There was a bit of a line, but only 1 cashier at the time tending to the customers. When I informed the cashier that I was picking up an online order, I was directed to a white bin located on the outside of the counter to grab my own order. A bit odd, but I guess this store runs their online pickup on an honor system? They have their own decently sized parking lot so parking shouldn't be an issue.

Always being located on a corner spot, they are an easy in and out off the main road. The handicap parking is also very centrally located close to the doors which is not always the case. I am always pleased when I am properly greeted when I walk through the door. I am especially happy when a clerk or cashier look up from what they are doing to acknowledge a customer walking through the door. This store, like other Walgreens is big and bright with clean isles to navigate through. I needed a few items ranging from pharmaceutical to paper goods. They had plenty of items to choose from and I pleased that their house brand is a substantially reduced price and the same item. I had to make an 8 X10 enlargement and it was an incredibky easy task from transmitting the photo from my phone to submitting the photo to the printer. $4.95 is a price to pay to a print and they had a great frame at 60% off for 4.99. Overall a really easy and simple task from beginning to end. Check out went very quickly and I received the same cordial greeting as I left as when I came in. Kudos to a nice team here at Walgreens.

I was a bit early because I will be going out of the country and will not be able, therefore, to obtain the vaccine when it is due. My physician told me to get it early. This was explained to the pharmacist, who said she would NOT give it to me because, "You have already had three boosters". The number of boosters one has had is irrelevant; it is the interval between vaccines that is relevant. When I told her that, she stated she must follow CDC guidelines. I brought those up on my phone and showed her. She disappeared and brought back a hand written 'statement' from the CDC backing up what she said. At this point I realized that reason would not prevail and went to Walgreens on Lakeshore Ave. in Oakland, where the people were pleasant and I got the vaccine with absolutely no hassle.

I've always gotten questions answered quickly and they run things quite efficiently. I have to highly recommend the pharmacist from whom I have received my last two Covid vaccinations (and I'm sad to say I did not ask his name, but have learned through reading reviews his name is Andrew. Thank you Andrew!). He takes time to properly place the shot in your arm which can minimize soreness -- something I have never had another vaccine provider do. He throughly explains everything and I always walk away knowing a bit more than when I came in. Thank you Andrew and team!

I've been shopping here for a long time. There's one cashier who is frequently there who's always…read morehelpful. I've had mixed experiences with the rest. Today was very bad. I needed to pay a utility bill. I'd done it once before and the cashier was very helpful. He told me exactly what to do and I paid the bill quickly and with no trouble. I went back today and scanned the QR code at the kiosk as I'd done before, but the only options the app offered were to pick up cash, deposit the money in a wallet, or send to an account. This was different than last time, so I went to the cashier. She had no idea at all how to use the system. I had to be somewhere so I gave up and went back later. When I got there, I again went to the kiosk and looked at the website it gave for help. That didn't show how to pay a pill, so I again scanned the QR code and saw the same options. I called the help number. The woman helped me through the transaction and said I should go to the cashier. I did. Same woman, still with no idea how the payment system worked. She said she'd never had to pay a bill that way, which is beside the point. Cashiers should know how the service they offer works. I asked if I could speak to someone who could help me. She said she'd ask the manager to come. A woman wearing about an inch of makeup, white lipstick, and painted-on hair and eyebrows arrived, glowering and chewing gum like a cow chewing her cud. She wore a badge that said "shift supervisor." She gave no indication of being interested in helping. I explained that I'd paid a bill there before but was having trouble this time. She looked online and found the transaction. I handed her a debit card. She said I could only use cash. I said that I didn't recall using cash the previous time, that I thought I'd sent the cash to the store and then they'd paid the bill. She said I could only use cash. Throughout this, no indication of being willing to help a customer, just disdain and chewing her cud. I said the cashier had said she'd get the manager, and asked if could talk to the manager. She said she'd get her. I waited for five or ten minutes and gave up. I've researched how to make this payment, and it appears I need to bring cash to the store. I don't recall doing that last time, but maybe I did, or maybe the helpful cashier directed me to the ATM there and then helped me with the rest of the transaction. Unfortunately, this place is the only location anywhere near that I can make this transaction, so I'll go back to do that, but then never again.
