I came here for the first time on a Friday for lunch. We were a group of 6 ladies. We arrived at noon. They had just opened, and immediately sat us. The restaurant is very nicely decorated. It's very warm, inviting, comfortable, well lit, and attractive. The seats were a little low. We doubled up on our seat cushions so that we wouldn't feel like the table was at our chins. The menu is quite large. It was hard to decide what to get. I wasn't too hungry so I settled on the two pieces of scallop nigiri and the arugula salad. The sushi was SO good! Very tender! Very well made and delicious! My salad didn't have any dressing on it, so it was kind of dry. It had some dots on the plate which I used to try and make it more appetizing. My friend got the tacos and loved them! She ate every bite. Another friend got the sea bass and also loved it. Her plate was a little larger so she had leftovers. Another friend got the salmon and avocado roll and she said that the salmon melted in her mouth! Easy to say that the food is amazing! The service was good. Our waitress was very sweet and helpful. I think the prices are a little high. For my salad and two pieces of sushi my bill was $40. Most of the ceviches were from $25-$55! We didn't drink any alcohol, just some ice teas, or juice. It's a nice place, and it's unique, but there are a TON of ceviche places and sushi places that are a fraction of the cost. I probably won't be back for that reason. read more

We visited on a Saturday, and there was a line to get in, but since we had reservations, we were seated right away. Definitely recommend making a reservation if you're going on the weekend. I ordered the Naruto Lobster Roll, and it was delicious! The portion was generous, and the flavors were fresh and well-balanced. The menu mentioned it came with crispy bites, but I didn't see them on my plate, and I forgot to ask about it. My mom ordered the lomo, and she really enjoyed it. She said it was flavorful and was very happy with her meal. The service was good, and our food came out in a reasonable amount of time. This was an accidental visit turned into a great meal. We actually ended up at CVI.CHE 105 by mistake. We intended to go to the restaurant next door and didn't realize the mix-up until we looked at the menu. We decided to give it a shot all the same. In the end, we were glad it happened. The food was excellent, with nearly laughably generous portions and flavors that made me wish I had room to try even more dishes (as it was we had to take most of it to go back to the hotel). The place is clearly popular since it was packed, bustling, and energetic. It does get loud (almost too loud), and the tables are very tightly arranged. I was bumped into more than once by both other diners and staff simply because there's so little space between tables. That could use a little improvement - a little breathing room would be nice. Despite that, the service was top-notch. They were attentive, efficient, and friendly even in a very busy environment. To eat, we tried the pulpo estirado, anticuchos de filet mignon and conchas parmesana. The pulpo was tasty but the salad that it came with was my favorite. The filet mignon was good but I've had better. The seasoning of the conchas parmesana was delicious. The happy hour dishes are on the smaller side, so if you are hungry or going with a big group, multiple plates should be ordered. The ambiance was good despite it being full. While my favorite location overall is still Coral Gables, this one is absolutely solid and I come here often, especially for business meetings. The service is always quick and efficient, which is perfect when you are on a time crunch, and the food is consistently good. It is an easy place to meet clients, catch up over lunch, or grab something reliable without thinking twice. My usuals never change. I always start with the Ceviche Nikkei tartare and the causa de pollo. For mains, I love the Acevichado 105 sushi roll because the flavors are just too good, and if you like crispy rice, La Perricholi 105 is a must. If I am in the mood for an entrée instead, the lomo saltado never disappoints, and the ají de gallina is one of my all time favorites. Overall, this location is dependable, fast, and delicious. Visited with a large group of 11 with a work event. The space is really unique with great decor. There were so many things on the menu that looked good it was hard to choose. Our group opted for the trio of ceviches and papas à la huancaina. The papas were not a favorite but the ceviche was enjoyed by almost all. For mains the group got a variety of items including lomo à la pobre, lomo saltado, branzino, squid in pasta and fresh catches of the day. All of the food seemed to be enjoyed and there was hardly any leftover. With appetizers and drinks, the cost can add up but the prices of the mains alone seemed reasonable. The food was delicious! Our table had a lot of different plates so we got to try a couple of things on the menu. I had the sushi that came with salmon and cream cheese, and it was soooo good. We also tried the sushi with scallops on top, but it was not my favorite. The lomo saltado was the table's favorite dish. It was so so goood!! For drinks we tried the sangria and a couple of cocktails, as well as some non alcoholic drinks. They were all a decent size and came nicely decorated. Generally, you can't go wrong with a Peruvian place in Miami for the most part. Ceviche 105 is a staple and a well-known chain that tends to live up to it. It's delicious food. This location in Dadeland in the past had been a hit or miss, but I recently went for lunch and was very pleasantly pleased. Seems the kitchen is doing a little bit better. It's not five stars because of one particular dish, and the loud music (trend) but the service was good, prices were reasonable for Miami standards and four out of the five dishes we had were great. The ceviche classico as usual was on point fresh delicious. The anticuchos soft tender beef marinated in the skewer style were the best thing on the menu definitely order those! We also ordered Ensalada Warike, I think it was the only salad option so delicious and my friend ordered the Lomo Saltado, after the anticuchos we decided that it was good, but the anticuchos were so much better. Finally, I ordered the Pastel de Choclo de la abuela, amazing corn cake casserole stuffed with beef and spices; at the Gables location it was absolutely perfect but here it was too salty and I couldn't eat it, I had to return it. I hardly ever do that but they immediately took it and told me the manager tasted it and agreed, and took it off the bill. No dessert this time but they tend to be pretty on the sweet side in the past all in all. It's a good spot if you're in the mood for some Peruvian food and then shopping next door. read more

Desde hace tiempo quería conocer este lugar porque todo el mundo hablaba maravillas del famoso Ceviche 105, y por fin me animé a ir al de Coral Gables, que dicen es uno de los más bonitos. La verdad es que desde que llegué entendí por qué tanta gente lo recomienda. No es solo un restaurante, es toda una experiencia. Apenas entras te das cuenta de que el sitio está hecho para impresionar: tiene una decoración muy llamativa, moderna, con luces, cadenas doradas, esculturas y una atmósfera que mezcla lo elegante con lo artístico. Se nota que cuidan cada detalle, desde la música hasta cómo te recibe el personal. A mí me encantó porque se siente diferente a los restaurantes comunes; tiene ese toque de energía, como de noche especial. Eso sí, si vas buscando un lugar muy tranquilo para conversar, este no es el más silencioso --a veces la música está un poco alta--, pero a mí personalmente me encantó el ambiente. La atención desde el principio fue muy buena. El chico que nos atendió fue súper amable, sabía explicarte todo el menú y te recomendaba opciones según lo que te gustara. Se notaba que conocía bien los platos, y eso me dio confianza. Nos ofreció empezar con el ceviche clásico, pero yo tenía ganas de probar varias cosas, así que pedimos la Trilogía de Ceviches, que fue un acierto total. Los tres tipos estaban buenísimos: el tradicional, el que lleva ají amarillo y el de rocoto. Cada uno tenía su sabor particular, el pescado se sentía fresco, el limón en su punto, y la textura perfecta. No era uno de esos ceviches donde sientes que el pescado está seco o pasado; todo estaba balanceado. Me gustó mucho que la leche de tigre tuviera ese sabor fuerte y natural, no tan aguado como en otros sitios. De verdad, el ceviche fue de lo mejor de la noche. Después pedimos un tacu tacu con lomo saltado, y aunque el sabor estaba buenísimo, sí tengo que decir que la carne estaba un poco más cocida de lo que me gusta. No estaba mala, pero me hubiera encantado que quedara más jugosa. Igual, la salsa tenía ese sabor peruano intenso, con ese toque salado-dulzón que se mezcla con el arroz, así que igual disfruté el plato. Las porciones son grandes, así que perfectamente se puede compartir si vas con alguien. También probamos un risotto con salsa huancaína y camarones, que fue otro nivel. Cremoso, con un sabor fuerte y muy distinto, nada que ver con un risotto italiano tradicional. Aquí se siente el toque peruano mezclado con algo más moderno. Fue mi segundo favorito después del ceviche. En cuanto a las bebidas, pedimos pisco sour y estaba fuertecito, pero en el buen sentido. Lo hacen con buena cantidad de pisco, no esos que saben a puro azúcar. Si te gusta lo cítrico y con un poquito de espuma, te va a encantar. También probamos un cóctel con maracuyá que estaba buenísimo. El postre fue el clásico suspiro limeño. Es una bomba dulce, eso sí, pero riquísima. Si te gustan los postres con manjar y merengue, vale totalmente la pena pedirlo, aunque sea para compartir. El servicio durante toda la noche fue muy atento, siempre pendientes de llenar el agua, preguntar si todo estaba bien, y lo hacían con buena actitud, no de manera forzada. Me dio la sensación de que el personal realmente disfruta trabajar ahí. La única parte un poco lenta fue cuando pedimos la cuenta, pero nada grave. Sobre los precios, sí, no es un lugar barato. Para dos personas, con entrada, plato principal, bebida y postre, puede salirte entre $120 y $150 más o menos, dependiendo de lo que pidas. Pero sinceramente, por la calidad, el ambiente, el servicio y lo bien presentado que está todo, siento que vale la pena. No es un lugar para ir todos los días, pero sí para una ocasión especial, una cita o simplemente cuando te quieres dar un gustico. Otra cosa que me gustó es que el restaurante queda en una zona muy bonita de Coral Gables. Se puede caminar por ahí antes o después de comer, y todo el ambiente alrededor también es elegante y seguro. Tienen valet parking, lo cual facilita bastante las cosas. We've been here twice since moving to Miami - once in January and once the other day (September). The first time we had our almost 2-year-old with us, and this most recent time we went on a date night. I will say that although we've taken our young child to all kinds of places and restaurants, including fine dining, this was one of the more difficult places to take her in terms of food options. We were told there were no children's menus so you'd have to order a full entree for the kiddos which was delish, but the essence of this restaurant is their ceviche and sushi which is what we wanted to order for ourselves... so yes I basically ordered an entire extra meal that we ended up taking home most of. But I was looking up the menu online now to find the name of a meal I took a picture of and I saw kids items listed.. so I'm not sure now if that's even accurate!) Both times we were given a starter of different luxury peanuts. (There is no bread starter, and the peanuts could not be shared with young children). This most recent time I chose to have a mocktail and ordered the Mocktail Mule (I've only ever had the alcohol version, and it was so refreshing! The Furai 105 roll had an interesting paste of tuna nikkei on top of the fried roll itself. It was different but delicious. We had this both times! On this most recent trip, we ordered the Tetra de Ceviches to share. It was a flight of four of their ceviches with seafood. This was AMAZING. Each of the flavors was slightly different than the others. We both liked the first one the best... but we're not sure if that was the "classic" or "ganador" since we didn't know which end it started on lol. But they were all good, and there was a good amount of seafood in each ceviche that we were easily able to share. On our first trip, I had ordered the "Mi Favorito !Lo Dice Juan" to share with my toddler.. and honestly this was to die for too. A fried tenderloin, basil pesto pasta, huancaina sauce, and a fried egg! I've never had Peruvian food until I moved to Miami, and I'm so hooked. I would go back to Ceviche 105 just for this meal except that I also would go just for their ceviche!! We got dessert this last time - coconut flan and chocolate cake. However at this dining experience, which happens to be one of dozens, the waiter was extremely stand off and had to be flagged down to order and get a drink refill. Also, I was a bit surprised to see that we were charged for multiple drinks when only an ice tea was ordered, I've never seen or experienced being charged for a plan unsweet tea refill, not even at the highest Michelin star restaurants. Service -- Our server, Harold, was welcoming, friendly, and was very well informed of the food and drink menus and provided some delectable suggestions. Food -- Ordered *A ceviche "Clasico" with nice chunks of fish, choclo, and cancha with a tangy lemon sauce, leche de tigre clasica and aji. Perfect enough to share and mouth-watering delicious. *The special of the day -- Battered and fried whole fish chunks with shrimp, tostones, avocado mixed in a cilantro sauce. It was one of the best dishes I have had in a very long time. It was perfectly seasoned, the tostones deliciously golden and the sauce brought all the flavors together for an amazingly delicious dish. * Passion fruit martini -- Definitely not for the faint at heart. Came for a family dinner and they seated us once they set the table for us. Our table was set nicely and our waiter soon brought us an assortment of chips and dried corn. We took a bit to look through the menu and placed our order. The food came out in a good manner however, because the seating was very close to each other the water struggled to pass the food around our table as she had to squeeze in between tables. Customers that were also coming in were sat around us, despite there being more tables on the other side of the restaurant, and they had to squeeze their way through as well. I ordered the Risotto y Lomo Saltado. The Risotto was very creamy and had rich flavor however, it was a bit thick and the more I ate the more I began to dislike it because of how heavy it became. The Lomo Saltado had great flavors as well but the temperature of the meat was consistent. I had pieces that were cooked medium, which is what I asked for, and I had others that were well done. Some of my family also got dishes that had meat in them and they too said that it wasn't cooked to the requested temperature. They were all overcooked and for one of the dishes it was very hard to cut because of how overcooked it was. I personally was not happy with my food but overall my family enjoyed what they ordered. Food is always good and worth the cost but the mocktail price was too much. Soda and Pasionfruit juice shouldn't cost $11 just because it has a mint garnish. Server didn't even tell us. We thought we were getting the juice price. Service needs to be better. read more
