Food VERY good, especially the fried chicken, ordered by my date (a bit expensive for this, but worth it)... I had the Peking Duck & Shrimp Fried rice. (Good, but not great). Service was good as on our first visit a couple of weeks ago. The only issue, as with our first visit, was the VERY LOUD MUSIC. Having endured the music volume on our first visit, we requested and ate at corner table in a side room.... Better, at least we could hear each other, but only by speaking loudly. As with many restaurants around the country, this restaurant seems to wish a "hip" vibe by blasting music continuously. read more

We stopped in for dinner while traveling. Ambiance is great, very cute & modern restaurant. Server was very friendly. I made a reservation ahead of time but the wait time seemed reasonable for walk ins, 20-25 mins or so on a Thursday evening. Leaving 3 stars bc while the environment is fun, most of our food left something to be desired. Presentation was great but the steak frites were pretty bland and came out cold. The pretzel balls & fondue were tasty. Kids meals were bland also, not terrible but not great either. I ordered the truffle mushroom pizza & it was okay. The Mississippi Mud pie is delish! read more

Our server, Leah, was so nice! Our food took a little longer than it was supposed to, but the ambiance was great and we still had a lovely time just sitting and chatting. We were offered free drinks for our wait, which wasn't necessary but obviously we appreciated. I can't wait to come back! read more

Dinning in is usually pretty good but if you get it to go forget about service. I have not once in the 3 times I've got something to go had the order been totally correct. Tonight was the worst. I ordered the shaved prime rib dip to go. The meat was dry and the main part of the sandwich is the dip and that was not in the order. Fries were cold. Lesson learned not to trust anyone they package their Togo orders like Taco Bell you may or may not get what you ordered. I mean $25 for a sandwich and fries you would think they would take extra care in packaging your order.... read more

The food and drinks were 'meh!' My family and I tried to visit this place LAST MONTH. We were stopped at the door because they were "not taking walk-ins at the moment. It is reservations only because it's opening week." I thought that was absurd, but we said okay and made a reservation for another date. We were finally able to visit today. Here's what we ordered: Pub Burger (asked for medium, received well done) Fried chicken (we had to wait a bit... for what I don't know because the chicken was lukewarm and dry) Turkey Pastrami (the pretzel bun was hard, everything else was good) Fish & chips (everything was hot and fresh) Por Favor Margarita (good) Mojito (good) Endless Summer Margarita (NO!!! The summer salt ruined the drink) Would I return, maybe? Not for brunch, though. Maybe I'll give the dinner a try. read more

My fiancé and I made reservations at Culinary Dropout and had a fantastic experience. We arrived at our reservation time and were sat quickly. The service was great and so was the food! We ordered the house made chips and onion dip as well but they were devoured before I could think to take a picture. It was a nice night out so they had lots of people enjoying the patio seating and had their main doors open which felt very inviting. I would definitely go back with friends to enjoy a drink and try the small plate and shareable options. read more

I've eaten at this restaurant twice now. I heard so much good buzz about it when I was multiplet disappointed after the first visit, I thought well let's just give it another shot. I've eaten there twice now and both times I found it to be very mediocre. read more

I don't have pictures but everything was amazing - we loved the pretzel fondue, roasted Brussels and pork belly nachos. All three starters were generous portions and so yummy. Five of us shared the three and it was plenty. We had a couple of the salads, the asian and kale salad and both were really good and the steak frites and mongolian were also good read more

We liked the low key vibe and the servers were very friendly and comfortable at work. A bit pricey but tasty. We had a cup and a bowl of French onion soup, fish and chips and a charcuterie "the slicer" with an appropriate tip it was $101. No deserts or drinks, just diet cokes. It may be approaching overpriced hence the 4 stars, otherwise good all around, hope it stays that way read more

After hearing great things about Culinary Drop Out 2 of my friends and I went .. 2 of us were celebrating birthdays. Even though it wasn't necessary, we had reserved a table. Our experience was less than stellar . I've already written one review on another service and the general manager responded to my review and requested that I get in touch with him and I did . we chatted for a bit. I told him how disappointed we were... several things on their menu were not available due to equipment failure .. You would think they would've made an announcement somewhere saying that they've had equipment failure - oh and when we were seated No one mentioned anything about any issues ... guess they didn't feel they needed to do that. We said it was our first time there as well .. prior to ordering .. in any respect the substitutions were fair. Nothing arrived hot. It was fairly lukewarm at best- flavor wise. It was just ok ...Disappointed though for the kind of money being spent on our lunch that it wasn't better ... Desserts - lo and behold The ones we wanted they did not have - same reason equipment failure -we opted for two other desserts that were ok ... Had hoped for a better experience for the cost - anyway the GM offered to give us meals on the house said I would receive an email. Guess what ! no email Checked spam folder for several days ..never received anything... I wanted to give them a chance to to do better.. ohh let's not forget all the flies we were swatting away from our food granted apparently it's an open air restaurant in other words when you sit in the back, you're still going get annoyed by the flies because they leave their doors open .. Really wanted to give a great review but that's just not going to happen - read more

Staff was super nice! Shoutout to our waitress Shelby, sweet and helpful young lady. The food was awesome! Definitely we'll be back .

Food and drinks were great. Server Joi was very attentive and sweet. Would definitely return on next trip.

Food is meh, overcooked, over fried. Service was good, but non of our dishes were particularly memorable.

We were a large family group celebrating a graduation. Could not have been happier with our choice. Love the ambience and the servers were all great. We ordered just about every appetizer for the table....the feta dip and wings were fabulous! All the others were good, but those were outstanding. Best I could tell everyone enjoyed their main course. Cacio e pepe got raves from the grad. All in all, a very satisfying experience. Would go back. read more

Great atmosphere and both indoor and patio seating. Weather was nice so we sat on the patio. The food was great but a little pricey. Service was average. Those that got drinks enjoyed them. read more

The staff was friendly and the vibe was enjoyable. They have a nice patio and set up was nice. The food; however, was a different story. I was very disappointed in our experience. We order the recommended pretzels and fondue for an appetizer and the fondue was chunky and not well mixed together. The entrees we ordered were both severely lacking in seasoning and flavor. I've had better food from Applebees lol. Definitely will not be back read more

Went for brunch. Great ambiance and live music wasn't too loud. However, the food was subpar and my Bloody Mary left much to be desired.

I had the fish and chips and brussel sprouts. They were both excellent. I especially enjoyed the sprouts. The only complaint I have was the service. I don't know if I came at a bad time or in between shifts, but we waited forever for our orders to be taken. Other than that it was a good experience. read more

Welcoming restaurant, good service and food was great. The wait was a bit long but was worth it .

Cute aesthetic but it was about an hour until my friends and I got our food and our waitress never came by to get my drink order so I just gave up. My friends food came out piping hot but mine was barely warm and my other friends food came out wrong so that was an additional 40 minutes so they could redo it. They comped some of our items but we weren't even the only table having these issues. Probably won't come back because it was barely okay read more

I attended for a work function. The ambiance was a bit confusing. Was it a sports bar or was it high end dining? The food has potential but I guess the name of the restaurant was a clue to that. The brussel sprouts had a good flavor except it was drenched in the sauce. I think a subtle drizzle would've enhanced the roasted brussel sprouts instead of it being in a soup of sauce. The pretzel and fondue were mediocre. I wanted the Korean style ribeye cap but it wasn't available, therefore settled on the steak frite. The steak came out cooked to my request (medium rare), however, they sliced it with the grain rather than against it. The flavor was good but very chewy. I got the peanut butter cheesecake for dessert. It was ok but nothing to be excited about. I really enjoyed my strawberry lemonade though and the service was great! I would still recommend Culinary Dropout but wouldn't frequent it. read more

First off, adorable name. The vibe and aesthetic is very beautiful and classy. Every staff member was so kind and courteous. I got the sweet tea bc the reviews i saw. It was fantastic. The food was not. It was very mid. read more

I have been here 3 time and have had 3 different experiences. I am a big charcuterie person but the options that they have available and for the prices is ridiculous. I don't eat much meat so they don't have many cheeses and a lot of meat options for the board and really expensive. The vegan curry is really good, definitely recommend thatI've sat next to the speakers twice and I could not hear any conversation with my friends the first time and with my husband the second time. The third time my husband and I sat at the bar and the bartender was really sweet, but the drink prices were ridiculously expensive, I would not try the spa because it taste like cilantro with mud and I ordered a margarita with mezcal and that drink was $21. The ambience is nice if you're not sitting next to the speakers. read more

Our service was good, ambiance is nice, but this place is a complete rip off. They spend lots of money trying to make it look fancy, but will literally serve you a frozen pizza that they heated up in the microwave. read more

Didn't love this place. Had reservations but the hostess refused to seat us until our final 2 people arrived. There were plenty of tables but the hostess didn't seat us until ten minutes after the reservation, with all parties in attendance at our reservation time. The waitress didn't come to our table for another 15 minutes, and couldn't answer simple questions about drinks, she actually answered with a shrug. The food was good, but I can eat meatloaf and fried chicken anywhere, without dealing with the unprofessional attitude. read more

Positive: Ambiance - Good Service - Good Negative: Food - substandard. The Fried Chicken was hyped. It was overcooked and breading was hard as a rock. It was difficult to determine if the intent was boneless or boned as it was somewhere in between. As for the ribs the sauce was tasty but far too much sauce in what was clearly to make up for the poor quality rib with very little meat. Sides where like that is an Applebees Further while it is a nice restaurant the lack of uniformity or theme of the server attire was like the meal. Dysfunctional read more

Zero stars for the food, giving 2 stars because the service was good. The pepperoni and sausage pizza was a Digiorno or Tony's pizza at best. Overpriced is an understatement. Definitely my last visit. read more

Early birthday celebration tonight, since I'll be getting a total knee replacement right before my birthday. Yay me. The Culinary Dropout (Summit) was amazing ! Where do I start? Dennis got beer and I splurged on the Endless Summer Margarita. It was cool and refreshing (fresh watermelon juice) with a touch of spice (chili salt rim). It's a must try! The fondue cheese with pretzel bites was so good- soft bites with a creamy cheese sauce. I had the trout entree - and this is the best trout I have ever put in my mouth! It came with sautéd green beans, caramelized shallots, toasted almonds, and lemon butter. Dennis had the Korean Ribcap that was topped with elevated stirfry veggies. Just the right amount of heat and also delish! Birthday desserts are on the house, and we opted for the chocolate Mississippi mudpie. It is definitely a dessert for sharing. Our waitress was Ashley and she was wonderful! We opted for an outside table. Great ambiance. Live music inside but you could enjoy it outdoors as well. We will definitely go back. read more

This location just opened in the summit and I was able to stop in at lunch on a Sunday and receive a table with only a 20 minute wait. The wait staff aren't wearing uniforms so it makes it confusing to know who is a worker or patron. The food is good, but nothing spectacular. read more
