Pretty sweet spot, serving as a small market with snacks, drinks, pastries, and more filling sandwiches like paninis. Inside is more market-like than cafe-like, but there's some seating. Was carrying some hot takeout so I placed an online order hoping to grab and go but when I went to pick up, they had missed my order. They then began to make the order. Not a big deal, but their online ordering (via Toast) is slightly marked up. Black Sesame Cream Coffee - amazing drink with a great blend of black sesame cream, coffee, and black sesame latte at the bottom. Drink was nutty, toasty, and earthy. One of the more well rounded black sesame drinks around, at a solid price. Purple Sweet Potato Latte - went all in and big here with the 32oz. There's something lacking with this drink, but I can't quite pinpoint it. Tastes like too much purple sweet potato and no latte. While the lattes here are not coffee based, the drink balance is off. I feel this would do wonderful with coffee or more milk, because the sweet potato taste was almost too artificial and chalky. read more

These pastries.... yummmm!!!!! Clean space, open and full of light. Variety of snacks and fresh pastries to choose from. Personally I am a eat them warm kind of person and that made them even better. The black sesame cream coffee was divine and unique very nutty, slightly gritty, bitter (in a good, authentic sesame way), and balanced out beautifully with the sweet cream on top. That creamy finish softened the roast and made every sip smooth and indulgent. I savor every sip! My girlfriend ordered the Japanese purple sweet potato drink and wow it was sweet, nutty, and it truly tasted like real sweet potato. Not artificial, not overly sugary just rich and comforting. The guys were super nice and patient as we reviewed the menu and ask questions. They are definitely friendlier than others. The ambience is simple and cozy with only about four seats, so it's ideal for grab-and-go rather than lingering. Lots of options for pastry and sandwiches. Small space, big flavors. This is the best way to end a Seattle coffee crawl with a bang. Highly recommended! read more

Located right in downtown with plenty of street parking as well as nearby parking garages. When you enter, it gives that grab and go vibe similar to what you'd want to experience right before work. The decor was modern and they had so many different options of local pastries and desserts amongst other snacks and to go drinks. The staff were friendly and my drink came out very quickly. I got an Iced Jeju Hojicha Latte with Oat Milk and it had a nice roast flavor to it and had a bit of that expected texture from both the Hojicha but also bein paired with the Oat Milk. It comes unsweetened, which is perfect for me, and definitely satisfied the craving for some good Hojicha. read more

I visited Seattle over the weekend and during that short visit, I came here twice because it was sooooo good! I personally love plain yogurt smoothie but this place had the best one I've had in so long! But besides that, other drinks like matcha coffee latte, pineapple & peach yogurt smoothie and chestnut latte were all so yummy. The service providers were so welcoming and kind, making the ordering process smooth. The ambiance of the cafe was not the typically type of cafe but had multiple choices of bread, macaroons, sandwiches, snacks such as chips, chocolate and nuts! Nice market addition to downtown. Lots of grab and go sandwiches and salads from other local businesses in Seattle along with bakes by Macadons and Mitten Sweets. Along with bags of snack options. Probably one of the most extensive in house beverage lists I've seen. Lots of different coffee and tea options along with smoothies. like that they offer all fruit as well as yogurt smoothies. I'm an all fruit person was going to try the blue berry pomegranate one the day I went but they were out so I had a mango one was delicious. The yogurt smoothies taste like yakult and their coffee drinks are unique and delicious! I believe their menu is like a korean cafe menu with flavors and combos that are trending in korea. Pastries are reasonably priced and fresh. Hardly any seating but there is a little ledge with tables where you can sit if you're alone. read more

I ordered coffee, left a good tip, and everything was fine at first. I stepped outside for a moment to put the coffee in my car and came back to use the restroom. I was told the restroom is for customers only. I showed my coffee and explained that I had just purchased it, but was told that since I stepped outside, I had to buy something again to use the restroom. I've never experienced this kind of treatment before. Very disappointing. Not recommended. read more

Ordered a mocha with no ice. The cup came in barely at 50% point or less. I asked why it was so low, and apparently the rest of it is meant to be filled with ice. I asked if it could just be topped up with cold milk. But apparently that's "too many ingredients", and was told I'd have to pay extra. Seriously nickle and diming over like 5oz of milk. Next door Baxter Frost, Storyville, Starbucks and pretty much many places happily give you a full glass coz when you're already paying like $6+ for a drink, they don't go petty over a little bit of milk. Had to get a refund since the lady hard refused changes and needed extra for anything. read more

Sad to say, giving this place very little stars due to no stock of items. My nephew really wanted a mango smoothie here and after several failed attempts, it saddens me to leave a low review. Attempt 1: After a day of exploring under the Seattle heat on a Saturday evening, we checked the store hours online and noted it said closes at 9pm. Sweet. On our stroll back to the hotel, it was around 6:10ish and the door was propped open so we peaked our heads in only to hear, we're closed. There was a big parade that day so maybe that's why they decided to close early; to avoid traffic/chaos. Ok, understandable I guess Attempt 2: After joining a tour which ended late afternoon Sunday, my nephew and I popped in before dinner to hopefully pick up this sweet beverage to cool ourselves down. We walk in, placed our order, only to hear the barista say " we don't have mangos in stock. We're out of X, Y, and Z". Maybe we came too late and they ran out....? Attempt 3: We noted the store hours are 6am-9pm so our final attempt was Monday morning at 7am--who orders mango smoothies at 7am right? We walk in and the barista said "I remember you guys came in yesterday but we're still out of stock, maybe try later in the afternoon?" We were leaving that morning.... The servers were friendly but my nephew just wanted a mango smoothie so I was more sad for him x 3. Maybe one day they'll have it in stock.... A kid can dream. read more

Are you tired of paying $12 for a decent latte in the city? This cute little Asian cafe will delight you. $7 for 20oz and they don't shame you at checkout for excessive tip. Lots of super cute bakery items that they warm for you on demand and of course the beverages are killer! Was walking by yesterday when I needed an afternoon iced coffee. We were just close to it so decided to give it a try. The service is amazing, the cashier was very patient and friendly, answered all my questions. We decided to go with the peanut butter cream iced coffee and oh my god, it was amazing. I would say one of the top iced coffee that I have ever had with actual chunks of peanut butter if you'd like an energizing afternoon coffee with protein. I will go back right now in fact to try something else. Overall the service was amazing and the atmosphere was very relaxing and stress free which is not usual in coffee shops. Oh my god. Their specialty coffees are so delicious. I live close by and this immediately became my spot to go get "treat yourself" coffees. The original cream coffee is my usual go-to, but the biscoff, Ferrero Rocher, peanut butter, and tiramisu are all excellent. I can't wait to try all their other flavors, and I hope to see some seasonal flavors in the future too! The staff here are so friendly and kind. Ordered the Lotus Biscoff Cream Coffee and some cookies they had from Gelatiamo. The cream on the coffee was fresh made but I only waited around 5 minutes for it. The person that took my order was super friendly and answered lots of my questions. And the coffee was delicious and not too sweet. Most things in the store are from local bakeries in the area including bagels, Asian bakery items, macarons, and muffins. They also had ready to go lunch items like sandwiches and salads and more common grocery store snacks. Inside is nice and the seating area is pretty small, mostly seems for waiting for your order. We went around 11 in the morning, and it was PACKEDDDD. The inside was completely full, and there was even a line out the door, so I honestly didn't think our group of 4 would find seating. The line moved really fast tho, and we managed to grab one of the viet style low table and chair setups that you'd typically see on the street back home, I liked it a lot. The drinks and food also came out surprisingly quickly despite how busy it was. We ordered a lot to try! Drinks: 1 phe muoi $6.75 1 matcha einspanner $8.75 1 earl grey matcha $9 1 banana pudding matcha latte $11 1 hojicha latte $6.50 Their matcha was smooth, no astringency, I wished it was more matcha taste bc it's a little light but that's just me bc I like umami matcha. Food: Phe Sliders $13 MUSTTTT GET!! My group absolutely devoured these. The rolls were soft and airy, and somehow the sliders still felt light and not too heavy. The aioli was sooooo yum we scrape every bits of it lolllll. I'd honestly come back just for this dish alone. xoi chay $15- Really good breakfast option. The sticky rice was soft and chewy, and all of the toppings came together really well. Easily my new favorite spot. I get why it's so popular on social media, and I'll definitely keep coming back whenever I'm in Seattle for sure!!

I wish I had more time to sit around and do some work. I ordered the seasonal lavendar piper latte with oat milk. It's great that they don't charge extra for milk alternatives. I took a chance with the seasonal latte even though I don't typically like floral tastes and really enjoyed it! Also grabbed a bag of beans as a gift. Latte isn't cheap, but pretty standard price. Staff was also very friendly despite the line (which moved quickly).

I found it very delicious and light and refreshing. If you're looking for a Matcha, the Matcha flavor isn't very strong and it mostly tastes like an earl grey latte, but it is delicious and creamy. I ended up coming back and getting it again but with extra Matcha foam for additional Matcha flavor. Absolutely loved this drink. I also got a Matcha latte with black sesame cold foam. I've had a black sesame Matcha from somewhere else before, and the sesame flavor was very light, so that was what I was expecting, but was met with a very strong sesame flavor. I was not a huge fan as it felt overpowering and I couldn't taste the matcha. However, this is just a personal preference thing and if you like black sesame you should definitely try it! I'm not sure what much they used, but it didn't taste like the best quality, but it is still delicious and their drinks are all fun . The inside is small but and warm and cozy and they do have some seating. I was always able to find a spot. Super cute place with very sweet baristas.

BTW VIVACE roasts its own coffee, specializing in a Northern Italian style developed by founder David Schomer since 1992... This is why you'll love its taste... VIVACE's interior space is very large for small & medium size gatherings with a hipster eclectic taste of furnishings. Also beware free WiFi if you're a lounge lizard is available... During good weather days outside seating is available for the rare days the gods allow Seattle sun to shine down upon us. The espresso itself is mostly crema, really well done and not something I have found many places outside of Italy they definitely know what they are doing. Plenty of seating and places to work if you want to work there and they also sell pastries and take home items like beans, mugs, espresso cups etc. Definitely worth a visit if you are local in the Seattle area or visiting. Parking on broadway is a bit hit or miss but you can usually find a spot either on the main street or a nearby side street.

I really miss the previous staff, who were warm, friendly, and made a point to greet each customer who walked in. The two employees working today a man and a woman came across as passive aggressive when handing out drinks, especially if someone didn't hear their drink being called or asked a question. It made the experience feel uncomfortable and unwelcoming. As a local, I expect better consistency and customer care. For some reason, you get a much better experience both in service and quality at Victrola on 3rd & Pine in Capitol Hill & Pike. At this point, I don't plan on coming back to this location.
