This is mostly for the bogus CVS care program They send you tons of coupons, but when you try to use them it turns out that there is fine print, like a 40% off coupon, then at the bottom in small print it says 30 dollars minimum purchase. Another time a buy one get one half off on toothbrushes, then they had to total 20 bucks! Definitely not worth it!!!! read more

Vaccine by Amy Check in by Sean LET ME SAY WOW WHAT A CVS! I'm a healthcare worker who is familiar with most CVS in Los Angeles and as a healthcare and it is exhausting to work with them. They don't answer and as a patient they're even worse. BUT THIS CVS IS THE ONE THEY ARE QUICK AND ATTENTIVE AND ACKNOWLEDGE YOU. I had 2 vaccines and the wait was nonexistent. Only wait was to warm the medicine because it was too cold but she closed the area off for privacy while I wait. when I was at the Beverly Hills one over at 9045 Wilshire, they just stared at you like you were a freak and didn't even say we'll be with you. I came on here to see if anyone was singing the praises of Kelly and Sean -- and yup! See below! Haha I only live about 6 miles away but that is "far" in LA geography. My medication has had processing issues at my neighborhood CVS pharmacy a few times too many and located my meds at this location. Note - I've taken this medication for over four years and it is on auto refill, but was told that even though it is on auto refill that they can run out because it is a "first come first serve basis"!! I don't know if that's truthful, but very weird, considering I always call the store about one week before I need to get it again and it indicated "processing" and then on the day I needed it still said processing I really don't understand... but anyways, there is a solution! When I first called this Target location about getting my prescription transferred in order to get my meds on time, I was impressed at the level of customer service, empathy and competency from my initial conversation. The interaction made me feel more confident about the availability for this medication moving forward. I arrived the next day at 8 AM to pick up my meds and was greeted by whom I presume was Sean in a friendly and professional manner. Since I had a new insurance card, I brought it with me only to learn that their systems are sophisticated enough to have it automatically updated before I even arrived! I was also able to get a 90 day supply of this medicine, whereas in the past it my prior local location I would always get guff about it and was told that I had to do mail order to get three months...(unsure if this was really truthful or perhaps some thing about my former plan, no idea, but all of my plans have been from anthem...) Although I'm not a big fan of this Target, I will be shopping here more now that I have moved all of my prescriptions to this location. THANK YOU!!!! read more

I'm writing this as a healthcare professional to warn everyone to avoid this CVS pharmacy at all costs due to the actions of the pharmacist, Shaun Shay, and his assistant. Their behavior was unprofessional, rude, and disrespectful. Here's what happened: I went to pick up my prescriptions before a two-week international trip. I had worked hard to arrange everything in advance, yet they failed to notify me that I couldn't pick up one prescription due to a timing issue. When I asked for help, they assumed I was "drug-seeking" just because I'm a student. Despite my attempts to explain, they didn't believe me, and when I asked if they would speak with my student health provider to clear things up, they outright refused. Even though they knew I was about to miss my flight, they showed zero empathy and made no effort to help. As someone who's dedicated their career to healthcare, I was appalled. My advice? Don't waste your time trying to reason with these individuals. If you experience unprofessional treatment, report them to the board instead. I'm writing this from my plane, leaving without my essential medications for two weeks. Please, be warned and protect yourself from a similar experience. In accordance with California state law, I am formally requesting that, effective immediately, pharmacist Shaun Say and his assistant are removed from any involvement in the handling, filling, or management of my medications to ensure compliance with full medication adherence and to safeguard the integrity of my prescription access. read more

I just want to update my review and say Sean and Kelly - the pharmacists there - are absolutely amazing! They are super friendly and go out of their way to help you. You never feel like you are bothering them and although they are always very busy, they take their time to speak to you on the phone or in person. I am so impressed with the way this CVS pharmacy is run and I credit it to both Kelly and Sean. Also, the staff there is amazing as well. I don't want to forget about the staff either because they are a big part of the pharmacy. Everyone there is absolutely amazing. Although it's a CVS and they handle a ton of work, they make you feel like it's a neighborhood pharmacy with individual attention. Sean always remembers everyone's names. The best pharmacy I've dealt with in a very long time. The pharmacist that run, the pharmacy are incredibly helpful and go out their way to help you. The staff is super friendly even when they're very busy. I usually don't have very good luck with chain pharmacies, but the pharmacist that run this pharmacy to people are helped and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. This is the best CVS pharmacy and the best pharmacy in general. I've gone to in a very long time. You can't go wrong going to this pharmacy. read more

I scheduled a vaccine appointment per my doctor's orders and the pharmacist, Shaun Shay, refused to give me the vaccine. I made my appointment online and completed all of CVS's questionnaires. I provided CVS all my information. CVS confirmed my appointment; however, when I arrived to CVS, Shaun Shay, stated he would not give me the vaccine. Shaun Shay was condescending and extremely unhelpful. At times his responses, were rude. This was not the first time he has provided my family horrible customer service. Earlier he called my husband to cancel his appointment and put him on hold, forgot about him, and then after time had passed, answered the phone and asked what my husband wanted. read more

This pharmacy has seriously made my life so much easier. To admit, my first experience here wasn't too great - I scheduled a prescription home delivery online that they ended up cancelling and had to call me to do it all over again on the phone. I was a little annoyed by the inconvenience, but it wasn't the end of the world. After that, everything has been smooth sailing. Aside from that one experience, I am beyond comfortable with the staff here and am grateful to have found my "home" pharmacy. While I don't call nearly as much as I used to for my first prescription (lol, I'm sorry I was paranoid), Shaun has always been so prompt at answering every single call. He is the epitome of exemplary customer service. I have only been a customer here for a month now, but I already feel like he knows me personally and is someone who is just so easy to talk to. By FAR the best CVS I've ever visited. I go here about once a month. I'd honestly drive an hour just to go to this location. The pharmacist has like a memory IQ of 150. It's amazing. He's also extremely friendly and helpful and so is every staff member I've encountered. They will go out of there way to help to you. read more

It might be weird to write a yelp review about a CVS but I've been to a bunch of CVSs in LA and this is the best, most professional one I've ever found. Super friendly staff (!!), meds are never on backorder, it's inside the Target at 7th and Fig so parking is validated and easily accessible, and I've never had to wait more than 15 minutes. Going to the pharmacy is normally super annoying but this one is great. 10/10 read more
