I went in to have them tailor several pairs of pants, a romper and a blazer. 5 stars on the service as someone who is from Los Angeles and maybe pampered with knowing a lot of place out there, the price is a little steeper than I would like, so that brings my rating down to 4 stars (can't do 4.5). Professional quality. Had lost a size and needed my evening gown taken in - revised shoulders, bust line, sleeves and hem of dress and lining. Terrible. The store owner's attitude, pricing, and customer service all deserve no stars. By the way, the store owner has changed her $20 fitting fee to $40. Not only that, she penciled over the printed 1 to change it to a 4. $40 for 10 minutes of time. She literally held my suit hostage until I could pay her something. I told her it was ridiculous to charge someone for 10 minutes of time. She yelled back at me and said "Fine, just give me $10. I don't want to argue anymore about price. It's not like I don't have enough business." So I went to my car and found five dollars in coins to the five dollar bill I had in my wallet at the time. Also, I just dropped off my suit at a tailor one block away for a total of $60...MORE than HALF of what she was going to charge me - $136. Seriously, what an incredible rip-off. If you know nothing about tailoring cost (like me before I stepped in this shop), do the smart thing and just go elsewhere. Anywhere will save you a ton of money. I went to Kris Tailor at Park Rd and Coit Rd. They shook their head when I brought in my suit and told them about what this place tried to charge me, her "fitting fee", and the experience I went through to get my suit back. read more

Amy is a miracle worker- I had a terribly fitting bridesmaid dress that she not only fixed but she made it even better than I'd imagined! Went in to get a dress altered and she was charging something way out of budget so we kindly told her we would think about it as this was out of budget. She then started bullying us for "wasting her time" and that she should charge us $20 for me showing her the dress for 10 min??? She was offended that we were considering other Tailors and told us not to waste her time. We didnt know the price until after we showed her the dress so how were we suppose to know her rate? She does not have manners and lost my mom and me as customers for all future alterations. Im sure she does great work but bullying a client is completely unprofessional read more

what awful tailor ! i took 5 men's long sleeves shirts to this Parker Tailor to get length shorten and explained to the tailor her name was Amy how to get it done and not to have front straight at bottom i wanted to have curve 2.5" from middle to sides and what she gave me back was disgraced she made all front more like straight and gave back more deeper length and deeper curve ? it looks really bad when i try it on , when i confronted her she acted like she is dumb and wanted more money to fix her mistakes and also i should mention she ask for cash upfront without giving me receipt and we all know why to not report it , i do NOT recommend this tailor previous owners were much professional now i have 5 shirt i can't wear and lost money i gave to this tailor. read more

The previous owner of this shop produced exceptional work and had a fair pricing list. The new owner does good work, but the prices are triple and there are additional fees for routine work. It is unfortunate but I will be looking for another tailor. read more
