The dry cleaner we used for years closed up shop, so we recently tried Custer Cleaners. They did a fantastic job on my husband's shirts and my blouses. My husband needed a favorite jacket dry cleaned but was reluctant because it is an expensive piece and is his absolute favorite to wear. After seeing the work Custer Cleaners did on our other garments, hubby took his jacket in. They cleaned it same day, and it came out looking brand new! They did a fabulous job, and the cost was $17. We expected to pay much more for that item because of its construction and were pleasantly surprised at the cost. This store does dry cleaning every day. In my naivete, I didn't realize not every "dry cleaner" actually does dry cleaning every day. Many only offer that service one or two days a week. The other days, they simply do laundry. These nice folks taught us a lot about the business, and we're grateful for their expertise and quality work. read more

I would give 0 stars if I could. They mixed up suit jackets with me and someone else. So I got home with the wrong suit jacket. I don't wear suits often so it took a little while to discover the error. When I told them about it they treated me like it was my fault and that I must have made a mistake. Mixing up the order is bad enough but how they treated me was even worse. I'll never use this place again and would urge everyone to go elsewhere. They clearly cannot keep track of the items they have in inventory. If anyone is missing a Calvin Klein suit jacket, I might have yours! read more

Avoid this place! I brought a 50s poodle skirt with a few droplets of chocolate on the side. They successfully removed the chocolate, but returned it with a new 3 inch black mark on the other side and a different brownish stain near the waistband! I objected to paying $7+ for the service, and was told that they could maybe try to clean it again. No thanks. Now there will not be time to have it done elsewhere. I came here to get my lengha and blouse altered and was very pleased that my outfit fit perfectly! Very timely and great value!

She continues to have great service. We have had 2 rugs cleaned plus alterations. She will even call you if it's been an extended amount of time since you dropped off your items. Nice couple!! Always courteous, respectful, and nice. We have great conversations when I stop by. Love the fact they have drive thru!! Lastly, their prices are so reasonable! I regret using them. I had a nice waistcoat that had the one wrist area stretched out after they cleaned, ruined. I also seem to get a spate of scam texts from odd places within a day after I used them, happened more than once. I wonder if they are keeping my personal information secure or selling my data? read more

I had an event and was unsure of which dress I wanted to wear so I took 3 dress (same type just different colors) to get taken in on each side. The work was lackluster at best. It wasn't taken it all the way down the length of the dress so in my hip area it's a bit of bunching. I ended up not wearing any of the dresses and on top of spending 50 for the alterations, I had to purchase a whole new dress. Very unhappy with the service. Will not be returning. read more

Horrible service. Dropped off a brand new sweater this morning, told it would be ready this afternoon. Not only was it not ready it had a wet food stain on the back. No apology and not concerned with the stain or that it wasn't cleaned. Also, place is a complete pig sty. Baskets of unorganized dirty clothes in the front. Favorite dry cleaners in the area! I've always loved how fast drop off and pick up are at this place due to the drive through and quick service. That started before 2020, but the system has worked perfectly during as well. My clothes are usually ready to be picked up within a day or two and they're usually done perfectly and reasonably priced. One time, a button had come off a shirt after I picked it up, and I brought it back and it was replaced and fixed free of charge. Swinging by the dry cleaners is always a fast and easy errand on my to do list because of this place and I am grateful. read more

I was ironing a dress shirt and inadvertently melted a couple tiny pieces of rubber (which flaked off from the elastic band of a very old ironing board cover) into the shirt. This was a brand new, fairly expensive dress shirt I had just purchased. I couldn't remove these with soap and water, so I took the shirt to Custer Cleaners. I was concerned about any possibility of the solvent (used to remove the rubber streaks) discoloring the shirt. The owner assured me it could be done, and indeed, when I picked up the shirt the next day, there was no trace of the streaks and no discoloration. He did an excellent job and charged a very reasonable fee. I will definitely go back to Custer Cleaners for any future dry cleaning needs. read more

We discovered this jewel among dry cleaners in the last 18 months. The most unique thing about them is their DRIVE THROUGH service! In the times of COVID what a timely offering!! And Shehnaaz the owner is so personable and caring. They are across from Calloway on Custer between Park and 15th. I use them for laundry, alterations and cleaning. My wife found a nice coat at Goodwill, but it had some small stains and minor blemishes. Dropped it off at Custer Cleaners on Monday, picked it up the next day and it looked brand new. I used think that this cleaners was a good and reputable business until they recently started losing my clothes. The worker claimed that she didn't have any of my clothes that I lost. However, I've been going to this place for a year and just now they're just losing my clothes?? I understand that sometimes people make mistakes, but it was starting to be a continuous thing. I've tried other cleaners in the area. They are by far the best. Very friendly, good service. I've had them do a variety of things, men's clothes, woman's clothes, suits, even a down sleeping bag. I paid $20 to have a down jacket dry cleaned and this is the result. I told the owner that I just want a refund and he straight up told me "We tried to clean it and it is clean". I hope he understands tried cleaning it does not mean it is actually clean. You can trust them if the down jacket in my picture means clean to you by any means. read more

The only reason these people are getting three stars is because my dry cleaning was actually spotless, pressed, and cat/dog hair free. Other than that I was not impressed. I took a pair of pant, skirt, blouse, and satin shirt in. The pants needed the hem redone on one leg. I showed this to the guy I turned it into and he nodded. Looked like his English skills were nill to none. Well When I picked up the clothes sure enough no hemming was done. Surprise surprise!!! Well also it was a little expensive. Almost $20 for and no hemming work done. Well she said she could fix it really quick but I was in no mood. Will not be returning here! I love these cleaners! Not only do their hours really work for us (in before 10 out by 5) and they are open until 7, but they are so amazing to work with. I had tried a few cleaners that were closer to my home, however, there were times that even if I dropped off my clothes before 8 they would not be ready at 5. Very friendly and my clothes come out looking great. I would also like to add that there was one day I barely missed 10 am and needed clothes for the next day, I knew it would be a stretch but asked if they could at least get one shirt and one set of pants and they very generously agreed to do that, but when i went to pick it up they had all of my clothes done.
