She recommended a new product from Covergirl and even took the time to help me find the perfect shade. She also shared a few helpful makeup tips, which I really appreciated. Made is 38 years without writing a negative review for anyone. Never thought walgreens would be the winner. Anyway, the pharmacy here is in an elite tier of absolute useless incompetence. Stand in line for 5 minutes and you'll undoubtedly see at least 1-2 people walking away from the counter empty handed and dumbfounded. Normally i'd by coy about this sort of thing but let's call a spade, a spade. What you're looking for is the pharmacist with the blue hair (big shock). Now while she has the education of a pharmacist, she has personally decided she's a doctor. You need to watch out for her, bc if she disagrees with your doctors opinion (the one with the actual MD) she will void your persciption and refuse to dispense it. Unfortunately this is what happens when you give a peanut of authority to people who were bullied and never received therapy. Which is all plainly obvious when you interact with her. I have watched (and personally experienced) dozens DOZENS of customers stand flabbergasted while she waxes poetic about her vast knowledge of pharmacology and how she can't dispense a medication until the doctor writes a prescription using the words of her choosing (that's no hyperbole I'm being dead serious). She has called an MD i see and made him (a doctor of 30 years) write the words that don't upset her fragile mind. One prescription I picked up from location 8 times when suddenly, it's verbiage perturbed her and she denied it until re written. Bur fret not walgreeens corporate! i've done your job for you! I have recorded in video and audio the last 3 times she's done it to me, as well as her refusal to provide me her name to file a complaint. Which uhhhh ohhhhh is against company policy :o But in case you don't like that idea, I've submitted everything to the California State Board of Pharmacy. Enjoy! read more

6/30/26 Came in to wash my hands and by something's. I asked the employee for the code she said "we don't have one" but there was a sign with the words restroom on the top I asked her as to why they had a sign. she than proceeded to say it was broken! As I was checking out. I asked the the employee at the check out and I asked her about the restroom and she than said "I don't know the code". Crazy to to know they aren't letting costumers use the bathrooms anymore. read more

Zero stars. Honestly. Drive to westborough and don't even think twice. The alarm for photo counter has gone off for the last 10 minutes and at least 2 other staff have walked into the back a few area. Pharmacy techs probably aren't trained but still, you can at least bring to attention that there's a line building to someone who can help. Then again, it's easier to stare at your phone and just walk past us too. Now, one of the staff left the register, looked at the queue, and noped to go somewhere else. I've never regretted messing up my pickup location more than right now. Oh great. Staff came and told me I'm in the wrong line when "online pickup" is LITERALLY hanging over the photo counter. The pharmacy here is impossible! It doesn't seem to be linked to the app very well. I get reminders to pick up and the prescription isn't ready. I get notifications to call the pharmacy to discuss an issue and NO ONE answers the phone. They close early randomly so no one is able to pick up prescriptions. One of my prescriptions was marked as no longer available when it was a regular prescription. They had to wait for the pharmacist to unlock it. It took a week for the pharmacist to do it and then when I went to pick it up, the pharmacist had a block on it so it took three more days, and I got a notification that they were going to put it back since I hadn't picked it up on time! Excuse me? I went three different times to pick it up and you wouldn't give it to me! They did not add staff when they took over Savon/Lucky pharmacy, so they more than doubled their clientele without adding staff to their already short staffed pharmacy. The lines are crazy, especially since no one seems to be able to get all of their prescriptions sorted out in one trip. Multiple trips are always needed. read more

I will never order items to this pharmacy again. The drive through was packed so I went inside the store. Big mistake, there was one person helping people and everyone had a special circumstance. I was four people back in line and waited at least 45 min. When I got to the front, they didn't have the two most important items in stock and referred me to Westborough. Instead, I asked them to fax my kid's order to the pharmacy closer to my house (they picked up the phone immediately and confirmed items were in stock). Walgreens refused to fax it without a request from the other pharmacy. The other pharmacy faxed the order twice and was on hold for 120min with Walgreens trying to get the order moved, they also called me at closing to follow up, concerned that I want going to get the medication. I called Walgreens during this 3 hour window as well and waited on hold until their system hung up on me. The order was never sent, I had to go to Westborough later in the evening. Additionally, they wouldn't give me the partial order without a consult. The lady left while I was on the phone trying to move the remaining items on the order and then they gave to order to me anyway without a consult. read more

They don't give you accurate information, they withhold information that could be used to solve your own issue, even other Walgreens pharmacys have wondered what is wrong with the when I say they told me to call them to ask about availability. This walgreen suck.... I use the call button at the photography section waiting for a sales rep to come by and it took them 25 mins to come and help me. Second of all, I bought 4 orders of photos for myself and the rep gave me someone else's order so basically in short, I received someone else's photo printed copies photos. I tried to return without a receipt, the sales rep wouldn't accept it. I told them I don't have a receipt and there's no use for this garbage if I were to keep it. I tried to return someone else's photo order to exchange for mine and the women said no! She told me to come back on a Monday when the manager is here,I went on a Saturday. How inconvenient. I paid 60 dollars for someone else's photos .. yes I should have checked but the sales rep who handed me should of made sure as well. I did not like how they did not accept my order at that time. All of them were not helpful when in fact I bought someone's photos there at this location. I didn't like how they operate. Everything was just very bad inefficient. No customer service whatsoever at all. I understand why this place has 1 and half star on yelp prior to my rating. This is a one star for me and this location deserves it. read more

Definitely the first and last time I'll be getting a prescription sent here. The first time I went to go pick up my prescription, it had been 5 days since the order had been placed and it was still not ready for pickup after I stood in line for TWENTY MINUTES. The cherry on top is when I waited for three people to finish and the attendant went to go help the person in the driveway before me even though they literally just rolled up. The most incredible thing about my experience? My surgeon prescribed pain meds that they did not pack!! My doctor never gave me a full list of what I was picking up so I had no idea anything was missing until my surgery date when the nurse asked me where my pain meds were. Save yourself the trip, don't come to this pharmacy because they're an absolute shit show. read more

Customer service checked out of here. Got notified that my envelopes were ready for pickup... Got there and they said their machine is broken. They were trying to work on it for a little over an hour, just to be told their machine doesn't work. I understand that there are issues at times, but there was no concern toward not completing a task for customers, just a simple "or machine is broken, we couldn't make them" after over an hour waiting. Worst Walgreens on the peninsula. Everyone barely speaks English and will make you wait over an hour just to tell you that they don't have your medication in stock. DO NOT transfer your medications here ESPECIALLY if you are used to the customer service Rite Aid used to provide. I can not stress enough how garbage the pharmacists here are. They can't answer questions and won't fill a prescription sent by your doctor unless you call them or show up in person even though they have had it in their system for 8 hours. Awful, just awful. I am here today, Jan 8, 2022 for booster Covid 19 vaccine. My appt is at 4:45 PM but get my vaccine at 5: 20 PM. This place is crazy busy, and very dis- organized! No wonder why I like Rite Aid pharmacy better. All staff are running around getting prescriptions ready, helping customers in line, staff inside the Pharmacy doing their own thing. However, no one is really assigned to help the scheduled vaccination appt. I called someones attention 3 times because if I don't say something, no one will pay attention! This review is not for the workers, who are doing their best, but for the Walgreens corporation that consistently understaffs this store. The pharmacy is a nightmare -- even with an appointment for a flu shot we still had to wait in a long line for a full hour. The rest of the store isn't any better. The other day I ordered some items for pickup, but when I arrived (with my email confirmation) the staff had no idea what was going on and I was passed from person to person until I found someone who told me the computer system was down. Walgreens needs to stop understaffing their stores and neglecting their computer systems just to save a few bucks. The pager kept calling and letting them know someone is waiting at allergy medicine area, the whole store could hear through the loudspeaker. Still no salesperson came. So I just left. There was only 1 cashier and he was so slow. And because of that even in the afternoon the line was so big. 3. Made a cash app deposit and the lady got real leery of me, separating out one of my bank's $100 bills and calling for the manager, who is also ready to accuse me of providing a counterfeit but is too lazy to explain why. I asked them to mark it with a counterfeit detector, but they didn't have one! I asked them their basis for this, the manager ignorantly said it just looks fake and walked away. Customers of this pharmacy have plenty of time to write negative reviews here because we have oh so much time waiting. The cashier had my medication but told me that I needed to wait for my medication to be released before they can sell it. I was told to hang around until they call me. I came back to my car waiting for a phone call but they didn't call me so I visited the cashier multiple times just to hear it's not ready and not sure how long it takes. When he finally said yes it's ready he said someone called me over the microphone lol You have to be in this uncomfortable store for uncertain amount of time so be ready. The pharmacist, last name, Kingsley was supposed to fill a same-day prescription to be picked up after 3:30 PM. I showed up at 5:45 PM and they asked how they could help me and I said I was picking up a prescription and gave my name. They said that the prescription came in but no one filled it and they were about to close. They didn't do their damn job and then the pharmacist had the nerve to say he was simply going to close the pharmacy without filling the prescription. I'm leaving on a flight tomorrow and won't be able to pick up the prescription that the pharmacy employee I talked to on the phone said would be ready by 3:30 PM. Mr. Kingsley failed to do his job and then had the nerve to provide poor customer service. Whatever I can do to get the attention of corporate I will. That was totally uncalled for. read more

Do not bother coming here to get photos, ESPECIALLY your passport! The passport photo taken by a Walgreens employee looked a mess. I was asked to put my face forward in an awkward position; the photo was taken up close, and taken twice. Needless to say I was seeing spots by the time the 2nd photo was taken. I was told that the photo would be ready in an hour. I came back in an hour and the photo wasn't ready, and the guy who had taken my photo went on a lunch break. He came back and rushed through my photo and picked the photo that had one of my eyes semi closed due to the flash. Needless to say I didn't use that picture, after paying 16.99$ :/ So I had to figure a way to take the photo again. I found a "passport photo app" used that, followed the guidelines for passport photos according to the passport agency website and Walgreens. I then sent the photo to Walgreens, all checks were green, I paid another 16.99$. And guess what? Walgreens check marks showing that they meet passport requirements are incorrect (as well as the passport agency site not posting full details on photo requirements; NO SMILING AT ALL! So again, I use up my time a third time to order a photo through Walgreens again, then find the photo system was down. I go back 24 hours later, photos are down. I go to two alternative Walgreens, photos are down or they did not have photo paper . Can you believe that the photo area did not have photo paper!?! Anyway, I then chose CVS cause obviously I had to learn my lesson from Walgreens somehow. CVS Westborough prints your photos in SECONDS! You attach your phone, select the photos you want to print, then the photo is sent automatically to the photo printer. CVS also uses the correct passport requirements. Needless to say DO NOT waste your time with Walgreens photos! read more

Don't fill your prescriptions here or at any Walgreens. Forget about Express Pickup or the idea that they will get your prescriptions filled correctly or on time. The line is extremely slow at at given time during the day they are open. I empathize with the overworked pharmacy tech. Forget about using the drive through unless you're willing to wait at least an hour to get any service. Walgreens can do so much better and would recommend getting prescriptions at Target, Safeway or CVS for a more efficient and on-time service. read more

I've been waiting 8 hrs and the lazy pharmacy staff said they are still processing the order. No emphathy. It is already late afternoon. I am in pain and I also need my antibiotics. This place needs to shut down. They hire the laziest pharmacists.
