My 1st visit was really good as Maria showed me around and explained how the units worked. Upon hearing that I would need my storage unit for a couple more weeks Maria extended my reservation to keep my rate and that really helped. On move in day I was given a phone call the day before, to check to make sure what time I was going to arrive. I was able to reschedule my time when I realised that the time slot didn't work any longer. The office staff were very flexible with helping me out. I was able to complete the whole moving process in less than 30 minutes. Overall I am happy with my unit I end up getting a 10 by 7 and a 1/2. I do like the ease of unloading my S UV into their docking station. I appreciate the climate control as it can get really hot during the summer and I was worried about my electronics. This was the true reason I picked this location even though about $50 more per month than the location about 2 miles away. All in all super excited about the fringe benefits of this location, To include utilization of a moving truck. The nice thing is that they allow you to use the moving truck up to 2 weeks from your moving date. This alone is going to save me a $150.

We were victims of a Con artist and took a financial hit that was extremely difficult to recover from. We fell behind on the rent. I presented our hardship to the staff here. I cried and begged them to please give us time to not loose everything we had. But, instead they raised the rent. We did everything we could to raise the money. Paid them thousands and got within a few hundred dollars from paid off. So, they raised the rent again and added more fees. We begged. My Mother even paid what she could and begged them as well to have a heart. But, we lost everything. The money we thought would be our cushion to be able to rebuild our lives went to paying fees to these heartless people. We were $200 short and we lost everything. The units, hallways, and elevators are spotless. I never had a concern about the temperature or humidity inside the building. I appreciated that there was surveillance in all the hallways, given that it is a very large and cavernous place. In the end, the human element is what makes this facility stand out. I dealt mainly with Mario, and he is super-conscientious and pro-actively gave me every bit of information I needed to use this facility confidently, rent an additional unit, and vacate my spaces economically. Had a confirmed reservation. Show up and the dreaded "system is down". Long wait with no movement. You would think in this biz U-Haul would provide for nimbly switching to good ole manual in-triplicate form-based checkout and input the info later. We punted to reserve and pick up on line using the QR on a poster. Got confirmation in about 10, showed guy at counter and walked out with keys. No instruction where to find vehicle nor method to madness of where to find it. Finally find it. Prepping to go--rear turn signals nor brake lights work! How does a vehicle get checked in to go back out on the road this way?! Someone(s) is/are not doing their job and creating an unsafe condition. Flagged down someone working a forklift in the lot. He went in, another guy came out with new keys. That truck checked out. What could have/should have been a 5-10 minute transaction took 45 minutes putting us even further behind on a move. On the positive side staff remained helpful but reacting to situations that should never have occurred. Added an extra star solely due to the staff's good intentions. Truck condition good overall but you have to have all systems properly working!! U-Haul, no ramp to the truck bed is a killer and lame! Poor to mediocre value for the money. (U-Haul, rather than spending valuable resources putting where to find interesting destinations on the side of your trucks, put those resources into quality assurance, quality control, a safety culture, accountability to a vehicle check-in/check-out process, and a reliable and efficient customer experience. And we drove maybe 20 miles total. The guy at the U-Haul place used his phone to measure the tank gauge and said we didn't put enough gas in and charged us another $11. He was a total Ahole too. Never go back here they are crooks. They advertise $20 a day for the van, but plan on being billed $135 at least. Corporate greed.

I was initially so impressed with All My Sons dba "New City Moving". They quoted me $190/hr for…read morelabor plus a $290 flat fee, and I paid a $100 deposit. The team confirmed all the details ahead of time, including my request to move over 10 pieces of artwork. They estimated a 5-hour move with three men, and on the day of the move, they arrived promptly at 8 AM, worked efficiently, and completed the move-out by 1 PM. The move-in process at my new home started at 1 PM and wrapped up around 3 PM. Throughout the day, the team was respectful, careful with my belongings, and truly seemed to go the extra mile. I was so appreciative of their hard work that when the team lead, Sergio, requested a cash tip, I went to the ATM and withdrew $500 -- $200 of which I gave directly to the crew as they finished up. Unfortunately, this is where my experience took a sharp turn. I placed the remaining $300 in my purse, consisting of one $100 bill and $200 in $20 bills. After noticing the sky open up around 2:30 PM with heavy rain, I felt even more sympathetic to their efforts and decided to give them an additional $100. When I went to retrieve the money, I was shocked to find my purse had been disturbed and only $100 (in 20's) remained. To make matters worse, when I returned to my old apartment to finish cleaning, I found a pile of belongings left behind. Despite paying for a full-service move, it seems the crew simply decided some of my things weren't worth taking. The lack of communication and care was beyond frustrating. And if all of that wasn't enough, after providing my email address multiple times, I still have not received an itemized receipt, invoice, or a clear breakdown of charges. The final bill came to $2,145 -- almost twice the original estimate -- leaving me furious. After deducting the $100 deposit, I owed $2,045. I understand that moving is tough and unexpected factors can arise, but the dramatic increase in cost combined with the apparent theft, lack of accountability, and poor service left a lasting impression. I cannot in good conscience recommend All My Sons dba "New City Moving." While the physical labor of the move was well done, the lack of integrity and professionalism by at least one member of the crew completely ruined the experience. If you decide to use this company, I strongly advise keeping your valuables secured, double-checking that all your belongings are loaded, documenting all interactions, and following up on the communication regarding your charges.
