So we pull up, and the kid is eating cookies while talking to me.. really!??? Didn't say Hello or anything, no customer service what so ever! Please DO NOT talk to me with food in your mouth, it's rude and unacceptable! When he speaks to you, it's very demeaning and is speaking to you as if YOU'RE wasting HIS time, I say this because I've other encounters with Carlos in the past and it wasn't a one off! Ok.. oh wait, there's more. So we get our meds from Mr. No people skills and ask for a consult. Again, we're not asking for you to repaint the Sistine Chapel, Just a simple consult. My kid had a blood clot, was on blood thinners and now has kidney stones, I would like to know what gabapentin is going to do to my kid. The pharmacist an older gentleman (wearing glasses) comes to the window and says is this for you? I said no my kid. He takes the meds and rips the paper off that has the instructions on, and said just read line two and points to it! I said no sir, I'm asking you!! The pharmacist, not the paper. Again he tells me to read line two. So I said that is unacceptable and I drove away. I drove away so I wouldn't lose my composure. About 15 mins later, I get a call from the pharmacist (the guy in older guy in glasses, I know it's him because of his thick accent) not to apologize for his actions or lack of bed side manners. Instead he apologized because he's busy and there were so many people the pharmacy! side note: I could see inside the pharmacy from the drive through and there was only 1 person at the pharmacy desk, while all other staff were standing around laughing and having a grand ol' time eating cookies. In short, the pharmacist did not take responsibility or admit to not fully supporting me or addressing my concerns, just made excuses. So Mr. Pharmacists, thank you for not taking responsibility for your lack of support or concern, and thank you for making excuses, I will be taking my business elsewhere, somewhere will staff and pharmacists understand the value of customer/ patient concerns and needs!!! read more

I have reported this CVS to the ISMP. This CVS gave me the wrong birth control and has taken absolutely zero accountability. Upon picking it up i knew something seemed wrong, but the pharmacist assured me it was correct. The overall customer service was awful. I had to argue back and forth with whatever manager they have working just to get a single apology and to make it right. Avoid this CVS if you can. read more

I don't know who is in charge of the hiring process here but it's obvious these employees are more focused on their insecurities than on providing decent service.. For instance Sarah - the girl behind the counter. I'm just there to complete my errands, but she always turns simple tasks into a drawn-out process, like when I handed her my passport instead of my ID and she acted like it was some kind of crisis. Then, after finally completing the transaction, she felt the need to make a snide comment about what I was buying. Sarah, it's really simple... just do your job. Another time, she flicked my ID across the counter, didn't even complete the transaction correctly, and had to come back to fix her own mistake. The audacity of this girl to act like she's some sort of expert at her job, while being completely incompetent, is just so funny. Another employee, an older woman, transitions between overly fake nice and disturbingly silent, staring at me without a hint of a smile. She's too old to be going through menopause or to blame this on mood swings, so what's the excuse? It's almost embarrassing to witness, honestly. It's certainly not on me to tolerate her weird behavior. CVS, if you want to improve, maybe start by hiring people who can handle customer interactions without letting their personal issues run the show. This place has gone from a convenient stop to a place I dread, and it all boils down to the unprofessionalism of these staff members. read more

My usual location is 24th st & thomas but they were understaffed with one person working and apparently unable to fill my emergency antibiotics prescription for my baby. They referred me to the location near here in a target that wasn't even open for another hour. I saw this location and stopped here hoping for the best. I wish the employee would have referred me here to begin with but clearly didn't care at all. It's hard to blame her though I'm sure she's incredibly stressed out being so understaffed. I went in here and Kim listened to me and actually cared about my babies well being and filled my prescription for me in 10 mins. She is an angel assured me if anything like this happens again she will help me. She is the only reason I will go back to cvs ever again. I hope management values her. read more

My 5 star rating is for Minute Clinic with RN Amy and her co worker. They were super helpful. Thank you for your assistance with scheduling and my tb test. The people at the pharmacy let me stand there for 15 minutes before talking to me to tell me I was at the incorrect location of the building, pointing me to Minute Clinic. Possibly the worst pharmacy ever! Beware the 1:30-2:00pm lunch they apparently all take together. They seem to have a potluck that each employee must engage in even if they are in the middle of a transaction. I was literally in the drive through, lady had my prescriptions in hand but the note to use discount program instead of insurance seems to dropped off my record. So, her coworker informed me that I would have to come back as they were taking lunch for half an hour. At this point, I was so disgusted, I drove away. I feel bad for the people behind me in line who probably drove up to a closed sign after waiting 5-10 minutes. Ridiculous! read more

Hire more staff and reduce the hours of existing staff. It's apparent that your workers are exhausted especially your night crew. The female worker with the nose ring displayed unprofessionalism easily irritated and impatient. She speaks loudly about customers from their hair to her frustration with helping people at checkout is unnecessary. Her personal thoughts and opinions are better kept to herself. If there was a way to rate less than 1 I would. We always say how horrible this cvs is but have continued to go back due to "convenience." Shame on me. It took 25 minutes for me to pick up my script and when I asked how I could streamline the process in the future the pharm told me "I'm not here to argue with you." I asked in a kind, curious and respectful way. This is after sitting in the car for over 15 minutes and then being asked to pull around and come in. I was then scolded regarding the timing I chose to come pick up my scripts (it was 2pm and I was first in line after their lunch break). They are client facing and at the end of the day people are there typically because they are ill etc and to be tossed aside & scolded is no way to treat clients. I wouldn't have clients if this is how I treated people in general. Just be nice at the end of the day and treat all with dignity & kindness...it's actually harder to be rude. Goodbye CVS. read more

I was able to receive a moneygram here that several other CVS could not or would not do. The staff I interacted with were polite, patient and professional. The store is very large, clean with a large selection. This is the best CVS I have been to so far in Phoenix. Recommended. read more

I always have an issue with this CVS. I'm currently waiting in line right now to pick up a prescription. I've been in line for at least 30 minutes now and there are 3 cars ahead of me. I have called CVS on multiple occasions (not just today, multiple prescriptions ago) to ask if a prescription is ready (that was prescribed 24 hours prior) and I can never get anyone to answer the phone. They always play that lame music and interrupt it every 15 seconds to say my call is important to them. Okay, so on 05/03/2021, I waited on the phone for 3 hours!! With no answer!!! So I said to myself "girl, let's just pull up." Because I can understand having multiple phone calls come through, especially if everyone is asking the same questions. But to have me on hold for 3 hours is ridiculous and highly unprofessional! Why have a phone line when it's not utilized? My in-person experience? Iffy. I think when you get to the pharmacy and ask for your prescription, they literally fill it at that time. If I go inside the store I get a response of "Please sit down, it'll be a few moments" and if I go through the drive through, it's a 45 minute long wait. Like no honey, that is NOT okay. I will give the pharmacy the benefit of the doubt as I know COVID-19 has impacted all businesses. There's a sweet black pharmacist who works here that always has a smile on her face and is so kind! She even got my puppy a treat at one point! I also utilized their minute clinic for COVID-19 testing, and they were absolutely fantastic. I have been using this pharmacy for over a year and no matter when I call I am on hold for over 30 minutes. yesterday I was on hold for over an hour and I heard the music that plays repeat probably over 10 times not a single person answer the phone and I really needed help with my prescription. I am usually a very patient person but a pharmacy is where people need to really speak to someone and be helped and it really sucks not ever having anyone help you when you call. Today I tried calling and my line wouldn't even get through to the pharmacy it's like they purposely disconnected their phones. Not only is this location terrible but the whole company is trash. Every time I come there are no staff whatsoever- including the pharmacy. Not to mention their terrible hours. It makes getting your prescriptions impossible. They also mess up my prescriptions - for example today they told me my prescription was moved to Scottsdale. I never told them to move it which sucks because I drove 30 min to get to this location. To make matters worse they close from 1:30-2:30 and told me to come back at 3. The absolute WORST pharmacy I have ever dealt with. Constantly messing up prescriptions. Can never get through their phone line without waiting at least 30 mins. Sat in drive through today for one hour and 10 mins at 3 pm in the afternoon. Can't get out once your in line. Not one time in Sox months have they had one ready on time. My daughters are life and death. No difference to them. 2 other pharmacy's couldn't get through to them to transfer our scripts out of this location. read more

A few months ago my grandson came down with a stomach flu that had been going around. I went to CVS for some OTC remedies to help him out, but wanted to talk to a Pharmacist about his symptoms first. I waited a short time at the counter while staff were busy helping other customers. Before I even had a chance to talk to the clerk, the Pharmacist walked around to the front counter to help me. After explaining my grandson's symptoms the Pharmacist walked out to the aisles with me, pointing out exactly what I needed (Adult Electrolytes, Anti-Nausea, etc.) He gave me signs to look for when to take him to a doctor, and wished us well. He seemed to genuinely care and was generous with his time and good will. Then just this week I came down with a flu and went there to drop off a Rx for it. The clerk noticed that I have a refill for another medication coming due and asked if I wanted to fill it as well, saving me a trip. They're always great about looking for ways to save me $$ as well, but that's always been the case with every CVS Pharmacy I've been to. read more

se people send you text messages asking you if you are going to need certain medications filled throughout the month so they can manage their stock accordingly, but that doesn't make a lick of a difference. Multiple medications out of stock each and every time I come in for my refills that haven't changed date in two years or more. Multiple medication and dispensing errors that the DEA and FDA would honestly piss themselves about. Need I mention the Arizona Board of Pharmacy. I am calling on the corporate overseers who often are here, critiquing and complicating things for an already understaffed pharmacy. I am calling on them and the actual pharmacists who work behind the counter, yet never seem to be able to assist with an actual customer if needed. I am calling on this company to give their employees the tools and resources they MUST HAVE TO SUCCEED. WHATEVER IT TAKES! This just has to change. And let me repeat myself when I say not one of these things is due to a poor leadership team in the pharmacy or inept technicians. They have one extremely good pharmacist, who's always professional, so I almost didn't write this review, but this is the fifth time they majorly screwed up a prescription and it was terrible. Several times they didn't refill, then after our doctor waited on hold for an hour, they promised to have it ready at 1:00 and it wasn't ready at 7:00, and told us to come back the next day. Tonight I needed an item for my service dog that couldn't wait. The closest CVS to me was open until 12:00. Great! I'll have a short window to get in and out and everyone wins. I flew to the store and knew I only needed one thing and also exactly where it was located in the store. I half ran to the entrance and the door was shut in my face by a younger black gentleman. I said are you closing early tonight? I know it's almost time but I really need this for my dog here and I'll be out in 2 minutes. He opened the door about 2 inches to put the middle part of his face through the door opening to tell me- we're closed! I said I know you're closing soon, but there's at least 10 minutes left and I can see other customers in the store. He repeats his previous assertion. Then in a high pitched voice starts talking to my dog- like looook at the pupppyyyyyyyy *Squee*. Um, no. First of all she's a working dog and has her vest on that designates her as such- second of all, you couldn't care less as evidenced by not letting me get the dog's item. So no.... I upped the level to 30 SPF to deal with the 100-110 degree days that I spent in Phoenix. I would have brought it from home, but TSA prevents you from carrying containers larger than 3 oz. and aerosal cans in your carry-on bag. For me, it is extremely user friendly due to several things: Terrific location, great parking, 24 hour pharmacy (that means open-round-the-clock-----lol), and for me personally, a decent selection of candy!!! Yea! (My Achilles heel)... The business is kept clean, well lit, and their prices are moderate for most personal care items. You won't wait long in the check-out area, and there's lots of stuff to look at so that they get the spending hook into you....Just stepping outside, your blood pressure drops five points because you no longer have the shaving creme, nail files, or magazines all screaming at you---saying "Did you forget something?!" You have your standard CVS stuff: cards, toiletries, light groceries, drinks, makeup, a photo processing area, magazines, toys, and a pharmacy. This location has a drive-up pharmacy. Parking can be tough due to the busy shopping area it's in, and panhandlers are a near-constant presence by the entrance. read more

This location is always crazy busy! I always have to call to get my prescription refilled because it will just not process for days, even when my prescription is on auto fill. It seems like the staff is doing their best with the high workload, but it is a major inconvenience that auto fill seems to never work at this location. I always needs to call to ensure it is filled. Whenever I call to inquire about the status they always they're running behind. I am not talking about something being ready a hour or two later. I am talking DAYS after the set auto fill date. I will be switching to another CVS since I always need to be on top of my prescription to make sure it is filled.
