Everyone at this pharmacy is always extremely friendly! They are also responsive in the app and I have never had any issues getting things filled at this location-- I come for my meds once a month. I usually would not think to leave a review for a pharmacy but the past few visits have left a (positive) impression on me. I called out loud for help. "IS ANY ONE IN THE STORE?" Some disgruntled bitch came up and told me that there is a BUTTON for me to push for help. I don't need a button. I need a self check out cash register that has paper in it for a receipt. I need someone to help who does not have attitude with me. It was obvious pharmacist was talking non-pharmacy related talk with customer who already had bag in-hand. When pharmacist finally looked at me and said do you need help and I said yes, he didn't ask the customer to move aside in order to have a private conversation... didn't care what I had to say and I didn't ask the customer to move over either. Anyhow, I was asking about a certain over-the-counter vitamin and if they carried it... not his opinion about it... but was immediately told that kind wasn't necessary to take but I asked if you carry it and all he could do was point to where it would be on the shelf if they did. Too busy having personal conversations to show me where it would be and to ensure I selected the correct one. Get there at 6:03 to pick up a prescription after reviewing the address the make sure they're open until 10 like typical CVS's. I park get out and walk to the door and see a sign that says they're closing at 6 due to short staff. I understand to a degree but should update the website to not waste peoples time. read more

This pharmacy used to be okay. Now it is just awful. I never do yelp reviews but this pharmacy just needs to close. You have to wait weeks for your prescription, even if you need it immediately. If you try calling, they won't answer. If you try the drive thru you can't because they closed it. The only way to get ahold of them is to wait in line inside during a pandemic for 20-30 minutes. I am surprised by some of the poor reviews this store has received. I can only suggest you let the store manager know if you have an issue. She is really concerned about making it the best store possible for you to shop in. Because I know that, I can continue recommending the store having shopped there since they opened. After they remodeled, it made the store brighter and easier to find things. Things are usually pretty easy to find and if they aren't, the staff will take you to what you are looking for. I like that. I am willing to look but if I have to ask, I like better than a point to somewhere across the store. As to the pharmacy. I have had good experiences there. Staff that doesn't do a good job don't last there. One of the best compliments I can give it is that if I had to train in a pharmacy, I would want to do it there. They are pretty clear about who does what and as a whole, are willing to help each other give you the best experience. I am speaking from experience with what the new asst mgr did for me recently. I would put 0 stars if I could . I arrived around 530 today not knowing they close at 6. Mind you this is my first time putting in an order here at the pharmacy. The employees were cool at first although when i arrived they said it would take 20-30 to fill out the paper work . so I waited. In that time frame they were closing at 6 and the employee didn't inform me of that and I didn't get my medication. Im not sure why the pharmacist didn't inform me of that after i waited. when I walked back up to the window he was very rude and proceeded to make it seem as if it was my fault. Either way I still didn't receive my medication and had very rude customer service . This is a review strictly for the pharmacy. It is a big mess of a pharmacy. I recently learned that they finally gained some stability by finding a new pharmacist manager. Prior, I saw a different pharmacist each time I was there. However, my hopes are not high as already from my first experience with him, he totally has some different priorities than what mine were when I was in his position. He walked right by, clearly seeing me as I was the only person in front of the pharmacy during my visit. Sees me waiting in line, no acknowledgment. And as his technicians continue to ignore me and avoid eye contact to continue providing only the worse of service, he made no comment or gave no request for them to help me. When the person in charge is so apathetic, indifferent, and unfocused, it can definitely resonate. Even prior to this visit, on my many other visits, it was more or less of the same. And it's generally the same two toxic technicians. Caught them on a mistake when they filled my prescription and they proceeded to tell me I was wrong. Luckily, I always take a picture of my hardcopy prescriptions before dropping them off so that I know exactly what I should receive. As they fix their mistake, which was just fixing the number of refills authorized, they made me wait 30 minutes. I know for a fact that it should take 2 min, on a SLOW printer. If they weren't a 3 min walk from my house, I would never have any reason to come here. read more

I wish this place actually had consequences for their actions. This particular CVS has recently not filled my monthly prescription that were filled for years at this same location. Even though I submit through the app, somehow this store never seems to get it the request anymore. I just had the Dr. send in a 3-month supply request because every month this CVS kept not filling it and I was missing crucial medicine days. When I would call in to inquire, they did not answer EVEN ONCE in the 17 times I called in 2021. I have to go in each time now, spend 1/2-hour to 2 hours in line, get the prescription ordered, then come back multiple times over the course of next few days to try to get my medicine that they tell me will be ready in a half hour. Lately, it has left me in INCREDIBLE pain because this is a daily medicine and the pharmacy not filling it has left me without the medicine. This last time, the store closed on me after I waited in line for an hour. I was also told that since my prescription was already filled and locked up in their store, I could not go anywhere else. Once I got to the next CVS store up the street, they were in total disbelief with what was happening to me and my family but yet couldn't help because of it being ready at other store. I called the single corporate number I was given at the store for complaints and was hung up on once halfway through waiting and then waited over two hours to never speak to anyone after that. Because I went without medicine and my Chron's flare-up was so bad this last time, I am told that I may need surgery to repair my intestines if I get another flare-up this bad. I'm bleeding and inflamed, which of course the medicine keeps in control if I have it. The store basically held my medicine hostage. They offered no way to get the medicine and it took 5 days to get because insurance would not approve to a different location. They also did the same thing to my 6-year-old with his daily breathing treatment medicine in December 2021. We had NO WAY to get his medicine and he almost ended up in the hospital. Here we are 3 weeks later, and he is still sick because of the few days he missed medicine early this month. What this pharmacy has done is illegal and they should be shut down. It's been almost a year of this locations getting worse, and now they are messing with my family's health. There are hundreds of recent reviews to corroborate this same scenario to many others in need. I can only hope anyone thinking about going here takes the reviews seriously. We have since moved all prescriptions to a new company, but this place is going to kill someone due to their complete negligence. I would like to see fines and fixes, because we as consumers spent a ton of money to make this company rich by ordering through them but they can't seem to spend that profit to fix their broken system. This is a horrible store with nice employees. I cannot imagine what the poor staff is going through and I feel empathy for them. They must hear some pretty nasty customers because I know I had to hold my tongue while I was witnessing all of this so many times. read more

While the staff is generally polite there are a host of issues with this location. They're one of many CVS locations who don't bother answering their phones. They complain about being under staffed however other pharmacies outside the CVS network I've contacted for various reasons have yet to have an issue. Sure I had to hold once or twice but they at least answered the phones and came back before too long. Get a voicemail or answering machine for customer messages and check when you can ffs! Closures. They closed tonight at 7pm however the signage inside and out say they close at 8pm. If they're closing at 7 shouldn't the signage be updated? I'm unsure if that's false advertising but it's kinda messed up to put it politely. Also, this is more corporate, however for the span of almost 5 years my CVS App and my account on the website didn't work for my meds. It was said there were too many inactive scripts. The CVS.com folks blamed the pharmacies and the pharmacies blamed the dot com folks. It's mostly working but it's a huge freaking company that can't fix its devices. The other thing is that you apparently cannot use the automated phone system to transfer meds from one CVS to another. Other pharmacies you can. The option in the app isn't working either apparently. Do not use this pharmacy. I waited on hold for nearly 40 minutes total trying to get in touch with a pharmacist to transfer a prescription for some asthma medication from Costco. They said they would transfer it within 24 hours even though I told them I needed it right away. Not shocked about the stores 1 star review average. I showed up for my appointment that was confirmed by CVS for December 12th at 12:00 pm at location 6002 N 7th st Phoenix, AZ 85014. The pharmacy was CLOSED when I showed up for my appointment. I told the rep at the front desk I have an appointment for a PCR Covid test. He said "they're not here, I don't know what to tell you". The undisputed worst pharmacy of all time. So funny/kind of sad to read all of the negative reviews on the pharmacy here! They lost one of my medications somehow and told me that they'd call me when they found it and never did. I take the medication as needed and had plenty to get me by, but it's the principle of the situation. Gave the pharmacist my birthday once and I guess it wasn't in the format that he liked because I was sort of scolded and told "Just say the numbers for your birthday. That's what you have to do here." I'm shocked at the new ways I have a negative experience here every time I go. It's the closest pharmacy to my house and I keep forgetting to ask my doctor to sent it to a different one but this review is acting as a reminder for me right now! So good job me I guess! Every experience here has been horrible. So many delays in getting needed medications, like antibiotics for my sons who had very serious skin infections. The latest issue was with my own medications. After a visit to urgent care I was prescribed antibiotics and was instructed to start them immediately. I didn't hear from pharmacy with confirmation that they had my scripts so I called to check in after several hours. I was on hold for an hour and a half before finally driving in. When I entered the store the line was 23 people long. Knowing how long it would take (as I have waited in similar line countless times) I had to turn around and leave so that I could pick up my kids before daycare closed. Pharmacy was closed by the time I returned. Worst customer service ever and honestly this pharmacy needs to hire some process engineers to improve its operations before someone is seriously harmed due to their inefficiencies and delays. read more

This is the most mis-managed store I've been in, even with all the issues that all retail stores are facing. It's the same every time I go there. Unfortunately it's the closest CVS in my insurance plan, so I only go there for prescriptions only. The check out area in the store is always a disaster and the line to get prescriptions is always 5-10 people deep, plus the drive thru where the Techs have a "old " phone handle to speak with customers while holding the phone on their shoulder like people did 20 years ago. Get a headset!!!! Such POOR (non) service. There is always a shortage of staff...especially in the Pharmacy. The cashier yells out to use self cashier or you'll have to wait. I was been waiting for 7 days for a new prescription that was sent in and I've been there 4 times and I keep getting a different excuse which seems to boil down to total incompetence and lack of care & concern. The pharmacy techs are nice, but you can tell they are on the "brink" of losing it, but I have to say that I admire how well they deal with the overall chaos and environment they have to work in. read more
