I stood in line for 25 min with 1 person in front of me. I finally was able to ask for the meds. The tech said " they are not all ready yet" she asked if I wanted to stay..... I explained that wouldn't work and to give me the ones that were ready. Then she told me that none were ready. WTH. When I tried to tell her that the system is sending text messages out to pick up prescriptions when in fact its not ready. Seemed like a tech issue. But then she got snappy with me. Rude and slow. I will never use this place for meds. The entire staff should be reviewed by leadership. This place sucks

Pharmacist "Do" could care less. Very poor customer service…read more Another CVS pharmacy transferred two prescriptions. I arrived about 60 minutes after it was called in. When I arrived I waited in a longer than normal line to get service. When it was my turn I was told only one of the 2 prescriptions was filled. They had no record of the second one. The clerk transferred me to the pharmacist who searched further on the computer and found it. He said it was "lost in the system". It needed to be filled. I said ok I'll be patient. Then he said come back in 40 minutes because he was closing the pharmacy for lunch. I said I have perishables inside the car and it's 98 degrees outside. He said "I'm sorry, come back in 40 minutes." Now you would think if this was my fault or I arrived just at lunch time to have a prescription filled I could understand waiting around. But it wasn't my fault. You would think he would have taken 5 minutes to fill the lost prescription rather making me wait 40+ minutes with perishables inside the car. Very poor customer service.

The tech got me checked in, got the meds out of the cooler and notified the Pharmacist, and instructed me to take a seat. While waiting only 2 people approached the counter. At 8:45 I informed the person who had checked me in, an asked how much longer. She spoke with the pharmacist in form it would be about 10 more minutes before he could do my injection. I informed that I would not continue to wait, and would get my vaccination elsewhere. They require an appointment to receive a vaccination, but then expect you to wait indefinitely after arriving early.

This review is specifically for Store #5699 Pharmacy. I…read moreseem to be consistently disappointed when I visit this location. There have been many problems using this pharmacy since we moved our prescriptions after Rite Aid shut down. The staff either don't care about people or their jobs, except for a few people, like Cassie. The line is almost always 3 to twenty people long. They don't move with any sense of purpose. I think part of the problem is that the workspace is inadequate. They must have at least a thousand prescriptions a day, and they are working in such a confined space. Also, the basic operations are never up to par, which, reflex's poor management. The saddest part is watching elderly customers having to stand in line for 20-30 minutes just to find out their stuff isn't ready. If they need a chair there's only three. I will be taking my business elsewhere. I feel bad for all of the people who have been mistreated here. Even if you try to call ahead of time to see if your stuff is ready, good luck talking to someone. Having been a Store Manager for a large retail store, there is so much room for improvement, but it starts with the leadership which is clearly lacking. I recommend trying somewhere else!!!

I would STRONGLY RECOMMEND NOT GETTING YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS HERE!…read more I am on PRESCRIPTION pain meds (opioids) and I have Medi-cal and Medi-cal covers all pain meds with a form that has to be filled out online by your doctor. Rite aid told me that Medi-cal will NOT COVER ANY opioid pain medication and that my meds would cost $1255.00 per month qty 180 Instead I went to Costco and at the time they did not accept Medi-cal for any persons or prescriptions so my meds were costing $65.79 per month qty 180. I believe that Rite aid is prejudiced against those having to take opioid and those on Medi-cal. They also violate hippa laws and will share your medical information with third party marketing services with out your permission! I will NEVER have any prescriptions filled at any Rite aid pharmacies in the future!
