First off, id like to say how I (poss use to) love cvs and their coupon policy along with their customer service. I had the worse experience today, even if I were to disregard the failed couponing attempt- the customer service I received from the manager KIM at 10:50 am on Sunday jan 21, 2017 was horrendous. I was being helped by levie, my cashier. Explaining my failed coupon attempt isn't important here but here's the 10s recap of it. I was trying to use- manufacture coupons, Cvs app coupons and my ecb. Either way at the first attempt the total was not correct. Levie said she would call her manager, KIM over. The moment Kim walked over she mouthed "this is why I don't like coupons" I kept my mouth shut as I was hoping she would some how just push it through. She then huffed and puffed, "there's so many coupons here I can't go through all of them so void the transaction and redo it" As we did. But the transaction still did not come out right. Again. Levie being as patient as I would expect- asked Kim. Rather then offer a solution or any assistance- yes she was helping another customer because now a line is forming she responded- angrily "If the app coupons are not applying there nothing I can do" So I finally spoke up. I told her, there was no need for her attitude, and I'm not being rude. I told her the coupons are in my app I'm not sure why it's now showing up so no my transaction is not correct. Completely rude, she says "Well I'm not going to let her continue to void and redo ur transaction over and over again, you're taking 30 minutes to do your transaction" actually no, I've been here a few minutes. And there is no need for her attitude. I will be calling cvs corporate tomorrow. I tried today but they are closed sundays. Kim should not be in retail, esp cvs if she does not like coupons- and has such an awful attitude. This is good. A quick small quaint spot was really needed in this area nearer than a Walgreens or Target to get something you need without crowds and searching for parking. This CVS is replacing Hollywood Video. Sure it's small, but it's really convenient, this is still the beginning so I'm sure the inventory will progress as time goes on. Great customer service, employees are nice and friendly and there's a drive-thru pharmacy! Score! read more

Nice, new location, drive thru pharmacy and great customer service. Blood pressure machine inside, two window pharmacy and lots of of aisles full of food, liquor, beer, wine, health and beauty aids. Great selection of nail polish! Reminds me of the drug stores of my youth before the larger stores came along. read more

New manager has the worst customer service ever. Tried to do a moneygram and she said the transaction will not process. She would not show me the screen to tell the online agent so I asked if I could try the other register. She kept giving me excuses as to why it will not work and I almost believed her until I realized that she looks like she has no idea what she is talking about. honestly cvs is alright. compared to walgreen , walgreen is still better. They do have a bigger collection for their make up. But my first experience at CVS was horrible! I bought some revlon make up and the lady at the counter was so RUDE! I wanted to sign up for a CVS card, so the lady rudely handed me a form. and go sign here, here, and here. Than when she was checking out my items, i realized i read the sale description wrong. So I was like, Oh can i change my purchase? And she goes on complaining about how she's going to get in trouble if she keeps voiding my orders. . . So here I'm like... what?.... The customer service is horrible!!! My third time at this CVS! The parking lot is decently spacious at this location. However, the lot right in front of the store is a bit congested. When parking be cautious of the other neighboring cars because they will parked recklessly and ding your car doors. As far as the the store, it is fine. Just another pharmacy that has all the household items that you need. I tend to always get snacks from here because they have a wider selection than other places, i.e. Walgreens. The store is big and spread out on the inside which makes finding items a lot easier. The staff is nice here as well. Oh, items are always so you always get a bargain on most items. read more

I'm surprised at the glowing reviews honestly...I don't know if I'll bother going back to this location. Yes, I'll give it: It's new It's big (but comparatively to the others around, not that big) clean and organized good parking drive through pharmacy (which I admit to not having used though) So - I give it two starts instead of one. However... It might be big, but the stock SUCKS I went in on the weekend with my 30% off coupon and a list of about 10 things. After scouring the store, they had ONE thing in stock. Went to the San Bruno Bayhill location - they had it all! I'm convinced the staff is helpful because they have nothing to do! I've been there several times now to pick something up and even on a Saturday there is no one in there. Maybe they all have the same conclusion as me? I also have to say, if you have a stroller or a wheelchair, or in anyway have trouble with stairs, you might want to avoid this location. Huge entrance. With 3-4 steps down into the store. Weird! Why they would build it like that, who knows? There IS a side entrance to the left of the main entrance, but it's not as easy from the parking lot. Since they dont offer a public restroom, and they allow you to use their employee restroom, it is a courtesy to you. They dont have to let you use it. Since they offer it to you as a courtesy, and they dont have to, no need to complain about an area you arent even supposed to be at. read more

First timer shopping in this location, and I have to say speaking for the Beauty section they have a lot more in stock vs. Target. Thumbs up for that! It wasn't crowded at all either which I like very much. They have all the drug store name brands from L'Oreal, to cover girl, Burt's bees, Essie, rimmel, and a section of body sprays which very much reminded me of Bath & Body Dupe sprays. (Which wasn't to bad.) they had their buy 3 for $15 deal or 1 for $5-6. The only beauty brand I did not see was NYX, unfortunately they don't sell em there. again, i wish there was a no star rating because this is what this pharmacy deserves. nov. 10 - i came by to tell them about my prescription and instead of waiting for them to prepare it, i said i was going to come back for it. nov. 12 - i called in the morning just to make sure that they would be ready for my prescription so i could readily pick it up. nov. 12 - i again came by to pick up my prescription and told it wasn't ready and to wait. after some 10 minutes it was finally ready. people always have to wait for something that is routine. you treat your clients like we are borrowing money from you. your staff (monica, pharmacy technician) would rather argue with us instead of empathizing with the delay in delivery. not only is your service lacking ... your human relations suck!!! you're lucky to even get one star. read more

I have used this CVS for about 3 years now, primarily due to the convenience of the drive through pharmacy. I rarely go inside. The store is close to other stores that I frequent and relatively close to my house - or was when I first started going here. For the most part Customer Service is good; however, there is one woman who regularly works the pharmacy window who should not. I have been coming for so long, I know the drill. They need my name, DOB and or address. When I drive up and she greets me, I give her the information only to repeat it two or three more times. I find it frustrating and think she would work better in another area of the store. The pharmacy window is designed to get people through the line quickly and on their way to their next stop. Repeating the same information over and over to a customer rep defeats the purpose. Other workers know and remember who I am, but she cannot be bothered to remember her regular customers. read more

I have been helping my old parents picking up medicines at pickup windows and they are always helpful with smile whenever I pick them up except one old lady at dropoff window. I know she is always busy and always wants to make it easy for herself , her attitude and tone is not soft , no smile , impatient, never put extra effort and time to help customer's need and gives hard time most of the times. I saw the same impatient treatment to other customer who ahead of me. CVS should aware of it and understand that customer might go other pharmacy just because of one employee's poor service. read more

This CVS has so little inventory it's ridiculous. I have to make multiple trips to fulfill a basic list of drug store type of items. Additionally, the CVS reward dollars expire within 7 days! This is terrible! I know this may be more of a corporate issue - but this is my local CVS - and my experience is with them at this location - which reps the corp. Furthermore the lines are too long, the items are all practically unfindable unless you have been here a bunch of times. Take my advice and go down gellert to the CVS inside target or switch to walgreens or rite aid instead. Parking lot is terrible as well. read more

I hate this pharmacy. Rude customer service, prescriptions never ready on time, every time I go there, there is a discrepancy about my insurance or address, old and dirty looking, and a bunch of favored regulars who come in and get served quicker than you and often have long conversations with the techs leaving you standing there in line frustrated and in pain while you wait to drop off/pick up your damn prescription pain killers. NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN! AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!! I spent 40 minutes in the drop-off line behind 3 other people and then another 20 minutes in the drive-thru pickup line...and I was the only one there. Yes, I know that by their nature pharmacies attract octogenarians who want to spend the evening complaining how their insurance should cover more/all of their perscription, or pill-poppers who swear their doctor put in a 90-day supply instead of the 15-day as written. But if this place had any sense of efficiency, they'd have a "special window" to send these cases when they take over 5 minutes so normal people who just need to drop-off their percription can have a quick transaction and get the hell out. My transaction SHOULD have been quick, but the woman who took my order "no speak-r engrish goodly" and misspelt my name, which meant it took 5 people/tries to find my name until I (not "THEY") suggested they look it up by phone number, since it wasn't coming up by my name (that finally worked). Then when I picked up the order, they left out one of my medications. Not wanting to ever step foot back in that place, I called the next day to ask them to send the perscription to another location nearer my house. "Cindy" said she would fax it and call me when it was ready (she never did). When I finally called them to confirm, it turned out they sent it to the WRONG location 14 miles away. Not having to deal with them anymore was definitely worth the extra 14-mile-drive as far as I'm concerned. The 20-something store "manager" (hah!) is aware, but doesn't care. CVS in general is OK, but the people working at this location should be washing dishes or ironing clothes; something that doesn't require order-taking or communication skills. read more

Horrible service. First of all I've never seen a CVS so tiny! It has literally three aisles of products, and the cashier is the same person that you go to to drop off and pick up your prescription. So everything takes forever. Second, they can't do math and when you argue with them over how many prescriptions you have left and how many actual pills you have left, they don't get the point. Lastly, despite what CA law says, there's only one pharmacist so when he/she is out out to lunch, you can't pick up your prescription, and they don't advertise when this person is gone! This is the nearest drugstore to my house so we've gone here a couple of times but everytime we go there, no miss, they say it will take 30 minutes to get the prescription and say they will text you we usually wait three hours and we actually call them to see if the prescriptions are ready and that's the only time they'll tell us to pick it up. Not to mention they made my mom wait 30 minutes extra because the pharmacist was on her lunch and said shed be back in 30 minutes but didn't come back till an hour after. read more

They send me a text telling me my daughter's prescription is ready, so I drive down there to pick it up only to be told that the pharmacist is out to lunch so I have to come back later. Awful customer service at the front desk of this Pharmacy. Trying to fill my prescription three times here and each time I'd leave upset because of the workers' attitudes. My first attempt was with this lady worker, a pharmacist probably, who gave me an attitude when I didn't show her my coupon before discussing what I needed. Then on my second attempt, they didn't offer me any solutions or alternatives when they ran out of stock for my prescription. Finally, when I was waiting in line trying to find out the status of my wait time (I came out from work) to have my prescription registered into the system, I told the guy worker that I had to go soon, and he said, "you can go" without telling me how long or apologizing for the wait. Three encounters with aforementioned employees were either rude or not helpful, so I've concluded that I wont be returning to give them my business but rather go to the target two minutes away. On a side note, the drugstore workers are excellent; they are always friendly but definitely NOT the pharmacy workers. read more

My medical plan changed last year forcing us to adopt CVS vs. Rite Aid in the Pacific Manor shopping center on Hickey/Skyline (which, btw, was consistently excellent at the Pharmacy and highly recommended). CVS in comparison sucks! Their people are rude, slow, and without exception - EVERY SINGLE PRESCRIPTION has been wrong (around 9 visits thus far) resulting in multiple trips, delays, and lots of annoying pointless "discussions" with them about rectifying their mistakes. I may have another change to my plan at work and am PRAYING I have flexibility to go back to Rite Aid and dump CVS altogether. If you have a choice DON'T GET YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS HERE! read more

I've never really been a fan of CVS until I became a loyal customer to this location! I work near by and visit this CVS every single day. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. And so far when I go in to this location I come out with more then I wanted PLUS CVS EXTRA BUCKS OR COUPONS. The incompetence of this place astounds me, unfortunately I can't fill my dental prescriptions at Kaiser so I ha to come here. This is the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. Me like so many others must come here due to them being convenient. Every time I've had to come here, I've had to deal with one hassle or another. Super long waits for refills, and after sitting and waiting 40mins no one even tells you it's ready so you have to get BACK in line and wait just to see if it's ready! Especially the pharmacist named Cyn. His name should be D@%!KHEAD. This is the only place I can now find my Puffs Tissue with Vicks! I've been searching Target and other stores and to my sadness found out it was discontinued till I came to this newly built CVS Pharmacy location. The store is small compared to its other locations but its clean, organized and saves me time/money from driving far. The selection for allergy/ cold medicine is vast compared to other drugstores. The only downturn at this site is the narrow aisles due to it being a small location and not having as much selection as its other locations. The absolute worst CVS I have ever been to. A rat ran in front of me across the aisle, it's not clean, shelves are barely stocked frequently and the pharmacy staff is so rude. Came to the CVS to get a Coke in a bottle. After that I have to wait in line for awhile to pay for my drink. There was only one line open. Not good. There was a CVS employee stand at the end of the checkout line. They should have opened another register instead of just standing there. There were only two employees at the CVS. Only two that I could see. This location needs more employees and more registers open. I give this location three stars because I had to wait in line for awhile. They need to do better. read more

I have held off on this review for quite awhile as I know that pharmacies are busy. But this one, by far, is the worst. They have not had a prescription ready, on time, once in three years. This time my doctor sent it in front of me, while I watched, and they still claim they don't have it. Save yourself the frustration and aggravation and go somewhere else. read more
