Now they're saying at rite aid that the dr wrote it to be filled on the 3rd. My husband is wasting gas. They're playing games. They told him now. It will be ready today now at 11:00. They just told me on the phone 11:30. This pharmacy is treating me like a drug addict!! They lie to me and they lie to my husband. This is the reason I stopped taking this medication YEARS ago. Because they were treating me like this. And after such severe pain and unable to exercise or even do chores, after gaining over 60 pounds. I agreed with my dr to go back on it. And now they're doing the same thing. To me And treating me the same way. I've been a patient at this pharmacy since it was Thrift drug store in the Safeway parking lot as a 8 year old little girl. This pharmacy is completely unprofessional as I just got hung up on twice. And it's "700 prescriptions behind" according the "Chris" there at the Anderson location. Christina the pharmacy manager obviously doesn't know how to run the place. It's going down hill fast and losing tons of customers and I'm about to be one of them. The CVS pharmacy in Anderson seemed good the young guy who works the register was very great. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and willing to help if there was an issue but he had a very quiet voice so if you're hard of hearing you would have trouble hearing him, other than that he's the best worker they have. My friend went to get their supplies, they are a type 1 diabetic so their supplies are very crucial for survival, and the lady who was working the counter said he owed an insane amount of money for his stuff which is incorrect because his insurance covers all of his stuff and it's actually against Federal Law for him to be charged for any of his stuff because he's in a certain program. I tried explaining that to the woman but she would not listen to anything I said and insisted he had to pay if he wanted his stuff. We left the pharmacy without his supplies for his insulin pump because that lady refused to take the time to look at his records to see he isn't supposed to be charged. If she didn't know, which she obviously didn't, she could have asked someone who does but she didn't. The young guy who is usually the one who helps my friend wasn't in that day so my friend didn't get his diabetic supplies. I was not at all happy with the outcome of that pharmacy trip at all. We wasted our gas and our time because of that woman's unwillingness to hear what we had to say or look at my friend's file to see his insurance covers all of his stuff. Quite disappointing. The only reason I gave 3 stars is because of the young guy with long hair that works the register. Also don't bother calling them, if you want to talk to someone you'll have to go in to the pharmacy. If you call you'll have to leave them a message and they say they'll call you back but they never return calls. That is really frustrating.

Most all other pharmacies close on Sunday! This location inside the Walmart Supercenter in Anderson is on my way to Redding or on my way back to Red Bluff and I'm always traveling back and forth a lot, so it's super easy access on and off the 5 freeway in south Anderson. I just do most of my refills via on online site. You can set up an online pharmacy account that's separate from the regular Walmart account but both are accessible from walmart.com. It gives you access to all your prescriptions and amount of refills you have left of each drug. This pharmacy app works pretty good, I gotta say. You'll get texts or emails when your stuff is ready to pick up. You can change pharmacy locations as well, so if I wanna get my stuff in Red Bluff, I can.

I usually only come here if I'm on my way north to Redding and don't want to stop at the Walmart in Red Bluff which is on the South side of town ... I live more to the north. The trick I use when I need something at Walmart specifically, is I go online to walmart.com and browse the store I'm gonna go to. Yeah, you can set exactly which location you wanna shop and then search out he items you want. Then select "in store" option and you'll get all the related items to your search that thye have in stock at that specific store. Then they even tell you the location in the store, like which Aisle exactly, so no needed service from Walmart employee, who may or may not know where it is! Just go to the store and go to that location and badda bing! you got what you need! Grocery, frozen food, whatever! Then just head to the self check out and bling bling off you go! One thing that irks me about the self check out machines, they can't just scan the new credit cards, like bling to the screen. You have to insert the card into the slot like the old way. Still works, but common' Walmart catch up! So, this store works like all the rest, just come knowing what you want and then get out easy. Now if you just like to browse around on the store, well, have at it! Grocery items are what I search and pick up a lot. Yeah, Walmart prices are usually lower then most grocery chains.

I don't understand the bad reviews on cottonwood drugs because I've been going to cottonwood drugs…read morefor at least 9 years now every since the pharmacy I used to go to closed down some of the staff from the old pharmacy went to cottonwood drugs I'm treated friendly there sometimes I have to wait a day or two for a medication but that's not the fault of the pharmacist or the pharmacy that's the fault of the rich people that keep buying a drug so they can lose my pounds lol The only thing I don't like about cottonwood drugs is that a few years ago they were bought out by an East Coast corporation so they are no longer my local drugstore but I'm still treated like family I still know all the staff member on a first name basis and when I call they already know when I'm going to ask for so they hand me to the appropriate person. All in all I would give cottonwood drugs between a 3:00 and 3/4 and 4 and 1/2 stars no business is five stars at all I don't care who they say they are.

(They were drugs for a procedure I had coming up along with a brand new medication) I had opted to not get one of the meds because insurance didn't cover it. So I said to hold it and I would be back later. Well about 5 days later I came back to get it because I heard back from my dr that insurance would not cover it and I was going to just pay cash for it. Well then Redding drug is trying to say that I had received it. And I never did. Then I get sent home with a bag with two bottles in it. And lo and behold one of the bottles in there is the med in question that they said I had received. Days before. That they could not find. But here is the kicker. I was supposed to get a completely different drug in the bag that ended up having the medication in dispute. And now , because I did not get the right drug a second time they now want to say that I received this other medication too. I even went back into the store and showed them the mistake THEY made and I even brought it to their attention and paid them for a script they should have charged me for if they had given it to me like there were supposed to. But because they didn't even know they gave me that one they didn't even see that they didn't charge me for it. I was honest and paid them for something that they didn't even know they gave me at the time. And this was even days after I had received it for real. This whole story is so confusing to anyone not involved I fear that it won't translate in this review. But basically I was accused of getting meds I didn't and then when I showed them later that they messed up they then compensated by doubling down on their stupidity and denying me a completely different medication.
