Anhs Tailor is quick and affordable. I don't often send much on clothes so then I often feel like it isn't worth it to tailor. I can do minor things myself, but needed a dress taken in and they did an awesome job and it didn't cost me a fortune. I feel like there used to be lots of tailors around and now there are not as many...I guess everyone wears ath-leisure clothes, but there are times you need a tailor and it is nice to know of one. Their sign says that they are open at 10am. I arrived at 10:05 am but door was locked. I called them and lady said that they don't open until 11am. I suggested that they change the hours on their sign and on Goggle but she didn't seem concerned about it. I'm pissed that they didn't open when they were supposed to. read more

I don't think anyone knows how much this means to me...... to finally be able to alter all my suits to get the best proper fit. Being a dumb guy, i bought some suits off the rack at dillards. Anyone who know's anything about suits knows that these are the worst fitting suits unless you are 1. Extremely square built or 2. have a bmi of over 52. I needed to get my coats tapered and pants slimmed and a friend of mine recommended me to Anh's Tailor. I was skeptical at first because i wasn't sure if a vietnamese lady would understand how modern i wanted the suit to look, but i was completely wrong. Not only were my coats tapered and pants slimmed, they were also able to broaden the shoulders to make it fit perfectly when i was relaxed. Some people might be uncomfortable of the restrictions when wearing a suit but once you put on a perfectly fitting "custom" suit, it's extremely comfortable. There are many tailors out there in DFW who specialize in bespoke or custom suits, but are you really gonna spend 1k+ on that? I had my wedding dress altered here and so glad I did! I was worried because the dress was exactly what I wanted but it was a size 6, whereas I'm a size 2. As you can see, this was a problem. I came across Anhs Tailor shop due to people telling me she does a wonderful job and is experienced with wedding gown alterations. YAY!! The lady was super nice and immediately wanted me to put on my dress. She pinned me up and also made my bustle for the train. I came back in just a week to try it on! The results were astonishing. It looked as if the dress came as is and fit me perfectly! She even added the bra cushion in, which made it an even better fit and very natural. I would recommend anyone that needs their gown altered here. I used to go to Unique Tailor and Henry's Tailor Shop to get my shirts tailored. However, I hated the drive so I asked a few friends on recommendations closer to me and they suggested this place. I frequenting QQ Teahouse regularly which is literally around the corner, but never knew about this place. I don't think anyone would know about Anh's Tailor unless they were referred by someone that's been and that seems to be the way their business is run. Walking in, I was taken aback by some kids running around and how cluttered the place felt with racks set up everywhere. But I soon forgot all that as the tailor asked me how I wanted to shirts to fit. She pinned my shirts and made sure I was happy before moving on to the next shirts. All 7 of them. She was very patient and I was out of there in no time. She told me to come back in 4 days and when I picked up my shirts I was so happy! My shirts fit very well and the quality of the stitching is right on par with Unique Tailor, which until now I thought was the best place to take care of all your tailoring needs. My daughter just went in to have the job that they were hired to do fixed and was LITERALLY yelled at! I thought there was no way that could be possible so I called to discuss with the owners daughter and she immediately started screaming at me! We hired them to fold up a seam and hem the inner shell. They gave us a lower price because I told them there was no need to hem the multiple layers of tulle. The woman was highly unprofessional and rude. I also didn't think tnhge quality was good. The man behind the counter was not too friendly but the remainder of the staff were. However the timeframe to alter my dress was longer than I expected. (Around three weeks) Due to their hours I was unable to pick up my dress and had to send a friend. When I tried my dress on at home the straps had been sewn on twisted and a clasp is missing. I'm now a week away from my event and having to correct the issues on my own. This could have been prevented of course had I been able to get the dress on my own and evaluate in shop. For $70 to take in, add bra pads and move straps though the work should have been perfect. Quality checks are pretty standard in most shops. I'm giving three stars because the work that is correct on the dress is good, docking two stars because now I'm inconvenienced and having to scramble to fix mistakes days before the event. read more
