We are new in this area and was looking for right dry cleaners. We found that they are good and fast service. Kind of pricey.

Warning - Do NOT take your leather goods here! I brought my 100% leather coat (purchased in Italy) to Royal Cleaners to have it cleaned and stored. Before leaving it, I specifically verified with the manager that they were able to properly clean real leather. She confirmed that they could. When I picked it up a week later, the coat was completely ruined -- the leather was faded, there was a hole in the front, and the sleeves were damaged. When I showed the manager, she said she didn't have to inspect it when it returned from the outside company that actually did the cleaning. I requested the name of the company they used and their business insurance information from both the manager and owner. They refused to provide it. Even my attorney attempted to get the information, but the owner still refused to cooperate. I eventually had to take them to small claims court, but the judge wouldn't review all the photos, emails, or attorney letters. The judge stated I should sue the company that cleaned the coat -- even though Royal Cleaners was the one who hired them and took responsibility for the service. This entire experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. If you value your leather or designer items, do not take them to this cleaner. read more

Took 3 pairs of jeans to get 2 inches hemmed. Owner quoted me $14 each. I go to pick them up and girl behind the counter is charging me $16 each. She calls the owner and puts him on speaker. He tells me the seamstress charged $2 more each because the pant leg is wider! I say but that's not what you quoted me. He says, "ma'am I'm not a seamstress. That's what she charged." So you as the owner should know that's what she charges then since you contract her out. And maybe I should have been told before the work was done so I can decide if I want to pay that much instead of feeling like your holding my items hostage unless I pay. Terrible customer service. AVOID this place at all costs unless you're OK with having your items completely ruined! Pictures don't lie!!! I dropped off a large amount of VERY expensive bedding to them (more than $800 worth) to be cleaned with minimal to no stains on them. They were all different colors and materials such as linen, etc. I picked it up when I was told it would be ready. Fast forward to when I took the clear plastic cover off of the bedding that I had picked up and my husband & I immediately noticed that our BRAND NEW white linen duvet was returned to us discolored and with several stains! The reason why I even gave it to Royal Cleaners to be laundered is because I thought they were pros at cleaning this type of item and I didn't want to wash them at home. I should've just put them in my own high efficiency washer and dryer, so that they wouldn't be ruined. Our other colored sheets were returned with stains on them and/or differences in the texture of the material. I was shocked that after paying nearly $150 for all of these items that the staff never even checked to ensure that they were cleaned properly! At Royal Cleaners, they definitely don't separate the white colored items from the colored ones, and just end up ironing your items to make it look like it's actually laundered. One of the staff actually asked me why I didn't bring the other white linen items from my bedding set to show them that the duvet that I dropped off was actually white and not cream colored. I'm sorry that I didn't need those other items to be laundered? The employee even told me that some of the marks were from when they ironed the items. Clearly, they don't know how to iron properly, which is so sad! Thank goodness that I didn't drop more items off to them! To my surprise, the manager didn't even have any desire to ask the employees what had happened. I took my bedding items back and spoke to the manager who acted like he had no clue how this had happened. Instead of finding the root cause, the manager and staff took ZERO accountability for what happened, which was very disappointing. The manager thinks he's never wrong even when I showed him all of the items that they had "cleaned." Again, pictures don't lie and all of the staff including the manager need to have their vision checked to be honest. When I asked why my items weren't tagged to say something like "We tried cleaning your item, but were unable to" like other reputable companies do, the manager had no response. I had also asked how they're going to compensate me since they ruined my bedding, and the manager stated that they'll try a second time to clean it. I said absolutely not! If you ruined it the first time, there's no way I'd dare to trust you to clean it a second time. Even though he never offered a refund, I definitely requested one, which he did process. However, I'd never come back here, because accountability is SO important to customers like myself and I absolutely can't stand for a company that can't admit to their mistakes nor hold their staff accountable. Overall, I would highly advise against using this company. Many of my husband's casual and dress shirts still smelled like sweat and had stains on them. Read some of the other reviews of how customers stated that they received their same items back with the same stains that hadn't even been touched. For a company that claims to have been in business for several years, their antiquated way of creating tickets for customers' items needs to be revamped to an electronic system. They still use paper and the manager had to flip through several tickets before he even found mine to submit a refund and that was after I had told him the total amount I had paid when I picked up my items. One of the pictures attached to this review will show you the comparison of another white linen duvet we have from the same company compared to the duvet that Royal Cleaners "cleaned" and returned to me (the one they discolored and left with marks all over). I'm trying to find something nice to say, but it is extremely hard. They have spread stains on each of my white shirts, collars are still dirty, and slacks have the same spot on the leg as before. You can tell they either don't try or don't know how to clean clothes because my normal cleaners was able to fix each of their mistakes. 45 minute drive is much better than coming down the road to this cleaner. It also doesn't help that multiple times I've tried to drop stuff off 30 minutes after their posted opening time and they still aren't open. Avoid at all costs. read more

when I walked in it seemed like a really good place , I had them wash dry and fold my clothes for the week , they then told me it would be ready 5 oclock next day , when I picked it up they charged me 3 dollars a pound , the total was 116 ive been on the road traveling had had this same service done and usually was 1.50 a pound or less but what they charge is absolutely disgusting when a place down the road charged me 25 for the same amount they are way over priced and not transparent at all ! Owner and employee allowed another customer to leave with my item (in the middle of a pandemic) and did not want to accrue the cost of the cleaning or the items as I did not feel comfortable taking my items back from someone after it had been in their possession (car, house, etc). Item had a value of over $300 and the owner saw no issue with my concern. On top of this, when the item was brought back it had stains and mildew on it that the customer said were there when he accidentally picked it up. I STILL love Royal Cleaners! Took 2 suit jackets back because there was mud on the sleeves when my husband went to wear them. We thought it came back that way. I found out later that my son actually got the mud on them while getting them out of the car. Trying to find a good cleaners in the area is like searching for bed bugs...nobody has anything nice to say about any of them. Go to Google or Yelp and you'll be lucky to find a place or two that hasn't been raked over the coals by someone who lost a button or got medium instead of heavy starch. This is why I decided it was about time someone said something nice about a local place that didn't suck. I had a uniform that was assaulted by my cats (more specifically, their hair) and two dress shirts that needed cleaning and pressing for a funeral. The location isn't the most convenient due to some screwy one way signs in the parking lot, but they did a great job on all of my clothing and didn't charge me an arm and a leg. So, I had some coats I hadn't used in a while and decided to get them "professionally cleaned" and told my husband to take them to get cleaned for me,he chose ROYAL CLEANERS..So much for the name because after the service is TERRIBLE! My husband only picked them up and brought them home and to my surprise Not only did I received back my coats basically the same as I had sent them in, BUT my husband's coat came back with a RIP! Are you F****g kidding me!! A RIP!!!! They came back the same, they still have fuzzies and hairs on them.(I bet I could of done a better job) but I thought having them done by a "professional" would of been much better‍ Out of the 4 coats I sent only 1 came back cleaned, which happened to be the only thin one, others are much thicker and we're still DIRTY!! Same dirty spots, same, same same and they still smell..Blah And they still have the guts to charge $43.99$$$ At LEAST do your job right and not Ruin other people's clothes!! I came in SOOO last minute because I needed my comforter washed after trying to put it in my own washer at home and it didn't fit (after half of it being soaking wet) he got me in last minute. He Put it in the wash before I even walked out the door was sooo friendly and polite and had it ready for me the next day a little after 1pm. AMAZING SERVICE! Five Stars for this place!! I recently stopped doing dry cleaning by my office in Richardson and was looking for a place in McKinney closet to home. The first place I tried was just a storefront that sent laundry out. I had issues with my first 2 orders with starch stains on my shirts and broken buttons. I never expected to blown away by a cleaners but Royal is the best cleaners I have ever worked with and I have been very very impressed . They do just about everything at this location . They have fixed several shirts that the other dry cleaners broke buttons on for a very reasonable fee. If they break the button they will fix it for free. They even called me recently to tell me my dry cleaning wouldn't be ready until the next day because they were behind. My wife picked up my clothes yesterday and they called me to let me know there was a shirt left that didn't get picked up. I took another shirt recently that had been hanging in my closet for a year with missing a button. They went out of their way to find a button matched because it was much different than most buttons. It's not a fancy place but they are very polite and I believe it is family-run . They really do great work and I highly recommend them! read more
