This is my go-to Walgreens b/c it's closest to me. They have the little things I need - snacks for the movies or toiletry items. I don't get my scripts filled here so I can't speak about the Pharmacy's efficiency or lack of. I also haven't had any photos printed here in quite some time, so can't speak to that amenity either. That's why only four stars. After reading some of the other reviews, I am adding: this Walgreens is in the heart of the city, so yeah they have a massive problem with theft/shop lifting. Consequently, their security guards are primed to watch people. I hope they're not profiling but I can't vouch for that. This isn't a Walgreens in a quiet little neighborhood so don't expect it to be. ALSO: I've never used the bathroom here & can't imagine it would be the most pleasant experience (someone specifically commented on that). Everyone knows if you gotta go, go across the street to the FedEx! Or the McDonalds on 7th Ave or literally any other restaurant or business. read more

Ordered a 5x7 photo print online, got Walgreens' own email confirming it was ready for pickup. Went to the store to get it and was told it had already been destroyed. Store manager said they couldn't issue a refund because the confirmation email didn't have a barcode -- but that's on Walgreens' system, seemed like the store-manager made a judgment call to destroy my photos and not refund me for them, I checked its not a system-enforced policy that's eating into "passport photo services". I ordered a photo album which was supposed to be done the next day. I tried to call because I didn't hear anything and it had been 2 days. I never got through to a person, was on hold forever. Then the next day they emailed me and said it wasn't available. This left me without a gift 5 days before Christmas. Luckily CVS offers the same thing and got it done within hours. Walgreens is not going to be in business much longer because their customer service is awful. read more

Poor Customer Service Called 6 times (in a row) to speak with someone in the pharmacy to refill my prescription (do not have RX no. and can't refill using automated system), no one ever answered or said hello, all six times the called was picked up and immediately put on hold- for a total of 36 mins. Around the 6 min mark of each call the call would hang up. When I called and selected photo, she answered 1st ring, their phones were working fine, she transferred me to the pharmacy (this would be the 7th time I called) and I was hung up on for the 7th time after holding for 4 mins. Called the Store an 8th time, to speak to the store manager in hopes to get someone to help me, in some way, I was placed on hold for 5 mins before I chose to hang up. I've been coming to Walgreens for 20 years. I've worked in the pharmacy at Walgreens for 5 years. I have a pretty good understanding of how they run a ship- and this store needs help. Extremely disappointing and embarrassing for those working there. I'm gonna try again, wish me luck. Also, Wag on Camelback- do better. read more

This is the absolute worst run pharmacy I have ever been to. They are always understaffed and it takes a minimum of 20 minutes to get your scripts through the drive thru. They could move it along faster by opening the other lane but refuse to. Andrew the manager over complicates things and arbitrarily decides what he will fill and what he won't regardless of how many years a patient has been on a medication. As a lifelong customer I was hesitant to switch pharmacies bc of the hassle. But after just waiting behind a car who apparently was waiting for them to fill his scripts for 25 min I AM DONE read more

Not sure what has happened at Walgreen's but the love is definitely gone. I dropped off several prescriptions this week and told the tech that I only wanted 3 of them filled for pickup the next day and I would order the others when I needed them, I spoke with the tech for roughly 10 minutes and he reassured me that it was OK to do just that. During that time, he made eye contact with me just once. I went in the following day to pick them up and they were all filled. The manager was working at the drive thru..when I pointed out the error, I got ZERO response. Basic manners folks...they go a long way. I've been going to this pharmacy forEVER and am so disappointed. This would have been even worse had I not had the means to pay for them all. Get it together, Walgreen's. This is not acceptable behavior, especially when the competition is so fierce. read more

Go to to FedEx Office if you need passport photos. I needed one and stopped at this Walgreens after being referred here by a nearby UPS Store. The first Walgreens employee wasn't sure how to work their new camera, so he and Employee #2 went back and forth about that for a minute or two. Finally he used their regular camera to take it anyway. Then, they couldn't print it for me because they were in the middle of an enormous greeting card order which apparently couldn't be paused long enough to print my picture. They took my name and number to call me when that order was complete and they'd printed my photo. Nearly four hours later, I called the store because no one had called me. I stayed on hold four long times while they repeatedly rang the Photo Department, and no one ever picked up. So then I was passed to the store manager, who put me on hold only to come back and say the printing equipment had failed. Uh, and just when was someone gonna call me and tell me this?? Someone finally did call back the next day after they found my pic in their system, but by that time I got my photo elsewhere. Save yourself the trouble and just stick to getting snacks, water, and cards at Walgreens. read more

This Walgreens is large and fully stocked. You can find anything would expect out of a Walgreens. The employees are incredibly nice and there is a drive thru pharmacy. This location is in desperate need of a remodel! It almost feels sad inside with how outdated it is and the old stained floors. Other than that it's great. read more

I asked this lady to point me in the direction of the shavers and not only did she...but she stayed there fixing the damn things. Really move along now b!Tch. After she walked off to follow some young dudes she made contact with me again to tell me once again when I was ready to check out she would help me in cosmetics...okay now she could just go to hell. Terrible customer service for pick up orders, beware if ordering a pick up. I ordered something at 8:15PM, which is well within their "more than one hour before close" window, after about 45 minutes of waiting I called only to find out the item was out of stock. Now, they are supposed to fill things within 30 minutes or so. When I asked the representative why they had not notified me the item was out of stock, she said they learned that 20 minute ago, but did not punch it into the system. She reassured me the order was canceled. The next day I got an email saying my order was delayed, and if I needed to cancel it to call the store. If you actually need anything urgently, like say a rapid Covid test skip this store and go to CVS instead. read more

As a Chicagoan I am a Walgreens girl. I tried CVS but they have serious issues with value and customer service. This is not the worst Walgreens. It is definitely not the best either. The main issues are as follows: 1.) No bike racks 2.) Nowhere even remotely plausible to lock your bike. 3.) Check out ladies who move as though it were 1968 and no one had anywhere to get to in less than 5 minutes. I suppose the other items are corporate which seem to affect this store overmuch. The nearest 24 hour is on Osborn and 7th ave. Not close enough. They no longer stock things I need in emergency situations... like canned peas, employment application forms and Igloos over 48 quarts. This store is always clean, has Milky Way Midnights and a good selection of tampons so its not like I am going to stop going here. read more

I had a horrible experience with the photo department. Online it says the photo department is open till 10:00 p.m. I walked in at 9:05 and the photo associate told me she would not be able to help me with a passport photo because she shut the department down at 9:00. I explained the hours advertised on line and she proceeded to tell me "I can't help you I'm already taking out the trash". read more

I like that this Walgreens is near my home, but I should not be waiting in the pharmacy drive thru for over 20 mins behind two other cars. On top of that, the pharmacy department seems disorganized as I have received a call to pick up my prescription and I have stated I will pick it up same day of the call. The guy on the phone did say he will leave a reminder and that it will be ready when I come by. I am at the pharmacy and it was not ready for pick up and the pharm tech stated that there was a call two days ago to remind me of the prescription.... disorganized system. read more

I live right down the street from this location so I go in for my convenient needs. Literally every single time I come in and it never fails. I hear the over head security call. On one occasion I was in the cosmetics so of course you will hear the security call then as soon as I picked up a package of batteries I hear a security call for the batteries with no one near me, Seriously?!! And it's always this location. Once again it never fails. I will no longer come to this Walgreens, especially if they make their customers feel uncomfortable, singled out and assume they are thieves. read more

The pharmacy at this Wal-green will try and rip you off. I called about some medication my Dr. Sent in to be filled, I asked how much, the lady stated over the phone its $39+ and says my insurance doesn't cover it...so it got me thinking so I called another wal-greens on 36th & thomas...well. Jolly behold my pickled toes...my meds is only going to $4 at this wal-greens and my insurance covers it...aint that something. So becareful when getting your medication filled at this pharmacy. read more

Some really phenomenal service in here. You really don't find that anywhere anymore. I went on their website looking for a specific toy. The website said that this particular store had it in stock. I drove over there only to find out that they had been out of stock for quite some time. The manager actually got on the phone and started calling around trying to find the toy for me. He was able to find it for me at another store and they held it for me until I could get there. He worked so hard for me and I didn't even spend any money in his store. Went to get a flu shot at night since I went online to make an appointment and got confirmation filled out the paperwork I got online to print out to give to them when getting a flu shot. Well I go there and told them I have an appointment for a flu shot and they told me they dont do appointments and come back tomorrow and went about there business without even looking at me. WTH! I don't come here often at all & I'll tell you why: overpriced-same-shit-everywhere-else...... Unless there's a "sale" item. Today, I went in for a quick pick-me-up of a few items(2 of 3, were on "sale"). I go up to check out, items rang up $5 more than I calculated & told the cashier that 2 items were on sale. He said well they're coming up as prices.. were they sale with coupon or what? I said I don't know, I don't come here often, I just know that they're on sale. The guy didn't offer to help me figure any of this out so I said I would go check. He held my stuff aside while I went ! Checked myself.. I took pictures, came up to show him the pictures & asked What's a "Less Coupon"? He then explained me me that it could either be a "coupon" from Walgreens or a Walgreens card. He then rang me up for my purchase. This took at least 15 minutes longer than it should have. First of all, it's RIDICULOUS that a person needs not only a Walgreens card to get an item for said price but to ALSO figure out what a "Less Coupon" is to be able to purchase an item for said price. Walgreens is supposed to be a "Convenience Store" although it's become an inconvenience store. You lost me as a customer. Jumping through hoops is to get the price on the sale sticker is not worth my time! read more
