Been going to Culver's for years. Always, or in the past, I have enjoyed the "flavor of the day" custard. Tonight went for Turtle Dove. Wife and I ordered two orders of the turtle dove. Was handed vanilla custard with a chocolate dust on top. I parked and walked in to show the manager what I received. She apologized and made two new orders. I looked at them and asked, where is the Carmel, pecans and chocolate? She told me it was mixed in the custard. Well....there was two pecan slivers, a literal drop of Carmel and almost no chocolate pieces. I did not even eat it. I'm not a fan of just vanilla custard. For months this has become the normal when ordering a Custard Flavor of the day. You never get the goodies that is advertised and posted on a photo board. I told my wife that Dairy Queen has become 10 times better and I really do not want to return to Culver's. We eat there also and do enjoy the food. But even that has become less desirable. I only wish the local owner would read stuff like my comments so improvement could be made. When things like this continue you loose one, then two and more customers don't go back. It will be a while before I try Culver's for a final visit to see if I ever go back. I'll attach a picture of what it is supposed to look like. Maybe a year ago, it look like the photo. But..not anymore. Very poor quality. read more

Y'all need to give James a raise. My friends and I go to Culver's pretty often after our church group meets and James is always incredible. He is so patient and kind and very helpful. He answers every little question and recommends things to try. He just really cares and always seems so happy to help. We love and appreciate him. And the food is amazing, best chicken strips I've ever had. Love this place so much. read more

Food was really good. And as always the workers at Culver's are friendly and attentive.

I had a terrible experience last week . I sent in a review and I had to enter it three times. I asked them to get a hold of me and I have heard nothing. They are giving lousey service, hot soft drinks and cold terrible food. They don't really care. read more

This place is consistently good! They have lots of food choices, including a few healthy ones. You order at the counter, and they'll bring the food out to you. I also like the different varieties of drinks - Culver's root beer (regular & diet), Powerade, Coke Zero & the regular suspects. I always have great customer service, and the restaurant is clean. read more

My husband went in about 30 minutes ago to order a to go and was very unsatisfied with the customer service. The employees were highly unprofessional. We're having inappropriate conversations amongst each other in front of the paying customers, they were also horse playing with each other. Not only did I receive unprofessional customer service. Once we started eating our food. I will say the fries were somewhat fresh, but both of our burgers were not even quite lukewarm. Very upset with the service and the lack of attention that we received. Definitely will not be returning. read more

Okay, so my wife and I went to Culver's in Meridian Idaho for the first time, to experience and hopefully enjoy their Cod & Walleye meals. They opened at 10am and we arrived shortly thereafter. Being early, there was no line and only one other customer, so no waiting and a choice of seating! I ordered their 3 piece Walleye Dinner and my wife, the 3 piece Cod Dinner, both with coleslaw and onion rings (Before you wonder about Dinner at that hour, consider it's all about leftovers being reheated in a convection oven... bang for your buck and quite tasty :) While we found the meals to be good, we would critique two things! 1. The oil that they fried the fish in was not up to the proper temperature, as the fish was soggy. The oil itself had a fresh taste to it, so congrats on changing it when needed, but they should either turn on the fryer earlier in the morning to bring it up to temp, or run it at the proper temperature for frying. 2. The other thing we would suggest is to both allow the fish to drain a bit longer after removing it from the fryer and to then place it on a piece of Parchment Paper on the serving plate to absorb any residual oil from the fish. They might get away with serving it like that on a bun, where the bread can absorb the excess oil, but not on a plate, where it will swim in it and dissolve all of the crust from the bottom of the fish and render it soggy :( Now... will we go back? Yes, as it was good, but next time, we will get there a wee bit later (let's say at 11am) to offset the oil heating element, while still beating any lunchtime rush, ask them to drain the fish & immediately transfer them to a napkin after it is brought to the table. Oh, and bring along a couple of nice heavy white cotton utility napkins (as a couple of dozen of their paper napkins are not up to the task at hand) Other than that... the fish melted in your mouth and was quite enjoyable! Signed: An 'Older' couple in our 70's, that spent many years in food service ourselves and hope that this review is received with the good intentions it was sent in, to assist them in elevating the quality of their product and ensuring their long-term success (as their service was quite excellent!) read more

Could not be any slower.... 30 mins for a scoop of custard isn't worth it. Drive down the road to Freddy's. Custard is better there too.

Food tasted amazing! Love the burgers, a little on the greasier side but still delicious. Chili was underwhelming but still edible. The custard on the other hand was INCREDIBLE. Love the taste and how it's light on the stomach. Service was fast, ambiance was decent. Would come again. read more

Culver's is a welcome addition to the Meridian and West Boise landscape. Their burgers, cheese curds and custards are must-haves! This place really hits home for me, having grown up in southeast Wisconsin myself, although I have never experienced this place until it opened up here. While the food is much better quality than your standard fast food joint, we have noticed that the service has been hit or miss lately. Depending on the day, we could have amazing service with the people making sure things are correct but on other times we could be ignored, rushed through the drive thru, or have the order come out incorrect. While it is hard to entirely blame the company for the service inconsistencies being as it is difficult to recruit and hire folks actually willing to work these days, one has to wonder if these folks receive consistent training. Another disappointment is the fact that they now charge 35 cents each for fry sauce. Again, one can understand keeping up with inflation, but why can one get the same fry sauce for free at McDonald's or Burger King? We are big fans of Culver's and will continue to support them, but with the competition getting tougher as more fast food options open up in the near future, we hope they can get the issues worked out before it is too late. read more

Ordered a burger with everything on it. Got a plain cheeseburger, brought it back and they handed me the individual burger components (lettuce, pickles, onions, and mayo/mustard) packets so I could build a burger there in the restaurant. No thanks, isn't that what I paid you to do? Won't be back. read more

On a warm day, my husband, our little girl and I decided to stop by Culver's to get some frozen custard. Because the drive through line seemed a bit long, I decided to go inside to order while my husband and our little girl sat at a table outside. The employee who helped me wasn't the nicest but oh well (since I am from California, we don't have a Culver's and I have only been to Culver's twice ever so I'm not the most familiar with their frozen custard flavors). She seemed annoyed when me when I was looking over the menu trying to see what I wanted to order, even though there was no one behind me... Honestly, I probably took less than 5 minutes to make my decision. Some people are just bitter... But anyway, I ended up purchasing: Vanilla Frozen Custard + Waffle Cone- After I ordered my item, I was given a number. I found a booth and sat because I wasn't sure if the employee who brings me my frozen custard would know to find me outside. About 5 minutes after I ordered, my order was brought out to me and then I went outside to join my husband and our little girl. I was surprised to see chocolate syrup on the frozen custard, when I was not asked nor had I requested to have any (I picked vanilla because I thought it would be okay to share with our little girl since she loves eating frozen custard and ice cream too. She is definitely a foodie too. When I have ordered frozen custard from another Culver's location before, it was not served with chocolate syrup). The employee who brought me my order was very friendly. Anyways the frozen custard was good. Just the perfect texture, creamy and just perfect for the warm day we visited. A good portion to share with another or 2 (including a cute little dog). If only there was a Culver's closer to me. ---------------------- $3.06 after tax Service really could have been friendlier at the register. But I won't let that spoil my frozen treat. Plenty of parking. Would come back to try some of the other food offerings here if I lived closer. read more

Service was extremely slow we had a very small order and it took more than 10 minutes to come out the drive-thru. Once the order was received the smoothies had a strange smell coming from the cups. The smelled like someone had not changed gloves from fried foods to drinks. read more

After coming here I can positively say, Culver's has THE BEST concrete mixers. I would say that this fast food restaurant is very clean and peaceful. It was cool that you could order at the front then sit down and they would bring the food out to wherever you sat. I also enjoyed the online ordering via table QR code. I got the chicken tenders (which were AMAZING and so moist), a chocolate concrete mixer, and of course the cheese curds (mozzarella and cheddar). read more

Was the MOST AMAZING EXPERIENCE! The cashier who helped us out was super helpful and extremely kind! Give that man a raise!!! I'm blanking on his name but he's strawberry blond with glasses and a beard. The restaurant was clean and this was the most amazing first experience ever! I had Culver's once almost 11+ years ago but now that I live in a state with a Culver's, they will eventually know me by my first name LOL! read more

Came thru the drive through tonight. I was the only person there in drive thru and ordered 2 shakes and one fry. Had to wait 15 minutes for my order and both shakes were the wrong shakes. Then had the audacity to make me give them back the shakes they made wrong so they could throw them in the trash. Terrible service. Waste of my time. Can't believe they didn't even offer me any compensation for their own mistake of making my order wrong. Should have just gone to in n out, would have been faster and done right the first time. read more

Really great food. i love the build your own burgers, never seen any other franchises do that. excellent service!

After seeing this place advertised for so long we finally decided to try it. My mother-in-law saw they had Fish 'n Chips and wanted to see what they were like. After driving 30 mins. from Caldwell, we arrived... only to wait nearly 45 mins. for our food. There are brand new places with longer lines getting you through quicker. The service was slow and tepid at best, nobody seems to be happy to be there, or acted like they were enjoying their job. I got the Limited Edition Northwoods Walleye dinner with fries and onion rings. We also got the cheese curds because we were told they were amazing. Boy were we lied to. The curds were so salty I could hardly gag them down, I can name two places that make them better. The fish had good flavor and was nice and flaky, however it was so saturated in oil the batter was slimy and gross. I could hardly touch it without getting all over my hands, not what I expected from fish and chips. The onion rings were the star of the show, on par with some of the best I've had and the fries, well, they were your normal, run-of-the-mill fast food variety. Overall, this place was a decent place, but not the best go-out-of-my-way to eat there place. Maybe I got the wrong thing but unless I am with a group that is eating here I probably wouldn't return. read more

We heard about this place and how the butter burger, Wisconsin cheese curds and the custard were what they were known for. We tried this establishment yesterday for the first time. I ordered a single butter burger but got a double and was charged for a double. Didn't appreciate that. Also ordered the cheese curds and regretted getting the large. The curds were so salty, they were inedible. I loved the hamburger, however, but could only eat half of it because it was just too much for this little old lady. Work out the kinks, and I will be back. read more

I'm a huge fan of Culver's so whenever I'm in town I try to make a stop. It's fast food but the quality is way better than other fast food places. Culver's is a fast-casual restaurant aiming for quality over speed. They have a large menu of choices and serve chocolate, vanilla, and the flavor of the day frozen custard. I found this to be a very friendly restaurant to take the family. Their fish and chips is great! Flaky and freshly made. They have burgers similar to Freddys, but a little thicker. Staff is super accommodating. The kids meals are a reasonable price and come with a scoop of custard (which is shareable with mom and dad!) I would highly recommend giving them a try if you're looking for better quality than your run of the mill fast food joint. read more

I worked here for a couple months last summer. It seems like they were just in a hurry to have employees & not really sure how to run a business. Training was terrible. And their system of team work was very much lacking. If I didn't catch on quick I was ignored & basically left to just " figure it out . " Running a business isn't something you randomly wake up and decide to do . Hopefully it's turned around. read more

Locally owned and operated, this fast-food chain specializing in frozen custard and signature burgers made with Midwest beef and dairy according to the girl who talked to our table last night. We came to their grand opening day, it was crazy. The place was a zoo, but hey, it's their grand opening day so you kind of expected this kind of situation. but We didn't need to wait too long for our order to be deliver, 10 minutes top! At first you place your order and pay in the counter then they give you a table number then they will deliver your order to your table. They have everything! From burgers to soup to salad and cold treats. It was so hard to decide, too many choices!:)) Finally we order Wisconsin cheese curds, Onion rings and 6 different kind of concrete mixers. Every one of them was good! I can't wait to go back and try other things! read more

This actually made a YouTube list of best fast food burgers. I was really hungry. It was there. I decided to give it a try. Best part of the experience was the service. Well trained staff abs super perky. Burger was fresh (as they advertise never frozen) and had great taste and texture but it was so thin the bun to meat ratio was off. Definitely would get a double to correct this. Fries were a total miss. Pres study much the frozen crinkle fries we can all by at the grocery store. Best thing I can say is at least they were hit! The best thing was the fry sauce which had a nice Dijon flavor in addition to the normal as l ketchup snd mayo. The got the internet frequents perfect for my taste buds. I would give it a second chance just because it was a very pleasant experience read more

I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich. They must have been trying to prank me and used a piece of rubber colored to look like chicken. I took one bite and tried to give the rest of the chicken to my dog. He didn't want it. That says it all. Update. I love going to Culver's in Meridian. The restaurant is spotless and the food is freshly cooked and delicious.

I saw a billboard advertising custard at Culver's on Fairview so Sherry and I decided to give this a try to cool our pallets after some Thai food. The menu was confusing (how do I order *just* a custard without toppings, extras, etc.) and the cashier seemed to be just as confused because she couldn't explain it either. Sherry finally got it figured out (look at the bottom of the menu for the version without all the extras). The custard was served in scoops in a cup, different from the softer custard served at Freddy's. Our initial impression was the same: when we first tasted the custard at Freddy's we both though "Wow, this is really good!". Here, it was just good. Couple that with the confusing menu and the unhelpful help, and you get a 'Meh'. read more

"My pleasure", it took me by surprise when she said this to me. Are we trying to compete with chic fil a for the best customer service in town? Well Culver's step on up. By first glance Culver's is an extremely clean fast food restaurant. I lean towards restaurant because of the nice dining area and the amount of people eating in. You'll find it very similar to Chick-fil-A in terms of seating arrangements. Booths, tables, and a few high tops. The food: this is where by appearance the food takes a hit. The burger came out a bit wet on the bottom and a bit greasy looking. My heart skipped a beat looking at it, but in reality the food didn't taste too heavy and it has a good classic taste. Id most attribute it to Dairy Queen, but better. Overall I think this place is pretty sweet for the price. The staff is well trained and courteous. The food isn't the best, but you could find much worse. I'll come again. read more
