I think this is how they are trying to distinguish themselves from the rest, and I'm sold. I brought two suits to be dry cleaned and I got exactly the service I wanted with a decent turn around of 2 days. Depending on who is working the interaction may not be the best customer service, but they are direct and straight to the point, and I'm okay with that. I have been a customer here for at least 7-8 years, until today. I get press only and today the price increased drastically. I've watched the prices constantly increase, but still kept going. When the rude old lady with the glasses rattled off the price and I inquired about the price of each item, she got snappy and rude and almost refused to give me an itemized receipt. Once I got it, I couldn't believe my eyes. These are not special material items, I just don't iron. They have added up charges to items and a new EV fee with zero explanation. They have raised overall prices and then try to fool you with the "15% discount. When asked what the up charges were, she proceeded to say everything is going up everywhere. Unbelievable. They don't value their customers at all. I won't be returning and don't recommend them at all. She can't show you an itemized receipt until she swipes your card. Shady practices. I took clothes to have dry cleaned on a Tuesday and J. C. Told me they would be ready on a Thursday any time of day. They were not. J. C. Was not a nice person and she did not tell the truth. She tried to blame the circumstance on someone else. Very unprofessional. Several days later I called and tried to talk to the owner was told she is out of country. Tried to talk to the manager and she was out of country. Was told sometime they have bad days. I'm paying them to do my dry cleaning and it's alright for them to have a bad day and lie to a customer? If you care about your clothes, do not bring them here! Very rude owners/mangers. They ruined my clothes! When I pointed it out that my white shorts were yellowish and seemed burnt, and they only cleaned half of one dress (which stains obviously came off), and my black dress was shiny and felt burnt in some areas, and they didn't even cleaned well the other two items. A very rude lady came and said they did the best they could and that they are not responsible for any damage to my clothes since they were like that already. I told her the black dress was new and I only wore once and it was now damaged. She handed me a 30% off coupon to use next time and walked away left me talking by my self. I went in LeBon today to pick up a bunch of shirts that I had left to be laundered. The bill was more than I expected, so I asked how much the shirts are, just out of curiosity. I had already paid the bill and wasn't complaining, just seeing why it was so much. When I got to my car, I used my calculator, added the tax, and it still didn't come up to the amount I paid. It wasn't but a couple of dollars difference and like I said I had already paid the bill, but I thought maybe it was incorrect and went back in to ask. A woman, I'm assuming the owner or at least the manager came up to me and very coldly asked if there was a problem. I told her no, I was just checking to see if the amount was correct. She showed me the receipt and explained that an additional charge was for something they pay the government. ?? Ok...I guess maybe they do. Again, I wasn't complaining, just curious. As I was leaving, another customer walked out at the same time I did, and I figured she wondered what I was questioning so I just told her I was asking the price of the shirts because I didn't even know how much they charge and was surprised at the total. That's all we said to each other. When I got in my car, the lady (owner?) from the cleaners came out to my window. I honestly thought she might be coming to apologize for being a little curt, but no, she started ranting and raving and told me I could just leave and never come back...and I shouldn't be talking to her customers!! I have been going to that cleaners for years and have never had a problem with them. But like most of us, I don't check receipts and don't bother to ask how much things cost beforehand, so I was just finding out what I was paying for. Trust me, I won't ever return to that store and that extremely rude lady and wanted others to know that you don't dare ask the prices or what you're paying for in there!
