After Walgreens screwed up a family member's RX for the second time, I shifted the prescriptions to CVS. Dropped by after work and there was no line at the pharmacy, unlike Walgreens Westlake. In and out in seconds and picked up the prescription. Store is clean. I don't care about chatty staff. It's fine to just give me what I want. This was a painless experience. A plus with free parking and a pharmacy drive through which we may use next time. read more

I have had numerous vaccinations and prescriptions filled here. I joined the Rewards because I purchase groceries as well. They have to keep so many items under lock, but they've provided an employee on the floor to help shoppers. I was so relieved, because there was someone to assist on the floor, as opposed to months earlier and post COVID it was impossible to purchase anything. I get my vaccinations here as well, and they are the best at administering vaccines.They have a complete profile and update it to communicate to Pharmacy. never have I had an error. They are very well stocked with other items neccessary for health care. I purchase more then I expected with milk, eggs, great wine selection, and the best snacks. I'm surprised at the low star reviews here. We did the bivalent vaccine here last night (me and my 14yo). Made an appt. online a few ahead and everything went smooth. None of my medications can be by automated system, nothing my Entreso, Carvidilol, Pantrapozole. All my meds should be set up automated , but no they don't cover it this way. Very rude no eye contact and refused to say Thank You! They would not fill my full order because they were going to lunch, so I had to send someone later in the evening to pick up my pain medication. Not only were they rude again but they refused to say thank you again, after we paid and picked up the prescription. When asked for a store manager she replied, I'm the manager and we don't have to say Thank you. What happened to customer service! No wonder CVS stores are closing all over! Spare your self. Don't come to this pharmacy. Staff was horrible. I was facing a serious complication (it was visible) and they treated me like dirt. Made me wait & then told me they couldn't help me. So I had to find somewhere else - where I waited hours for them to agree to send the prescription (which they never did). My doctor did. It was a case where time was of the essence and needed help urgently before the issue could not be reversed. Unfortunately, they didn't like the way I looked,ethnicity or whatever judgement they used to not assist a fellow human that was having a serious issue. Poor taste. I never complained or was mean at all. I didn't have time for that. I was dealing with enough. I truly just needed meds. Which bottom line - they did NOT provide. read more

It was very bad experience with this CVS. I picked up my inhaler recently, and they charged me $150 without any explanation (because they charged full price without insurance). When I picked up from Kaiser, it went down from $150 down to $32. read more

It's a busy place, one pharmacist and many staff. The also have a drive up window outside- that's a big help. There is always a line at the drive-up and inside at the Pharmacy window. Drop of your prescription and wait for 10-20 minutes or call it in. IF you don't pick it up in a couple days then they put it back and you have to start the process again! Sigh. Inside there are 2 lines. One line to put in your RX and one line for pick-up & consultation. You can use your HSA card to pay for prescriptions and Over-the-Counter Meds here. There are sometimes discount coupons given on items... but ... that coupon is for your NEXT visit and they expire. Do you forget these coupons like I do? I wish this was like Panera Bread, where they hold the discount and coupon in their database and will tell you get $$$ off!! That feels like a bonus! Don't give up, just allow a little extra time and you'll get the hang of it!! read more

Went in today for a flu vaccine, I asked the pharmacy tech "do you have the new omicron COVID-19 vaccine?" the response was YES. We (there are two people) are currently here for the flu vaccine, can we get the jew omicron vaccine? The response was NO, you must have an appointment... there was nobody else in the pharmacy. But we still couldn't get a COVID-19 booster without an appointment (I went online and no appointments were available for two weeks)???? Keep in mind, I was told they currently have the COVID-19 booster available and nobody was at the pharmacy???? CVS simply doesn't want to try to help prevent us from getting COVID! read more

This the bestests CVS!!!! The staff is beyond helpful, professional, friendly, accomdating, and well-mannered. I'm way impressed! I winded up getting more than what I planned to, but so worth it! This is one of the newer CVS locations. Nice location. A lot of the usual stuff that you will find. Home cleaning and care products as well as snacks and toiletries. Staff is friendly and helpful. The aisles are spacious which prevents bumping into other people. Close to freeway on ramp and off ramp. There is a gas station across the street from the CVS which is convenient for those looking to fill up or get a car wash. #primelocation read more

There was this old white dude behind the counter of the pharmacy wearing a red CVS vest, not sure if he works in the pharmacy or what he does, but he had a god awful attitude. All I did was ask one simple question and he sounded like I was bothering him. Made me almost want to call him out on it but I decided against it since I just wanted to get my prescription and leave ASAP. Confused by the low ratings of this CVS. I gave up trying to fill a prescription at the Westlake Walgreens after they kept telling me that my insurance was rejecting my prescription and that I had to call my insurance and they didn't know what else to tell me. I had my doctor switch the prescription to this CVS, spoke with the pharmacist about the insurance issue and he spent 5 minutes with me on the phone, resolved the issue, and had my prescription filled half an hour later. Definitely coming to this pharmacy from here on out! read more

This is my pharmacy and I have no issue with the pharmacy. However 1 star because they are still requiring masks beyond local mandates. Been giving them thousands of dollars of business in med prescriptions over the last few years. I am fed up with this CVS store. During the last few visits, they never got my prescription filled right! They kept texting me about my meds are ready for pick up! Once there, told me it is not covered by insurance and have to wait another 20 mins to get it filled if I want to pay for it. I had in the past instructed them to fill all my meds even some OTC drugs are not covered, since I have an employer flex spending med card that I can use to pay for them! How hard is it to get it right? The mandatory new prescription consultation law is stupid! Came in to pick up my kid's med. they have it filled this time! I am staring at it on the counter, ready. But the pharm tech says she can't release to me because the pharmacist is on Lunch! So I have to wait 30 mins on the spot! I told them I don't need consultation! The docs already told us everything we needed to know about the Med. so I waited 30 mins literally! Then Declined consultation! So I wondered why you tortured me to wait 30 mins??? One pharmacist on duty? Meaning they are trying to save $$ on paying to get more staff pharmacists on the expense of customer precious time! Slow and bad customer service, cheap company to work for. Pharmacy review: Love the convenience of the drive thru pharmacy! But by a hidden blessing the drive thru was closed today. So I went inside and got to meet Charlotte at the pharmacy. :) She was super helpful and proactive. She rechecked my insurance when she felt the prescription I had was priced too high! Two stars for the one time they were quick with my Rx. The other times were just annoying. One time I went in and asked about their refund policy when I went to pick up my Rx due to it being extremely expensive. I said if I call my insurance and find out it's cheaper to get 90 days filled vs 30 days filled, what is their policy. Girl at the pharmacy wouldn't even hear me out and said they always fill at 90 day, but this one I was picking up was for 30 day. Then I went to explain to her that I had a situation with another medication that my insurance covered more and my out of pocket was less at 90 day fills. She wouldn't even hear what I had to say and she looked annoyed. Then she yelled over at the pharmacist to try to bill at 90 day and they said it was cheaper. They wanted me to wait around the store while they filled it and they would call me. I waited an hour and they never called me. I had to approach them and it was just sitting there. Another time I went in and another girl at pharmacy said the pharmacist needs to mix my meds. In the past I've just picked it up already prepared. She told me to go to the drop box area, which I did. Pharmacist asks if I needed help and I said I'm waiting for the pharmacist to mix my meds. Another girl filling meds in the back asked if I needed help, I repeated I'm waiting to get my Rx mixed. The same pharmacist asked, I repeated my story. Then another girl told me to move to a different window. The same pharmacist again then asked if I needed help. You see how annoying this is getting???? I ended up waiting 30 mins to get my meds. I had another appt to get to and told them I needed to get going and if I could pick it up another time. Customer service does not exist here! I came here for the covid vaccine, waited in line for more than 20 mins and unfortunately I was completely ignored. No one showed up at the counter, the employees acted like they were very busy behind the computers. I believe that's the way how they treat the customers everyday, but they don't care that much since they get paid anyway. I don't think I will come here again, quite disappointed with their customer service, oh wait, there is no customer service here... Good luck people! read more

Worst EVER pharmacy. Pharm does not open until 10AM on Sunday, closes at 6PM on Saturday and 8PM every other day. Does not answer phones when you need a real person. The biggest disappointment is that CVS does not care about customers. I have a script that is apparently not covered by my insurance. That's ok, I get that not all is covered. But CVS had no options on how I could obtain this medication at a reasonable cost. The best they could say was "Sorry". I found a lower price for the med at Safeway (who would have believed it) that saves me over $110.00. I'm on the move. All my scripts will now go to Walgreen's and I hope that the next time I step into a CVS, that CVS will actually care about people enough so that we want to be loyal customers. Automation can be a tremendous asset. I have also seen automation used to shield companies from their customers and that is what I believe CVS is doing: putting up a technology screen so as not to deal with us pesky customers. read more

Usually go here to get my prescriptions. Never had a problem until now. I got three text messages saying that my prescription was ready. So I went to pick it up today and it runs out that my health insurance ended in December. So I stepped out for a bit to see if I had money on me to pay for my prescription. I went back inside and the lady told me that my prescription wasn't ready and that I had to wait 15 minutes. I told her how can it not be ready when her coworker literally just had it in her hands. She kept telling me that it wasn't ready and that I had to wait. After waiting 15 minutes, they never called out my name, they never told me it was ready, so I left. After getting 3 text messages telling me that my prescription was ready, you're telling me that it's not ready and that I have to wait, when your coworker literally just had it with her. read more

Pharmacy tech Kristine (short hair/young) is rude and made this experience super uncomfortable. Came in for a booster + flu shot, right off the bat her tone was super cold. When she gave me my shot, she was huffing and puffing the whole time. I also didn't appreciate the fact that she didn't tell me which shot was going in which arm. I had to ask her myself. I knew what I was coming in for, but I feel like telling someone what you're injecting in them before you do it is important. Even a simple "did you have a preference of which shot goes where?" could've went a long way. This was such an uncomfortable experience, she needs training. read more

If I could give this pharmacy zero stars I would, except for the pharmacist, who was the only kind and helpful person there. His "assistants" were four of the most unfriendly, unhelpful people I've ever encountered, And I was there when it wasn't crowded. This pharmacy is located next door to a senior independent living apartment complex, but I can't imagine them being helpful to the seniors who live there. These assistants won't look you in the eye so that they don't have to talk to you, and when they do, they speak in such a low voice and so fast that it's difficult to understand them. And if you ask them any questions, they don't know anything. Luckily the pharmacist could answer most of my and everyone else's questions - He was doing the work of five people! I guess CVS is having a lot of problems hiring semi intelligent people. I had forgotten why I stopped coming to this CVS, but my experience today reminded me.
