic, and I like that they kept it spacious instead of cramming a ton of tables and chairs in. I especially loved the little table lamps! Our server was very nice and helpful when we had questions. Caesar salad: I LOVED this. Perfect balance of flavors with perfect crunch. Word of warning is that it is anchovy heavy (including anchovy filets on top), so if you like to pretend the anchovy aspect of Caesar salads doesn't exist, this might not be for you! Roasted chicken: Loved the crunch on this too, and the salad and polenta were nice additions. I think the polenta was my favorite part of this dish lol. Kale pistou pizza (asked for no onions): My least favorite dish. We didn't realize it was vegan but as someone who generally likes vegan food, it just lacked flavor and felt very dry overall. The sourdough crust was good, at least. Peach mess dessert: Omg, the star of the show! Such an amazing dessert top to bottom, I loved the mix of textures and flavors. I could eat this every day! I probably would've given this 4 stars due to the pizza being that bland, but the dessert really elevated this whole meal. Can't wait to see all their different menus throughout the seasons! I hope they add a happy hour soon and I hope to see the return of their patio at some point!

Lovely brunch at the newly opened cafe portion of Colossus bakery…read more Stopped by the bakery first to grab their Cardamom roll. Which was delicious very "cardamomy" flavored, crispy layers. Dusted with Swiss pearl sugar. Just really yummy. Saw the almond croissant. Said oh will stop again on our way out. BIG mistake. Of course they were gone by then. Opted for the sticky toffee bun. She recommended warming before eating. What a nice little treat to share with my husband after dinner! Back to the cafe. Newly added as an adjoining space was vacated next to the bakery. Industrial modern interior. Spacious with 20(?) tables. Partners opted for the 2 egg breakfast. Eggs cooked perfectly as ordered. One ordered an omelet. Beautifully made. Would make Jacques Pepin or Thomas Keller proud. Thick sliced bacon. Thick sliced multigrain toast. Small side of spring mix salad adorned with watermelon radish. Very nice entree if you're an egg lover. Shared the French fries. They're like the ones my grandma made. Thick sliced potatoes deep fried. Crispy outside. Soft inside. Brings back pleasant memories. Get these if you're a French fry fan. The mushroom dip (think French dip with variety of sautéed mushroom in lieu of beef) was GREAT! Mushroom not overcooked, Muenster cheese draped atop. Crusty baguette bread. Although the dipping sauce was vegan based, the roasted mushroom base added enough umami for a deeply flavored dip. My only complaint was the clusters of oyster mushrooms were laid horizontally following the length of baguette. Which presents well but was a bit challenging to bite through. I dunno, maybe my teeth aren't sharp. Overall an outstanding dish. So my dilemma now is when to return to try the other menu items which didn't make my first cut. Parking is....well ya know...it's 2nd St. So the driver needs to be a good parallel parker. Cute shoes optional but be prepared to walk.

They're also not cheap, at 12 bucks a glass, but I was there to support them for hosting great local comedy obviously. Their beer is also local and craft - they also only have a couple, and one's always a pilsner (I've never liked pilsners personally), but the other, when I was there, was a great local lager (also a lot cheaper, at $6.50.)
