It was only after 20mins and the line behind me getting rather long did a backup cashier finally get called up. Really wish they would call for backup sooner. Aside from this, the service from the associates thus far have all been very friendly. And their pharmacy has a pretty spiffy self-service kiosk that cuts down a ton of time having to wait in line for the single pharmacy tech manning the registers like at other CVS's.

Young, dark hair, RUDE AF, I really don't know what else to say to describe her besides she was working at 1:50pm Saturday afternoon (10/3/26) at the pharmacy counter. Handed me 5 prescriptions, didn't ask me ANY questions, like, "Do you have any questions, have you taken meds before, etc...". Oh, and the best part is this--AFTER the transaction, "Did you need a bag for .10?" AFTER SHE WAS ALREADY SLIDING ALL THE BAGA TO ME UNDER THE PARTITION AND I HAD ALREADY COMPLETED PAYMENT. Lord! I was like, "Yes I do, but how do I pay you .10 now, with my debit card?" #genius Anyway, please train these people to be nice, kind and respectful. No one comes to a pharmacy because they are in perfect health. And we (for the most part) live in Lafayette for the amazing atmosphere--thank you pharmacy teenager for ruining that clean, happy Lafayette vibe. The Rite Aid is a pretty good size for a pharmacy, no offense to the CVS down the street but this space is much larger, which includes a Thrifty's Ice Cream Counter, frozen section, beauty section, food/candy section, wine/liquor section and first aid, over the counter meds and vitamins. It's unsettling, especially when I'm alone. For a neighborhood pharmacy, that's completely unacceptable. The store is also poorly stocked. They're constantly out of basic items, and the selection is way worse than other Rite Aid locations. Even the ice cream--something Rite Aid used to be known for--is a letdown. The brand they carry now is grainy, has a weird texture, and literally feels like sand in your mouth. It's gross. This place needs a complete overhaul--better staff, better safety, and better products. Until then, I'll be going anywhere else.
