I have been using Prestonwood Dry Cleaners for years. They are under new ownership and the dry-cleaning service has deteriorated. The counter clerks are kind and professional, sorry they work in this environment. I recently had a garment dry cleaned, when it was time to pick-up the garment it was dirty and unwearable. I spoke with the co-owner who promised to compensate the damages by sending a check in the mail. This never occurred even after the many follow-up phone calls, text messages, and in person contact with both counter clerks. After a period of time the owners decided to disengage in conversation with me. I am now in possession of a garment which is distasteful, discolored, and not in its original condition. I do not recommend Prestonwood Dry Cleaner for any cleaning services. Stay away! read more

Since the new owners took over the customer service is non existent. They ruined two of my blouses and no apology or attempt to make it right. Prices also increased with new owners but customer service declined. The girls who work the front are rude and barely speak. We have been customers for years but will look elsewhere! read more

I have been using Prestonwood Cleaners for 20 years. I have been getting texts recently offering 15% off on dry cleaning. This is probably because a new Cleaners (Quest Cleaners) has opened up one block away. I needed to drop off some cleaning today so I went by Prestonwood at 1:45 pm. Their door was locked and a handwritten note was on the door that said "Back in One Hour". I left and returned at 3:00 pm and they were still closed!!! Well, I went to check out Question Cleaning and they were open for business. I dropped my cleaning off with them. I may have found a new Dry Cleaners. read more

I've been going to this cleaner consistently for over the past 2 years, and I noticed they changed management recently. I needed 3 things hemmed, and it was promised about 5 days after I dropped it off, which was normal to what I have previously expected. First, those items were not ready until over 10 days later, which was more than 2x the time from what I was told. Second, out of the 3 things I needed hemming on, only ONE turned out correct. One (a simple quarter zip) was not even touched. The other one was a dress where I specified that I would like the sleeves to be *thinner* and the note on the dress they left even said that. However, my dress I got back had the sleeves SHORTENED. Well, I certainly can't get the original long-sleeve look of that dress back since thats an irreversible change. So all in all, I wasted a lot of time over the last few weeks only to get one tshirt correctly hemmed, one of my dresses ruined, and could have kept my quarter zip with me if I knew it wasn't even going to be touched. Will be finding a new cleaner/tailor. read more

Also, they smelled nice -- not over-powering (I like that they are environmental cleaners).
