My family move in to our house 2 years ago and never had a chance to inspect our vents. I set an appointment on a Saturday and they accommodate me as soon as possible. When the technician came his mane is Gorge, very nice guy easy to talk with, after we agree with the terms he right away performed his work. This evening a technician came out to my house in Livermore to clean my dryer vent. He was very courteous, because he called before he arrived at my house. This may not seem important , but I live alone so I appreciated knowing he would be at my door. He immediately knew I had a problem with the efficiency of my dryer , since he saw a kink in the hose. I appreciated being told this so I could follow- up. He moved the dryer and cleaned the back, which had lots of debris. He took the measurements and got to work. He cleaned up after cleaning the vent and returned the dryer to its original spot. He replaced the vent as it was old. He discovered I had a problem with spacing. So he gave suggestions. I decided to go with Cyclone because of the lowest service fee combined with the number of extraordinary other reviews out there. Mario came out within a few minutes after the end time frame for our scheduled appointment, was friendly, transparent, and kept me informed of everything exactly that needed to be done. He was honest enough to say there was nothing "wrong" with our AC, but suggested ways to improve it. The prices sounded reasonable enough, and Mario took care of swapping out a corroded part outside, and added a booster to our existing electronics. I was initially impressed by the number of "positive reviews" and the promptness and availability of this organization but ultimately had a poor experience. PROS - Affordable pricing - a dryer vent cleaning could be about $99, goes up to $199 for stacked dryers - Availability - they seemed to have - Did not charge a fee after looking at the job and realizing they could not do it. CONS - The guy answering the phone is rude; made side comments about my not picking up the phone when he called, claimed that he told me he needed access to the roof and that I had agreed to it (this did not come up in our convo), overall tone was as if I was a nuisance. - Appointment times are not honored (appointment window was 2-3; guy showed up after 4pm) - Not prepared -- I told them I had a stacked dryer inside a closet, yet they only sent one guy who would not have been able to move the dryer safely by himself.
