had an ignition problem, three different technicians called and hours later finally one showed up. was suppose to replace the ignition instead he barely repaired the old one but still charged us $600. few days later still having problem and now they want more money to replace the ignition which they were to do it the first time. use other reputable company I called the main line and wanted their address so I can go talk to a manager and listen to this, the person told me we don't have an address, so I asked where are (you) right now and he said I don't know and hung up. Go figure. Don't use CT Locksmith read more

Fast response & work, honest & a fair value - I would recommend this company to anyone

On Thursday Night 6/20/24 my family and I went to have dinner with my mother. We normally don't lock our car because we have an issue with the lock however that night we locked to avoid possible theft as it happened to my mother recently at her home. At the time of leaving around 10:30pm and after an hour of trying we couldn't jimmy the lock open so my husband google locksmiths and called MR LOCKSMITH & GARAGE LLC. He told the guy giving us the quote that we needed JUST a lock out service. The guy quoted us $29.99 service fee and about $50-$60 for the lock out service. My husband confirmed "so about $90 dollar?" and he responded "yes" so we agreed. After 13 minutes the locksmith from CT LOCKSMITH arrived and immediately without ever looking at the lock tried to sell us a bundle for $450 we declined and said no we only wanted to get our car unlocked. He said "Here's the deal, it's $180 to open that door for you." We told him that was NOT what we were just quoted and that we really didn't have that money to spend we are only prepared to pay the $90. He again tried to sell us the bundle but for the price of $350 we again declinded and told him that we weren't going to pay the $180 either. After going back and forth he said he'd do it for $145+tax. I agreed because it was 12am now, I have my 3 girls with me, I have to work the next morning, etc. I felt like I didn't have a choice...we needed to get home. I'm not happy having to pay more than I was originally quoted. I feel like I was taken advantage of as a women with her three kinds locked out on the side of the road and know that i'm not the only one being conned. Later that night, my mom called to pretend she needed a quote for the same service and she was quoted the SAME EXACT thing we were. $29.00 & $50-$60 for the service. So that tells us they are misleading and conning many people. All I want is for CT Locksmith & MR Locksmith & Garage LLC to make things right. read more

Alex was great he helped as soon as I called. He gave me a time frame and arrived just as quoted

1. Speedy Locksmith in DTLA 2. You call and talk to him. No bs call center where you're waiting for the lockmsith to call you. 3. Prices are fair, honest (no estimates) are you're given a real quote. 4. He fast (if he says 40mins, he'll be there in 30min) 5. minimal English, but he's fast and no talking really needed 6. Again, He's fast in DTLA, I waited 2 hrs for other locksmiths, then they want to d*ck me on price. 7. He's HONEST!!! Just Call Already!!! read more

Pro service to changed lock core at LA 90021 murano condominium.

Nice bit of work this guy does, I do wish he was a bit easier to understand but that positive attitude and no bs talk is very respectable. That satisfactory work he helped me with is great to me, love my new lock. My opinion, those stickers he has are a tad annoying, but I have no right to talk to this business like that when other locksmiths do it too and the economy is this bad. I do appreciate and favor this locksmith. read more

Sorry but the update from the key. My car was able to be unlocked. But as soon as we went to start the car it wouldnt turn over due to my 97 mazda having a "chip". James instead of giving me a key that works leaves satisfied with taking 90$ which was discounted orig. 110$. And leaves a very unsatisfied customer. I called another locksmith and they came out did it for half the price and my car started and made me aware i did NOT have a chip. read more
