My experience at this lab was excellent! Made an appointment for labwork online last nite, arrived 15 minutes early, and was out of there in no time at all. The technicians working there were most helpful, both with my checking in and with the blood draw. And I was most grateful that they also had the self-adhesive tape to use afterwards (which not all labs do). I'd recommend them in a heartbeat! Their level of care is topnotch! read more

Extremely LONG wait times after self check-in kiosk (30 minutes). Another 22 minutes before called in for routine blood test. 52 minutes! Office staff leave front reception area empty for long periods of time. They see lobby full of people (11 when I was there) all waiting to be checked in, and no signs of TRYING to get people to the back drawing rooms. Very poor and lax organization and patient care. read more

Service was awful. No appointment as my doctor asked me to have labs done after leaving an appointment with her. I checked myself in manually and was not acknowledged for over 35 minutes when I asked them to confirm if I checked in correctly. She said yes and there were 2 ahead of me. Staff was all unfriendly and seemed to hate their jobs. I waited over an hour to get blood drawn. read more

Absolutely had to come on here and share our experience that we had today. After a traumatic experience at the Anderson LabCorp location earlier in the day, I took my 16 month old daughter in for some urgent allergy bloodwork to this location. From the front desk to the phlebotomists and the supervisor, this staff went above and beyond to ensure that my daughter was comfortable and felt safe while getting her bloodwork done. A public apology to the supervisor who got pinched in the process lol, but if you have any need for Pediatric bloodwork I HIGHLY recommend this location above all! We were the last couple patients in the day and they still took their time to make sure the job was done correctly and patiently, despite my daughter's obvious resistance. I have always come here for myself but will be recommending this location for anyone with children who need bloodwork as well. Thank you for the amazing service! read more

Sat for well over an hour, in a packed waiting area. Busy day maybe, no big deal.. Zero privacy/confidentiality. HIPAA? Out of the 3 ladies working, 1 was particularly not happy to be there. She was rude to say the least. Said she had to leave to be somewhere so she hurried me along. Oh, and after I pee'd in the little jar they give you she brought it back out and dangled it over her head for the whole waiting area to see. COME ON read more

Edit- the handicapped entrance is not your friend. It was great once I went around to the street entrance. It was confusing because the side of the building it said, ENTRANCE in blue writing. Ignore this. Go around the building to the street entrance. There are a lot of people here on a Saturday morning. I'm standing outside here and the door is locked. It's 8:24 am on a Saturday. Someone walked down the hall and saw me standing outside. According to the door, the website, the cars outside, it should be open. I called and there is a voicemail system- no one to answer the door. I need to get my labs done and came here today instead of during the week because it said that they are supposed to be open. Apparently- they are not. I even knocked on the door. If your not open on Saturday, please update EVERYTHING! Boooooo. read more

Stamding in a long line to register at a machine is ridicules and difficult to stand a long time waiting when your older !

Overall experience here wasn't the best. I made a 9AM appointment with their office, checked in 5 minutes early and wasn't called up to the desk to give them my lab slip until 25 min later. The gentleman that took my lab slip and copay was super sweet! Great customer service from him, and the phlebotomist who drew my blood was nice enough. read more

Worried because the Lake LabCorp location was closed and I needed a blood draw a.s.a.p. I called Gold St. LabCorp at 10:20 and the woman that answered, Jessica was the same person that drew my blood when I was very sick over a year ago and made me feel well every single time. Those dark days are over BUT I received her kindness again..she waited for me. Just want to let you know what a great person and phelbotomist she is...still. It never hurts and I'm not so great with needles....she filled five viles in seconds. Said I had great veins...but it was realy her expertise. This lab is great! I am pretty much a regular here. My medications are such that I'm required to get regular blood draws/tests. I'm glad I chose this place over other labs. The staff and nurses are not only friendly and courteous, but they make me feel welcomed, as if I'm home. We all know each other by name and there's always a lot of smiles when we converse. There have been only two or three occasions when my vein was being stubborn and the nurse(s) was/were patient and lighthearted about it. Never have they been anything but professional in their duties. I've never had a long wait, no matter what time of day I arrived (early morning, lunch, afternoon) and, they are open on Saturdays. 1st visit here (w/appointment) was awesome..got in within less than 5 minutes! The phlebotomist was really good (barely felt it) so the blood draw went very well! 5 stars for sure! 2nd visit, they didn't have my appointment scheduled (although they were the ones who called me & set it up) so I was there for an hour with wait time + blood draw! Love the employees here but someone messed up this time. Still, have to say the phlebotomist was so good and so pleasant. I still plan to return to LabCorpto, although I'll be making my appointments with the office on Lake Blvd. (since I found it to be closer AND the phlebotomist who did so well normally works at that office) read more

I have gone to this lab for,years because I can go at 6:30 after fasting overnight and I've always had excellent service. However I went today at about 11 am and had a guy do my blood draw. His nails were dirty underneath and in the cuticles like he had been working on a car. I should have asked for someone else because I was concerned about his cleanliness. But I didn't and now I have a hematoma! I will go back but he won't be the person working on me! read more

I went in to lab Corp on gold street for a glucose blood test during pregnancy. This location closes at 6:00pm and I showed up at 5:15pm as a walk in. The lady working front desk was named Tracy. I asked for help using the check in kiosk and she was rude and hesitant to help me. I was the only patient there, so it is not like she was swamped with work and her getting up and helping me was a lot to ask. After she saw what my visit was for she called me rude and told me that she was off at 6:00pm and told me to show up earlier next pregnancy. I was so shocked by that remark. This was service I would expect from a teen at their first job, but not from someone working in the medical field. After I checked in she called her co-worker, Marissa, over and showed her my lab order information and said "check this out" and then started to laugh. The expression on Hannah's face showed that she was embarrassed of Tracy's unprofessional behavior. When it was time for my blood draw Hannah called me back and was extremely kind. I was very pleased from the kindness I and professionalism I received from Hannah, but do not believe Tracy should be working in a customer facing position. read more

I went to this lab twice and both times I politely asked them to tell me what my bill was since I didn't want a astronomical bill by surprise. I have to a lot of medical costs and didn't think it was out of line to ask about what my bill would be. However both times I was told they ran my insurance and was told by their staff that my bill would not be over $100.00 which was vague to say the least. Not only was it vague it was way off. When I finally received a bill in the mail it was from a collections company. When I called to pay the bill it was almost $400.00 and after waiting on hold for 20 minutes they took my payment and refused to address my concerns. I asked if I could file a complaint with a supervisor and again they refused to do anything. They explained that the staff at the Redding location should not have told me any amount which obviously would make sense. If an employee at that location had explained that they didn't know the cost I would not have had them perform the labs in the first place. I would highly suggest you find a different lab to go to. My doctor eventually recommended a different lab after I told her about my ordeal with this company. read more
